1  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Bitcoin – marca registrada en España - ya no ... on: May 23, 2024, 05:05:03 PM
...

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Friendship on: May 23, 2024, 03:52:27 PM
Jason kept his work a secret because there are restrictions on Bitcoin transactions in our country.

That's a nice story, I'm glad it had a happy end, but tell us more about this point, what do you mean by the restrictions on Bitcoin transactions, those transactions happen on internet, and not in your country, so that point isn't clear at all for me. If bitcoin is illegal in your country, then you should be careful with it, because that can send you and your friends to jail, so, play it smart and don't make noise about it.

By the way, what would happen if some of those friends goes to the police and tell them that you are holding bitcoin?
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 23, 2024, 03:24:07 PM
This Video Poker mentioned in this thread should be referring to the one on Stake.com which is available for everyone who is not resident in the US.

I am thinking the OP should have indicated it in the topic to remove this confusion.

With the image i posted there shouldn't be any confusion, i mean, it's clear in that image that we are not talking about the video poker, and in the title i mention the freerolls.

Some of the US users are confused too because poker was on their platform from the past year, but for the rest of the world this is totally new.

I already played a couple of freerolls but is hard to get in the money when more than 2500 users are playing it. But i will keep trying, at least is free to try. And after asking to support, looks like any user can join for now, even new users, I'm sure that will change in the future, but now feel free to join.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End of Bitcoin on: May 22, 2024, 07:41:33 PM
So in other topics here, guys are saying, that if we have public key for puzzle 66 going public, then in few seconds we can track private key for that public key (bsgs, kangaroo) and take over the transaction making own one and moving the amount to our address.

Now think for a moment: you can do that with any transaction that is in mempool and has made public key public. It is only time matter when there will be massive take over of transactions.

PS. Let the shitstorm begin!

If it would be that easy, then someone would already do it.

The only way to get the private key from the public key is by brute force, and as we know, to brute-force bitcoin addresses is a waste of time, there are better odds of finding a wallet on the street than finding a private key.

So, nothing to worry about.

I was looking at stake when i realized they just added poker to the site
I have just registered on Stake not quite long but when I saw your post, I searched for poker on Stake and I saw other ones which are not called Stake Poker. I saw video poker stake originals, video poker live evolution, poker live evolution, three card poker live evolution,Caribbean stud poker live evolution, texas hold'em bonus poker live evolution. If I understood you correctly, you are referring to Stake poker? I do not think Poker is new on Stake.

I'm talking about Texas Hold'em on the site, not a 3rd party game, you can see the game in the next link: https://stake.com/casino/games/poker

The support told me that users need tickets for the tournaments, but i just registered to a freeroll without tickets, maybe the tickets are for some special tournaments, or it's a feature that will be implemented in the future, something like "Win this tournament and get tickets for a bigger one".

The poker games were available before but only for the dot US site, but on the dot com is new, from what i know it wasn't there the past week.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 22, 2024, 06:27:39 PM
I was looking at stake when i realized they just added poker to the site, it only has freerolls for now but i feel like it's a great step because the community really needs some good poker sites with the right support to avoid collusion and multi accounts.

To register on the freerolls you need to be there 15 min. before the tournament start, and if you don't take your seat 2 minutes after the game starts then you will be kicked from the tournament, so, good luck to all.

I can't wait to see cash tables on the site, for sure is one of the next steps.
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is the exclusive stake.com bonus promoted on some sites legit? on: May 22, 2024, 05:45:24 PM
I have seen some sites advertise an exclusive bonus such as 200% up to $500 or even 200% up to $3000. Is this a legitimate bonus and why does Stake.com not have such a bonus? If so, when I play with this bonus, do the other reward programs that Stake offers to its players (weekly and monthly bonus, rakeback...) also count for me, or do I first have to fulfill the 40x requirement for the deposit bonus? Thanks in advance

The bonus is legit, but there is a trick, it has a roll-over, i don't know what's the exact number but you will have to wager the amount x times, it could be 40 times or 60, I'm not sure, so, if you depo $500, then you will have $1500 balance, and wager it x30 (just as an example, i don't know the exact number) then you will have to wager $45,000 to be able to get that bonus money. And different games have different wagering rules, is not the same to wager on house games than slots than sports. Be sure to read the Terms before taking any bonus.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 22, 2024, 03:27:20 PM
...
So some of my friends says such funds are free money so they are delighted dedicating it to be spent on gambling and when they lost it all, it would be easier to let go because they did not stress to get the money.
Meanwhile... This usually comes a huge amount of money beyond their normal gambling budgets.

To me, they can utilize these so called free money by adding it up to their Bitcoin portfolio or even used it to spend on necessary things instead of dedicating to lavish it on gambling.

But what if they win huge with that "Free" bankroll?

Maybe adding $50 to their portfolio doesn't make any difference for them, but imagine the scenario where they bet those $50 and end up with a $1000 profit on the casino, then they add those $1000 on cryptos to their portfolio and hold them.

I feel like there is nothing bad about what your friends are doing with those airdrops, if they play it smart then they can make some huge profit in the long run.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks against cryptocurrency? on: May 22, 2024, 03:04:25 AM
Part of the bitcoin slogan is "Be your own bank", and that's what doesn't like at all to the banks. The fact that people don't need them to hold big amounts of money is something that they are worried about.

The ones who control the money are the ones with power, and just think about all the people who die and the bank keeps their money, what a nice business for them... And the fact that if you take a loan from them they charge close to 80% but if you invest with them you only get 3% annually...

So, from that perspective banks need their users to have an economy dependency with them, and cryptocurrency cuts that dependency, that's why they don't like cryptos.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Judge Mellor's Judgement on Craig Wright (not) being Satoshi on: May 21, 2024, 08:40:46 PM
Will there be a punishment for CW for this? Or any economic sanctions?

Maybe the fact that legally he is not Satoshi Nakamoto is enough punishment, but after reading parts of the paper i couldn't find any information about what would happen now, i would expect a monetary sanction for his actions, but looks like there is no punishment this time.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC transfer by satellite with radio-waves system without internet on: May 21, 2024, 04:24:04 PM
If btc able to transfer in the future then altcoin also able to transfer without Depend on Internet with a satellite wave / radio system.
!!! BTCSatoshi NakamotoBTC once again think about a greatest technology with transfer system. May be we need it  near of future.

Bitcoin without internet is not possible because bitcoin is a protocol that runs un port 8333, to have a sync blockchain you need multiple computers connected, that way all of them have the same information. And the problem with radio waves is that not all radio stations will have the same information.

As you say, maybe making a new alt coin that only runs with radio waves would be a cool project, but i don't think this could be implemented directly to bitcoin.
13  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: BITCOIN HALVING 2024: Día, Hora y minutos en este post...sì, justamente. on: May 21, 2024, 03:41:54 PM

14  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 21, 2024, 03:25:09 PM
Unfortunately, I have only seen this thread now.

Is this solved?

I just reached out to BC and if it's not sorted, it will be sorted out by tomorrow.
Good to hear this bold positive statement.
That's efialtis for us, has got a lot of connection to the casinos here. But I think OP has got the problem with documents and its expirations.
Good to know that's what his capable of doing and have been doing.
Yea, OP has documentation and expiration problem and seems in his country they hardly use the passport for validation. It's always a KYC related problem when a document is locally accepted but not internationally accepted.

That's a nice act from efialtis, as always, helping the community with his connections with casinos. +1 for that.

But the problem is that OP has been away from the forum since 1 week ago, and there is no way to contact him, he doesn't have any contact link on his profile, so, we will have to wait until the next time he connects to the forum to help him. I don't doubt he is working hard now on his passport process.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC transfer by satellite with radio-waves system without internet on: May 21, 2024, 12:30:05 AM
Blockstream satellite is only able to transfer kit nodes on receive date but not transmit. What if cryptoradio (radio wave system) is included to transfer bitcoins from one wallet to another wallet?

( Walkie-talkies are similar to radio waves for transmitting and receiving audio wirelessly.)

I have read about the use of radio waves to send transaction in the past, and if we google about it we will find a lot of articles...

https://d-central.tech/bitcoin-beyond-boundaries-transmitting-through-radio-waves/
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2019/03/04/bitcoin-coders-send-international-lightning-payment-over-ham-radio/
https://news.bitcoin.com/no-internet-no-problem-how-to-send-bitcoin-by-amateur-radio/

But you are talking about radio waves sent from a satellite or to a satellite is an interesting concept, for a moment i thought this was hard because to propagate those waves we need a medium, but after some research, i learned that radio waves propagate at a speed of light in the empty space.

So, what you say are possible, but in some point those waves must get to a satellite with internet to broadcast the transaction in the blockchain.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best Wager Strategy? on: May 20, 2024, 06:44:56 PM
I have tried some different wagering strategies in order to level up in a casino but as we all know that startegy will only work when luck is also coming.

You have a good point here, Luck is a must, any strategy without luck will drain our balance fast, even if we can lose back to back on 98% chance of winning, in the long run, it will happen and with bad luck, it can happen in our first bets. But playing with the odds in our side or with a high chance to win is the right way to wager a lot of money.

once i was betting on 95% chance to win and i was with the idea that it was impossible to lose 5 consecutive times, until it happened and I lost all.
17  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: [Opinión] Cerrar batidoras y servicios de privacidad ayuda a los criminales on: May 20, 2024, 05:21:53 PM

18  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day - 10 Años on: May 20, 2024, 04:30:04 PM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have some old BTC wallet from 2013 on: May 20, 2024, 02:37:19 PM
So does anyone have any suggestion?

I'm really sorry about your friend, i know how hard it is.

About the wallet, maybe you could get the password from the web browser on his computer, as you know some people save their passwords on the web browsers (which is a damn terrible practice, but a lot of users do it), and maybe one of those passwords were used for the wallet too. That's what i would do, at least is a way to try to recover that wallet. I hope this information helps and i wish you good luck with the process.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best Wager Strategy? on: May 19, 2024, 11:07:49 PM
Something I have been messing around with lately is betting 1st 2nd and 3rd 12 in roulette. The only loss is if green comes, everything else is a break even. If I win say 15-20 bets in a row with no green, I'll wait to bet til a green comes. I wouldn't recommend this strat for long term, just short term to wager a quick 1k or something.

From all the answers on this thread you are the only one who shared a real strategy.

But betting on 1st, 2nd and 3rd would be the same as betting on Red and Black at the same time, that way the only number to lose is zero. But I like your method, It feels secure for an all-in. But another fact here is the betting speed, on dice we can do some turbo betting while roulette takes some time for each round.
