To all the haters, stereotype, 50'-80' generation parent
A rude awakening is waiting for you, society has been very different compare to your time, the society you know are from the past, the new society are today, where no pension fund for anyone who think they deserve it.
Stop your self entitlement mentality, no one owe your kids a life, start teaching now or never happens
Full stop. Too many repetitive reply, don't want to spam all the same answer over and over again.

Buterin attended the Abelard School, a private high school in Toronto, for four years,[7] which he said, "proved to be among the most interesting and productive years of my life; the closer connection between students and teachers [&] the level of depth at which the material was taught, made me want to learn, and to focus on learning as my primary goal".[7] Buterin has written that although he was "never particularly inspired by the traditional education system",[7] when subjects were presented with "dedication and focus on intellectual inquiry", he said:

"I noticed my attitude and my results almost immediately and drastically change. Education is ultimately much more than simply memorizing individual facts, or even learning individual concepts. [What] matters most: learning how to think, learning how to reason and learning how to learn."[7]
Buterin learned about Bitcoin, from his father, at age 17.[5] In 2012, he obtained a bronze medal in the International Olympiad in Informatics.[8] In 2013, he visited developers in other countries who shared his enthusiasm for code. He returned to Toronto later that year and published a white paper proposing Ethereum.[9] He attended the University of Waterloo but dropped out in 2014, when he received the Thiel Fellowship in the amount of $100,000,[10] and went to work on Ethereum full-time.[10]

Nothing wrong with crypto, and 17 is below 18yo by that definition, it is illegal to trade crypto, and we would have no ethereum today, if we would have to restrict anyone below 18yo to earn bitcoin.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 06:37:17 PM

I can't believe that, people are willing to die for bitcoin, this is madness!!

It's really madness, remember that without money no life will survive on this planet earth, so, men are ready to kill or die just to have the money, money they said "is the roots of all evil" and the power of survivals. to what extent humans can go to acquire money is unspeakable, Bitcoin is money.

Bitcoin, tokens, shitcoin, mining rigs, I think they can go very low. And survival, I think the preppers are going too far, they completely mess up everyone's minds, and I didn't blame them for the idea, I would blame the believer just like they believe the religion.

I can't believe that, people are willing to die for bitcoin, this is madness!!
Seriously? Bitcoin is basically a form of money and many(I mean many) people can do anything for money.

The biggest advantage that Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market provides is the ability to stay anonymous while conducting financial transactions, but there is no point if you give up your anonymity through KYC etc at the end of the day.

Remember bitcoin was only a few years old, and it must be a huge milestone for bitcoin to become a money to die for, looking back at old day, bitcoin barely worth a pizza, let alone die for a pizza would make more sense. And it's not easy to stay anon for long, when everything fly through the moon, all the hodlers making new live streams every damn hour, trying hard to reveal themselve.
1263  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: March 06, 2019, 03:10:41 PM
I beg to differ, I think dollar not meant for humans, because no matter I work so hard for it, I would have no money, no balance in my bank account, but I have millions in debt, debt in dollars, if dollar are meant for human, I would have millions in my bank.
That analogy is excellent, the fact that this technology is somewhat difficult for some, does not mean that it is not for the human, people must accept that it must be studied to have an acceptable level and operate using a technology that is advanced.

Yes, learning to use crypto is a necessry step for everyone, no exception, and it remain to be a challenge for vast majority of people, I'm surprised to know most friends around me do not know how to acquire crypto, and I tot they're tech savvy.

1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto companies complain they’re being shunned by most banks on: March 04, 2019, 04:47:48 PM
The reputation for crypto has been heavily tarnished by countless ICO scams, I don't think any bank would want to be backing anymore ICO startup, all this companies should try their luck with new capital raising that's not bank sourced.
1266  Other / Off-topic / Common millennials problem: leftover women on: March 04, 2019, 03:58:54 PM

No one going to discuss it on the public space, you know all the basher/hatred/flaming/doxxing etc in real world. I'm going to try my luck here.

It is gradually become more prominent.

Sheng nu (Chinese: 剩女; pinyin: shèngnǚ; common translation: "leftover women" or "leftover ladies") is a derogatory term popularized by the All-China Women's Federation that classifies women who remain unmarried in their late twenties and beyond.[1][2][3][4]

1. Xu Xiaomin of The China Daily described the sheng nus as "a social force to be reckoned with" and others have argued the term should be taken as a positive to mean "successful women".[8][9] The slang term, 3S or 3S Women, meaning "single, seventies (1970s), and stuck" has also been used in place of sheng nu.[9][10]

2. The term, sheng nu, literally translates to "leftover ladies" or "leftover women".[15][21][22] In 2007, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China released an official statement defining sheng nu as any "unmarried women over the age of 27" and added it to the national lexicon.[18]

3. Pretty girls do not need a lot of education to marry into a rich and powerful family. But girls with an average or ugly appearance will find it difficult" and "These girls hope to further their education in order to increase their competitiveness. The tragedy is, they don't realise that as women age, they are worth less and less. So by the time they get their MA or PhD, they are already old — like yellowed pearls."[1]

4. with mounting pressure and dwindling hopes of fulfilling both career and personal ambitions at home, for women such as Xu the urge to pack up and leave only grows stronger with time. Without women such as her, though, the mainland will be left with not only a weaker economy, but an even greater pool of frustrated leftover men."[34]

5. The Chinese People's Daily cited a 2012 United Nations survey that found 74 percent of women in the United Kingdom and 70 percent of women in Japan were single between the ages of 25 and 29.[6] The China Daily published an article that cited figures from the 2012 United Nations' World Marriage Data which reported 38% of women in the United States, and more than 50% of women in Britain remained unmarried in their 30s.[7]

6. The Sheng Nu Movement uses the internet and media as an outlet to remove the stigma against leftover women. SK-II, a Japanese skincare brand, launched in the early 1980's, has launched a global campaign called #changedestiny,  to empower women affected by the prejudice against “leftover women”.[37] In their campaign video, "Marriage Market Takeover[38]

7. Former Los Angeles deputy mayor Joy Chen, a Chinese-American, wrote a book titled Do Not Marry Before Age 30 (2012).[56] Chen's book, a pop culture bestseller, was commissioned and published by the Chinese government as a self-help book for unmarried women.[56]

Your purpose is to make money, then choose between doing business and invest, I think it is very common practice among youngster. Why not create a new money? So you do not need to earn the money, since you can just create it.
Joke aside, making money is not easy, and I wouldn't tell you why it's so wrong to earn money, you gotta learn it the hard way, always go for option 3 when someone give you only two choice, the key is never do what common folk doing, when they do A you go do B, it is how to get thing done.

1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latin America’s Biggest Bank To Release Security Token on: February 28, 2019, 03:37:06 PM
Exchanging property for bitcoin is never easy, if the bank will help in the process, I think it would be great news. I believe with the help of bank, the process would be much smoother. Are we going to see more and more bitcoin-property deal in the near term?
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan is launching its own cryptocurrency on: February 28, 2019, 03:15:56 PM
I hope it's mineable and not some generic premined shitcoin again. XRP are highly regulated crypto, and it's also what the liberals capitalism anarchist love a lot, they can control the XRP as easy as controlling Elon Musk Twitter account.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 25, 2019, 03:49:32 PM
Samsung is a Korea company and they need to comply with the local regulations
And the regulations is by far not friendly against crypto investors:

$0.00 Hello,

We will close KRW withdrawal services for members without registered virtual account.

- Timeline : Oct 15 (Mon), 15:00 [KST]

* Under 18 years of age, corporate member, Non-Korean are not eligible to opening virtual account.
* KRW withdrawal service for non-registered members can only be made before the closure.
* Trading, withdrawal and deposit of Cryptocurrency will be run as normal.

We appreciate your understanding.

Imagine everyone who store their crypto into the wallet created by Samsung and later found out not being able to withdraw.
1273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical analysis is a another form of manipulation. Here is everything I know, on: February 21, 2019, 06:51:04 PM
Contrary to the regulated market, bitcoin are supposed to be free market, manipulation on a free market, and you get the huge price volatility, I know some people can't accept the volatility, they want control badly, they want control price control, and 2008 tell us what a regulated market lead us to, and it is why bitcoin are born? I think TA are fine, it is part of the free market we always dream of.
1274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know a good crypto. on: February 20, 2019, 08:03:54 PM
I would like to know how too, but it is mostly depend on luck, I think I could find some promising ICO with amazing white paper, decent roadmap, powerful devs team, and superb tech, but that will account for sheer 5% of a successful ICO? And luck is very vague explanation, may be timing, the market condition and some unknown that play a major rate into a good ICO, I would say you trying to bet on one good ICO, good luck with that, you may get better luck by betting on 100-200 ICO.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk calls cryptocurrency 'brilliant' while predicting end of paper money.. on: February 20, 2019, 07:26:29 PM
Great to see Elon Musk acknowledge the bitcoin. I don't know why some billionaires hate bitcoin, and some like it, I thought all tech savvy will like bitcoin, but Bill Gates are some of them who decided to hate it. But I think people will change their perception about Bitcoin overtime, they might hate it sometime ago and changed their mind later.
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [JPM] JPM Coin on: February 18, 2019, 01:09:07 PM
I love the name of the coin, it is just brilliant! Definitely will hodl it in my wallet forever.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: February 06, 2019, 02:16:12 PM
Yeah gotta agree, when a lot of the same group of people use it, it become the <insert group name> money, the bitcoin mainly used by nerds? And calling it by the name nerd money seem to be very direct, but it make it clear to us, don’t know about PayPal, I think it is internet money kids will call it.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is knowledge and knowledge is value and value is money on: February 06, 2019, 07:03:32 AM

Under bank cartels policy, crony, capitalism, landlord, interest rate, inflation, tax, rent, are money. And knowledge are worthless, bank do not see your academic performance, you get a good grade in school and banker will give zero f*** about it, you want money from banker? Show your money to them, not show your grade.

bitcoin potentially could change the old fashion bank cartels based freakonomy? I see knowledge on bitcoin, something very special, which may be insignificant, but what can I see in the bank cartels? I see zero knowledge, it actually stepping on knowledge to become stronger, and continue to do so, look at all the policy made by the capitalist, they killing middle classes everyday, middle classes create knowledges, killing middle classes, killing the knowledge, when no more knowledge are left, we have fake news, lies, and more dumb ideas like religions, terrorism, feminism, masculinism, racism, more political weapons spread all over the headlines.

Destroying civilization are easy, just nuke the world to zero, building civilization took a lot of knowledge, sacrifice, men power to build, research and development, a lot of money wasted.

Stupid human are stupid, human always build, destroy, regret, and rebuild, and destroy again, and rebuild again, and destroy again, dumb cycle going on and going on for many centuries.

Stop destroying knowledge, human are smartest creatures in the universe, but also can be the dumbest creatures in the universe.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 05, 2019, 03:03:59 PM
Are you serious?kindergarten?they are too young do you know what you wanted here?

They are supposed to be playing and enjoying their younger age, parents must provide for them

I know that parents must tell and educate children’s how to value money but not to the extent that they will be providing for their needs

But what i wanna have is a school in which cryptocurrency will be teachd to the high school students so they might have idea about blockchain and cryptocurrency as well

A school that teach crypto, that's not about earning crypto, of course we go to school to learn something so we could use the knowledge to make money? Or we are learning a knowledge in school and so we can provide a charity work back to the society? I believe under a bank cartel system, you shouldn't allowed to work for charity because it would force out by pressuring you with piles of debt.

Lol. That's funny. Kindergarten kids shouldn't be earning anything yet. Adults are not having an easy time earning bitcoin for themselves so how do you expect kids that young to grasp even the general concept of making money. Nope! Not a good nor a logical idea 😛

Learning knowledge in school, look at what they get, they get knowledge, or should I call it they "earn" the knowledge in the school? Earning is going to be the same as learning, the only one small difference are learning is earning something literature(L+ earning = learning) is it a coincidence? But what does it have anything to do with bitcoin? The bitcoin provide learning and earning at the same time, the best of both world, but why exchange want to restrict kids to learning but not earning the bitcoin? Are exchange trying protect the kids? Or the complete opposite?
1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: February 05, 2019, 02:38:28 PM

Kids shouldn’t go to school and learn the same repetitive education that trained them to be slave, like lawyers, accountant, doctor, they should be earning their own bitcoin too.

I don’t believe we shouldn’t teach kid about money, we should be encourage them to earn money, since bitcoin are easy to earn, why we must tell kids to follow the same advices that lead to what we have failed millenial generation today? We don’t want our kid to end up like millenial again, we shall teach them not working for money, and as young as possible.

Becoming millionaire is no longer a privilege right to grown up man, kids should have them too, easy access to banking are also shouldn’t limited to matured, why some exchange still so stereotype by not allowing kids below 18 years old to trade crypto, this is very sad and very bad to them.

It seems that you have run out of ideas to make a more qualified thread, we all know this is the wrong thing, then why should you discuss about this ? or you just trying to make more posts ?  Cool

it's called harassment of the rights of children, every human being has its own phase and children in this case feel their time period. Each people has their own role, The father go to work, Mother take care the home, and child just study and play.

Exchange restrict kid under 18 yo to trade Bitcoin, because they don't like kid to become millionaire and take away the fame of the old, strong and independent generation billionaire, it is very wrong when kids try to trade bitcoin, and it is legal when the exchange say so, by simply calling it a child labor laws, that child labor do not allow kid to trade Bitcoin because it is a labor that will harm the kids, but violent fps shooter game are safe for kids.
