963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Volume dropping way low on: May 20, 2011, 02:57:25 PM
We need to find more ways to encourage people to use bitcoins as money that they trade for goods and services.
If everyone just tries to trade their BTC for USD right away,  the price will go down.

Go use your bitcoins to buy something other than USD!

I will gladly accept bitcoins for everything in my online store.

965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: S. Korea Bitcoin Translation. Is there one? on: May 20, 2011, 02:35:14 AM
My friends already translated the weusecoins video into Korean and Japanese.
The subtitles are here:http://www.weusecoins.com/materials.php

Can someone convert the video with the subtitles into a file and upload it to youtube?
I think it would be useful to have the video on youtube with the subtitles hard coded in.

What can we do?
Maybe someone could try to pose like they are going to do a deal with him to get his real contact information?
Are we sure this is the same guy,  or just someone else using the same proxy service?

978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin 100+ - The Internet's Richest Bitcoiners on: May 17, 2011, 05:57:31 PM
I would guess most bitcoiners would not be interested in advertising this information publicly.
It would invite all sorts of trouble.
Hackers... Governments... who knows what else....
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: more bitcoin spam email (this could become a problem) on: May 17, 2011, 05:41:56 PM
Bitcoin prices will only continue to rise if people begin using bitcoins for their every day transactions.
We should be focusing on making it easy for everyone to use bitcoins in every day life.

This will help us individually and the world as a whole.

The next time  you want to buy something,  ask the merchant to accept bitcoins.
980  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: WTS Just about any product you can find on Newegg.com for BTC!!! on: May 16, 2011, 11:09:02 PM
I sent an email, but you didnt answer.

I want to buy this hd5850, N82E16814102932 and ship it to Santiago, Chile.
Fedex says that Chile is a zone L country, and they charge about 90 usd for 2lb of cargo.

So, how much would be the deal? And do you use clearcoin?

GA-583UD1G   GIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD5830 1GB DDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card   $249 each

I have never used clearcoin before,  but I am open to the idea.
