201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin on: May 25, 2019, 09:54:45 AM
As title said "Chinese citizens could safely hold Bitcoin", just read a article from Ethereumworldnews, you might read that article for more details "China: Hodling Bitcoin (BTC) and P2P OTC Trading is Legal".

However, this is a good news for Chinese crypto users. They could hold bitcoin legally without fear of government. I think the positive impact of this news would reflect on bitcoin price.

What you think about it?

204  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin on up trend & scammers are waking up. on: May 11, 2019, 09:50:20 AM
Seems bitcoin on up trend mode and on the other hand scammers/hackers are waking up. Just few days back we have noticed about binance hacked. I am suspecting more hackers and scammer will wake up since bitcoin is on up trend. Especially ponzi scheme, hyip & fake ICO. Perhaps scammers and hacker would use this up trend as weapon of scam.

So we need to be more careful about current scam. Scammers are more smarter from us, so we have to think more.
205  Other / Meta / How forum detect automated translation? on: May 04, 2019, 12:13:59 PM
27. Using automated translation tools to post translated content in Local boards is not allowed.
Question is how forum or moderators detect automated translation? And if someone cought what is the action from forum/moderators side?

For example, user sellinglegandaryaccount is using multiple local language (almost more then 5 different languages). May be its possible he/she know all languages and also there suspicion that he/she is using automated translation tools.

What is appropriate action about this case since it's related with forum rules.

206  Other / Beginners & Help / Are we become lazy now? Where is our creative idea? on: May 04, 2019, 11:39:05 AM
Seems we (forum users) become lazy nowadays. Not all, but most of us. Perhaps you are wondering why I am saying like that. The reason is, I have noticed that most of forum users are just reposting from old post lately. Like gathering trust system derails, merit system details, scam hunting details and so on. Most if topic just using quote or binding links together etc etc. Yes, they are just reminding old this, but nothing contributing from themselves. I am not saying they are doing bad, but look like it's just for merit hunting.

Where is your creative idea? Where is your unique idea? Why not sharing creative knowledge? Are we become lazy? We really need good contributors for forum especially from newbies. Instead of binding quote together you can spend your time to learn more and share it with community. There is lots of source to learn about crypto-currency. Just acquire knowledge and share your creative idea with forum. Share your creative knowledge how can we improve crypto-currency and this forum.
Try to use your brain, don't just depend on others. You can do, and you are the one who will lead on future.

Today you are newbie, but somedays you will be legendary and you have to lead next generation. Don't let your brain for sleep.

Apologies for my topic, I really don't want to hurt someone. I just describe the reality. I haven't mentioned anyone. I have used "US" "WE" means I am also included. So let's wake up show our creativity.....
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are investors realizing that IEO is a silent scam? on: May 02, 2019, 03:12:16 PM
It has been going three days Bittrex has launched IEO for "ocean" coin. But seems still now 17% remain of IEO token. Last IEO was closed within few seconds. Wondering why still not sold out current IEO on Bittrex. Are investors realizing that IEO is silent scam? Because on last IEO on Bittrex lots of investor's got REKT. Perhaps that's why investors worried about their funds.

What do you think? There is any other reason?

211  Other / Meta / Is it possible to remove/ban specific link from signature? on: April 21, 2019, 12:53:39 PM
Sometimes I have seen on few post forum removed few link from OP. Instead of link we have seen "Suspicious link  removed". I think this link removed by forum.

So if same link someone wear on signature then what will happen? Is this link will be removed same as OP? Or is there any way to remove or ban manually?

My main question is, if a suspicious link removed/ban from OP that means there is some doubts about link. So if someone wear same link on his signature then how will it handled?

This question raise my mind due to spam of Yobit. Search button had not give me appropriate answer. That's why I made this post. If someone try to advertise their site on forum, there would be phishing link or any other suspicious link. How forum will handle that kind of link if they operate signature from outside of forum? Same like Yobit.

If there is any way to ban/removed their link then perhaps people's will make appropriate report why link should be removed or ban. Its not easy task to report one by one spam post if there is thousand spammer attacks on this forum.

So there should be something that admin could ban/removed link from signature or total signature code could be removed. Correct me if I am missing something, I can't remember if there is any way.
212  Other / Beginners & Help / Your stupidity is opportunity for scammers! on: April 20, 2019, 10:48:56 AM
I don't know how may people's have realized that our stupidity is oppurtunity for scammers. I think most of scam happening due to our stupidity. It's not easy task to hacked or scam peoples. But due to lack of knowledge scammers taking easy money. It's true few scam happening unfortunately, like exchange hacking. But lot of scams happening due to our greed and stupidity. Let's discuss few of them.

Free coin offer:
Usually we always try to earn free money. This is our greedy nature. And scammers are using this as a opportunity. They will get your details then after few days will ask for verification. At the same time they will ask for private key. It has happened with lot of users. So is it not our stupidity? How can we trust someone with our private key?

Sign a message :
Just forgot the thread, I have noticed few days back that a guy got scam by signature. Someone gave few code to him for sign a message from his wallet. Code was request for payment. After sign message his fund was transferred to hacker account. Is it not a stupidity? Why should we sign with unknown code? Obviously it was happened due to lack of knowledge.

Invest on fake ICO & PONZI scheme:
This is the common scam nowadays. The reason is greedy behaviour. We always try to find out quick rich method. And this method throw us to scammer. Are we not really stupid that still now believing to ponzi scheme and we don't bother to do diligence before invest fake ICO. Our lazy behaviour and stupidity is responsible for this kind of scam.

Lazy behaviour & phishing:
During make any transaction we just copy paste address. But we forget to double check before conform the transaction. In a result, sometimes fund goes to some other wallet. How this would be happened? Easy answer, hacker successfully hacked your keyboard or device. On the other hand, hackers first attack is phishing link. This is very easy for them stolen your fund and whole wallet. We are really not care enough about phishing links. Before submit your details on any important website related with fund we should reconfirm the web address. Especially if you are using Google search. Otherwise when you will loss your fund no one could say. This is our lazy behaviour and how we got scam.

There is many more similar things how scammers are making us fool. Just we need learn more as much as possible. Most of scams are happening due to lack of knowledge. So we should be more careful before handle our funds.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: April 20, 2019, 07:05:49 AM
We know lot of Altcoin on the markets with different prices. How you determine which is most potential coin? What method are you using? Few people's are thinking those coin price growing well its potential coin. Do you think same?

I don't think that price growth could determine potentiality of coin. For me, I determine potential coin by uses. Its true few coins growth is good enough even there is no uses. But it's only temporary or by manipulated. But if you choose potential coin which have uses and team are too active to develop their platform then it might give you good returns on future.

So before invest on any existing coins you should determine which is potential coin and how it is. Don't just compare growth of price for alts.

What's your thoughts about it? Let's share knowledge and correct me if I am wrong.
214  Other / Beginners & Help / Do you use "report" button during posting ? on: April 18, 2019, 04:32:13 PM
I believe most of senior members doing that. So this topic is dedicated to motivate newbies.

As title says, do you use "report to moderator" button during posting? Especially for main thread. Lately I am active on multiple borad and noticed that lot of post made on wrong board although post isn't bad. Most likely OP not sure where he/she have to make post. So in that case you can help them by report to moderators. So moderators will move the thread on appropriate sections. I like to encourage everyone to use this because you can help for right and useful discussion instead of just make generic reply on this kind of post.

More thing is, you can report also spam or off-topic post/reply. So moderators will delete that kind of spam post. I have noticed lot of spam post during my posting and I am reporting as well because moderators alone couldn't make a decent forum. We can keep our role to help them.

If you don't know how should handle report then I would like to suggest below thread. It will help you to understand full details,

[Guide] Reporting effectively

Hope you will keep your role to build a decent forum.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Binance going to delisted BitcoinSV on: April 15, 2019, 02:47:58 PM
Just read article from Binance, they are going to delist BitcoinSV on 22 April. Here is the official announcement, and I have noticed BSV suddenly dump on Binance. Binance have mentioned few typical reasons why they are going to delisted. I think more exchange will delist upcoming days. There is no any reasons why community should accept fork of fork. That's why eventually BSV going to delist from a big exchange. And it would effect also on others exchanges.

I had opened thread against them long time ago, Be aware from Satoshi’s vision.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / From when you are involved with bitcoin? Had u wondered why you not meet before? on: April 14, 2019, 01:33:36 PM
I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  Grin. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.
217  Economy / Reputation / Spreading FUD about bitcoin and shilling HEX on: April 12, 2019, 08:16:32 PM
Just noticed a user called Butterscotch Cartman spreading FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt). And yes I noticed from my untrusted feedback. He/she left me negative feedback because I called scam to BitcoinSV. According to this user SV is potential coin, lets say he/she is right. So if someone call scam to SV he/she deserve negative feedback on his/her opinion. But if someone call scam to bitcoin then he/she is deserve negative feedback in my opinion. And according to this user Bitcoin is biggest scam.

My question is, if I left negative feedback now then will it consider retaliatory feedback? Although he/she isn't on DT and I don't care about his/her feedback but I am willing to leave him/her negative feedback due to anti bitcoin behavior.

That user shilling Hex with referral link, (Archived)
Code:
http://bitcoinhex.com/?r=0x1976A52C86a8dFA6b2d712fbdCd4B770Ef815e94

I would say eth over tron but I'm even more excited about Bitcoin Hex since its free to claim.

http://bitcoinhex.com/?r=0x1976A52C86a8dFA6b2d712fbdCd4B770Ef815e94

Its look a ponzi scheme to me,

Staking   If 1% of coins stake, they make 369% interest avg. e.g. If 2% then 184.5%, 10% is 36.9% The less stakers the less the pool gets divided. More stakers, less circulating supply.

That's why ETH address on referral link.

Lets read few post of this user about Bitcoin FUD and negativity. He/she is spreading misinformation over forum.

Bitcoin is the biggest scam, there are no more greater fools left to buy. These worthless internet beanie babies are garbage.  You butters are severely mentally ill.

Cry fucking idiots still holding these worthless digital beanie babies.  IT will continue to crash, are you idiots just going to hold to zero?

I already gave my reasons, this cult has brainwashed people into hodling worthless digital beanie babies.  Most people here lack any common sense.

My connection says 2000-2500 range by the end of this year.  There are still some idiot holders that will hold till zero when this joke currency collapses but some of you may be saved if you do the right thing.

tick tock, tick tock,  there is not much time. Don't wait too long to sell.

Btc will collapse to zero.  My friend is a high up in wall street.  Get out while you still can. Dont be left holding worthless fake money.

Same thing can be said about bitcoin, in reality it is shit but there are still a lot of fools that are delusional.  Bitcoin is just as worthless as any of these other coins.

within 2 years under $500 and then the death spiral begins.

Yes I am against crypto, it is complete shit, our current financial system is 100x better, no one wants to be their own bank, look what fucking happens when you are your own bank. what a joke.

I posted the following in this thread and it was deleted:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5080741.0
This is why crypto is garbage.  If someone steals your bank account information or credit card you can actually retrieve your money back!!! crypto is complete shit."

Someone had to say the truth.

I'm done spreading fud, I don't want to ruffle anymore feathers.  I still think bitcoin is overhyped but I suppose the market has declared it has a value which is basically a store of digital gold at this point.

There are one good articles why peoples think Hex is a scam, Why Richard Heart’s Bitcoin Hex is a scam

Do you think he/she deserve negative feedback ?
218  Other / Beginners & Help / Have you ever checked posting date? (Newbie question) on: April 08, 2019, 02:14:22 PM
Do you noticed that there is posting date & time below topic title? If not then you can see on this post. There is reason why am I asking this question.

I know that problem has been discussed multiple time on this forum including meta. But unfortunately most of newbies are not visiting there. However perhaps more post available on this board also about this subject but I would like to write myself.

I have noticed that most of newbie just make post without check the date of original post. Few post posted even Three years ago but newbies are bumping that thread for increase post count. Is it not spam? Replies are just generic and worthless.

You might reply if there is any useful topic or you have any updates about topic. Otherwise I don't see any point to reply on very old thread.

For me even I think before make any reply if main post made before three months. There is lots of new discussion and we can easily participate there. So why we need bump very old thread. This is really spam for me.

Hope newbies will care about it, because lot of claims about merit why  newbies not getting it. So I would like to say, please read posting date before you reply on any thread.

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bittrex IEO sale end within TEN seconds. on: April 02, 2019, 04:15:07 PM
Bittrex showing IEO sell end within TEN seconds. I don't how is it possible since I was waiting before 15 min of start sale. I have not seen they enable BUY button. Once enable BUY button that time already sold out. Also I was continue refresh page so there is no question missing timer. Seems they are also cheating with users same like Binance Launchpad. Not sure if someone bought Bittrex IEO. Is anyone from Bitcointalk bought Bittrex IEO?
