Is it safe to remove my private and public keys from 1.0? There is no reason we would need it if we already migrated our GLBSE 1.0 account to GLBSE 2.0, is that correct?
Hold onto it for the moment, I'd say until we retired GLBSE 1.0 completely.

I haven't read the entire thread, so my apologies if this has already been discussed.
But it would be cool if your portfolio showed all unrealized gains/losses in securities. Basically, implementing as many features as you might find in TD Ameritrade would be cool.
Big fan of GLBSE 2.0. I remember reading in a different thread somewhere that you had to sacrifice anonymity for simplicity of use in GLBSE 2.0. Is this true and will complete anonymity ever be an option in the future again, so that one can choose anonymity or simplicity?
Keep up the good work!
2.0 just requires a working email address, how anonymous you want to be is up to yourself.

Hmmm, I actually didn't notice that it didn't carry over to the new DNS service. And the fact that besides yourself brendio no one else did shows that it's pretty much dead/failed as a service, concept.

GLBSE has had a lot of performance enhancements over the last week and is able to handle the current load without issue(this includes the PPT auction).
us.glbse.com and glbse.com are the same now, having a browser open on each won't make any difference.
Further performance improvements are on the way.
Long story short I expect this auction to go smoothly without any issues or downtime.

sorry for the bump but whatever happened to agorist radio? I really miss it.
The operator has been really busy with AFK things, thats pretty much it really.

Added the option of two factor auth for GLBSE logins.
|
|
|
2factor auth is now available for logins. For those who don't have a smartphone (or are too lazy to use theirs) here is a simple ruby script that does the same. http://pastie.org/3923747Install ruby then save the text to a file (in this case lets say 2fact.rb) execute Should spit out the correct code. You probably want to do this in Linux (I don't really know how to do it in windows), and you need to have your systems time very accurate.
|
|
|
It would be nice if auth could be disabled (only after authentication). I hate to think what would happen if you lose your phone..
You can disable it, make sure all the boxes are NOT ticked and enter the code, and then it's off. Wait, you need to own a smartphone and install an app to use dual auth?
Glad I didn't enable that, I would have locked myself out. I don't own a smartphone.
You need to have it working on your smart phone just to enable it, you can't do it by accident.

Shakaru finally gets what he deserves, only thing is I highly doubt he has any money at all.
Well it would seem that any funds he has for the near future are going to be tied up with medical costs. Also I think this is the first case of bitcoin justice..if you can call it that (whats a more correct word).

Full account history in CSV is now live.
It's a link at the top of your portfolio.
So ... I just downloaded my history, and I have a couple of remarks: I have a transfer_to of X shares in my list. The amount of shares transferred shows up as 0.00000X in the 'amount' column instead of showing up as X in the column 'quantity'. Second, I'm addind up amounts and ... things don't seem to add up. My script might be wrong, and I will double check some more, but I suspect the info is either incorrect or incomplete. Oooops, fixed that typo on the transfer_to/from part. Records are complete, everything you see is what you would have seen in the older system where all history was shown on the portfolio page. It's the same queries.

Maybe some kind of RSS feed for each stocks new trades and new orders would be good?
There is the twitter feed which shows all trades, have a look at the API page.

I've got GLBSE 1.0 history too, but it's not a part of that, will be adding it later today.

Just tried to log in then it came to the screen asking for the captcha, I thought that is odd since chrome auto fills it for me. Then I failed the captcha but it didn't give any error, the first thing I think: Oh fuck I've been hacked, oh shit fuck shit, then I send reset email, finally I get captcha correct.
Now I added two factor authentication, and I logged out to test it, now it doesn't even ask me for a captcha or the authentication code to log in :s
It said that I enabled it, yet in the settings the options for two factor auth stay empty, it would be nice if that kept the current values from the database and the green enable button turned to a red disable button.
Two-factor auth for login is coming later today, the two-factor page will also be updated to be more informative.

a minor issue with the contract on GLBSE, should be back on GLBSE soon.
Contract updated, GREEN asset and IPO listed.

https://openshift.redhat.com/app/The source is all there, the stack is opensource, now can we get a cloud computing service that we can pay for with bitcoin? This is exactly the sort of thing someone would go to GLBSE to get funding for. Don't tell me there aren't a couple of sys-admins that want to make a killing on a new service like this? It doesn't even have to be bitcoin only.

You should read the Intersango.com Terms of Service, they make it very clear what protections are in place.
