Can crypto make millennial more screwed or otherwise? Let’s discuss!

I really hope not. Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency can be considered as part of the millennial generation, if I am not mistaken with that statement. Now, as such, we can say they own this thing, in a broader sense of the word. We know that millennials command a big force in the cryptocurrency market. In a survey conducted, millennials see Bitcoin as the best alternative to gold. And although, some points you raised can be true, millennials can be considered as savvier when it comes to investing and trading compared to the past generations. Now, if we can convince these guys to save more for their future, we will have a perfect storm that can be building up more innovations and demand as well for the future of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. This generation is not screwed, no not ever, as each generation do have its own weaknesses and strengths as well.

There is no lacking of discussion how screwed they’re. Btw in a sense of independency, all millennials failed at it, they depend on their parent for hand out at some point, none of them can perfectly survive on their own.

First they spend more time on video games than any other generation, an average gen millennial spend 8 hours on games everyday! Ridiculous!

Can crypto make millennial more screwed or otherwise? Let’s discuss!

Since they like playing video games all day, they will treat bitcoin as a game also. But video games are digital, and bitcoin is also digital. They can apply their knowledge about the strategy that they learned in video games. Unfortunately, it is not related on money, so it is useless. Bitcoin will make them more lazy and unproductive. They will just wait for the price of bitcoin to rise. They will not think critically on when to trade to gain more profit. I think bitcoin will get them more screwed.

That’s the most hilarious reply I could have heard, I don’t know how many guys treat it as a game, but I know many treat it an investment that can turn into profit, and they’re setting up mining farm so that they can harvest all the profit for their personal gain, a far fetched from being a game.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: October 17, 2019, 02:38:02 PM
Now they spend more money on bitcoin than all generation!
This is actually an interesting thread to me, but do you have a link for your above assertion?
Crypto has never lack of news some millennial sold their entire belonging to buy bitcoin, Didi, Roger Vers, Binance of CZ, Vitalik Buterin of the Ethereum, Bobby Lee, Friedcat of the asicminer, Charlie Lee Litoshi etc  I think they’re all considered millennial

They deep on student loan
That's one of the things I hear most about millenials, and it's probably true.  Unfortunately I think a lot of college students these days are majoring in foofy subjects like gender studies and other ultra-liberal subjects and not in stuff that would give them specific skills in the workforce (like, you know, STEM).  I had to take out loans for college, but I was able to pay them back relatively quickly because I was able to get a job right after graduation in the field that I majored in.  You just can't do that when you study liberal arts offerings.
That’s so wrong in today market, I don’t think all of them have any market value, profit is all that matter not career, btw banking is above all career.

No.
I say yes. TLDR.

They basement dwellers
That's a silly characterization and is basically just an internet insult that predates millenials.

That’s could be years ago, when it was still a fresh new idea. It may no longer stand a meme, but a reality eventually.

First they spend more time on video games than any other generation, an average gen millennial spend 8 hours on games everyday! Ridiculous!

They basement dwellers

They deep on student loan

They no saving

They have no job security

Now they spend more money on bitcoin than all generation!

It never get bored millennial has been on the headlines since the god know when it all began.

Can crypto make millennial more screwed or otherwise? Let’s discuss!
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: The 2nd generation of banking is going digital on: October 17, 2019, 01:13:18 PM
No body will use the next generation banking, they will slowly cease to exist all together, and Libra PayPal would take their place for all the financial need for the true next gen.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: October 17, 2019, 01:10:35 PM
Bitcoin would increase or decrease vastly. And I bet the high odds on bitcoin to increase in anticipation of a stock market crumble, 20k, 100k May sound probable outcome. Don’t take my words for that, it all is a gambling guess as the expert love to quote you should do your due diligence.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: October 16, 2019, 12:22:23 AM
Bank are responsible for devaluation of the cash, the time president Nixon remove gold backing dollar standard all the irresponsible bank start their dirty job, borrowing their cash reserve to the second bank at fraction of 10 per dollar, and the second bank borrow to the third bank at the same fraction, and the third bank to the fourth bank, fourth to the fifth and to the infinite number of bank bailing out each other with scam factional banking. Now the same fraud bank want to tell us they finally destroy the cash, and even come with documentary, wow it’s great I would give them cookies for doing us a favor by killing cash.
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 15, 2019, 07:45:29 PM
That’s a lot of risk to take for the time being and 500 dollar may sound sound a lot of money back then, and I think it’s interesting how crypto miners are the one who help bitcoin to go mainstream and making commercial video and yt was new back then and many people are willing to spend time and watch the video entirely, Netflix do not even existed so we have no many choice to steam video over the internet, it is a very good publicity to date, and you tell me now I don’t even have a time for any yt video now, since there is amazon prime Netflix blah, yt seem so generic with spamming garbage promotional videos and not worth to visit anymore.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi in Oxford English Dictionary on: October 15, 2019, 07:31:12 PM
Of course it’s a welcoming sign, we would likely see more text book to include Satoshi and bitcoin into their syllabus, and school system would have no reason to question the reputation, and everything look positive.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Didi sold everything for Bitcoin on: October 15, 2019, 07:25:19 PM
He is just being lucky imagine the bitcoin now worth less than 10% worth of USD in contrast with his initially invested amount, he would have been telling the other story, and I’m seeing he would be begging for a living if the price continued to fall, and 20k ATH seem to be a mission impossible for the foreseeable future, the hype for bitcoin is likely over, I think most millennial would have know and invested into it, we wouldn’t have any more sheep to pump bitcoin to the next trajectory, and they’re the one group of population that have the highest spending power, don’t tell me we can hope for new group of rich investors to magically appear.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee To Launch New Decentralized Exchange – McAfeeDex on: October 14, 2019, 02:21:30 AM
I will wait for the next commercial from him how to remove mcafee from your pc, but this time completely cut off the tie from its root. And prepare to be slapped with all the kyc kys aml terrorist hacker in one full package with this dex.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statistics: Geez, I thought there were more females in bitcoin community on: October 14, 2019, 01:45:23 AM
Your wrong I see more and more medium articles written by female author and they’re all for the crypto, and I enjoy reading all of them, you wouldn’t believe it until you get your reality checked. And Google analytics is simply a worse tool one can rely on for any serious research, I’d say they’re mostly exaggerated or simply underwhelming.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Community With No Libra, Bakkt, ETFs and Institutions on: October 14, 2019, 01:38:21 AM
I can’t believe that two years has passed since the Libra news got announced and all the good ol’ Day of the hype we once enjoy the last crypto summer, btw they’re all here to rip any possible profit from crypto, so far their efforts are proved to be fruitless, I wouldn’t brother to spend even a few minutes of my life to know about their well being.
1093  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 14, 2019, 01:27:55 AM
That’s is massive! I’m not sure if it was true, because my inbox was always so full, and an email that sent from official site and then later informed it was hacked, it does smell fishy here, it could sound like we trust email too much, since we receive email verification for everything personal, idk who to blame now.😅
We do place a lot of trust in emails for a service that can pretty easily get spoofed all the time.

Most email providers, I know Gmail and outlook do for sure are pretty smart with this and are able to detect spoofed attempts and these services will usually highlight these scam attempts so you won't get fooled.

I think email is one of the notorious way to hijack into a PC, nobody would believe wanna cry was first spread through email attachment and it certainly bypass the gmail security system, of course there is still a lot of of hidden exploits that’s waiting to be unearthed, I know mobile number can’t be reliable since there is no security at all behind this ancient primitive technology, but we can’t afford to drop it yet to verify simply everything.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin DOES NOT have a Cap of 21 Million Coins!! on: October 10, 2019, 01:36:49 PM
The bitcoin reset itself after 256 years? I think it also reset all the balance in our wallet too, basically we have to mine bitcoin from block 0 all over again? No body is going to wait 256 years to start it over again. We can just fork the code to 1024 years, 2048 years, and start mining from block 0, but no body going to mine the forked coin.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 09:57:50 AM
Fiat would still buy me food rent and gadget, I don’t believe it would go away, but what you can buy with bitcoin? I know anyone can boost about how bitcoin are accepted in a number of services include rent, pizza, deepweb hackers, Amazon steam paypal blah, but they WAS accepted when the bitcoin is at ATH, when the price is dropping fast all the services cease to accept it. Can you stop buying food rent and gadget during the grace period? I hope not!
1096  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITSTAMP frozen my 10 btc and asking years worth of signed address transactions on: October 09, 2019, 09:45:14 AM
They will continue to harrass you and requesting your grand ancestors grand parent of the sibling of the boss of the name and the every valuable information they can harness, when you keep your btc in their hand, it’s not YOURS anymore, be prepare to be asked to do all the demand they want from you, they may even ask for a copy of your nude photo LOL.😂
1097  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 09, 2019, 09:29:17 AM

the op said that it was true but im still skeptical about it  .  why would you trust someone that you wont know ? everything can pretend online and even before scammers are already on the loose but until now i still recieve fake emails and spam emails that obviously want to take advantage from us .  thats true that email is important because we recieve such verfication but that is if we sign up or contacted the site , if thats not the case  , say they are the first one that email you then that is already untrustable  .

Op may be lying but I’m not going to ignore the possibilities of the said incident, because it’s part of the common opsec mistake everyone can eventually fall into it, by understanding the know-how of each scam, we can be certainly more prepared to prevent ourselves getting duped, btw email scams look to be some of the most creative scams one can imagine, it’s not unusual to receive the same letter for verification from reputable conventional banking service, we can’t perfectly tell the source of email is legit since everything  can be spoofed, email address, website url, even the crc check can be spoofed, how safe can we think from being scammed?
1098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Increase Bitcoin? on: October 08, 2019, 05:55:02 AM
Create more bitcoin pairing, that may sound delusional, but the success of bitcoin hard fork does indirectly create more demand for bitcoin, whether the bitcoin pairing have the same value to the real bitcoin was another story, I think bitcoin future too increase more bitcoin albeit it is just as delusional as any hard fork, but try to ask around, I found very few people can tell what’s real bitcoin from all the fake, because it’s so many misleading news, info, all over the internet, unless they’re very tech savvy, but not all of them too are good enough to tell the truth, we does have more and more bitcoin whales falling for many type of altcoin scams, I can assure you they’re not dumb to fall for it, they just careless.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 08, 2019, 05:42:50 AM
The site are full of ads and hidden scripts to drain bandwidth, we should avoid using site as hideous as cmc, also nearly all the prices/vol listed for each crypto are fake anyway, nobody should take it seriously.
