Yeah a lot of altcoins will disappear.
People call bubble on Bitcoin, but there's no bubble on Bitcoin, there's however a bubble in many crypto altcoins.

Taxes is what I struggle with.
It's not enough that my government is taking a good chunk of my pay, they want to take a good chunk of my extra pay as well.
And to finance what? 1 litre of petrol here is €1.5 ($1.8 ). Stupid Sweden.

It's looking a great prospect and price is moving up at stable rate, just wish there will be a bounty program for members.
Actually, GBX price is most likely being manipulated by miners. I've followed it closely as I mine and sell, and every time Bitcoin goes down, GoByte either keep its value or spike up. It's a very good tactic to earn quite a lot more than what crypto calculators show. Let's say GoByte is $50/day and BitcoinZ $55/day. Most miners will jump on BitcoinZ as it has more profit. However, GoByte value going from $40 to $50 would give it over 20% gain, so that's actually $60+/day instead of $50. And then it happens when Bitcoin is rather low, so people trade GoByte for Bitcoin and wait until Bitcoin goes up 10%, and you're suddenly at $70/day or more. I'm not complaining since I'm a miner and sell what I mine every 2 weeks or so, but I'm pretty sure that my observation is accurate.

A good token, a good project, a stock exchange token deserves a good price, but it seems that at the moment it has reached its peak, correction is coming, new developments and news are needed for further growth. Implement the functions of which there are no competitors.
Bad forecasts Don't worry, there was a correction already as it went up to $2.1 and then went down to $1.3. It lost 40%, but it recovered a bit and now is hovering around $1.5 which is more stable. With a new UI and bugs fixed it can go 5x (which is maybe in 2-4 months). With more coins and more trading per day, it can go x10 (perhaps 6-12 months). Maybe. Judging by the schedule, the correction may continue up to $ 1, too fast growth, there is no support, but in any case, anyone who sees the goal of 5 $ should understand that for this it is necessary to introduce a new exchange, what does not have competitors, there must always be positive news. Did you even read the news update 2 posts above yours?

Here is the latest news from the slaCK announcents from COSS RUNE: Dear all. Over the next few days, we will announce a scheduled maintenance for this coming Sunday. This is to implement the new UI. During Sunday and before the launch of the new UI, there will also come a medium update from coss.io so watch this space for more information.
FYI: Dev is now working on a solution to speed up all deposits and withdrawals, and we aim(hope) to have this ready by the end of today. For those that have had (or still have) deposits/withdrawals in limbo. Please bear with us as we are working hard on this and the user's funds are always a high priority.
I do believe that patience will pay off literally dividends for COSS holders, especially once the exchange is working full throttle, just give it time!
This is very good news. They basically plan to solve all their problems in a day? If they succeed and can continue providing this kind of effective bugfixes, I see very bight future for COSS. Remember ladies and gents, in a world where more and more countries are threatening their exchanges, decentralized exchanges are the future!

I keep wondering if CoinMarketCap actually did us a favor by removing Korean exchanges.
I mean, if Korean government does go through with their threats and bans Bitcoin, it won't have as much effect as it would if they were still included.
Or do you guys think I'm wrong?

I don't see how South Korea can make any difference now on the price since their exchanges are excluded from coinmarketcap.com, which most people visit.

But it also lists DeepOnion as the #1, which sadly renders the entire article irrelevant. DeepOnion is fishy as hell. I lost $10.000 because they allowed phishers to write guides on their tutorial forum. I don't know the state of their guides now, but fuck them, the damage has already been done and I don't give a shit about DeepOnion anymore. In fact, all these airdrop creeps who write nonsense in forum just to get their post count up to receive airdrop are just annoying as hell. But it's a clever tactic to promote a coin, I'll give them that.

$100 is not actually much if you look at the market cap, not the single coin. $100 would put it in $2bil market cap, compare it to Monero which has $6bil, it's not that bad. And Monero has worse tech.

What made Radium suddenly go up in price?

|

So what do you guys think about the price? Will this go pump and bull? If you compare ico price and now market price it was huge jump. I see big potential in this coin, not just watching the price but I think project is very promissing and guys have some good partnership and price will follow, this is my opinion. The partnerships are already done and team is working on its full potential. I think this project is one of the massive one for 2018, until the team is along with this project and keeps their road map healthy on the run. i read on telegram that 2 exchanges will be soon added SNC MOON TIME I don't want to go to Moon, I want to go to Pluto.

.... I really hope that XSPEC has not fallen into the hands of too many day-traders like STRATIS has. ....
Highly unlikely. To be attractive to day trading, XSPEC would need to have more liquidity and depth. No doubt it will get there this year, but we are not there yet. I hope you're right. This is actually my #1 fear, since it happened to a coin I was (and still am) hodling, STRAT. Strat went from $3 to $20 in 2 months, that's a pretty healthy gain. Not all coins can grow like RaiBlocks

Heads up, the problem was fixed but then again I got another drop about 4 hours ago. Still GBX Port 4236. The problem is either returning or could return.

I see.
Still I find Tethers very useful.
If I was to exchange crypto to fiat only if I wanted to save my money, I would get into a tax nightmare.

My guess is about $100 around summer or in Q3 or Q4 2018.
Simply because 2017 was a huge test for the governments and they failed to come up with a satisfactory solution to crypto. 2018 will be the year they come down crashing hard on crypto. This leads me to believe that 2018 will be the year of privacy coins. I also think that 2018 will be the year when Bitcoin with Lightning Network kills other quick and cheap coins like RaiBlocks.
However, after that, 2019+ will be the year of tech coins like Ethereum, SHIFT, Waves and so on with Bitcoin still at the helm. But for now, get into privacy coins, doesn't have to be XSPEC but since it has one of the best privacy tech and low market cap, there's a large potential to grow.

I would love to see XSPEC on Bittrex or HitBTC. Any plans?

While it undoubtedly made a lot of money for those who invested in in early and while the price was low (read, mostly bankers), a lot more people have been burned with its hype and then sudden price drop.
See, this is not the first time people got burned on Ripple. It happened before, it happened now and it will happen in the future when they see the chance to grab more money. This time a lot of new investments came in late 2017 and the money flowed yet again into bankers pocket.
If you really want that new house and be free from bankers influence, the best way is to vote with your money and choose something else.
Ripple should be removed from coinmarketcap.com

Yeah Waves is one of the oldest coins in my porfolio. The ones I bought first. I have already gotten 3-5x profit but I'm still holding since I believe it will boom. Not overnight like many coins, but it's a "here to stay" coin. It's probably as safe to invest in it as it is in Bitcoin and Ethereum. And probably a better investinment as its market cap is high but relatively low for its overall value (team dedication, competition market cap).

I actually prefer the current (old) UI. It's minimalistic and easy to use. But I guess the new UI is ok as well. You have a very good overview, but maybe a bit cluttered (however not more cluttered than other exchanges). I don't use exchanges very often as I'm a holder and not a day trader, so I'm not qualified to say which one is actually better.
