601  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: July 06, 2023, 07:13:05 AM
Just because the usage increases or there is good adoption all around the world, we can't expect the price of bitcoin to reach great heights. The market is speculative, which means any sort of news relative to bitcoin getting circulated around will have its impact on the price. This could turn down in the short or it keeps moving bullish.

Does its previous ath came as a result of large scale adoption. In my view ot isn't, what we experienced is the real growth that happened depending on the supply to the demand connected with good news that were getting reality around the market. Earlier when the price reached $20k to make its first ath, the move was unexpected. Everyone were hoping the price to be around $5k to $8k which took a big bounce and reached around $20k. Increasing usage will make the market stronger and not much in the rise of price.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 06, 2023, 06:42:56 AM
England Women and Australia Women were the dominant teams in Women's Cricket. The matches played between the two will always have good fight back. First match was close and Australia won the match chasing a target of 153 runs with one ball left and four wickets in hand. Second match went closer and England made themselves scoring a good target and defend Australia within the same. However we were able to see the dominance of Australia Women team as the performance were exceptional whether it is to chase or to defend. In the final T20 match higher chance of win is with Australia Women team.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will become stable currency? on: July 05, 2023, 11:58:20 PM
Expecting bitcoin to be stable is completely wrong. The way Bitcoin have been developed is to function upon the demand to supply which makes the market to be volatile. There were more predictions that the market will turn stable when the adoption of bitcoin reaches larger scale. According to my understanding amidst all good things happening around, it is really impossible for bitcoin to be stable. Also most of the people who were hard users of bitcoin never want this to happen.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 03, 2023, 11:58:15 PM
Jonny Bairstow was unlucky to get out in that fashion, if he had stayed with Stokes on pitch then England might have won the game.
Yeh absolutely Bairstow sudden and unbelievable runout or some call it stump almost nailed it England defeat because if some how they both manage to build partnership then Thier victory were confirmed, no doubt stokes scored some decent by it self by but after his dismissal Bairstow will be the only player which can Carry on the momentum but unfortunately it not,  Some how in this second match defeat top order were responsible because in such a high target chasedown they didn't add good figure of runs which cut down mountains of difficulties for middle order.

The top order was definitely responsible for England's defeat. As you said, batting at such a huge target, a decent score was definitely needed from the top order. But the top order was a failure. Even then Ben Stokes tries his best. Maybe England could have won if he had stayed at the crease. But after such a poor performance from the top order England had no chance of victory. We have seen poor batting from England in both the Test matches. I doubt if their batsmen can perform well in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
Top order performance is a must in these matches. When the top order perform well, automatically the middle order and the tail will have their contribution as they get the opportunity to play without pressure. Think about Stokes, how much pressure could've been handled by him. Beyond some point he can't manage, if the other end is a batsman then he'll be little relaxed. Here the non striker end also need to be considered and handled. A great innings from him amidst the loss.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall or rise? $30400 the recent price on: July 03, 2023, 11:45:11 PM
After the SEC did not want to approve bitcoin spot ETF, bitcoin fall from $31000 back to $30400 as of today price. Bitcoin has been staying between $29400 and $31250 since many days. The support as been at $30000 while the resistance as been at $31000. The market is difficulty to know which position to take. What are you people predicting that bitcoin price would be? Is bitcoin breaking the resistance and increase above $31000 which could take the price to $35000, or bitcoin price is getting back to $25000 again?
I don't that all small speculation of sec can bring setback in cryptocurrency and bitcoin mostly but I believe that bitcoin will regain it price which I know very well so if bitcoin price increases again without any bridge I believe that the price will be more large than the initial, because what I know concerning bitcoin is that Bitcoin price rises when the demands is higher
Recently the price drop took place associated with the setback from SEC, same also caused the bitcoin dominance have some decline while the altcoins moved high. It is said altcoin season could test the market, but once again bitcoin rise is on the track. The price have crossed the resistance barrier $31000 and this reaching $35000 or more depends on the correction phase that takes place whenever there is good price movement on the bullish side. This gives an outview that $25k is possible.

Netherlands vs Oman
~~snip~~
It is fascinating to watch this cricket match between Oman and the Netherlands develop. Netherlands made it clear that they were the dominate team by displaying their strength and tenacity. You were right on the money with your prediction the Netherlands won this match by an incredible 74 runs. I would like to congratulate the Netherlands on a job well done and also Vikramjit Singh performed a spectacular innings of 110 runs off 109 balls and Wesley Barresi came close to a century with 97 runs off 65 balls both of which were outstanding batting efforts. Your confidence in the Netherlands' superior qualities was strengthened by the way they actually displayed their prowess in this match
Netherlands scored 362 runs and on the other hand, Oman scored 246 runs in 44 overs left to play and only 6 overs were played in their remaining 6 overs, it was not possible to complete the target of 362 runs. Netherlands won the DLS method by 74 runs. To be honest I have never seen Oman do well in cricket they are not good at cricket. And Netherlands is very good at cricket so nothing impossible happened here. The victory of the Netherlands was natural and fair

I would say both the Netherlands and Oman teams have performed well. The Netherlands team was in pretty good shape. Oman's inexperienced bowlers batted well. In 48 overs they managed to collect a huge total of 362. Oman's chances of winning against the Netherlands were slim. And they can't even win. Still, the Oman team managed to perform well. The team collected 246 runs in 44 overs. The Oman team is new and inexperienced. That is why their performance can be considered as very good performance.
Addition of more teams in the world cup will give opportunity for these teams in the next season of World Cup. It is always important that the small teams should have matches between small teams as well as qualified teams. Only through regular match schedule these teams could get better experience and perform well. Even without much of experience these teams are at their best. Both the teams have got foreign players which too a reason for its better performance.

I have actually only one bet on for today and thats with Bublik - I really hope his recent
great form is not short lived and he can win today against McDonald, Its currently on serve
in the first set 3 - 3

Bublik is good, but he is down at the moment, and I usually avoid players that are mid range and recently had good tournament result, IMO, there is no players except for Djokovic and Alcaraz that can connect two finals in a row, on any surface, and grass is probably hardest to do that

my bet is on Hanfmann, currently up against Fritz, had him to win set, but also to win match on higher odds/smaller bet
Djokovic started good, easy win, although tie-break had to be played in third set
At some critical point the match between Fritz and Hanfmann have got suspended due to darkness. More matches have been suspended whereas it is the only match that is at the deciding set where Fritz leads 3-2. Tomorrow both playing the deciding set with full energy could turn the match in any direction. A great comeback from Fritz, if not the match could've been won by Hanfmann long back and the points were 4-6 6-2 6-4 5-7 2-3.
608  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Belarus wants to ban bitcoin P2P transactions on: July 03, 2023, 10:47:37 PM
In a country where the population is less than 10 million it isn't a big thing to stop P2P and other services that are connected with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Most of the time it is the people who make the government to take a stand against crypto. Here also it is the fraudulent activity of a particular person had made the government pass the new order which states no more P2P crypto trades.

Be grateful for what God have given you. Atleast we were able to live within a shelter, have good food and meet our basic needs. If one have got all this, then he's rich according to me. Different people have difference of understanding and meaning for rich. Just try to make your family comfortable with what you earn. In the name of I'm living for my family never end up getting into unlawful and unethical jobs that could make you completely out of reach from your much loved family, close relations and friends.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting bitcoin besides the profit making idea. on: July 02, 2023, 11:04:16 PM
Even the technology wise advanced people find it difficult to understand the real purpose of bitcoin. When we come up with the goodness they'll cite something else and say all that you mentioned can be performed here. With some users it is impossible to explain how good is the technology and functioning on the decentralised style.

I'll explain the usage with comparison which will easily gets fixed on the minds than just explaining. Bitcoin's limited supply will be explained against the currencies that are simply printed. The process involved in a transaction through a bank and how bitcoin can be transacted. This comparison will give the understanding about the simple way of sending any big volume of funds.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gospel Preachers: Is Bitcoin the Last Currency in the World? on: July 02, 2023, 10:49:11 PM
The purpose behind bitcoin is to fulfil the common people's need as the centralized fiat have failed to do it. Over time we will come across more technology as well as new invention that are superior to the one that is already in usage. I'm not a biblical scholar, based on few of the response it looks like the Bible verse had indicated something else and not the currency.

Even if the currency is the mentioned one, I don't think world will get unified under bitcoin and all other currencies go unused. Everything is all about choice, people look for choice and bitcoin is one amongst. As people are getting much adopted to the technology we consider bitcoin as the thing whenever some discussion arises related to bitcoin.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks offering investing in Bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 10:33:26 PM
Though the banks are with full of flaws, it have gained the trust of common people as it serves as the primary source through which they were able to do their transaction, savings, investment, and different schemes. A person introducing about bitcoin and a person working in a bank explaining about bitcoin have got difference. Those people will show the advantageous part of bitcoin whereas a common bitcoiner explain the risks too. Anyhow this is really a big thing and much needed one to reach the bottom people.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 02, 2023, 02:35:19 PM
It was a damn funny, not just run-out but a meltdown after that as well. Plenty of drama so far which is suitable for spectators.

Atm everything is possible because Ben Stokes is there and he seems so changing gears so i won't count England out right now. Cummins should bowl against him more, it's a good match up as both of em are clutch players.

Just as the runs are being scored by the England and Ben Stokes achieved 150 runs, the match is tilting towards the England side.
Now that England has only 75 more runs left to win and they still have 4 wickets in hand, this may be the best for England.

Australian bowlers are running out of runs and if the target reaches below 50 with still Strokes and Stuart Broad on the batting crease, I guess we can put the money on England winning.  Remember the last wicket fell on 193 and now the score is 296. More than 100 runs partnership is hurting Australia badly.

After watching the hard fight Stokes did, I personally want England to win the match. Now things have turned in favour of Australia as Stokes have caught out at 155. Hazlewood gave the break at the right moment. England have lost 9 wickets and once again England gonna lose the match for some unexpected errors that happened in the match.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 02, 2023, 02:49:55 AM
Does anyone follow the T20 blast series conducted in England. In the T20 match played between Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire Shaheen Afridi have made a record taking four wickets in the first over of the match. Nottinghamshire scored 168 runs batting first. Warwickshire lost four wickets in the very first over, but the team managed to win the match by 2 wickets and 5 balls left. More T20 leagues have been taking place while a few are popularly followed by cricket fans. Surprised to see 18 teams involved in the league. The grouping is done South and North which is also better way for high competence.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 02, 2023, 01:09:05 AM
It isn't going to be easy for England to collect 257 more runs on the final day with the remaining 6 wickets. The pitch has become very difficult for batting now. Duckett and Stokes partnership is giving a little hope to England, but I think Australia will take the match in their favour in the first session of tomorrow. I hope Australia will take 2-0 lead by winning the second test match.

I think England need to pray for rain because I do not see them scoring enough runs to take the series to 1-1. Even batting out the whole of day 5 looks close to an impossibility.

I just checked the weather forecast @ Lord’s for tomorrow and no rain is expected. Maybe Stokes needs to lead a rain dance?
Rather than praying for rain, it would be good to pray that no wickets should fall in the first session of the final day. If that happens, surely pressure will increase on the bowling end. If the two on the crease play same as how they played in the fourth day there is no need of taking the match to the final session as the team continue to maintain the runrate around 4 runs per over.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 01, 2023, 08:55:26 PM
In the past we had decentralised gambling platforms in which people of any age can spend their money gambling. Nowadays those aren't available anymore and everyone signing up is required to fulfill KYC. Through this the underaged ones can be restricted from using the platforms. Even this is being bypassed with the verification details of parents or closer ones who are at the legal age to gamble. Underaged people gambling have brought big wins and there are examples of winner handling it in a mature manner. Same time there are people who end their lives after big losses.

I'm going today with the seeded player as I would say Joca97 is too! he's not a bad
price @ 1.68 on Rollbit but Eubanks is close at 2.2

I will put something on Eubanks, IMO, they have similar chances to win, and Eubanks pays much better
@1.67 seems to be a bit low for Mannarino win, he is not a grass player, and I would not be surprised to see him losing this match

maybe Eubanks to win set, on similar odds is even better bet, but I would probably go with his win

Cerundolo reached final, although not being favorized by bookies, thinking to put him to win as well, but Paul seems as better pick, not sure

Well im going with Mannarino again to win the whole thing. He has experience like i said behind him and Eubanks just reached his first ever atp final. Plus currently odd dropped on Mannarino from 1.70 to 1.55 and this means that a lot of people are betting on him. Eubanks needs to hold his good serve if he loses it once he will lose the set for sure. Maybe over games should come in this match.
Eubanks leads the match 1-0 as the first set is won 6-1. The odds of Mannarino have increased @3.50, who have been thinking of betting on Mannarino and missed it can choose to bet now. Eubanks seems dominant from the very first point of the match.
It is Eubanks to win the Mallorca Open final against Mannarino 6-1 6-4 in direct sets. Both the players were on the same scale of performance as well as had closer odds before the start of the match. This is the first time Eubanks have reached the finals and he have won it easily. With the winning power Eubanks is to play against Brazil player Monteiro in the Wimbledon.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 01, 2023, 05:18:18 PM
Being financially free is the biggest expectation of each and every people around the world. When someone finds it, he/she will enjoy the life and the stress will come down. Most of the people's stress were due to the need for money and thinking on how to overcome the debts. Personally I want to follow my passion, but that will disturb my family as I can't financially support them. If I get strong financially I'll never think about money and I'll follow my passion. Maybe in the short run I won't be able to earn, but in the long run the same could be successful.

Investing is the right choice that could help in all situations. For this reason diversified investment will be preferred along with some schemes that are really helpful during the time of retirement.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 01, 2023, 05:12:35 PM
^^ BCCI might be rich and generate more than enough revenue in the context of the ICC setup.
But they are still shitty when it comes to their own cricketing infrastructure. If we leave out VIP boxes then it's a very sad situation in every stadium, Motera might be exceptional but the ones i have attended so far, the majority of em were really bad. During IPL they are okay but everything goes down to shit when it's over.
The state governments also impose tax of up to 28% over the ticket price (on top of that, they charge exorbitant amounts for providing security and ruling politicians demand thousands of complementary passes). And they never do anything for the cricket fans. I understand the criticism directed towards the BCCI, but not everything is black and white here. In India, attending cricket matches is considered as a luxury, and politicians believe that they should tax such super-rich people to the brim. An example here:
https://www.indiatoday.in/cities/thiruvananthapuram/story/kerala-minister-abdurahim-entertainment-tax-tickets-india-sri-lanka-thiruvananthapuram-odi-2319587-2023-01-10
The problem is almost all the politicians in the subcontinent are corrupt. And another big problem is India is mostly run by the Modi government. There is basically no opposition party in India. So if the general population has any problem, they cannot say anything because the government will send people who basically “does not exist” to “handle” the situation.
In other countries, we see that if the general population has any problem with the opposition party raises voice, and the government takes that into consideration and makes the changes that are needed. But India basically has become a dictatorship under the Modi government. So whatever the politicians do is going to be the final decision.
Agreed, but there were more things that comes into the priority. Just on humanity basis there is no support for the people. In such a situation we can't expect things to happen in order with cricket. Political involvement shouldn't be there with politics. This is where we can experience the change. Even the players are worse, because they complete their days in cricket. Once after that joins the political party. In recent years more players have joined under Modi which should have never happened. Just for their own goodness they join parties.

Well, of course, the players are going to join the party of Modi. Because if someone is actually supporting the opposition party, they will have a huge list, even on their life, let alone their career. So right now, even if people genuinely don’t like the Modi government they are still joining because they want to have the privileges that come with being in support with the government. And eventually, that is making the government stronger. This is just the opposite of what should have been happening. When people are joining the government instead of raising a voice against them, you know that the situation is bad.

Another worst thing that had happened with Indian cricket is the naming of ground in the name of the Prime Minister who doesn't have any knowledge about cricket. When more and more popular sportsman who had stood strong for the country are there, the political involvement lets them name the biggest ground as Narendra Modi Stadium. Cricket is popular in India, and the same is being used by the political parties for their benefits. Mix-up of politics and sports, this could create hatred when governments overrule.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 01, 2023, 02:04:54 PM
Now it's almost confirmed that West Indies will not qualify for the ODI World Cup this year. Scotland needs just 89 more runs, with 9 wickets in hand. And if by some miracle Scotland can win their remaining two matches (against Zimbabwe and Netherlands), then they will be able to qualify to the World Cup. At this point, it looks like Sri Lanka will qualify with ease. And this is going to be the first time that West Indies could not qualify for the ODI World Cup. They were the champions in 1975 and 1979, and played all the editions to date.

I will be happy if West Indies do not qualify for the World Cup. Because West Indies players are more interested in various franchise leagues than national team matches. West Indies players have not much desire to play in ODI and Test formats. They are very strong in the T20 format. And the West Indies team has been weak in ODI and Test formats ever since the senior players of the team retired. The West Indies Board did not make any attempt to solve this problem. And as a result, this team is not able to qualify for the World Cup.
In the history after 48 years West Indies have failed to qualify for the World Cup. The players showing much interest on franchise leagues is not by interest, but due to the salary and other issues that were running between the players and the West Indies cricket board. Lately it was during Lara in the team, West Indies were good in Test format cricket. For some time period they were good in ODI cricket and mastered T20 format cricket. Finally a big defeat in the qualifier isn't an expected one from West Indies, because the experience it holds compared to rest of the teams on the qualifier round is very big.
