981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: September 22, 2021, 06:39:47 PM
this is very unfortunate why beginners can lose their bitcoins, in the future we have to be more careful with people we just know such as not giving our passwords or their passwords to that person because this will be very easy to hack, let alone there are so many people who are not responsible for our account, this is a step that we must be aware of for the future

That's a good point.. I don't remember posting this point in one of mine... Newbies usually choose the wallet that is shown in ads either on Google, Facebook or on websites such as Coinmarketcap.

And from there those users pick their wallet and usually end up getting scammed after depositing to the address shown in that wallet.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot vs Video Poker on: September 22, 2021, 06:35:47 PM
I have played slots but never really tried video poker yet, But some live poker bets Online, don't know if that counts as Video poker.
Slots are just press and results whereas the Poker I played Had multiple inputs on whether to continue to make 2nd bet or in River.

So it's up to the user to decide what they prefer.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: September 22, 2021, 03:02:55 PM
Well they call it the Big Finance. Bankers and Financial experts who are still tied to the old school way and see Bitcoin as a threat to their power. I don't know their real motives though. We all saw that non-bankers somehow made news that made Bitcoin price so low, they bought lots of it, then made some hype to increase the price, and possibly sold their assets at a profit. Big profit that is. So if you think of it there might be attempts to make the price lower so that they can also enter the market.

I have said this previously, Those people in power right now don't want their traditional ways to be changed so they will do everything in their power not to change their present methods even if that means banning bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies.

Mostly because they're comfortable in old ways.
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale moved $2bn in bitcoin 540 times in a short time frame on: September 21, 2021, 11:46:46 PM
There could be many reasons if the owner of that BTC address(s) did that most commonly as the first user said "Mixing service"

But just because someone is moving their funds that way doesn't really mean that they're doing something illegal.
It could be a way for them to avoid attention on their trades.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: September 21, 2021, 09:15:52 PM
I wouldn’t say it’s better because fiat has its own benefits and anonymity.
-Fiat is good if you don’t want to rely on the internet
-Crypto is better if you despise the banking system and the idea of infinite fiat to be printed (This is ofc belief-based)

However, they both can work hand to hand with one another.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: September 21, 2021, 09:07:22 PM
The first thing I want to say is that I’m tying from phone otherwise I would have quoted properly 😅
The ruling class wants to ban bitcoin because it doesn’t like the idea of their power being changed or challenged.
I don’t think there are any negative effects of using crypto but there are regulation issues if you want it as a world currency.
The harm bitcoin does is to classic banking systems and taxes of the government.
987  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: September 21, 2021, 09:02:36 PM
I do remember some advice on how to not pay taxes on your account, And if I remember correctly then you have to create a bank account with a special account "I forgot the name of that", It's linked to a business account and you're using that account to store most of your money which has to pay fewer taxes.
In the end, you can expand your business by saving more than 5% on taxes compared to classic accounts.
988  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC lottery - the International at 1xBit! + 1 mBTC prediction contest on: September 18, 2021, 09:27:57 PM
...

I checked some matches and found there had been 3-0 scores but most likely they're Best of 5, made my prediction anyways.
989  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC lottery - the International at 1xBit! + 1 mBTC prediction contest on: September 18, 2021, 08:22:41 PM
So if there's going to be the third game then I'll take the following.

0-3
990  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 1 BTC lottery - the International at 1xBit! + 1 mBTC prediction contest on: September 18, 2021, 12:27:36 AM
Can someone tell me how many [Best of] this game has.
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: September 16, 2021, 09:53:27 PM
In order to provide effective solutions to these problems, one must have a high understanding of the underlying core factors. To achieve this understanding, training in economics, specifically microeconomics and macroeconomics, is required.
Not everyone can do this though, not everyone has the skill or the will to be an economist so I don't think that what you're saying is a realistic one since there's no way that everyone can be an economists, what they ought to know is how the supply and demand works and they're good to go.

It's not about if everyone can do this or not, But the option of opting for economics should be given to the students, they should know about taxes and other financial related stuff.
If they don't then it's likely that at some point someone will take advantage of them now knowing a thing or two about economics and how it works.

In other words, you don't know about financial stuff then you're at the mercy of people who know how to bend the things around that field.
992  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: September 16, 2021, 09:47:00 PM
I get the OP's idea about how the pandemic has given positive and negative effects to the world, economy-wise, not every country has the same state, it sucks to live in a third world country knowing the economy is already not looking good making it even worse because of COVID, nurses and doctors would have to work overtime almoat everyday, students and teachers would have to adapt right away with the online setup, it wasn't really that positive unless we'd think about it in a positive way and ignore the fact on how big the damage was actually, and also, not every country are experiencing the same, some are already making progress and some are really in shambles, just like in my own country.

Well, Disregarding the planning behind this covid it really has damaged a lot economy wise in the whole world (Whether there be real covid or not) I don't get out of my house very often, Not because I'm afraid of getting Covid but recently there's some fuss happening in my city.

Nvm that, I don't think things are going to improve but will only get worse for humans and good for Parma Companies.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoin skills on: September 16, 2021, 09:17:43 PM
The title should be how to make bitcoin without buying it.

Anyways, I don't think you need Basic bitcoin skills there are people who started using bitcoin and they built their experience bar through that, There are various articles as to what Double-Spend, etc is, Articles about not product till your Bitcoin Payment has received at least 1 confirmations, There are 3 in some cases but 1 is Primary.

Also, You'll learn about bitcoin the first time you use the wallet and send to an address.
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar supporters destroy Bitcoin ATM in El Salvador on: September 16, 2021, 09:09:08 PM
Most likely it was planned by banks, paid supporters of the US dollar, I think it's a joke.

Banks for obvious reason can't do much about bitcoin now so they are using other mechanisms to get rid of Bitcoin but it isn't going to work, Cryptocurrencies are now widespread and there should be at least 50% of the total people that use banks also use bitcoin in some way or another and seeing this number rise is their fear.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: September 16, 2021, 06:52:28 PM
If gambling was a guaranteed winning business most gambling companies would have folder long ago. Have you taken your time to consider how the get the funds to pay their winners. The arithmetic is quite simple. They take from lost games to pay games won and the percentage of winning to losses is always high which helps them maintain their business

Well, the success of the gambling business lies in who's gambling and who's providing the tools to gamble and who's testing their luck, and who's proving them to test their luck on.

Now the main reason for the gambling model to succeed lies in Users testing their luck and human nature is once they find success in something they do it again and again.
And once that happens users maybe win once or twice but they'll develop this habit of gambling which will be hard to get rid of.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: G A M B L E R S ❗❗ What are your thoughts on this? on: September 16, 2021, 06:45:56 PM
As someone who has prior experience betting against the house, I can comfortably say that I choose option "B". The odds of the house are just too huge for me to risk an amount. Though while I do understand that most people would prefer to bet against the house due to its convenience, I would still choose option "B" for the fact that the diversity it offers are unparalleled.

But if I do not have the luxury of waiting, I would in a heart beat, choose option A due to its convenience and simple mechanic.

Exactly, that's what i said.

For most reasons and One of them being that betting against a house is easy and they don't need any waiting time for the bet to begin.
There are also many drawbacks to this one of them being that if the house is faking the amount they can afford for the best and making users go on and on with their bets and eventually winning against the player, There were some casinos that did this but I cannot remember their name atm.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: September 15, 2021, 11:19:44 PM
Well, the question is how can we purchase the bitcoin without the fiat? how can we do exchange or trade?. Fiat can never be disappeared from the world it's still vital for us.
We can not pay $2 of the exchange charge for each Coffee we purchase.

We need both fiat and bitcoins, fiat can survive without bitcoins because legislatures and banks are taking care of it, where bitcoins can never get by without fiat.
There's nobody behind the bitcoin so disappearing the fiat will be a moronic thought
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with Dogecoin faucets? on: September 15, 2021, 11:11:28 PM
Agreeable with what you said it's much easier to buy DOGE at an exchange rather than accepting that amount which is extremely low.
Also, you can make much more trading if you have a good experience of it rather than wasting time on faucets.
Time is money! and it's better spent wisely.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: G A M B L E R S ❗❗ What are your thoughts on this? on: September 15, 2021, 10:24:59 PM
I am not against any of those till they are fair and square.
There are many Casino A in the market right now and because of their demand,

In Casino B there are many limitations, For example, Player A wants to bet 1 BTC but there is no opposition that can afford this bet so the game in Casino B will not start.
Where as Casino A will not have this problem.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ? on: September 15, 2021, 09:59:19 PM
I am new to bitcoin and come from a third world country. One of my friend told me a company came telling all to invest 150 USD in an scheme and then they can earn daily about 6-7 USD regularly by watching ads for the rest of their life. My friend earned 6-7 USD everyday by watching an ad of 8 minutes. He got paid instantly and also told me about the Binance mobile app. This worked for almost 1.5 months. Then the company disappeared. Those who invested lately couldnt get their money. I want to know how this process works. How is this related to bitcoin and how can one earn just by watching ads ?

Yes, I've heard of some similar websites but was bored of them after a couple of days and ended up learning a course and doing some management work for making money.

I'd say investing into that scheme that your friend is suggesting is pointless unless the work you're putting for the time you're investing into it is worth it, You better be the judge of it.
