721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2018, 12:59:00 PM
With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?
Just a simple trick.
1. Whenever Bitcoin goes down, HODL your bitcoin and buy bitcoins or invest because when bitcoin's price is down, it is a good opportunity to but bitcoin with less value. I recommend to buy bitcoin as much as you can then hold it.
2. When Bitcoin's price goes up again. This is the right time to sell, but keep in mind that before selling your bitcoins. You must calculate first if selling your bitcoin with the present price will give you a huge profit or not. If not, then keep holding it and wait for a higher price until the price satisfied you. Always remember, keep your patience because it really takes time before you reach your desired price.
722  Economy / Exchanges / Re: COINS.PH are now Accepting ETherium! on: March 04, 2018, 12:44:39 PM
I already heard about that news that coin.ph is also accepting etherium but i also heard but for now not all coin.ph wallet have an etherium but some other coin.ph user is already have etherium
It is because their coins.ph app is not updated. The old coins.ph still doesn't support Ethereum. It must be updated in Google Playstore.

And one more thing, before you can be able to use or receive Ethereum to your coins.ph Ethereum wallet. You must pay 20Php first hehe.

I already heard about that news that coin.ph is also accepting etherium but i also heard but for now not all coin.ph wallet have an etherium but some other coin.ph user is already have etherium

It is maybe a beta version(?) so not all user had this feature. I had mine updated at this moment and I also had eth wallet as a feature. I don't know  if the phone brand  is one of the reason but I think it is not definitely the main problem. By the way I am using Vivo s5 lite for reference.
Nope, its just outdated.
723  Economy / Exchanges / Re: COINS.PH are now Accepting ETherium! on: March 04, 2018, 12:40:43 PM
Yeah, I already saw this one. I'm also using Coins.ph as my bitcoin wallet and it's latest update now supports Ethereum, and tested in my Zenfone 3 max (OP's phone is latest) . It's good to know that coins.ph is now accepting ethereum but, I still prefer Myetherwallet because MEW is erc20 supported wallet and I'm sure coins.ph is still buggy since it just recently released a new feature. I will be looking forward to coins.ph to become erc20 supported wallet.

what is that website? I opened it and it seems to me like some kind of phishing site. Everyone please be careful and don't click on the lnk unless you're sure it's legit web
It's not a phishing site, coins.ph is a legit bitcoin wallet usually used by Filipino. You can try using it if you want and I assure you that it is secured and pretty handy.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Continue believing in Bitcoin when the government says not to? on: March 04, 2018, 01:12:51 AM
Government only says not to trust Bitcoin because they want us to support banks. As we can see some Government are against bitcoin,  because Bitcoin is starting to envade other country's banks now. No matter what they say to destroy bitcoin's image. Its too late for then to turn our heads away from bitcoin now because we already proved that bitcoin is a good benefit. Government can't be able to do anything to stop Bitcoin's prevalence, bitcoin is unstoppable as it look forward to be the future Currency.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: March 04, 2018, 01:01:58 AM
They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?
Yes. It will positively affect us if we use bitcoin as payment to our daily expenses. When buying clothes outdoor, it is much safer to use bitcoin as a payment for buying clothes or other staff outside because here in our country, snatchers and other bad people can steal your money but with bitcoin, they can't be able to steal any money from you because with just your device you can buy anything. The only problem using bitcoin as payment is,first without internet. Because without internet you cannot be able to access you bitcoin wallet, thats why Internet is necessary at all time. Second problem is, the transaction fee. Although transaction fee is not too expensive, using it daily and deducting a little amount of fee everytime you pay using bitcoin will be a large amount of bitcoin deducted to you too.
But in overall, I think bitcoin is still a positive affect.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Crystal Reign | Signature Campaign | Hero's + Legendary's | ETH + CRS Token on: March 03, 2018, 09:56:57 AM

727  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: March 02, 2018, 08:55:28 AM
I am using this kind of method too and it is really an effective way to save money. Smiley Whenever I want to buy something my friend will contradict everything I'll say. Cheesy He makes me realize that I should be wise in spending and that it is'nt easy to earn. You should give it a try. Try to monitor your expenses too.
Awwwts. That was sad, I never knew that one of your friends saves money for you. I think the "friend" you were talking about is your boyfriend. Because he's the only one I knew who saved your money. But in this posts of yours. You said that it was your friend. You can't even mention your boyfriend. That feels so sad. I hope he didn't see this post. It will really make him so sad. You know, he's really grouchy.
My formula on saving money is (income - savings = expenses) you can put the 25% of your income to your bank account. That's the best tip for me to save money.
That is a good idea. Saving 25% of your income to bank will really save money. By the way, do you save money to bank every week or everyday? But I guess its every month isn't? But, let me give you some tip. Besides from saving your money to bank, why don't you try to invest some of your income to bitcoin when bitcoin's price is down. In this way, you saved money you also earn money when you sell it when bitcoin's price go back up again.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: spreading of Bitcoin on: March 01, 2018, 12:36:54 PM
I am curious about bitcoin, because until today bitcoin still exist. even its value, makes bitcoin become crypto king. what is the secret behind bitcoin success ?and if spreading of bitcoin can be stopped,
Let me tell you something. Bitcoin has no secret. Bitcoin is nowadays most expensive and valuable digital currency  and it is one of the reason why bitcoin keeps existing. No one can stop Bitcoin's prevalence becuase bitcoin is just getting started to spread as it will still exist in the future. Bitcoin is something like a future money. I'm sure that someday in the future, money will become digital too. Inspired by Bitcoin.

who is the most benefited and disadvantaged ?
Everyone who uses bitcoin are the benefited and I think the disadvantaged are those people who didn't even know what is bitcoin.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST BITCOIN WALLET? on: March 01, 2018, 12:14:54 PM
If you like a secured wallet, you can try using hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor. Electrum for android phone is a secured wallet too. You can donwload Electrum in Google Play Store and I since I'm a Filipino I will also recommend you to use Coins.ph. It is trusted by many Filipino and other people from different country. And let me clear something. You are looking for a secured wallet right?  actually all Bitcoin wallet (Those trusted wallets only) are secured. You will only lose your wallet account if you are careless with your private key or password. Also those people who are victims of phishing sites are careless.

To avoid phishing,
1.Just dont click any links sent by pm from an unknown person
2.Dont click unknown links or websites. It has a possibility that it is a phishing site.
3.Think before you click

To avoid being scammed,
1. Don't trust someone you just met in social media or internet.
2. Make some observations. This is Important.

These are just some tips to avoid phishing and scam. It is not the wallet's fault if you lose your Bitcoin or you wallet account. Remember, all bitcoin wallet has their own pros and cons. All of them are secured. It only depends on you on how you take care of them.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ThoreCOIN Twitter Bounty on: March 01, 2018, 11:10:50 AM
I think this is in a wrong section. Since you are offering altcoins not bitcoin as your bounty payment,  This belongs to Altcoin Services. Kindly move this thread Sir.

And just a reminder. Your campaign need more information regarding to your ICO Project. Please provide more details or link to your ANN Thread.

731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: March 01, 2018, 10:29:20 AM
Actually, Philippines already accepted bitcoin since the day when Central Bank of the Philippines accepted bitcoins. I think it is about months ago. Maybe they're just spreading information about bitcoin to Filipino Citizens which is a good news to every Filipino. Philippines is so lucky to adopt bitcoin as payment. It will greatly benefit all of Filipino who uses bitcoin. I'm thankful that I'm also a Filipino and Bitcoin is Proven Legal to our Country. Seminars and other activities to share information about bitcoin is a good idea. Hoping to order in Lazada using Bitcoin as payment soon.

Also, a lot of Filipinos are already supporting bitcoin from the start. We even have our own country's Bitcoin wallet which is Coins.ph.
Well, its good to see good news again.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about avoiding scam on: March 01, 2018, 12:13:59 AM
Signature campaigns are not managed by the forums, so there shouldn't be a need for the forum staff to do anything to protect users from scam signature campaigns.

Nobody is forcing members to join campaigns, and I think the problem lies in the fundamental issue of people joining the forums (not just the campaigns) for the wrong reasons.

Your signature space is YOUR space. Signature campaigns pay you to utilize this space; a rental, if you will. The signature can be whatever they designate, and they pay you in return, but you, as a signature campaign participate, should at least personally endorse the space that you are renting. Just because they're promising to pay you for the space doesn't mean it's a necessity. I personally have only been part of signature campaigns where I have no problems endorsing the product. YoBit, Bitmixer, and now ChipMixer. I've used all of these services, so I have no problems with waving their flag in my signature spot.

With all of that said, if a company is not willing to escrow the funds for campaigns on the forums here, the participant/applicant is knowingly taking a risk by joining the campaign. How does this fall into the responsibility of the forum staff? Why should it? These are 3rd-party services and have nothing to do with the responsibilities and duties of forum staff members.

Do you want to avoid scams? It's pretty simple: If it looks like a scam and sounds like a scam, chances are that it is a scam. Walk away. Simple.
Hi Sir, I didn't mentioned in my thread that it was our forum's staffs responsibility. All I'm trying to say is, to somehow require an escrow to every campaigns made in >Services. Yes, you are right about our signature is a rental space and it is up to us if we are going to join in a suspicious campaign and we all knew that its risky but because we wanted to earn. We will be forced to join. But if you can notice, some campaigns are only made to scam people. They are fooling us for endorsing their project for free and there is nothing we can do to receive our payment once the campaign is done and no update for the payments. And I think the only solution for scam issues in campaigns is by having an escrow. This is not just to avoid people to get scam but this is to avoid scam projects too.

There are a lot of people scammed in the past, too many time has been wasted and I know you hate it too didn't you Sir? I know you hate scam projects too. You're just too lucky to have YoBit, Bitmixer and ChipMixer to be your company because the manager who handles those Campaigns are trusted Members of the forum. Also this idea will be favorable to campaign escrows hehe I guessed.

I know I asked too much for this idea. But I will be glad if you lend me some support Smiley I acknowledged you Sir.

737  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as national currency? on: February 27, 2018, 09:25:24 AM
I'm pretty sure that bitcoin will be definitely used in the future but, making it as a national currency of a particular country would be impossible. It will be difficult for a country to acknowledge bitcoin as their national currency because bitcoin has many users throughout the world, and some people acknowledged bitcoin as an asset only. There is a possibility that some country will use digital currency as their national currency in the future but I think those will be Alternative Coins. Not Bitcoin.
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Not a scam? Then prove it. on: February 26, 2018, 04:46:23 PM
Hi guys. A friend of mine told me to share this idea here in Beginners and Help Section. I just want to share this idea to newbies and all beginners here. I didn't move it here since it was recently moved to Bitcoin Discussion that is why I will just include the link here. Please take time to visit and comment your suggestions.

739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets talk about avoiding scam on: February 26, 2018, 03:58:45 PM
Thanks for your suggestions guys, it seems like all of you are right. I think we really need to implement this to our forum's rule so that we can be able to monitor if we're going to lessen scam projects here in the forum.

why this scammers exist in our world ? we bounty hunters help them to sell their token in social medias and other campaign materials. then when ico is over they will run away and they will not send our allocated coins. hope admin will lessen this scammer icos because it is waste of time and effort to all bounty hunters.
Scammers exist because there are lot of lazy and selfish people. They only do everything just for themselves that is why I called them selfish, and lazy because these scam projects only relied to its participants to make advertisements about their project but eventually, they will just run away with the money. If they have no intention of paying their participants for advertising their project. Why don't they advertise their project with their own. What an annoying bunches of stupid people who only do frauds here. They must be eliminate in some way.

Very interesting topic. As a newbie I truly did not know how to differentiate between scam campains and knowing that some will use escrow to secure campain funds really helped. I will watch out for that info in the future. Now, where can I find out that info? Do solid campaings post on their treads about having secured funds on escrow? How can we make surr? Forgive my naivess! I am a newbie trying to navigate the world of crypto without get caught in the flood of scamms!
Yuph, sometimes we really can't  differentiate campaigns if they're scam or not. Because sometimes they are very promising and it attracts participants to join without hesitation. The only solution for suspicious campaigns is by having an escrow. Once a campaign is being escrowed, there is no chance for the campaign manager to scam its participants if the funds for payments is already handed to our trusted Escrows.

I have some opinion to avoid a scam, it is a true and legit information because it stated by my prof. in college and she is an IT graduate that is why she has an expertise when it comes to the word scam. The best thing to avoid scam is that, do not browse the url with http: because it is not secure. The only secure is the https:// and make sure that the color that is green. Smiley
Thank you for the information. But I think it's not scam the word itself. Sites where the url doesn't have "s" or "secured" for example is http:// is commonly used for making phishing sites. This is a way of some hackers to steal someone's account or password. That's why we must be careful in browsing in internet too. There are a lot of these phising sites in the internet just waiting for victims. Just always remember "Think before you Click".

Your idea is very great. Escrow indeed is needed in every bounty to avoid scams. We should not let our efforts go to waste and we must act immediately. But, we must also be aware of the project we are applying for. This is the first step to evade those scam ICOs. Read also the whitepaper and do background checks about their team to know if their project has a sense.
Indeed Sir.
