2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does this Bridge make a profit exactly? on: June 07, 2024, 11:30:10 AM
Found a bridge called Synapse. I put in my details about which chain to use and to what destination chain. It was only $2.5 cost. I was like wow, amazing. I assumed it would be $2.5 plus some other gas fees.
Wow this is an L1 to L2 right? It seems you manage to brudge during a very low gas fee plus that bridge is wow on operating at a lower fees. Its quite unusual for a bridge to charge little compared to what was the actual cost but thats how they wanna entice users by offering lowered fees. Somehow they will get it back from other product or maybe impose an increase later on.

With too many bridge services out there, one must have a standout offer so customer would use them than others. I guess this is their strategy.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 07, 2024, 05:46:26 AM
But there could be gamblers, not saying that they are addicts already, but they risk big money=big reward, simply as that. For me I once do a max bet on my favorite slot machine and it really give me a huge payout, not a bonus or something but just regular spin, a $10 per spin goes to $4000 win so that is a huge profits on my end.
Wow this is kinda profit that you will be shockef when you won on a slot. Then you cash out this money mate? Or still play using this money again.

While I dont have yet an interesting gambling story to tell. I myself made some pretty decent gain on roobet site before, not much but I remembered I won like $500 from betting less than $0.5 per game on their one of their classic game. Forgot which one but its on the rocket thingy. I remember my budget was like $20 or $30.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is going to place a bet on the Stanley Cup 2024? on: June 07, 2024, 04:28:07 AM
You know what that's a great question m8, i'm not exactly sure. The only crypto gambling I do on hockey is going to be with a buddy off forum who likes to wager bitcoin with me and he happens to be an oilers fan so it just panned out for me in this instance I guess lol. But that still remains to be seen, I will try to find out for you!
Oh a gambling with friends. We used to that too and bet on such teams but not on hockey but Basketball. Well thats great to know, who knows maybe we have some hockey fans here and looking for some platform to bet on. Ive just asked cause If ever I do gambling I prefer to use a crypto platform to do my bids. Ping me if you found any. Thanks mate.
5  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Mga Exchange na merong P2p papuntang Gcash at Maya apps on: June 07, 2024, 02:39:41 AM
Isa din kasi yan sa dapat maconsider, hindi lang kasi lahat eh kumikita meron din kasi or mas mainam na sabihin na mas marami ang nalulugi or nasscam na ang gamit ay crypto kaya kung babalansehin natin malamang sa malamang negative talaga yung magiging tingin ng gobyerno natin, not unless bubusisiin talaga nila or kung dahil sa pagbusisi nila eh nakita nilang wala silang chance makapag nakaw or maka collekta kaya ganun na lang talaga yung paghihigpit kuno nila sa crypto.
Yan din di rin lahat dapat tax based nila since yung iba eh mas talo pa kaysa kumita. How come they are gonna impose tax sa ganung sitwasyon din diba. Crypto is quite risky and theres a lot of chance na imbis kumita eh mas matalo pa or worse masunog talaga ang pera dahil sa mga rug na nasasalihan ng mga pinoy.

Hindi ko rin alam pano to fix yung ganitong sitwasyon sobrang ang gulo pa talaga hirap balansehin on both sides at magkita sa gitna.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid becoming the next victim on: June 07, 2024, 01:36:11 AM
A lesson you should learn from this is do not claim ownership of something that's not yours, in this crypto space nothing is for free.

Follow this procedure.

1. DONT TOUCH
2. DONT CLAIM
3. DONT EVEN ATTEMPT 1 & 2 RULES ABOVE.
If its free its worth claiming for mate. Its just that you should study first the project you are claiming for. Even its not a ton project or any other projects, free nft is good and likely to cla by everyone why you shouldnt? Only those who are joining on scam projects would be scare to get a free nft. I see that you warn others about free. Why would you claim something you knew you didnt join right? Thats something shady and must avoid. But if you able to get some for free then thats good for you. Its just a matter of due diligence.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can transaction be signed from hackers wallet? on: June 06, 2024, 05:34:38 AM
Many risks and malicious things can steal cryptocurrency stored in hot wallets on online devices.

People who visit, use many websites and interact with many smart contracts especially ones from new projects must be more cautious and careful with potential risks on their funds.

Revoke smart contracts is one of prevention methods.
Yes I know. Thats why I told OP that it is possible egen without knowing his private key based on my explanation. I think I am using revoke cash daily as part of my prevention as I am actively using my metamask everyday for the task Im doing on altcoins. So I knew these scam attempts but what he is asking too many victim of that method even some of my colleague who didnt take caution. Even though their private key is intact.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ionet Ignition Progam Airdrop Campaign on: June 06, 2024, 05:21:50 AM
Are the airdrops shared by Op still active? I would like to join if this program is not over yet, the coin looks good and has potential.

Maybe this time I will experience getting earnings from airdrops and this is also my first time in case there is a good rally in its price in the market. I hope I'm not too late.
It was ended mate. But theres a good news came out today from the one I shared. Check this out.

https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/6556e3b5aae54c76adb0fd267b105a15

Binance launchpool will cater Ionet.

If you wanna join some potential projects early like this one please refer to this post.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can transaction be signed from hackers wallet? on: June 06, 2024, 03:42:16 AM
What can you say about this kind of issue.
The owner of the wallet said he only used pumpdotfun and Jupiter. And he never connect his wallet to any other DEX apart from that. Means someone got his private key either buy spyware of anything?
Im not an astrologer mate to guess possible scenario with that. If he does not connect to other then might be the issue with the 2 dapps you mentioned. But how sure you are that he isnt linked with some sites. Maybe he thought he didnt go to some malicious sites or thought of a safe one but actually it isnt safe one.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is going to place a bet on the Stanley Cup 2024? on: June 06, 2024, 02:11:44 AM
It seems hockey will be a good sports betting event. Not really fan of Hockey too since Im on asian countries which mostly supported betting event on basketball and maybe soccer. Btw what platform does hockey games can bet online on this which related to crypto and what assets supported mate?
11  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Binance Launchpad Thread on: June 05, 2024, 09:46:15 AM
Sobrang tagal lang talaga ng locked in period although long term naman BNB ko. 30 days, 60, 90 at 120 days so parang time deposit na rin.

Meron ongoing ngayon, named Lista. Anong number of days ba sayo kabayan?
Yes paps, disregard mo lang yung days of locked since puwede mo naman siya unstake anytime with 48hrs of unlock time. Ang downside neto is yung mga kinita sa locked ng bnb eh hindi mo makuha or maforfeit siya pero makuha mo din bnb mo after 48hrs.

Sakin 120days nilock ko for higher points. Risky lang kasi diba may ongoing potential ban sa app ng binance pero tingin ko naman may warning to in case mangyari na.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Messed up with my Notcoin on: June 05, 2024, 07:49:23 AM
Thats alright mate some are able to sold early too not only you plus its a free money I think dont let yourself down. I made decent amount doing this during the 2nd day of their launch. Ive seen some signs that this will be huge so Id make some effort doing the tap tap whenever I had free time and its not hassle anyway.

But since many got out like copy cat of notcoin I am not doing some of them cause we knew that copy cat normally doesnt end up like the first one.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are L3s worth it? on: June 05, 2024, 06:29:37 AM
Do you think L3 networks are necessary? If not, why? Do you think they're overhyped? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.  Smiley
Depends on the market mate. From the last bull run like  2020 the users increases until now. So there would be massive growth on users, in the future and I already uses L3 network and somehow they are efficient but not yet massively used compared to famous l2 like arbitrum and optimism. Plus there are more coming L2s, so I think its just an upgrade of L2s, some could say money grabs but yeah for sure some are for that but there are serious projects too build on L3 that solves such problem on the previous ones. So I think its better that we anticipated already the potential use later on at least everyone is ready when the time comes.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can transaction be signed from hackers wallet? on: June 05, 2024, 04:21:40 AM
They never can do that if they don't have private keys of your wallet.
I think they can when the victim happened to be lured on a malicious website so that their smart contract can do the stealing while running their program.

metamask had warn users on this case anyway.

https://support.metamask.io/privacy-and-security/staying-safe-in-web3/fake-mining-voucher-scams/

Maybe for bitcoin it isnt. But surely OP is probably  talking about altcoins or metamask wallet containing alts not bitcoin by his word "malicious smart contract" which happened not present on bitcoin. Also based on his mentioned project like pumpdotfun (solana) and uniswap (eth network).
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 05, 2024, 04:04:45 AM
I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
But there are also people who are wealthy and got broke due gambling isnt it. Its not that its wrong to be addicted, but there are people who do gambling but still able to control and discipline themselves. We all knew it is addicted and once you are hook you can never go out. Its a mind pscyhology for me that needs a 100% focus on.

Some of us can eventually control it but certain time will come that you cant since you knew in yourself that it dragged you already to a non stop cycle of it.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can transaction be signed from hackers wallet? on: June 05, 2024, 02:45:18 AM
Is it possible for someone to initiate a transaction from their wallet to transfer funds out of another wallet, without having access to the private key or seed phrase associated with that wallet? If so, could this unauthorized access be a result of interacting with a malicious smart contract address?
I think it happened on some malicious links where you click some link and put a signature on the front end of the fake site making you signed a transaction.

Normally this is the gig of the scammers.

Also, is it possible that purchasing tokens from decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, Jupiter, PumpDotFun, or others, could facilitate such unauthorized access to one's wallet or just the coins related with the DEX or contract address interacted with. ?
Just the coin related that interacted with only if you allow the transaction on your wallet. Its like youre given them permission to like how much max token to be allowed to move from that signed transactions. But youll know if the contract is safe or malicious cause some wallets notify its not safe or has info commented before you signed any transactions.
17  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Mga Exchange na merong P2p papuntang Gcash at Maya apps on: June 04, 2024, 08:19:57 PM
Thats because they cant make tax out of it. Ganun lang naman why Government is so negative about crypto they arent wrong anything that gain profits should be taxed.

Ita always two way downtown kaya mahirap talaga sa part nila iopen up sa crypto basta basta.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true? on: June 04, 2024, 11:13:18 AM
Currently, there's a pattern. A person makes a new account in BitcoinTalk, makes a topic/accuses a casino of scamming him/her, and because some users need to bump up their post count for their signature campaigns, the topic gets more attention than it should be during a normal situation.
Well they cant use their main account cause it was engage on signature campaign which could tremble their feedback with red if they turn out to be wrong on the accusation. Most complainers are newbies and new account means they probably have main account.

Too bad that some commenters are swayed sometimes especially if the accusation doesnt have any basis or clear fact at all to back their rhymes. Worse is the casino being in danger of fud and fear to some potential users.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Disadvantages of bitcoins on: June 04, 2024, 10:22:13 AM
Examining the challenges bitcoin faces including scalability issues, price volatility, and environmental concerns relating to mining
There are no perfect ecosystem on blockchain. Some will have cons as well but it doesnt mean it is called a "disadvantage" maybe we can revise that to flaws which can be amend or improved under different circumastances. Price volatility isnt alone on bitcoin but everything on crypto even stablecoin have their down throat sometime. Scalability still in progress and being improved at the moment. Like the one said above, the introduction of lightning network helps it.
20  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Mga Exchange na merong P2p papuntang Gcash at Maya apps on: June 04, 2024, 09:02:33 AM

Based aa mga nabasa ko and your explanation tama ka kabayan. Its the merchant registered using gcash as sender and receiver. As far as I know hindi affiliated nga ni Binance ang gcash pero since its a remittance platform ng Pinas na ginagamit ng most merchants for p2p including others eh they are using products from the Phil. Mahirap lang talaga if crypto related medyo negative sa ating Government and finance sectors.
