Well... India needs another 218 runs, while New Zealand needs 6 more wickets. Even at the moment, I think New Zealand has the upper hand. Washington Sundar and Virat Kohli are at the crease, and they need to stay there if India wants to save the match. And Mitchell Santner is just unplayable. So far, he has picked up 10 wickets in this match. But the advantage for India is that Ajaz Patel from the other end has proved to be very incompetent.

I would rather see long term prison sentences given to these criminals. They're not only cheating the game, but they are cheating the bettors out of a ton of money. What if someone lost a huge bet and took their life over it? Would you blame the cheaters? Would you tell people they shouldn't be gambling?
Obviously someone taking their life is an extreme situation, but you never know how big or small someone is gambling and the stress behind their situation. Long term prison sentences might stop some from cheating their profession.
I would second that opinion. Some people think that white collar crimes are of a lesser magnitude, which is not true. For example, the thieves who stole billions of USD worth of crypto from MtGox is no less evil when compared to serial murderers such as Ted Bundy or Andrei Chikatilo. The latter killed dozens of people directly, while the former did so indirectly by stealing the life savings of their victims. Depending on the magnitude, financial crimes should be punished with lengthy prison sentences. And hardcore criminals such as Sam Bankman-Fraud should be given the capital punishment.

Sri Lanka ended the third day with a lead of 82 runs, with just 4 wickets remaining. To have any chance of remaining alive in this match, they need to get the lead to at least 150. Not going to be an impossible task, as their lower order is not that bad. On top of that Shoaib Bashir has been disappointing so far in this innings.

Looks like USA may end up winning this match. The 6th wicket partnership between Milind Kumar and Shadley van Schalkwyk is taking them close to victory. Unless the Dutch can get 1-2 wickets in quick time, the match is over for them. And it puts them in a difficult situation, as they have only 6 points from 5 matches so far (will become 6 from 6).

That's right that Vancouver Knights performed well but I think that was the good luck. Because they are in bottom and that was not easy to beat Montreal. Because if you will take a look on the yesterday match stats which was between Montreal Tigers and Toronto Nationals. So you will see that how much Montreal is good in bowling and batting too. First of they bowled really well and out the whole team of Toronto and Toronto made only 52 runs. Here I appreciate the bowling of Kaleem Sana and Azmatullah Omarzai both collected 4,3 wickets respectively. And Montreal Tigers chased this target easily and they are now leading in the point table with 9 points. And I hope they will do in future too.
Global T20 Canada is turning out to be a great place for the players from associate nations to showcase their talent. In this league along with players from full member nations, you can find those from countries such as Nepal, USA, Namibia, Scotland, Netherlands and Malaysia. Hopefully this particular league will be able to attract attention not just within Canada, but also at international level.

Very strong comeback by Ireland after a disappointing first session. Zimbabwe was cruising at 193/4, but then Barry McCarthy, Andy McBrine and Mark Adair ripped through the lower middle order to bowl out the Africans for just 210. Zimbabwe lost 6 wickets while adding 17 runs. The momentum has reversed now, and Ireland will be the strong favorites from now on.

Agreeing with your opinion that currently Bangladesh don't have any good openners or middle order batsmen and the thing I noticed in Bangladesh team their young player who new in squad failing in every time. I was thought this pitch will be bowling friendly but it's not Australia was playing amazingly anyway the result of this match was expected that Australia will win this.
Bangladesh has a rapidly ageing squad. Look at the members who played yesterday against Australia. Shakib Al Hasan is 37 year old. Mahmudullah has gone past 38. And these are among the key players in their XI. Once these players retire, Bangladesh will really struggle to replace them. And the younger players are not being consistent. The babies in the squad are 23-year old Tanzid Hasan and 21-year old Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Both are being inconsistent.

Today's game isn't crucial for India, but it raises many questions that the ICC must address. It's unacceptable for a major event to have no reserve days. Rain is causing Sri Lanka's elimination and has hurt Pakistan's chances too. Hosting the World Cup in the USA and West Indies requires proper facilities, and teams shouldn't be eliminated due to a wet outfield. Additionally, no matches and no views frustrate media rights holders, and this needs a solution.
These ICC guys take everyone for granted. They hit the jackpot in 2023, when they managed to sell media rights for 2024-27 cycle for more than $3 billion. If they behave so arrogantly, then I am sure that the rights value will go down in the next cycle (2028-31). Having no reserve day for a major tournament, and that too being conducted during the North American hurricane season is something inexcusable. Also, what about the fans who travelled all the way? They may reimburse the tickets. But what about the travel and accommodation costs?

England will have quite easier parcours especially in the group stage and will not lose a lot of energy comparing to France which has Netherlands and Poland to face. Even group B is complicated with Spain and Italy along with Croatia in it. The risk of being eliminated since this stage might be taken on consideration for the odds. Otherwise I don't find England as better than France or Spain personally.
England is actually in a tougher group. In Group C, they need to face Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia. All three are strong teams and Serbia is in top form right now. On the other hand, in Group D, France has Netherlands, Poland and Austria as the opponents. I don't think that they will be too bothered during group phase. Especially with Netherlands, who are on the decline for some time.

Do Mumbai Indians stand a chance against Kolkata Knight Riders today? The best allrounder of this season of the IPL (Sunil Narine) will be facing the most over-rated allrounder of the season (Harpik Pandya) in today's match at the Eden Gardens. Apart from Rinku Singh, most of the KKR players are in prime form, including Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Andre Russell, Phil Salt and Mitchell Starc. On the other hand, Pandya himself is out of form, and the same can be said about Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav.

Looks easy peasy for Lucknow but would be epic fun if they mess up from here lmao
Overall, in this season CSK looks like a weak outfit or at least performs below par when playing away from home. Their best hope is to make into finals and rely on some luck after all, the final is scheduled in their backyard.
They made it in the end without much effort. I don't know why CSK captain kept Matheesha Pathirana on hold for so long. He could have been brought earlier. The first wicket partnership between Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul added 134 runs, and by then the match was over. It was important to bring in the strike bowlers before it was too late.

This section is going to be silent for a while. For the next 3-4 moths, most of the teams will be busy preparing for the T20 world cup. Next test series is scheduled to begin by 10th July, when England will host West Indies for a 3-match series. We can expect some quite one-sided matches, as the English pace battery of James Anderson, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes and Ollie Robinson will be up against the out of form West Indian batsmen.

NATURAL GAS (HENRY HUB) Price $1.58/per million British thermal unit You do the math! Not an apple to apple comparison. If you want to compare Henry Hub price, then you should compare it against wellhead price in Siberia, and not against the price at the Greifswald entry point. This is because transportation and liquefaction makes up the majority of the cost for natural gas. Gas that costs $1.58 per MMBTU at Henry Hub may cost many times as much once it lands in Europe. And as far as I know, liquefied gas can never be as cheap as piped gas.

In the 3rd Test match of India vs England, England team came to the field to play the 2nd Innings today. They scored 72 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 29.4 overs. Ravindra Jadeja of India team took 3 wickets with 11 runs in 10 overs. Kuldeep Yadav 11 runs in 5.1 overs. took 2 wickets with .England team still need 483 runs to win this match.
India won the 3rd test match by huge margin of 434 runs. The Player of the Match of this third match by Ravindra Jadeja from India for his all round batting and bowling performance in batting first they scored amazing hundred by scored 112 runs in second inning of match. Ravindra Jadeja bowling well scored 2 wickets in first inning of match and in second inning of match by picking 5 wickets by giving 41 runs and win match for his team. It is once again proven that there is no competition at least in the test format for India. Australia is the only team that can trouble them, at least occasionally. However, I am not sure whether they will be able to perform at the same level once the golden generation retires (Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin.etc). The younger players like Iyer and Gill doesn't have the same consistency.

England need 322 runs in this innings and have lost one player so far. If they manage to form a perfect partnership this run target can be easily achieved. At this time, it is important for England to build a solid and strong partnership among their players, so that they can easily reach the target. This position can be difficult for them but a good partnership can make it easier for them. Somerset and teamwork are important now and if these two factors come together England target is possible. In this era, it is most important that every player has a sense of responsibility and helps each other.India scoreboard is good but India did not perform well in this innings especially Jaiswal he shockout of India team he made 209 run in Frist inning but second inning he made only 17 run . Quite decent performance by England so far in this series. They won the first test match in amazing manner, and now they have performed well in the second test as well. Some of the newcomers, such as Tom Hartley have performed beyond what was expected from them. James Anderson now has 695 test wickets and he also bowled well in this match. All that said, it will be difficult for England to score another 322 runs.

India is back to old times, when Virat was the only batsmen who could score runs under SENA conditions. So far in this tour, the performance of top order batsmen such as Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill have been pathetic. Rohit has been a failure, both as a player and as a captain. When India was bowling, he sticked with Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Prasidh Krishna. These three conceded a combined 285 runs and took 4 wickets. On the other hand, he under-utilized Ravichandran Ashwin, who bowled just 19 overs.

Japan is already all out for 99. Right now the innings break is going on. I am pretty sure that Bangladesh is going to be able to score this pretty easily. The target is definitely not big for Bangladesh under 19. I believe Bangladesh is going to be able to score this in no time. I will also not be surprised if Bangladesh somehow is able to win without closing a single wicket.
But just because of this performance, I would not say that Japan does not have any chance in cricket. They will just have to improve and be determined to improve quickly.
Not really surprised because Japan is not one of the strongest teams from this region. Bangladesh are now 71/0 after 7.4 and looks like they will win within the first 10 overs. Even then, Japan should be proud of the fact that they managed to qualify ahead of strong teams such as Singapore, Malaysia, Oman, Hong Kong and Kuwait, by finishing within the top-3 of 2023 ACC Men's Under-19 Premier Cup.

Big congratulations to West Indies. I really admire their fighting spirit! The skipper, Hope, played an excellent knock and showed great leadership to take West Indies in a tricky chase. I'm genuinely hoping West Indies goes on a bit of a revenge mission for the non-ODI World Cup qualification embarrassment. Unfortunately, England's performance at the World Cup was disastrous. Looks like heir bad days not finish yet. Their bowlers were expensive against WI batters, and it's a rough patch for them. It can happen to any team, but it's expected for England to step up their game in ODIs.
Nothing is going to take away the fact that West Indies is a team on the decline. A few months back, during the World Cup qualifiers they lost to Zimbabwe and Netherlands in the group phase and then went on to lose to Scotland in Super6. Defeating a second string England side, who themselves are not doing very good recently is not going to matter much.

Win Probability in ESPN-Cricinfo shows AUS at 94.68% and IND at 5.32%. Australia needs another 71 runs. By now, it looks as if Australia will lift their 6th ODI Cricket World Cup trophy today. The partnership between Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne really rescued the Australians after they were reduced to 47/3. At this point, India floundered the opportunity to take a couple of quick wickets and thereby get the match under their control. Anyway, it is time for introspection for India and they should do that before the T20I world cup in 2024.

Anyone with a half-decent brain knows that this pitch is really tough to bat on which is why the game is evenly balanced at the moment. Head is the key wicket currently. If he keeps playing for a long time, Australia will most probably win.
However, if he falls soon, India will have the upper hand since the pitch will most probably keep getting slower and slower. Exciting final!
You are right. The difference between Indian and Australian players is that the Aussie players did their homework, while the Indians took everything for granted. While batting, the Indians were trying to smash each and every ball for a boundary. That sort of strategy was not suitable in this track, and that too against the quality Australian bowlers. On the other hand, Labuschagne is batting very patiently, and providing good support for Travis Head. KL Rahul tried the same approach while India was batting, but then he ran out of partners.
