221  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators, help me please on: August 23, 2018, 09:51:05 AM
I am happy to be able to join this forum because I have almost the same problem as you, I am given negative trust and until now I do not know my mistakes so I get red trust and if anyone knows about the mistakes I made, please help screenshots and reply in the thread here. thank you
The description in your Negative Trust already tells everything you need to know why you've been awarded by a Red Paint. There's no need to take a screenshot for your mistakes, just look at your post history and you will be surprised that the evidences of your "mistakes" you were looking for are just in your posts history all the time.

Edit. OP, it will be much better if you lock the thread since there are no further good discussions will happen here. Look for the "lock topic" at the bottom left part of the thread.
222  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL BOARD - [MUST READ] 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 23, 2018, 09:41:30 AM
Nope having an alt account is not an issue here
Yuph, I agree. Not because some members are having multiple accounts doesn't mean they are shitposters. I know some people who had two accounts but is using in the right way and there are also some members who only have one account but is a shitposter. It depends on the user on how will they contribute in the Forum because actually other user's priority is to earn, not to learn. But we can do both earning and learning but make sure that you're doing it in the proper way and not violating any rules of the forum.
223  Other / Meta / Re: The Place of Knowledge in post replies on: August 22, 2018, 11:11:38 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, because I really have some hard time to understand what we are even talking about here...
Then you should just did what you have said in your reply.

3/ You don't have anything to say, you move on.
How can other members will follow what you've said if you can't even do it yourself Smiley
224  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators, help me please on: August 22, 2018, 10:42:46 AM
this is the citation of news, where it says that I gave this text for my own?
A citation of news you were saying? Without its references its plagiarism. You've just copied and pasted it  Undecided

The text tells it's yours by posting it, but since you've just copied the contents. Then it's not really yours, you stole it.

You're busted, no more excuses please!

Thanks LoyceV for proving it. OP has no escape.
225  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators, help me please on: August 22, 2018, 10:07:12 AM
just you so rudely answered me, saying that I really stole someone's text and I'm crying.

Hi there, I'm not a Moderator as well but I will try to speak with you without being so rude as long as I can. You committed a plagiarism which will give you a permanently ban as consequences. So there is no excuses and considerations to get your account back and you're not even allowed to create an account again and post here anymore because that would be another violation which is "Evasion of ban". I went through some pages of your posts history and seems like you're a one liner spam poster and the plagiarism you've done must be you copied one of those shitposter's reply and repost it in the thread or its has been deleted.

If I were you, I will start to forget Bitcointalk because you really doesn't deserves to be here Smiley

Respectfully yours
Silent26 Lol.

Edit.
you have a red trust, and I was banned for plagiarism, in which I am not sure and do not see in my communications? than I am worse than you, to ask only to tell what exactly my text was regarded as plagiarism?
Is mdayonliner's trust has something to do with this? Because in my opinion, you who did plagiarism is worse than him even though he have Negative trust Roll Eyes Now I'm starting to get rude.

Edit.
show the text that is plagiarism
Let's just patiently wait for Moderators about that. Then, after that, you can freely step outside the door of Bitcointalk  Wink

Don't worry, I will take back everything I said IF Moderators proved that you're not guilty Smiley
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google's new updates ban cryptocurrency mining apps on Play Store on: August 22, 2018, 09:45:42 AM
I heard the news before. But i can't understand why they did this. As far as i know Google has no right to ban cryptocurrency mining app. So it’s not justifiable.

Actually it's a wise decision from Google. Those apps in playstore that were telling you that you can mine bitcoin/satoshi by solving captchas and clicking/watching annoying ads are "Scam and Fake apps". I've tried one of those before but guess what? A bitcoin mining app? Where you can easily modify the value of satoshi by modifying its "Shared preferences" file?

I assure that the developers of those apps earned some bucks for fooling people to use their apps. Its Google's great move to take some action to those fraudulent developers and apps  Undecided
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin are easy to mineable? on: August 22, 2018, 09:29:40 AM
Im my entire crypto life I tried to min ETN lol after few hours I said myself f*** off LOL
Is ETN stands for Electroneum? I never heard about this cryptocurrency before as I don't really pay some time to check all kinds of cryptocurrencies but after a few minutes searching to Mr. Google I've found what I was looking for (also giving OP an idea what to do at situation like this Tongue). Actually the first result Mr. Google gave me is ETN stands for "exchange-traded note".

Quote

@OP: I guess it depends on the setup you have.
Yuph I agree. It depends on how fast your computer is and also depends on the graphic card of the PC and etc. (the reason why I can't even try mining, it's because of my low spec laptop) . OP, it will take a lot of time before you perform mining on your PC, just read and read and you will be able to learn what you were looking for.

I don't mine bitcoin nor altcoins but as far as I know, it would be much better if you have mining rig.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin are easy to mineable? on: August 22, 2018, 03:13:55 AM
As far as I know the best and easiest altcoin to mine is Monero. But if you're not satisfied with my answer and also to find answers with these questions of yours
how i can start mining? And in where i can do mining?
You better ask Mr. Google as he can provide everything you wanted to know that this forum cannot provide. You better learn how to search first before you enter the mining world.
229  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHERE CAN I GET THE MERIT? on: August 21, 2018, 06:01:28 PM
You get merit from number 2. I thought everyone knew that?
Nope, maybe other members knew it but I really don't have any idea what it means. What does it means anyway? I'm really curious to find it out before I go to sleep pretty late in the evening (actually it's morning 1:55 am).

I wonder if he is still reading this thread to learn from it. Smiley
I really wish he is. Because as far as I know, most of Jr. Members who make nonsense threads here in meta asking etc. things then no further reply from the OP after several replies from other members means they didn't read any reply from their thread and just asked/posted it for a additional post count and a chance to get Merits from Meta section readers. But not so sure though, maybe OP is different Smiley

Edit. Well I guessed I have no choice but to sleep along with the curiosity in my mind for school tomorrow.
230  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL BOARD - [MUST READ] 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 21, 2018, 05:48:58 PM
We are now changing, the only thing that we need is the help of our moderators.
That's the last thing we were actually waiting for, help from our Moderators. But seems like there are still no action at all or they're just pretty busy in real life. But either way, we are still waiting for some changes for our local board which can only be done with the help our respected Moderators.

Anyway, thanks for mentioning my name  Smiley I'm sure that those other members who have been mentioned has appreciated it as well.
AND ONE LAST THING, HOW ABOUT WE SUGGEST THIS THREAD TO BE PINNED. Para hindi matabunan at mapansin ng karamihan ang sakripisyo at trabaho ng mga talagang nagmamalasakit.
Well, it's good to see you here cabalism13.
Since theyoungmillionaire rose a couple of months ago, a lot of Filipino has been encouraged to make good posts in our local board that's why you can now find lot of useful threads here in local.

About what you've said above, I really agree to it. But we will need our Moderators for that kind of action.
231  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHERE CAN I GET THE MERIT? on: August 21, 2018, 05:03:34 PM
What's with those poll OP just made? I've read the question over and over again but still can't figure out what to vote (assuming that I will vote). It's 10x harder to answers than my exams :-/
232  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: August 21, 2018, 04:52:30 PM
I hope there will be some "contest" here where the prizes are merits hehe. I dont know where i can get merit now hehe
Even though we made contest for Jr. Members like you in order for you to receive Merits, I don't think you will receive even a single one if you will continue posting spam posts. . I'm wondering why you still don't know why you can't receive any Merits while by looking at your posts history will obviously give you the answer to those "Why?" questions.
With those 42 posts you have not even one posts catches my interest. You should improve posting.
233  Other / Meta / Re: The Place of Knowledge in post replies on: August 21, 2018, 12:32:14 AM
There are two different ways you should do when you've confronted a topic that you didn't know nor related.

First, if you would like to reply on it, make sure its not "off-topic" so in order to give a reply, read the whole discussion first (OP and all replies) and if the discussion didn't not satisfied you then its tome to make some research about the topic. In this method you will be able to catch up on the discussion.

Second one is, if you have confronted a topic you doesn't know, instead of replying "spam post" or "off-topic post", it will be much better if you just ignore the thread Smiley
No one is forcing you to reply on a thread that you doesn't know what its all about.

Sometimes, some topic/thread does not need your opinions if it's just nonsense.
234  Other / Meta / Re: Community generated suggestions to improve the forum (+ eventual voting on them) on: August 19, 2018, 01:40:44 PM
also I think your recommendation is only useful if you know the identity of that person, capturing an unknown face is useless.
Yeah you're right, it made me think about that too. But I would be so willing to see how my account's hacker looks like.  Tongue

my main point about this one is to have some kind of early prevention in order to change your password or even your email (if necessary)
Sounds really good to me.
235  Other / Meta / Re: [THE LUCKY LIST] Just the right amount of MERIT on: August 19, 2018, 01:06:20 PM
So you switched sides in 1 day after attacking me for saying the same thing? I guess you needed a Legendary member to say that uh?
You're a funny guy  Grin
I can't believe that you didn't understand what I said. Well, let me explain it again.

First of all I didn't switched sides, like what I said in this post (I hope you didn't missed it)
But, asides from that, It would be better if every local board has also having their own Merit Sources because it will be difficult for our sources to distribute Merits from a post/thread written in other languages.
I stated that we still need more merit sources for every local section. That's why I said this...
It's nice to know that even you had noticed that we still need more Merit Sources and I do agree with that as well.
So there's no side switching happened. I suggest to add more sources since the beginning. Please read it several times.

Well about this one
Merit System doesn't need any improvements,
I'm serious when I said this, what kind of improvements are you expecting from Merit System? Free Merits when you reached 224 Activity? Because in my opinion adding more Merit Sources is not something we can call "improvement of Merit System".

How about lock this thread if you don't receive at least 2 Merits within 48 hours? Smiley
Anyway, you're lucky that you hesitated to accept my challenge Smiley

And the funniest thing is that i want merit only to wear a goddamn avatar.  Grin
Aww, too bad for you. Looks like it will take a couple of months (or years?) before you wear an avatar for advertising. But it's still possible for you to get enough merit to rank up to Member just in one day, well it's either you buy Merits or beg for it  Cheesy
236  Other / Meta / Re: [THE LUCKY LIST] Just the right amount of MERIT on: August 19, 2018, 08:20:01 AM
I don't agree with the first part, that we don't need more merit sources.  I think we do.  Even if the total amount of good posts remains the same, I think it might be taking a little too long for those good members to rank up.  More sources could alleviate some of that while still keeping the shitposters at Jr. Member for eternity.  I don't think having more merit sources would result in bad posts earning any merit, though I suppose that's possible--but that's why applications to be one should be vetted carefully.
I've just sent you my remaining one sMerit to give for quality posters. It's nice to know that even you had noticed that we still need more Merit Sources and I do agree with that as well. Actually, I have seen a lot of good posts lately but since I don't have enough merits to give, I just gave a few of them as I'm saving my sMerits for those members who will need it a lot (Although you didn't need my last Merit, I still gave it to you  Tongue). It only shows that sources are not enough and it is still difficult for them to locate those quality posts.
Quote
Needing better posters is glaringly obvious to anyone who can read.  I do agree that there needs to be a better way of finding posts that need merits.  Some months ago, we had threads being made by members who had some merits to give out, asking people to "apply" for some merits.  Inevitably, all the shitposters on the forum would flock to those threads, and they became a mess.  Actmyname had such a thread going and he even said he'd give out neutral trust if shitposters wasted his time--and of course they didn't read that warning and did it anyway.
I also made a thread where I merit members who can provide helpful threads before but eventually I only Merited one member because all remaining posts provided by other users are totally not too helpful nor having any sense. I also participated in actmyname's  "14 Merits for quality posts" (can't remember the exact title of the threads) a couple of months ago and end up having a Neutral trust as I'm considered as a spammer. But fortunately, he removed it as I improved my posts quality Smiley

All I want to say is, giving sMerits for members who can provide quality posts aren't bad idea at all. So that, it won't be difficult for Merit Sources to look for good posts.

It will also be better if every local board has it's own trusted, reputable, and responsible Merit sources.
Quote
I'm sure there would be abuse with shitposters working really hard on one post, submitting it, and then continuing to put no effort whatsoever into their other posts.
Those are the kind of users I encountered before in my thread. They will submit a "somehow good posts" and "somehow merit-able" but since the rest of their posts are totally trash, I ignored giving them any Smerits and leaving them good advice that they should improve their selves. They are only making a single thread where they can possibly receive Merits and then continue spamming again.
237  Economy / Reputation / Re: Peejet Nagesh021 vs PEEMAN ( TMAN ) on: August 19, 2018, 07:40:01 AM
I like to play PubG and SOLO... U never know when I'll turn around and shoot Nagesh021...  Tongue Tongue
As far as I know, friendly fire are not working in Pubg (in mobile, not sure in PC version) except if you throw a grenade to your allies or hit them by a vehicle or push them in a cliff  Tongue

But yeah as of now hunting homophobes like @cabalism seems way better.
Okay you better stop it now. Seems like the debate has been off for now or it already ends. What a relief, I'm also running out of popcorns.
238  Economy / Reputation / Re: How To Find A Connected Account (Bounty Cheaters) on: August 19, 2018, 05:00:07 AM
I addition on how to find connected accounts. Here is an additional trick.

First, go to the posts history of the target user and look for any bounty application posts like this for example. (I will use this user as an example as this user attempted to impersonate theyoungmillionaire).

In this trick, we will use other informations like "Telegram usernames, Twitter links or username and facebook links or username". Now get the username of the Telegram and paste it in the search textbox and hit "Search".

Then here's the result.

As we can see there are four different users who used the same Telegram username we searched and these are the users thienngabh3, tacanban, JongJun Lee and including theyoungmillionaire007. But first we must confirm that those Telegram Username were originally posted and not quoted by these users by checking the links of posts from the results or else we might end up accusing wrong users.
Just like @JongJun Lee in the blue box, this user were included in the results but he/she just quoted @theyoungmillionaire007's posts so it means he/she is not connected with these accounts.

Example :
users connected to theyoungmillionaire007

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4666706.msg42384346#msg42384346

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4044551.msg41729081#msg41729081

Not connected but included in the results.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4494119.msg41328157#msg41328157

So that's how it works, same procedure with the twitter and facebook links/username.

1. Get the target's social media username or link.
2. Search.
3. Check results.
4. Compile all connected accounts.
5. Done.

Hope it helps.

Whew, glad to catch up the entertainment here. I've just noticed that another debate are rising here.

Feels like I'm watching a 2v2 game of Dota 2 players trash talking to each other  Grin

Sentinel                            Scourge
TMAN                               Nagesh021
cabalism13                      allahabadi

By the way I just came by to watch how it ends, please continue...

I would buy a gun and shoot my cock off and then I'd shoot my head off.

Oh please don't. That's gonna take ages to wash off my screen.
Its permanent. Sorry to tell you but you can't do anything to wash it off from your screen.
240  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account seller on: August 19, 2018, 03:20:51 AM
I gave the user a Negative feedback as well and I think DT members are needed to paint red paint in his/her wall. Anyway nice job hunting it down.

Yeph, don't worry about its buyers, they will just end up being scammed for sure.
