Most annoying word for me on bitcointalk are mostly use on Announcements (Altcoins) board. For me below words are most annoying and I always used report to moderator button if found; Great project, Good project, Awesome project, Exciting Project, Beautiful projects, Potential project, Biggest projects, Amazing project, Nice project, Excellent project, Wonderful project, Fantastic project, Cool project, Sound awesome, I love this project, I like this project, I wish good project to our future, Promising project, I support to this project, To the moon, Nice project with a great team, Very Interesting, All The Best, I'm glad to be part of this project, Hoping for a better project, I trust this project, One of the best ICO , And all others similar word. It's become little bit harder to report ANN bumping bot by visiting Patrol. Due to most of Jr. Members demoted on newbie all post are reflect on patrol. So reporting spam bot become harder for me except visit ANN thread one by one. There is any other way ? Or could be exclude from patrol those are more than 60 activity? |

If you are good reporter than I would like to help you (only demoted newbie). If you have 300+ good report on your report history than I will visit your post history. If you are not a spammer or one line poster I will try to help you. I will just consider to visit your post history if you post here your history, it doesn't mean I will merited you. If I really think your post high quality and useful than obviously I will merited you. Post your report history screenshot link here. Your user name and good post should be visible. After implement 1 merit required for Jr. Members lot of post came from demoted newbie. Also there is some post of accusation of merit abuse. Most of post about suggestion for demoted member's although OP has demoted. To be honest it's effort of earn 1 merit for back to Jr. Member again. For that few important post are going down. In my opinion moderator should move some post on Beginners & Help and Reputation board. Especially guidelines for newbie goes to beginner & help board and merit abuse goes to reputation board. Although I report one post to check but unfortunately it has mark unhandled.
Usually any change never want to take easy on the forum. Not only forum, it's everywhere. But slowly it will be fine for everyone. After a week no one will make sound (IMO).
However I would like to request moderators, please move few topics on appropriate board those are really not belongs to Meta.
I don't think need to make list because moderators know better than me.

Most generic suggestional day is 17 Sep 2018. Lot of suggestion came out from demoted newbie from last day. Especially on meta and Help & Biginner board. As we know from began most of suggestion was by well reputed member's. But from yesterday all reputed member's stay silent and demoted newbie flying with suggestion. We know the reason by the way. That's why I called it " Most generic suggestional day". Also we can say constructive day. Every members have right to suggest some idea but yesterday flooded by suggestion. In my opinion most of counselor never came before on meta or they don't know about this board. Perhaps they just hear from other's Look like they just wake up for merit. I just wondering and seeking to send merit some of them those are made constructive post. But unfortunately once I visit their post history, it's discourage me to send merit. Most of post on bounty reports and one line. However I have some suggestion for them to help improve posting behaviour. We are not robot, we are human. I don't it will be much hard to earn 1 merit if newbie can change posting behavior. Eventually I want to say for demoted newbie; don't be panic, you could earn 1 merit by your hard work. Obviously merit source and other reputed member's will help you if you can change yourself. Rules made for clean forum. We should help to build a decent forum. |

Perhaps you was surprised once you saw that you are demoted to newbie. Today forum admin implement Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements as well you know. This is real time implementations. May be this rules make disappointed most of people's usually. I want to say be disappointed or emotional. Rules for build a decent forum together, and it was necessary. Don't be upset. That's true. However even you can't change rules but you can contribute your skill and experience to forum. Admin always respect useful suggestion from reputed member's. However some personal suggestion from my side that you can follow to earn minimum merits to become Jr. Member again. This is totally my personal opinion, don't care if you aren't not agree. You can avoid it if you aren't not agree. 1. Delete your spam post:You should delete your post those are really you think a spam. Especially those are just you made for increase activity or for signature campaign(include your bounty reports those are unnecessary). Most of merit source will visit your post history before send merit to you. As far as I know they always try to avoid one liner. You might think that your activity will decrease if deleted your post. But there is no meaning of your activity if you don't have enough merit for your rank. You could be a decent member of this forum. By deleting your own post means you reduce so many spam from forum by yourself. Those post are really not contribute any knowledge, you should delete as soon as possible. 2. Avoid posting on mega thread:You should avoid posting on mega thread in order to improve you posting behaviour. Even your post quality is good and useful but you made it on mega thread like 20/25 page's, no one will read it especially merit source and well reputed member's. So there is very low chance to earn merit. So avoid mega thread will increase chance to earn merit if you are really a good poster. 3. Improve your posting behaviour:This is the most important in order to earn merit. What you was in before just forget it. Motivate yourself to improve posting behaviour. Don't make post just increase your activity as well I said on above. Share your skill and experience in all over forum. Before posting think about what you are going to post. It's is really high quality ? Or really helpful for forum? Try to improve your English skill as much as possible. At least you should able to exposed what is on your mind. Don't post off topic that's are not appropriate with main thread. Research before answering any question. Don't copy paste others post or from Google. It might be ban your account permanently. Always try to make a decent and unique reply. If you don't like your own reply than how others will like it? So try to change your posting behaviour and improve it. Don't post unnecessary picture, bold, color and over size front for posting. 4. Post useful & informative articles:Do you think this post is useful for you (newbie) ? I hope it's useful for newbie. Never mind if I not merited on this post, because I earned lot of merit. Do don't post only for earn merit, and don't expect merit all of your post. You should post thread with useful and informative that will help & motivate others. Use search button before posting. Because so many similar post will disqualify you to earn merit. So make sure your information is unique and decent. Stolen others information will ban your account. Everyone have different skill & knowledge, so share your best thought and skill on forum. Just like you can share your knowledge and guidelines about crypro currency if you know it well. Over all you should share useful topic that are not yet post on forum. It will increase your chance to earn merit. Don't make unnecessary post to avoid spam. Except useful or informative topic will consider spam. So there is no chance to earn merit as well. One thing you should care, just make long post it dose'nt mean that is useful or quality post. Try to explain shortly as much possible. Make too long post might discourage people's to read it. Don't waste your time just claiming to admin. Change yourself first. Admin always encourage merit source and smerit holders to spend their merit on quality post. Blaming to admin will not solve your problem. Your hard work can solve your problem. It's your time to become a assets for forum. I am wondering to help few newbie as well and I expect more merit source and smerit holders will help too. Don't be hopeless, you will achieve your goals if you are become a good poster. Personally I don't think it will too difficult to earn 1 merit if you follow above guidelines Note: If you are a good poster and you are worried about limitation of newbie and signature like sending pm and posting with image, there is option for you; Many of these limitations can be eliminated with a copper membership. In particular, you can set a signature at Member level if you wear a copper membership. |

Eventually newbie are in meta board due to Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements . Usually we can't see newbie on this board and never contribute something. However I want to give special thanks to theymos for implement new rules. During long time we was asked for it. We can see many post on meta that most of people especially newbie aren't satisfied. But I can't see anything wrong for good poster as well theymos added more 36 merit source. There are 120 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 23045 sMerit per 30 days
I believe that's enough for handle current situation. I want to say to newbie, don't be panic. Use your time to contribute your best for forum instead of made accusation. It's time to change your posting behaviour. Concentrate to your work how you can help forum. It will be better for you and also for forum. On the other hand I would like to request merit sources and smerit holders to spend your merit to help newbie (except one line spammers) on current situation. Obviously there are few users that deserve 1 merit by the way. Merit source should be little bit soft for newbie (except one liner or spammer). Rules are implement to build decent forum not to make disappointed people's. Personally I am wondering to help some if newbie except spammer. Also I would like to request whoever still now never spend initial smerit, it's time to help forum now. Hold smerit will not bear any benefits for you, but it can help many people's. Since I am beginner & learner, few question around on my mind. It's not my complain or not I am blaming someone. Especially two subject I combine on this thread instade of post multiple thread. Should we stop expose scam ICO?Few people's are exposing scam ICO lately. I am not saying that all the accusation is 100% accurate. As we know when we report a post we can see; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports. I would like to consider this sentence for scam accusation also. What we see from began, most of exposed scam are exit with fund. However scam isn't moderated by forum and we can't blame to forum as well. We just exposed the reality, whoever want to invest we can't stop them. We just make a report about activity of ICO and post it on Scam Accusation board. We can't judge it, unfortunately no DT also handling this kind of case lately. I know it's much difficult to judge, but it doesn't mean we should leave forum free for scammers. Usually we tagged OP ourself once we found suspicious activity or fake ICO, in fact most of ANN and bounty managed by ICO team. Sometimes we mention DT to tagged those almost obvious or possible scam, because our tagged will not reflect on their profile and forum members will not aware about their scam activity. But unfortunately we getting very low response from DT. Sometimes they tag them but very rarely. By the way they might be busy or it's depend of their own judgment they will tag or not. We can't blame also them in that case. Question is, sometimes we found few ICO posted by higher ranked account that we called managers or whatever. For clarity, in that case we should leave him/her negetive feedback if they don't want to lock thread ? And what about if a manager post multiple fake/ scam ICO. what should we do ? Personally l am not much encourage to tag a higher ranked account in that case for first time. So I ask managers to lock their thread and also sometimes we get positive respons from them. Problem is if multiple accusation against a manager than what should we do ? We should leave him/her free to make more scam ICO post? So why it's necessary exposed a scam. Should we stop expose ? Although someone no tagged but it's helping people who visiting accusation board. I expect appropriate answers from reputed member's. We just don't want to increase our enemy and negetive feedback. Edit: Personally I believe for become this forum most popular there is a huge role of hunters and ICO's. So I think we should care about it. Trust System: To be honest, I noticed lot of positive rating (green trust ) is for succesful trading, like bought some token or coin. I can't see much green trust for forum activity. Is this really need to give positive rating for successful trade ? Can't be use neutral feedback ? Why there is neutral feedback option? Shouldn't use it ? Sometimes green trust made confuse. May be someone will trust him/her blindly without check trust comment. Although green trust isn't mean a person couldn't scam but it has a value. However please don't take it personally and I don't have aguemnt if someone not agree with me. I just want to acquire knowledge. Because recently I saw different reaction from different reputed member's. You can see here.

Perhaps they copied from ForeignTokens but they never change it. I am not sure about coding case. Developers can confirm it.

Alternate solution by community instead of pushing theymos. We can see lot of suggestion in last few months. Unfortunately we can't see any reaction from admin. Due to lot of suggestion I don't think it's possible implement all. Obviously there is few suggestion theymos should consider. However there is no alternatives way to solution or reduce problems? I think we can, although not possible completely but community can reduce problems instead of just pushing admin. We can share possible solution and step up for action. I will collect all the suggestion from hilariousetc post Community generated suggestions to improve the forum instead of search all meta post. I will picked few suggestion that possible solution or can be reduce. There is many similar suggestion, I will pick one of them. 1. A newbie welcome message or link to a welcome thread upon sign-up explaining the basic rules and links to everything they need to know including the full forum rules, helpful guides and FAQs etc. No excuses for not knowing the rules then. Obviously this is a good suggestion for newbie. Since there is no respons from theymos I would like to suggest sticked a post on every board like index. Subject could be Index, must read before posing or something similar. That thread should include all the information & useful thread link created by community that need to know for newbie. Like LoyceV created this thread. On the other hand I noticed there is multiple sticked post by same user few most of boards. It could be combinde in same post. On the other hand few useful topic can be sticked together. And index topic should not lock for question from newbie, so someone from community can answer them. Of course we need help from moderators for that. 2. Require at least one merit to become a Junior Member
There is multiple suggestion almost same about Jr. Members and remove signature. This is the most important suggestion by community & theymos should consider this suggestion. To be honest problem isn't Jr. Members , problem is signature campaign. Obviously it can be reduce by community. To avoid spamming Jr. should not allow by managers. Already some managers never accept Jr. Members. Sticked a post dedicated for managers and participant about signature campaign unofficial rules. There should be involved trust system. Should tagged managers who will allow Jr. Members, although there is so many red tagged managers. However if managers not follow than tagged Jr. Members. Tagged should be temporary until they remove signature , Of course tagged member will request to removed tag. I know it's little bit complicated, but not impossible. I believe we have not to continue it more than a month. Because between one month every one will know that he will get tagged if not follow it. As far as I know people's always try to avoid red paint. I can't see others solution except it if admin not disable sign or require small merit for become Jr. Members. If you have any other solution than share it here. 3. Posts from lower ranked accounts don't bump ICO threads to the top (which would then render paid bump spam useless).
Need encourage more people's for report using patrol page. There is active moderators on ICO ANN board. Sometimes take action within 10 minutes. I am not sure how to encourage people for reporting. Perhaps it would be small merit giveaway. Like 1 merit for each 500 good report. On the other hand a spam reporter couldn't spammer himself. 4.
A 'bump button' for the marketplace that only allows you to bump your thread once every 24 hours. Manually bumping by posting will then be disallowed. As mentioned above, posts by lower ranked accounts could not be able to bump threads thus curbing potential abuse.
I don't think so it's necesarry to implement on current situation, there is more important suggestion for implementation. Same comment as above I discussed, need more patroller post report. 5. A sub board for highly merited users to encourage constructive topics only by users who have proven their worth here over time (or make the Ivory Tower merit requirement much higher [OMG ITS LIKE SOVIET RUSSIA GULAG]).
Not agree with that, if implement that community will missed lot of quality and useful post. Useful post could be post on meta or help & beginner board, so it will visible for all. 6. Charging ICOs a fee to make their ANN here. You could even get rid of the ANN board completely and give them their own sub once they've paid the fee.
Who will be responsible for scam ? Currently no one blaming forum for scam due to not moderated by forum. But when forum will get paid than question will go to admin why you allow this ICO for sub board? 7. Additional perks for Legendary accounts or a higher rank if added What is next ? If added one more rank than people might ask for another rank. It's look fine current rank system. 8. Add badges as a reward for high reporters and/or merited users
Admin already seeking for that. About merit I already discussed above. If I am wrong , I will not argue since its my own opinion. You can share your thoughts. Also about others suggestion. Lot of more suggestion here. We can't reduce pressure from admin? I think possible reduce if we share each other what would best action by forum. No need all forum members for revolutions. Did you saw whole country people perticipate if happened any revolutions ? I don't think so. It might be hard but I don't think impossible few thing. Please share your thought if there is alternative solutions by community about any suggested post. We can't try our best instead of blaming theymos ? |

Since Bitcoin holding in good position but alt coins are bleeding everyday. It's look all alt coins become shit coins. I will not surprised if alt coin price become below ICO price. Lol. I was wrong that alt coins holding more profits from Bitcoin. I have more than 50% loss on alt coins. Although I am not going to sale in loss even I have to hold more than years. But I don't think so market will recover soon. There is too much negetive news about crypto currency. And it's already effects on alt coins.
However current situation but I think this is good time to invest on crypto currency. But invest only whatever you can afford loss.
