I find this extremely hard to believe.
I think Bitcoin price will hover around $13-15k until Lightning Network has arrived. Once that does and starts working well, it's hard to predict the price, but it definitely won't go down. But it will most likely break $20.000 and go above quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks $30.000 and the whole crypto scene is worth 1.5trilion by the end of 2018.

Shift has been hurt really hard in the past few weeks.
It lost over half of its value, which is surprising to me as they delivered their decentralized website and also plan to release whitepaper in late January (and more goodies planned in the near future).
Perhaps it was overvalued at $11.

Someone is not letting this coin go down. I noticed this long before the crash. Every time BTC dipped, GBX went up, and vice versa. Someone was making sure they cash out and get 50% more out of their GBX.

Yeah it's kind of important to get those $3000 but I don't want to hurt my altcoin portfolio that much.

I set aside these 0.1btc and usually mine about 0.1btc per month so figured that I will have enough until late February, but this crash is putting my vacation in jeopardy unless I decide to take something from my altcoins, something I really don't want to do.

I'm a holder and not a panic seller, it's just that this crash changed the situation.

I'm already going to use all my cash, but I also need these $3000.

I maybe need about $3000 for the upcoming vacation. Currently hold 0.1BTC but about $12.000 in altcoins.

Any suggestions from experienced traders/members? Sell now or risk it and maybe have to sell even more back in late February (no later than 5-10th March).

That is really nice of them to cover this with their own expenses. Especially for a project that didn't have an ICO.

But on the other side, if they didn't, they would've taken a huge hit and lost a lot of trust. But what this tells us that they are dedicated to COSS so the future is very bright!

I have invested in COSS.
Now I genuinely think it's a good investment. Currently the price is low because it has issues with the website. But it's competitors are Binance and Kucoin, both reaching $20+ so easy 10x on COSS is definitely doable. If the team doesn't fuck up.
I bought COSS it at $0.3 and it reached $3 so I already gained x10 from it. It's currently a bit above $1 so not a bad time to get in.
I would've bought more but I don't feel like getting rid of my other coins (Waves, Shift, SunContract and SpectreCoin).

Well, I'm holding COSS until it hits $15. Or $10 depending on how SunContract performs.
Those two coins are my big bet.

Sure I hold Shift, Waves and SpectreCoin as well because I trust they will have a great Q2 2018, but I think I will get rid of those before summer 2018. Probably even get completely new coins.
Also, for me it was a decision between Wagerr and COSS. I made a damn good decision buying COSS at $0.3. Even after this crash I made x3.


Also, I like the new UI. But it looks different from other exchanges, I guess that's why many dislike it.
Bittrex UI is extremely confusing to me. I don't like it at all and I prefer COSS UI over Bittrex or HitBTC. The next best is Cryptopia.

I'm pretty sure all the coins I hold will survive and go up in 2018.

This is not true, as Neo was at above $180 before it crashed to $150. It lost more than Bitcoin but what you didn't see is that it gained a lot in the past 24 hours, therefore its 24h percentage is not in a big loss.

ERC20 is a junk token and SiaCoin has 1.3bil marketcap. Neither are interesting.

I believe we have hit the bottom. My coins are recovering and started to go up.
