Some people never learn any of that stuff in the OP, regardless of whether they attend college, finish high school, or dropped out of grade school. I'd rather have an education and take my chances with everything else than to not have one, but that's just me.
I do think that most college students study fairly useless subjects, ones that don't prepare them for anything in the real world. And if you're a student that likes to party instead of study, that makes the situation so much worse. It's no wonder why so many of the younger generation are complaining about tuition costs and subsequent debt after they graduate. If they'd studied useful subjects (like engineering, nursing, accounting, etc.) then they'd at least have a marketable skill right after they graduate. If you're majoring in psychology or history or gender studies, good luck trying to find work in any field related to those things.
I would also point out that learning should be a lifetime activity, not just something that ends with a diploma. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from getting that diploma, however, because I do think education is very important.

It comes from governments that habitually pursue wealth and wage redistribution, taking money from the poor to give to the rich. And CEOs who give themselves raises from the pockets of their own extremely underpaid employees. That's where the vast majority of content on TV and the media comes from but people will still blindly believe everything they see no matter how ridiculous it is.

I can relate to this. When I was still in college, it's not really about learning but the teachers and instructors task is just to manage the students regardless of the subject. They are following a syllabus and whether it's finished at the end of the semester, it's okay for them. Anyway, many odd things happen during this time, one of which perhaps is the way how the Chinese try to sell goods to you for good luck and the foods they sell to you in order to have good heatlh.
I'm pretty sure by now it has lost it sense to the common Chinese folk, but to the businessmen, it hasn't. Then again with the events prior to the lunar new year of 2020, I don't think there's much happening around considering that the 2019 nCoV is still on the loose in China.
On the plus side, bitcoin has been making gains few days aftee the said event starts. It always has been the case every year but it's somewhat different right now. Less festivities are being held and more is being poured into some other things.

Looking like the lunar year or whatever you guys call it didn't make as much trouble for btc as we imagined it might have. It did dropped a bit for a while and reached to like 8200ish levels but now its back over 8600 and honestly that is good enough for me.
If the price goes down that is very scary, we don't know if it will continue to go down or what will happen, however whenever price recovers from a fall that means we are still in the bullish times and nothing major may have for a little more while, I am not saying bitcoin will never go down under 8k or something here, but at least for a little bit more while we are in the bull run and we may yet to see still higher prices like 10k or even more if these continue to happen, it all depends on if we will be able to break the resistance or not.

It’s a holiday there where a lot of people go traveling, so the idea is they’re taking money out of the market for other things during this time. It’s expected that the money will go back into the market when the holiday is over. If you look at the last few years you will see each year before Chinese New Year prices have majorly dropped. History tends to repeat itself. Also after Chinese New Year they tend to go way up. I am not of the Chinese ancestry though I am Asian too. Here in my county, the Chinese culture is quite a pervasive one since they are dominating the business scene, holding a great percentage of our country's capital and wealth. We generally admire the Chinese culture because they are very entrepreneurial, and they know what they want and are so willing to sacrifice a lot just to get there, many of the traits that we also want to have. I and my family are not so familiar with the Chinese New Year because we are not celebrating it, but we are always aware of this festival because they are always mentioned in the mainstream and social media every year.
