1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 31, 2024, 11:53:42 AM
If this same question is asked in the public so many people will tell you they have achieved anything from gambling maybe because they have not used money from gambling to build houses, buy cars or live a very good and comfortable life, or even get married as they may wish. If we want to look at achievement in gambling two things that should come to our mind should be " ganinig and wining ".
I have achieved from gambling because the very first time I played gambling I won #8,700 with #200. At least I have gained#8,500 by wining. I won this money when I have only @500 left with me. At least I was able to buy some food stuffs that serves me for a week.
I have also played gambling with #100 several time and I won.
So I have achieved from gambling because I won and gained from the ones I have played. Though there are also losses but at least the ones I won came at the right time when I needed it.

Your story, @Berry2d, is really good and interesting to read. It's rare when someone shares his/her positive experience with gambling. Normally people wright only about bad experiences. Maybe it's because they are too lazy to write anything when they win, thinking that their win story is nothing interesting compared to those stories about hitting a multi-million jackpot or something. Idk, for me your story is real and that's the beauty of it. Thank you!

To be honest, it is really sad for me to see so many accusations in this thread over the past week made by people I thought I could trust. So, what's happening? Where is @TheQuin with his comments about all of this? He was Last Active May 23, 2024, 02:23:11 AM, but hasn't post anything since April 03, 2024. I can't believe this reputable site is now going to its end. It is still the site from which many of us got their first BTC. Whatever happens, it will remain in history forever.

9 years old, tuff one
we should treat gambling as a drug so age restrictions are probably a good policy
the thing is that many parents don't care that much or don't put such a good filter on this...
crazy but true.

Gambling is like a drug, but to people known as gambling addicts. Just as food can act like a drug to people who are food addicts. Gambling, per se, is not a drug. Rather, it's an entertainment activity that most people around the world enjoy without becoming addicted. The risk of getting addicted for young people is high, so, you are right saying that age restrictions is probably a good policy. I would even remove "probably" from your sentence for clarity, because it is surely a good policy.

Yandex? You propose to use a Russian-controlled search engine to see what is really happening?

It's so ludicrous that it's actually funny.  Grin

Actually, I tested it a bit and compared to Google...its hilarious how much Google is controlled compared to Yandex
Yandex gives me exactly what I'm searching for ~

That's not surprising at all. Judging by your posts here, I'm surprised you hadn't found this Russian-controlled search engine earlier.

Just as Hitler's Germany lost its battle with the civilized world, Putin's Russia is also destined to lose.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 31, 2024, 08:33:49 AM
No work, be it gambling or any other work, should be done without interruption as it requires physical and mental rest.  Apart from physical fatigue people feel mental fatigue due to which people do not have concentration towards work.

I agree that no work should be done without a break, only gambling shouldn't be treated as "work" in the first place. Gambling should be treated as entertainment. I would rephrase your words as follows: "No leisure activity, no entertainment should be done without interruption." That's what I totally agree with. If you gamble all the time, even if you liked it, it would become boring and it would be like some hard work. And tell me, why anyone should be working hard and not getting big money for that, but pay for that form their own pocket?

Yes, if there are casinos that do not apply any restrictions or do not apply the rule that a minor is not allowed to participate in gambling activities in their betting shop then yes, the government should step in to solve this problem, and if indeed from the beginning the government only allowed gambling for people who are adults then yes, I think there is no reason for any defense for the government not to immediately solve this problem.

That's what we need government for: to regulate things like gambling so that underage kids weren't engaged with it. Although I don't know such people personally, I heard that there are people who would do anything for money, including allowing kids to gamble only to gain more profits. No one before 20 should gamble, period. It's my personal opinion, I know that it's allowed to gamble from 18 years of age in most places, unfortunately.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: May 31, 2024, 06:26:13 AM
~

I agree with that. I remember when I posted about my max multiplier on social media and someone told me that he had not received the same kind of prize ever since he signed up for the same gambling website. I was sad for him because just thinking how much he had spent looking for the maximum win must be a crazy lot.
I was just damn lucky that I got that but when I tried again for 2 weeks I have not even seen a good multiplier like x1000 yet. Maybe it was just my day at that moment and I am hoping the same thing could happen to others to experience the joy it could bring.
Patience will be key and maybe more money although I would not suggest forcing it just for one day. Take some rest, get some air, and do something else after a lost or a win. That way we cannot be addicted in gambling and we still think about it as a fun thing to do.

It's a great advice and I think gamblers should follow it as often as possible. I mean, we all know that we can't follow a good advice always, no matter how good it is. Especially when we lose. When I win I can easily stop for the day and get some rest. But when I lose, although I know damn well that I shouldn't act like that, I want my money back and I play and more often than not I only lose more in the end. But I know that that's a mistake to act like that, and even if it happens, I don't lose more than I can afford to lose. I mean, sometimes I do lose more and it's painful and all, but it's still bearable.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: May 31, 2024, 05:56:33 AM
My view on why the halving tends to eventually lift the price is for two reasons.

First, historically bitcoin has a tendency to increase in price for the reasons we're all familiar with.

Then secondly, supply shrinks in combining with this trend: exaggerating holding while others can't buy enough. So the halving of supply eventually has an almost resonant effect in combination with that up trend.

Then - boom.

Bitcoin post halving rallies aren't like other rallies.

The ETFs had a similar but much less exaggerated effect (at least so far).

The ETFs can't have a less effect on Bitcoin price, if you think of it. Especially now, when people in general have realized that Bitcoin is not a fraud. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, maybe most people still think that Bitcoin is a fraud. According to some public opinion polls, more than 60% of respondents trust Bitcoin “not much” or “not at all”. But we all know, it will change. Just imagine what will be next!
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your slices Luck that would have made you millionaire in gambling? on: May 30, 2024, 05:20:08 PM
~
It is actually very difficult to explain in detail about how luck works, but yes as you said that everyone has luck in his life, but one of the reasons why I say that luck is something that is difficult to explain especially from how it works is because luck has absolutely no certainty and guarantee of anything, or what it means is that you or anyone else will never know about various indications that can confirm that you will be lucky at that time.

There are no indications, mate, that's for sure. Luck can play a cruel joke with gamblers sometimes. It's actually documented. They can win many times in a row and start thinking that it's their "lucky day" and then when they go all-in they lose everything.

On the other hand I can't say that everyone has the same luck because of course as we know that there are some gamblers who manage to get very big wins while there are also some other gamblers who only get small wins, or it is also possible to say that there are some people who don't really lose a lot of money during their gambling and there are also those who lose everything they have such as all the treasures and valuables they have because of the impact of gambling ~

I'm saying "everyone has the same luck" in the sense that we can't know who will be lucky and who will be unlucky in the future. Retrospectively, when a week, a year, a life of two people has ended, we can say who of them was more lucky regarding winning money from gambling during a certain period of time.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: May 30, 2024, 11:19:01 AM
~ Is this true gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it?

How can you expect to make money through gambling? Gambling is entertainment, a recreational activity. The primary expectation should be enjoyment rather than profit. Yes, you can win by chance, but don't count on that, mate, we all know that the chance is slim. That's why I always suggest picking games that you enjoy playing, rather than those where you have a better chance of winning. However bigger it is, your chance is still small. Just enjoy the game, mate!
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Christians are all hypocrites who will all go to HELL. on: May 30, 2024, 10:27:44 AM
So everyone who I know who is a Christian is also worthless scumbag. Christians tend to be extremely angry, hateful, hostile people. Christians are completely and utterly incapable of apologizing for anything because Christians do not know a damn thing about repentance. ~

Maybe it's just because you have such people around you? Christianity is now followed by 2.4 billion people. They just can't be all the same.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 30, 2024, 10:08:48 AM
~
"The main reason that is causing the money mismanagement", I would say, is not trading or gambling, but not the ability of people to control their greed (the desire to quickly make money using borrowed or other people's money).

I think the problem is that for some people it's easier, for some reason, to put at risk other people's money than their own. Maybe it's because they don't care about others, like, at all. Maybe we shouldn't necessarily consider them as addicted gamblers. Addicted gamblers risk their own money, and many of them would never risk other people's money because they don't want to hurt others. It's like entirely another level of negligence, and I believe not all addicted gamblers are capable of that.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: May 30, 2024, 09:09:51 AM
~
So I've told him that I'm not involved if he gets to Invest at this time because I know he'd panic over the volatiles of the bitcoin market since he doesn't have  another source by which he can rely on earning income to process his financial needs. The choice is his to decide because if he had alternated his source of earning to bitcoin since I told him, the dividends of his bitcoin assets would had be reliable to him after much he may have made some profits from it. It'd had also served as means of savings and factor to encourage him to be economical with his luxury life which he doesn't have the potential to continuesly afford them

It was the right move on your part. Not only this time(because I don't think this time is any different from another) but you should never tell someone to invest in Bitcoin or any other crypto currency if it's not the money he/she can afford to lose, or, in your words, has a good  Alt. income. Bitcoin is not something that consistently gives you profits, like, week after week. You have to be ready for many months with no income if you want to be a Bitcoin investor.

I was also sure about myself to have something from this 100 but sadly due to having some absences I lost my chance even I lost many matches in my pools which hurt me badly, but now I am trying to manage things better for the next season with if I will be able to have access to site and also able to do things as I am doing for last few years I will be tried my best to achieve this all as few sites here on this forum are generous to give free money to all users which are having good knowledge of sports specially soccer.

I also want to perform better in the next season of the FortuneJack's Majestic7 competition. As far as I can tell, they have been running it for several years in a row already, so, I hope we will have the opportunity to participate in it in the future years too.

~

You have a nice average which is 1 correct prediction per matchday Smiley

That's not good at all. I hope I missed half of them matchdays, and that's why the result.

what you need to do next time is to have 3 correct prediction per matchday if Fortunejack will have it again next new season.

I will try to do that. I'm putting all my hopes on the next season. Smiley
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this true or some superstitious believe about gambling? on: May 30, 2024, 07:11:42 AM
~
This is a common human superstition, not necessarily associated with gamblers. My point is that gamblers are no more superstitious than other people.

I believe it's true. There are so many superstitious people in the world, and the fact many of them are gamblers doesn't show that gamblers, or most of them, are superstitious. Rather, it is because many people are gamblers. Some of them drink Coke, others are vegetarians, and others are superstitious. It's like encountering many vegetarian gamblers and coming to the conclusion that all gamblers are like that.

~ Personally, I am a little surprised and feel slightly embarrassed when, in the age of high technology, I come across statements of human superstitions that touch on various mythologies (such as Christian, as in this case). It would seem that humanity has overcome the dark ages, but as you can see from your story, some characters still remain in those times. Smiley

Yeah, me too. But that's how it is: a lot of people have outdated views.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done something crazy to bet? on: May 29, 2024, 12:02:48 PM
~
Guy, you don't have to get confuse. Gambling has a high chance of losses than the wining you can get. Whether you stake a big or small amount, the losses you will get is always high. It's not a lie that the casino is more favorable for the owners than gamblers.

How's that? I'd say this is one of the craziest sentences about gambling I've ever read. I think, if you stake a small amount, the losses you will get in the case of losing will be also small, don't you think? That's how you can enjoy gambling while not losing much of your money: you place small bets.

Also, who said that it's a lie that "casino is more favorable for the owners than gamblers"? Show me just one example. Everyone knows that casino has an edge, it's not some hidden truth.

Hahahaha man always surprised by you because, why do you bet so much on the Argentinian second division? Is very hard to find something in there in a solid way, i know surely they always has highs or interesting odds because of the irregualr path of every team. Or is just because you just have some Argentinian roots?.

Im Argentinian for that i talk about this.

If I were to say I didn't have any Argentinian roots, it would be close to lying, because how can we be sure about things like that? Smiley

What I know is that I love this country, even though I've never been anywhere near it. Argentinian poker players Ivan Luca and Maria Constanza Lampropulos are the people from whom I learned to play poker, and I have the flag of Argentina at home because I like how it looks very much. It's maybe that's why, when adding more legs to my multi bets and seeing so many options to bet on games in Argentina on Sportsbet.io:

I tend to pick from them. Smiley
