421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dreaming That I'm Playing In A Casino, Do You Have One, on: August 19, 2023, 10:53:41 PM
In my area they say that dreams are the flowers of sleep which sometimes means good luck or bad luck. That's why sometimes people in my area when they dream something they will associate the dream with numbers and then they will take the numbers for the lottery. But I don't really believe in that because dreams are just dreams and don't need to be linked to anything.

Same here it is just our subconscious getting active.  Unless one is a prophet, the dreams only mean nothing.  That is why I never get serious about my dream and never take notice of it as if it is just a thought that happen in my mind.

In my place, there are also many people who translate a dream into a number so that they buy the corresponding ticket according to their translation, and often times these people do not win.
Different regions have different forms of interpretation for the dreams. In my country if a person see a negative dream like death or something then it is said that good thing will happen for him soon. I'm not sure how far this is true. In such way a dream with the losing moment could bring a win, but none gets to see such dream during their sleep. It is true that our subconscious active thinking gets reflected as dream.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 19, 2023, 10:19:30 PM
A big congratulations to Sweden.
Sweden has now won the Women's World Cup bronze medal four times. They deserve to be recognized for their exceptional accomplishment in winning the bronze medal in the Women's World Cup four times in a row. On the other hand, by placing fourth in the Women's World Cup, the Australian women have created a new history. Congratulations to them, as it takes a lot of effort to compete at that level (fourth place).
Sweden is really strong to contend any team. Four times bronze medal winner in a row is not an easy thing. The team have got consistency in its performance. On the other hand Australia have given tough fight and surely the experience will let the team to be better in the upcoming matche.

The final to be played today. No one can be considered the favourite, as most of the users picked it is England to win the match. We don't know how far the match gonna happen. I expect the win to be decided on penalty shootout as both the teams could complete in a draw.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 19, 2023, 05:09:52 PM
Ronaldo's team lost 2-0 in this match against Al Nassr vs Al Taawoun. Al Nassr has been a strong team this season but their poor performance is really disappointing. The fact that they started losing matches like this at the beginning of the season is not a great sign for them at all. They lost two matches each and could not increase their points in the points table this season instead they are still at the bottom of the table with 0 points. But Al Nassr must prepare well otherwise they may not win the match, so all players must improve their game to win the match.
Al nassr was just facing back to back lost. It's a very hard situation for ronaldo. He feels so desperate about it. Al nassr probably got two chances for penalty, but the referee didn't care about that. The fans were going so crazy and they booed him during the match. We are still far away from the middle of season. I do believe al nassr will able to come back stronger. I didn't even expect how taawoun was able performing so well during the match.
Ronaldo has been trying so hard in scoring for nassr but i can understand if he is not lucky enough. It's so strange to see how the fans were not even supporting him.
Nassr will come back soon. The club needs to bounding.
The world is watching as Ronaldo is playing for Al-Nassr. The league itself gained popularity in a much larger scale once after Ronaldo signed contract with Al-Nassr. Such a team with popular players experiencing consecutive loses were much into discussion. The blame for the loss is much upon Talisca for missing a much closer opportunity to make a goal. After the Arab Club Championship Trophy winning Al-Nassr could've got boost with the performance. Things weren't the same and Al-Nassr need to make something to win matches.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 19, 2023, 03:26:12 PM
Today will be the second match of New Zealand vs UAE T20 series. In the first match, New Zealand batted first and collected 155 runs, United Arab Emirates were all out for 136 runs, New Zealand won by 19 runs. New Zealand won the first match of the three-match series. If New Zealand wins the match today, they will win the series. UAE will try to play well in today's match. New Zealand's chances of winning today's match are very high. I think New Zealand will win the match today.
Match has been started and UAE win the toss and decided bowling.I think UAE's decision to bowl this time was right and this time this decision will be a win for them.Because New Zealand's batting performance is looking very poor this time.new Zealand have 38 run in 6 over and lost 3 wickets.UAE are performing very well in bowling.A.khan took three New Zealand wickets at the same time.Due to which the New Zealand batsmen are looking under a lot of pressure at the moment. It seem that this time UAE will win this match.
New Zealand had good score in the powerplay, but the loss of wickets kept the team under pressure. With the responsible performance from Chapman(52*) and Neesham(20*) the team had made a comeback reaching 114-5 at the end of 16 overs. Probably we'll see the target to be close to the first match. The strong bowling order of New Zealand could make it a win for New Zealand with a target around 150-160 runs.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 19, 2023, 02:30:05 PM
We've got more ODI matches in the upcoming months. By the ongoing month end Asian Cup gonna start and soon after that ODI World Cup gonna start. By this time Ab De Villiers have come up with the prediction on the teams to reach the semifinals. Among them are the host nation India, defending champion England along with Australia. On the fourth spot there is much expectations on Pakistan, and his choice is different. Ab De Villiers have given the fourth spot for his own Country South Africa. Till date South Africa used to be unlucky and lets see if something good happens in this ODI World Cup.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Were Banks and Governments behind this Dump? on: August 18, 2023, 11:59:30 PM
Thank-you Elon, I now can add more at a cheaper price! Blending down my avg cost!
Could be used as the right time to accumulate. For now the clear picture isn't come out. Different sources mention it to be the effect out of the Elon Musk act. We don't know the reality behind. However this crash is a much expected one prior to halving. To my understanding this crash could continue till the the halving days and bump from there.
427  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: August 17, 2023, 11:38:35 PM
The big question is, can such a move save an economy that is already in shambles?

This is my point exactly. These people are only making matters worst for the citizens of their country. They won't put the money saved to good use. Instead, they just mismanaged these funds even further. The excuse that they can no longer pay for subsidies is trash. They are just looking for excuses to stop paying.

What's the point of stopping subsidies if everything in the country would become so expensive and increase inflation even further? Most of these politicians don't suffer the policies they make so they go about making any kind of policies they want.
Agreed, most of the politicians and the rich won't suffer any difficulty out of this. So, without proper understanding about the common man's life they just lift the subsidy provided to the suffering people. This shouldn't be done and surely those funds could've been redirected for something else that's unnecessary.

Really these subsidies play a major role in common people's life. In my region fishing is done and for the same fishermen were provided with subsidy on fuel for the boat, at times it looks like whats the need for subsidy. In reality the income varies depending on the season and by those days this used to be a big favour.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you will do? on: August 17, 2023, 11:33:09 PM
When my bets were on loss, the bet value keeps increasing. This is kind of thinking in my mind, need to recover what have been lost or end gambling for the day. In such a way to recover mere $50 I've lost $500 and all. This is really foolish and while gambling we don't understand. After the funds gets emptied, I used to think if I had stopped at the initial loss what could've been the result is just the loss of $50. One should not do this and this is really foolish attitude.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run: Is It Tied to the Next Halving? on: August 17, 2023, 11:28:30 PM
We can't be sure of the next bull run. Right now the market have crashed. This is completely expected and we can expect this to continue for some time period before making a bounce in the market. For now the discussion will get started, what was the reason behind the crash of the market. For now Elon Musk owned SpaceX selling a huge part of bitcoin holding is termed to be the reason. Lets see what all the other news getting added in connection with the drop in the price of bitcoin. For all who have been waiting for buying could concentrate on the market to make an entry at the right time.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong way to accumulate. on: August 17, 2023, 11:23:02 PM
Until a person find himself to be wrong or right, there is nothing to correct. The person does it based on his understanding about the market. Every people try to have their own technique and strategy while accumulating bitcoin. The best being buy when the price is at the bottom. It is really tough and the same could make us miss opportunity to buy at the lowest price. For this reason it is good to spend specific amount regularly on buying bitcoin. Along with the same DCA is really good against buying as a whole.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is centralized, will other cryptocurrencys survive ?. on: August 16, 2023, 11:55:13 PM
Bitcoin is decentralised and we've got more altcoins that are centralized. Those coins are successful in the market. Based on the decentralised functioning bitcoin is more popular, maybe this popularity could've been low as it is same as other currencies. Only the limited supply stands as the unique feature from the traditional currencies. The same could've made the usage come down.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 16, 2023, 10:47:37 PM
Asia Cup is coming soon but not seeing any hype from the broadcasters, atm they are busy with useless bilateral series against Ireland. Guess we'll start seeing some promo during the Ireland series.

And 1 good news for Indian fans, there are some reports coming out that Rishab Pant played in a practice match, not sure about the field but he did come to bat.

The broadcasters doesn't seem happy about the tournament, and it is understandable. The schedule is messed up. Some of the matches are taking place in Pakistan, and some in Sri Lanka. And this just adds complexity to the logistics for broadcasters. On top of that, too many India vs Pakistan matches are scheduled to happen in the next few months (including one in the upcoming Asian Games cricket tournament). BTW, I don't know what India is going to achieve by playing against Ireland. It is going to be a completely one-sided series.
We can't expect this to be one-sided series. If it is an ODI series, then the matches could've been won by India, but with T20 matches played anything could happen. Even the Ireland players are good in chasing targets, against a team like India they'll give the best. T20 match results can change in no time and I believe Ireland will win atleast one match. This isn't going to be one-sided series.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 15, 2023, 11:59:35 PM
I believe the researcher that make the statement that working from home will make people less efficient and productive than people who from their office make this statement base on the impression and statement once made by Elon Musk when he cancel the idea of Twitter employees working from home this is the exact statement he makes to be the reason why he cancels it.
Elon Musk have big thoughts and to execute those things isn't an easy thing. He saw the decline in the progress of the current X, and he made the claim over the employees. If he had analysed well about the reason behind the same, he could've understood that his activities were the reason behind and not the employees. In my view when people are provided with work from home they'll work in a much relaxed manner than having the pressure of reaching the office on time. Making arrangements for the lunch and all other additional tasks gets cut.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 14, 2023, 05:31:29 PM
During the starting days it is possible to see good volume of circulation happening around. Majority of the circulation is happened in supporting for gambling and other forms of investment. People always make choice on the amount invested, and the increased usage of bitcoin in gambling, money laundering and other few incidents made people consider bitcoin as a source for crime. This could change and now with the awareness more changes have happened.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the market still profitable for new projects? on: August 14, 2023, 05:24:16 PM
I don't remember the year exactly, but we used to see good number of ico getting launched often. Nowadays those have decreased much and the new projects only valued if they have fulfilled big expectation of common people. It is always good to stand some time between us. I've seen good projects reaching the market. Everyone requests in a much simple manner and the luck also the deciding factor.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 14, 2023, 05:15:15 PM
I wait for the time when 1 Satoshi is equal to a dollar. I have a good number of Satoshis in my hardware wallet and it will be good to see how much it get during that time. We would see this happen. The awareness and adoption rate is on the increase and the demand is rising too. This is making the price climb steadily. Next year before and after the halving, the price would be totally different. We would get there. Impossible is nothing.
Satoshi to one dollar is not possible for now. There is a saying, anything beyond the limit goes unused. In such a way the price of bitcoin to touch a dollar is simply impossible. Maybe after few decades this could happen. Slowly there is good progress in terms of adoption, usability and acceptance. Lets see whether this is going to make good pumping.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we improve our country's economy by on culture or ecosystem? on: August 14, 2023, 05:08:04 PM
It is possible, but there should be an independent organisation to work on it. The growth of the country relies on the diverse in culture and the government's act of producing more opportunities. Whether it is inflow or outflow of money, proper reason behind the same won't be having much impact on the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 14, 2023, 04:59:28 PM
I feel like real estate investments are safest ones unless you are on earthquake zones. But eventually this totally depends on country. Some countries like Japan is small but population is decreasing. Demand for real estates are constantly increasing only in countries where they make lot of babies + high migration. If we consider environmental crises too Europe is very likely good market for future because of these.
This can be seen all around the world. When it comes to real estate it is much connected with the locality. I've seen campuses that are completely isolated and surrounding common floor pattern. Those regions market will be bargained stating the poor people around. Real estate is a big source of income, but the way things handled around makes it a question. Europe is a big market, however the trend swift happening is common.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as good store for value on: August 14, 2023, 04:45:32 PM
, and in my opinion most people investing in btc are just looking for profit.

yes, indeed the goal of most people buying bitcoin is to make a profit, but of course there are also people who buy btc with the aim of store of value, and I personally also buy btc with the aim of making a profit. if store value I think gold is suitable as a store of value, but if btc in the future the price rises of course storing value in btc will be more profitable compared to gold but yes in this case it's up to the person who buys and because everyone has different opinions .
99% of people into bitcoin is much focused on profit making. If this doesn't have the market volatility with which the earning is possible, then bitcoin couldn't have gained such popularity and usage around the world. Bitcoin have multiple usage access is the big success and very few understand well about the technology and goodness of bitcoin.

Bitcoin as a store of value is a good choice. When a person's investments were made in the form of bitcoin, this helps good at times of inflation. However the risk of holding is there, because we can't enjoy the growth anytime. We should have the mind to maintain patience to experience the best outcome.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: August 14, 2023, 04:20:16 PM
Yeah and that's why gambling isn't for everyone because not all people have a good financial condition and not all people can afford to lose for entertainment. There are so many poor people out there, they need to take care and understand how to increase their life quality through other jobs. But they choose to gamble their money to earn more instead of learning a new skill and put some dedication into it.
The problem here is that those who are struggling with finance are the ones mostly into gambling. The more often vist online or physical casino to seek a big win. That turns out to be once in a while and later on the fall into gambling addiction. Gambling is not an entertainment source for the financially low income people but it is a way to overcome their financial difficulty. Those who are economically good take it as way to entertain themselves once in a while. So e onlf those don't even indulge in gambling and find other means to entertain themselves.
Agreed, people who were already with financial difficulty considering gambling as entertainment isn't possible. Even if they start as a entertainment source, over time the thoughts will vary and some might make the right exit. Majority end up losing more and more in the event of trying to win big money. More care to be given when one is into gambling. For people who want to try their luck, the best choice is to trying the lotteries. This will limit the spending and helps with the betterment of gambling experience.
