Maybe you could try with some old Antminer S9 miners. If you want to chase a jackpot those ones are a good option, I just saw a seller in my local market who offers 10 units for $1,790, maybe you could buy 5 units and make solo mining in the pools that allow solo.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea because there is the chance that you never hit a block and you will have to pay that 1100W energy consumption from the miner for life, that isn't cheap at all.

Incluso se me ocurre que podría ser un trabajo interno, para los que usamos esa cartera sabemos que tiene actualizaciones muy seguido, y al ser codigo cerrado tal vez una de las versiones tenía un malware or enviava la información privada a X servidor, para despues corregir esto en las siguientes versiones. El punto y el miedo principal es: ¿Como estamos seguros de que el atacante no dejo la puerta de atrás abierta? Nada nos garantiza que no volverá a pasar. |

Thanks for all your answers guys, i'm not surprised to see a lot of you calling BTT the number one site, and I didn't expect to see multiple users calling Twitter (Now X) as their #1. And it has since because all the whales and influencers use that platform to bump, dump, and announce anything related to cryptos.
And as you guys mention, maybe the question is not clear enough, it should be the best bitcoin-related site, but some of you would keep asking "Best sites in terms of what?", The question is really general, but i really enjoy this morning drinking my coffee and reading all your answers.

Imagine you have to select a website for the best Bitcoin site today, is a tricky question and I know a lot of people would say BitcoinTalk is the number one, I mean, this forum is a legend. But we have some hard competitors like the blockchain web page, the fact that you can track transactions and addresses is awesome. After 9 years in this crazy crypto world, I have seen some crazy stuff, markets, on-chain casinos, coin mixers. Those guys use the cryptos in a crazy way, and for some people, these ones could be considered the best sites. But from my point of view, the Bitcoin website that most impressed me without doubts is Secret Scan. They have a calculator where you can get the value on each step of address encryption from Hex keys to uncompressed addresses, and some other tools. ( https://secretscan.org/PrivateKeyHex), A tool like this is not secure with sensitive data, but is awesome for educational proposes and understanding the Bitcoin addresses step by step. There is not a big deal in the math behind that or any other casino games, since the site has a house edge they will always win for the long run, and there is no way to win against it because the numbers are on the house side. You can think about it like flipping a coin, and each time you lose then you lose $10 and each time to win you win $9, since the statistics say you will win 50% of the times in the long run that profit difference is that wan that doesn't allow you to win for the long run.

El echo de que se esté impartiendo este diplomado en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León no indica realmente que el diplomado esté dominando en México, Me gustaría verlo en otras universidades con mayor impacto como el Politécnico, La UNAM o el ITAM. Estas son universidades grandes y con mucho prestigio, incluso han sido ejemplos a seguir para las otras universidades autónomas. Y otro punto a aclarar es que los diplomados en México se estudian como un método de titulación en la carrera, o por lo menos el 95% de los que se meten a un diplomado es con esta intención, recuerdo que con mis compañeros le llamábamos a esto "Titularnos por horas nalga" ya que solo teníamos que asistir un semestre y al final nos daban el título de la licenciatura que estudiamos. Y para culminar me gustaría hacer énfasis en que los diplomados no son baratos. El que yo estudie hace unos años para titularme me costó $700 dolares. |

Creo que en un caso como estos no estamos viendo el verdadero peligro, ya se que €20k es una cifra considerable, pero que tal que los atacantes utilizan mas de 2 neuronas y se dan cuenta que con ese cajero pueden comprar cryptos de forma ilimitada? Me refiero a que si tienes desbloqueada la bóveda de dinero en el cajero puedes usar el mismo billete para comprar cryptos una y otra y otra vez. Sin embargo hay que ser veloces ya que una ves que la compañía del cajero se percate del robo seguramente lo bloqueará de su red.

I mean if the problem is from his side, he must have copied it somewhere. Also its a real ltc address, you can't just come up with something or make a small error, because then the address would be flagged as faulty by for the sender. It's all very strange. I think the problem here was in OP side, as some user already mentioned, it could be a Copy/Paste malware, a lot of users has been victim of this kind of attack in the past. And other option is that OP didn't input the right address. And that's one of the features/problems of the cryptos, the payments are not reversible, so, if the casino already sends the coins and you don't control that address, that means the coins are now gone. It would be important to understand how it happens to avoid it happening again. |

If 12 characters in the key, the total number of combinations is 16^12.
Judging by the examples that OP gave, then it should be 62^12 instead. Note that it isn't as secure, but you can still have some sort of dependency on the hashing function used. 12 Chars passwords are hard to crack, some people would say they aren't secure enough, I was looking to some sites to verify how long it would take to crack it. I was looking at the site and the games are not clear at all... https://www.pool.game/gameAs we can see those games are skill-based and there is a problem with skill-based games, they can be automated increasing the odds of the user. So, I would recommend adding some provably fair games, that would be a better way for the users and for the house. Personally I don't like the project at all, it's obvious that the project has the main focus to bump the token and not to provide a nice experience to the users. |

La verdad es que esa cantidad es grande, pero no tanto para representar una parte significativa de la red actual con 120,211,597ETH en circulación. Hablamos del 0.001% de la red. Sin embargo seguro que los tiene haciendo staking, asi que esos ETH se segurán multiplicando. I'm not sure how secure is a service like this because somehow we must connect Binance to ChatGPT and that means giving the API access with our keys to your software, and there is where the real risk comes. You could easily save our keys and use our accounts in the future and that for me looks really risky.
It would be nice if you make from this an opensource project, I understand that you want to make a profit from a service like this, but you need to have in mind that we can find a lot of ChatGPT+Binance trading bots in github.

You can't make a decentralized casino because the ones who have the servers and the source code are the ones who decide the rules of the game, and in other words they have full control of the project. I mean they even have the servers and can shut down the project at any time, that's why the project would be centralized.
But I get your point, it would be nice to see a site that doesn't have KYC and the games are probably fair, just like it used to be in the old days. But there is a problem with that, and that problem is governments wouldn't allow it and would tag a business like that as money laundering.

There is a problem with the transactions spam attack, and the problem is that you have to pay for each transaction. So, for an attack like this you need to spend a big amount.
Is the same as a business paying for marketing campaigns to get more sales, miners pay fees to increase the fees by priority. But is not the best strategy because your competitors (the other miners) get the same high fees benefit on each mined block when the mempool is full.

Pero que pasaría si te digo que una persona abusó de una vulnerabilidad en el sitio robando cientos de miles de bitcoins. Estamos hablando de James Zhong, el hacker que encontró una vulnerabilidad en los retiros del sitio anteriormente mencionado con la cual podía hacer múltiples retiro con la misma cantidad máxima. Algo así como tener $1000 en la cuenta y cuando los retiras mandas 5 peticiones al mismo tiempo y todas se procesan. Cuidado con la segunda enmienda colega, esa es la que protege el derecho del pueblo estadounidense a poseer y portar armas, ley básica de supervivencia para una potencia mundial. Creo que el foco aquí es la cantidad de estafas que surgen por el halving, y hay muchos te venderán la idea de "compra ahora por que después del halving subirá" y como siempre, muchos saldrán corriendo con el dinero. No es nada nuevo, ya son bastantes años de libertinaje en Internet. |

If bitcoin gets centralized or even if bitcoin dies the other coins will survive because they run in their own blockchains, In the end, bitcoin is independent from other blockchains, if it works or not it doesn't affect the other coins.
The only thing we would see would be a change in the markets, maybe ETH takes the place of number one in the market and the other coins' price becomes now on ETH price based. That would be my prediction.

Tu publicación es una bomba de ideas, como una sopa echa con todos los ingredientes que sobran en el refrigerador. Así que vamos por partes.
Creo que las estafas son independientes del halving, mientras mas popular se hace Bitcoin, mas estafas irán apareciendo, y algunos se colgarán de la tendencia del halving para promover sus estafas, de eso no hay duda, pero no creo que cada halving las estafas se incrementen a lo loco, sino que las estafas incrementan exponencialmente en función del tiempo de vida de Bitcoin.
También otro punto a tener claro es que las estafas y hackeos no son lo mismo, una estafa sería el clásico "Mándanos $1000 para recibir $2000", mientras que el hackeo es entrar a tu cartera y ver que ya no están tus monedas.
