1  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: October 18, 2012, 10:59:45 PM
So, for anyone reading this who has gotten a double payment, the return address is 1BgPRMk4uaJrohM1T9Cn4Hd9pHaEL6FH5j

It would be better to return the coins without me having to chase you for them.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE adds yubikey support on: September 26, 2012, 08:06:56 AM
Can you have both google auth and yubikey at the same time ?

No, but why would you want to?

3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE adds yubikey support on: September 26, 2012, 07:30:25 AM
this is great.

I hope you enjoy it. I'm only sorry it took so long to add this feature.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / GLBSE adds yubikey support on: September 26, 2012, 06:28:37 AM
Yubikeys have been added as a method of two factor authentication.

Currently supported are standard yubikeys (ordered from Yubico).

We will add support for MtGox Yubikeys once I get the key in the post.

If you are using GLBSE and have a Yubikey, I advise enabling two factor authentication for everything.

Exactly, what other exchanges.
8  Economy / Securities / Re: TYGRR.* assets on GLBSE delisted. on: September 25, 2012, 05:21:38 PM
Phrases in contracts like "in case GLBSE is no longer a viable platform" etc seemed to me overcautious... how ingenuous I am.

Cryptostocks seems nice, but, does anyone know if they are any more reliable?

I've spoken to cryptostocks, asking about enabling a method for assets to move from GLBSE easily to there,  he had no interest.

You're the bottom of the barrel, of course not.  People look up from where you are, not down.

Have you looked at whats on cryptostocks?
9  Economy / Securities / Re: Done with GLBSE on: September 25, 2012, 04:42:49 PM

I do not agree to your proposal.

Then you're asset holders should push to have you prosecuted for fraud.

You have a fiduciary duty to your asset holders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiduciary_duty

And you have been given all the information needed to carry that duty out.

Why do you link to wikipedia?  You should know the original sources if you hope to continue in your current business.

Next, you'll be citing episodes of Matlock.

Because it's a good explanation of what fiduciary duty is, whats your point?

Not a wise decision. Networking would not be a bad idea. Have asked the other  exchanges?

What other exchanges?

You probably have a notepad available, alongside the email. This is enough for you to create a ledger.
All you lost was the convenience of an automated system.
And of course, itll be a shitload more work to operate now, as you need to build a relationship with each shareholder.

None the less, shareholders have a way to identify themselves to you, and you have a way to identify their holdings.
Good enough.

Your situation sucks, but playing it off like you can not do a thing without the GLBSE is laughable.

I would need to confirm with Nefario that they did once have the assets. I would hate for the codes to be passed around and people claiming double and triple. I'm sure Nefario would find this reasonable.

It's very easy, it's like an MtGox code, once someone gives it to you, you cross the code off your list, it has now been redeemed.

And if someone wants to use it twice? You will cover for the extra I hope?

Why would you let someone use it twice?

Stop pretending to be so clueless.
13  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-A 1MHS PPS perpetual bonds. on: September 25, 2012, 03:42:13 PM

What's up with this, it is marked as delisted on GLBSE and I see a strange claims code in my portfolio?

Nefario voided the asset. We are not really sure why.

The asset has not been voided. It has been delisted from GLBSE.

Goat is still under obligation to fulfill his contract with the asset holder

To claim your asset, contact Goat and give him your claim code, he has a list of all codes and how many of the asset they hold.

I have explained in numerous threads why this has been delisted.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: September 25, 2012, 03:39:49 PM
We can no longer access any of the so called "black market" bonds including PPT.A
so now we can't even sell to the 0.32 wall....  it was 0.32 insured  - where is the insurance now?

Had a chat to Nefario - seems to be a sensible precaution for the time being.  If you needed to redeem the insurance option that should still be possible, but you would need to contact me directly.

Just as an update - I have done an insurance payment today for someone so the system still works.

To be clear, we can't list PPT assets anymore, they are still on our books, and in your accounts, but cannot be put on the market.

If we allowed this it would put us in compromised position.
So how do I get my 0.32 per share  from PatrickHarnett if the shares are not listed any more?
BTW, thanks for the warning... oops, there was none!
One cluster fuck after another. Damn.

You still have the assets in your account, if patrick wants to make another payment, he can do so, and you will receive it.
15  Economy / Securities / Re: Done with GLBSE on: September 25, 2012, 03:38:24 PM
This has gone too far.

I am selling everything I have there, moving out all of my BTC, and never trading there again.

The owner of the platform acts vindictively and hot-headed, freezes accounts/issues of anyone he doesn't agree with, and has basically placed hundreds if not thousands of his customer's BTC in limbo.

Death-knell. I predict crickets over there.

You know that your BTC are held by the asset issuer if you bought shares , right?

If the asset issuer had his account shut down by Nefario no, the asset issuer does not hold the BTC. Nefario has the BTC.

You are saying there are people who leave BTC on GLBSE lying around instead of investing or saving according to their contracts?  For other reasons than investing, paying dividends or buybacks there is no need to hold BTC there. Goat , does Nefario hold some of your Assets BTC ? Is he clearly (mind you) intending to not give them back?

at this time it seems that I can not get them back unless I agree to my account being shut down and my assets delisted. I do not consent to that so I do not know how I can get my coins back Sad

You've been given all the details you need to continue operating without GLBSE.

I've also asked you for a BTC address to send the remaining balance in your accounts to you.

18  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] [WAHMINE] Setting up IPO Looking for input on: September 25, 2012, 07:00:04 AM
You might try hiring someone to help you write the contract.

ColdHardMetal has said on the forums that he's willing to do so, and he's quite good.
19  Economy / Securities / Re: TYGRR.* assets on GLBSE delisted. on: September 25, 2012, 06:58:54 AM
My obligation was with GLBSE. What happens if I pay back 50% and then GLBSE relists my assets like nothing happened? Then I'm really screwed as I owe them all again..

Why would glbse relist your assets ?

Wasn't your obligation to your asset holders not GLBSE?

What about GLBSE's Nefario's obligation, theyhe acts as the middle man, an asset issuer can't even get any data about who holds the asset.  Apparently GLBSENefario gets to fuck the issuers, then fuck the shareholders all while sitting in the middle with no liability, here's your secret code list, everything is all roses now.  If GLBSENefario is going to act like this, then theyhe need to get out from the middle of the shareholder-asset issuer relationship.  The asset issuer needs to know the usernames, withdraw addresses, number of shares owned of the shareholders.  Otherwise GLBSENefario DOES HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO THE SHAREHOLDERS AND THE ISSUERS.  One that is greater then, oh well weI quit, here's your secret code list.

You're very much mistaken.

Goat has been give a list of accounts with their balance, all an asset holder needs do is go to goat and give him their code.

We nolonger have any obligation to goat.
20  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Got off the phone with the Guy from the S.E.C on: September 25, 2012, 06:35:10 AM

Did GLBSE ever verify the identity of Pirate40 ?

Why would we verify pirate40? He never listed listed anything on GLBSE. How are we supposed to verify people who don't even use our platform?

So why was GLBSE brought up in this topic ?

Same reason BFL was, the guy mentioned us in passing when asking about pirate.

This SEC guy is sneaky

Maybe I should go down and meet him. Not sure if its a good idea.

What do you think ?

Why not, maybe he just likes bitcoins.
