421  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Paying taxes in Croatia on: January 07, 2018, 11:09:23 PM
Alright, thanks all. I might actually ask a lawyer or a bank in Croatia.

I also have a friend in Serbia and maybe I'll ask him about the situation there. Croatia is in EU and Serbia isn't. Maybe that will make a difference.

The problem with Swedish taxation is that if you're mining, you have to pay taxes as if you're working. All my crypto earning is coming from mining, and 60.000 euros in less than a year is considered high income. They will tax my ass between 60% and 70%. I don't mind paying taxes but that amount is absurd.
Investing and letting your investment grow is different and taxed about 30% of the profit only.

There are countries in the world which does not require you to pay any tax.
If you earn a lot of money then maybe is better to go there Wink

here are some list:

Very nice list, thanks.
Now if I only knew someone in Germany or Denmark Cheesy

Sorry for inconvenient due to slow front-end. The issue should be solved now. We have reconfigured rules on cloudflare.

For your second problem, difficulty of GBX went up the last few days. Moreover you should take into account the pool luck. So you should make your calculation on a longer period.

But I propose you to send us your wallet id so we can analyse the situation.

Sure thing, here you go:

Hi,

We improved the website accessibility few hours ago, you'll see an enhancement.

About earnings, I had a look at your address, payments are fine. I agree that earnings depends on the network difficulty but it also depends on pool luck. We improved pool wallet connectivity and other aspects but pool luck also depends on probability. In theory, on long term, all pools with the same configuration and fee should give the same earnings.

PS: Unimining fee is 0.5% and not 5% as you mentioned previously.

Have a nice mining

Yeah the earning has gone up now, it was around 1 before, now I'm getting about 1.35 GBX now which is still a bit less than what I should be earning (~1.5) but I'm fine with that. You have a great pool, keep up the good work.
I set the fee at 5% because I have 3 miners, so 3x0.5% and 3x1% (I thought dev fee is 1% on EWBF miner) which adds to 4.5%. However I checked today and dev fee on EBWF is 2%, so it's actually 7.5% total.

EWBF is for equihash, not for nescrypt isn't it ? GBX is neoscrypt coin, so i don't understand.

Yeah sorry I'm using ccminer.

even at 100$ per coss i wont sell......gonna be having a fat weekly chunk from the dividends

Life is gonna be good.

Not 100 usd maybe but i think we will see around 20 usd in a few weeks. Because people are crazy about such coins nowadays. look at bnb and it is pumped so much. People are rushing to buy them  Grin

If that happens I'm buying myself that Kia Stinger I always wanted. Hell even $10-15 will make me happy.

You guys have to realize that suddenly having 100x traffic will choke everyone who's not prepared for it. Why do you think big exchanges are closing registration? They can't handle it.
So people flock to exchanges like Binance, KuCoin and COSS, but they are not prepared either. Especially COSS. Younger and less developed coin and definitely undermanned to handle hundreds of emails they receive on a daily basis.
Maybe swap to some other exchange that is less overcrowded? But my guess is you're on COSS exchange because you want to buy COSS coins since it's about to moon, huh? Wink

I bought my COSS on HitBTC. Worked like a charm, although the 2 exchanges I use the most, Bittrex and HitBTC have slowed down A LOT lately.

If you think crypto exploded in 2017, wait until you see 2018 Wink

Hello.

I live in Sweden but I was born in Croatia a long time ago and also have Croatian citizenship.
Taxes in Sweden are quite high, from 30% to up to 70% if you're mining. And I'm mining.
So I'm looking for alternatives. Let's say that I visit Croatia and open a bank account and transfer about 50.000 euros from Coinbase or Kraken (or any other Bitcoin > fiat exchange) to my bank account in Croatia. How much do I have to pay in taxes?

Google translate (the best I could do Wink)

Zdravo.

12%? If that's true then I just might switch to a Croatian bank.

THERE IS gonna be no dump especially for COSS as everyone wants to have a share of split fees ... so everyone buying is a hodler........unless you do not know what u are buying or getting into

Aaand it dumps.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 06, 2018, 10:25:19 PM
Coss at $1.34 currently.
Binance also mooned to $22 currently.
KuCoin mooning as well to $13.

It's a bit too fast rise for my taste. I like slow but steady growth. Fast rise is usually followed by a huge dump. Binance and KuCoin however prove that there's a chance we could see $10 and $20 eventually. I'm holding Smiley

Who faced the loss of coins? Dev does not answer. Who can help? I'm in a panic.

I had the same issue. Here is how I fixed it.

0. Shut down the wallet. Make sure you go to task bar and right click and exit if using Windows.

1. Backup current wallet.dat and use an older backup. My backup of wallet.dat was from July. Make sure it is a date after your last activity sending or making a new receive address.

2. Go here and follow the instructions carefully. https://blog.espers.io/using-the-snapshot-d8eb6d1cb3f6
Delete all the files it tells you to delete and use the new snapshot data. Change conf file as instructed.

3. After doing everything carefully restart the wallet. Your coins should be back and let the wallet resync to the correct chain.

4. Hopefully it will work for you and you will be happy again. I had to do this. i was missing over 1.3 million coins. This fixed everything.

Can confirm this worked for me and I got back my 115k Espers.

However I'm not sure what to do now with them.
Are they going to be stuck again if I try to transfer to coinexchange.io?
What about this fork or whatever that happened few days ago? Did I get the new Espers or are these useless?
I sent my old Espers before the fork, then they got stuck. I just didn't bother to do anything about it until now as it's not much money.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: January 06, 2018, 10:03:23 PM
The next 100x will depend on the market.

RaiBlocks did not go 100000000x just because. It went up a ton because Bitcoin was having issues with slow transfer and extreme fees.

So when Ethereum goes to shit, you'll see coins like Waves mooning.
Or if Bitcoin stumbles and starts crashing and becoming more and more useless, Ripple will go bananas to $100 each.
However I believe that once Lightning Network is active Bitcoin is going to moon to $50.000.

433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OVERvalued altcoins. on: January 04, 2018, 09:10:40 PM
XRP- too much hype, not enough backbone
BCH- Still overvalued in my opinion by ALOT
SNC-probably the most hyped up coin I have seen in the last few months of 2017.

SNC?
Really? It has a working product. PowerLedger, its competitor has no working product and is 20x the market cap of SunContract.
You're funny. But it also shows that you have no insight in the project and its competitors.

Yes SNC, didn't say it was junk or scam coin I said it was hyped up the last few months. I have been a long term holder since July and tons of other coins have outperformed it, its not worthless but not worth some of the hype, I am a day trader and do lots of trading and generally do not like to hold more than a month. It shows you can't properly understand a simple statement and I am aware of the projects and competitors.

The thread is about overvalued coins. Not about day trading.
I never mentioned anything about it being a junk or scam coin.
SNC is not overvalued. You're spreading false information.

Its not false information just as other people in here have different opinions for different coins, maybe you are satoshi himself since you know so much. I respect anyones opinion but not disrespect, and sorry but I will continue to get help and advice from big day traders and long term crypto gods that are pretty important to our community lol if you only had a idea. Your first reply shows the type of person you are. SNC has been overvalued the past few months end of story, take a look at any chart and facts its plain and simple, if you dont like my opinion then respectably keep it moving, I could be wrong/you could be wrong, stop junking the thread up.

Alright Mr. Know-it-all.
So answer the question you've been avoiding.
How is SNC overvalued when Power Ledger is 20 times its market cap?
What does that make Power Ledger?
Super over valued? Or you think it's price is justified?
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Likely to become a millionaire from altcoins? on: January 04, 2018, 05:43:39 PM
sure there chance, buy top ten at coinmarketcap list. buy promising coin like eth xrp and verge. Or you can invest to interesting ICO project, just becarefull when choosing it

Are you deliberately trying to get people to lose their money?

436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The Ultimate Guide: Top 7 Altcoins That are Way Undervalued. (Moon time?) on: January 04, 2018, 05:36:16 PM
I will give credit where credit is due.

I read about COSS for the first time in this thread. Then read more about COSS.
Dumped all my NEO at $75 each. NEO is worth about $106 each currently.
However COSS went from $0.25 when I bought it to $0.54 currently, so I more than doubled my profit.
Thanks a bunch Wink

However I still think that SunContract is better investment than Power Ledger. Power Ledger is 20x the market cap. That is huge.

$25? $50?
I haven't really followed the competitors closely so I don't know how Waves compare to them.

Instead I live in Sweden where I pay a shit load of money for electricity. Still, I use solar power from my provider. So I don't pollute as much, but it does cost a pretty penny.
