421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 26, 2020, 02:49:07 AM
Things like this won't be out, it for sure there are still a lot of people who will sell their Bitcoin at any time.
But forget about these people, they don't know what they doing. Only they think about saving their own (but not actually it works) and not helping the market to recover. Moreover, there is something we can't do about them and they are just passing investors and in the future, they're still be quitting in crypto.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: March 14, 2020, 04:02:27 PM
Yes i can now control myself in gambling because i don't want to get addicted and be greedy again just like what happened to me last year that i got greedy and i lost thousands of money due to gambling addiction. It is the reason why i am scared to gamble for a long period of time because any time i could be reckless and greedy again, that is why my friends or my brother is always by my side whenever i am gambling to control myself but i am now only gamble for entertainment or for leisure of time.

Well atleast you’ve learned from that experience and it’s good that you are now able to control yourself, I just hope you can do it consistently because I’ve known few people who learned their lesson the hard way and promised to never do it again, they were doing great at first but later on they went back to what they are before and lost again tons of money. Controlling one self is not easy as what other people think, in order to be of control over gambling, one must be discipline and is consistently in following his set goals and not letting emotions do the decisions for him.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: March 14, 2020, 11:26:09 AM
I not use trading bot because it is very difficult to find bot for trading, I want to try to distinguish which is the best between trading bots and manual trading
Actually it is not a big problem. I never used a bot because I had to pay. some bots must be rented and for me it is a bad thing to trade.
I prefer the manual.

Well, not all bots are bad maybe you’ve rented bots from the worst programmers but there are some that works quite well but being a bot it does not have the ability to adjust accurately base on the current situation because it will only work based on what was programmed. Manual trading is way better because you can make adjustment right on the spot though manual trading takes time you may need to spend hours analyzing it and also learning it.
424  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: March 14, 2020, 11:03:51 AM
KYC does not diminish the decentralization of blockchain technology. These things are mostly done to conform to the regulation within the jurisdiction. Besides, there are decentralized exchanges that don't require KYC and you can remain anonymous but the percentage is very small at the moment.

That is so true though. Despite people using bitcoin so they can stay anonymous, KYC is beneficial for users, investors, and exchanges and in the community as well. I don't like the idea of KYC since it is the opposite of what crypto currencies goals are but still, the existence of it is not to kill decentralization but to take care of it.

It is beneficial as to add assurance that the people you are dealing with are authentic or verified people. Though some may not want to do it for security because there’s a chance it will be hacked and aside from that KYC for some exchanges are kinda complicated and people don’t like it. For me, KYC has its advantages and disadvantages since nothing is perfect but having KYC make me feel a little secure knowing all are fully verified.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 12K USD is the next target? on: March 14, 2020, 04:44:23 AM
I feel bullish right now, Bitcoin price overcome the 10K USD zone after a long time! I predicted this two weeks ago that Bitcoin price will hit 10K USD at the end of January or at the first of February! Is Bitcoin price predictable now guys? So, what is the next target? 12K USD? Please share your opinions.

We are going to hit 12k soon.
But, before that we are going to reach a level of around 5k and then we are going to bounce back. In my opinion, 12k is going to be hit when halving will be around to happen so the price is going to start going higher.

Maybe bitcoin will free fall to $ 5,000? even though I would not fight in such a way because the most falling bitcoin is about $ 7,000 but are we traveling for the next few days and until this bear market will continue to occur?
There is still a big chance for bitcoin to recover, with halving happening in the next 2 months.

You are right, it even fall below $5000 but it's trading at $5000 now, not too stable yet so we might see some big dump in the next few days as there's still no solution on the pandemic, people are still panicking, taking out their investment and converting it to fiat because they are buying their needs, and of course the fear on the global economic collapse.

Exactly, people are still panicking because of the continuous rice of COVID-19 victims and with that we can't expect the market to be stable even at $5000. We may still experience another drop in the coming days we just don't know when and how much it will drop. Let's just hope this crisis will be resolved soon and for bitcoin to recover as well.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the Coronavirus (Covid-19) make BTC to rise? on: March 13, 2020, 01:34:16 PM
Looks to me like the FUD worked.
Using the virus as the reason for the down price of stock market and then connecting it to bitcoin.

What the heck is happening?
Is this dip really from that virus or we are the virus who spread a bad news all over the world specially in social media.
We may be the reason to make it fall down in just a little amount of time.

The actual virus is one threat and it is one of the reasons that we are experiencing the dump and we also are contributors to it because some people panicked do what they think is right when it is not really the right thing to do. With the virus still at large economies are failing and whether we like it or not the market will also fail. Therefore, with the market struggling we should help stabilize it somehow by not panicking because if we panic then it will only make things worst.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 13, 2020, 12:15:42 PM
With the deadly virus spreading very fast it is best to stay at home and only go out if it is really necessary but if you want to go out just to gamble then think twice, there's a lot of people going in and out the casino and you don't know where they come from and who knows some of the players are carrying the virus with them so better avoid going to a location with a lot of people. Gambling online may come handy wherein you can enjoy playing and at the same time at the safety of your home.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: March 13, 2020, 11:41:52 AM
crypto (bitcoin) is here to stay , it is already to big to fail , but as you say , we never know that for sure , but my opinion is that bitcoin will survive the time and will be with us for a very long time and that there will also be better or greater projects that will also find there own usecases

Bitcoin maybe big now but it is not a guarantee it's not gonna fail someday. There's a couple of big companies who people think will not fail but still fail in the end thus, it is very early to say that bitcoin will not fail though we already witnessed that bitcoin is a strong technology that is still striving to the top and is still on the top for years. Bitcoin maybe here to stay for good or maybe for more years but no one knows what is really gonna happen in the future so lets make the most of what we currently have.
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 13, 2020, 09:38:43 AM
The panic continues, it looks like bitcoin is still not at dip right now, it could fall and currently its only trading below $6000, one of the worst fall of bitcoin in history and this is all attributed to the covid-19 pandemic. We thought bitcoin is a safe haven, but its not, people are panic everywhere so maybe they don't try to risk anything and put their investment in fiat.
It is really a strange move that BTC is now under $5000, fell very soon. So, the panic follows which we predicted to be happened. I see no reason behind this move other than people to be paniced seriously.
Given what is happening (corona virus), it's not strange anymore. If bitcoin dump before below $4000 after the bull run when the correction is happening, the more we can expect it now that it will fall so I would not be surprise if bitcoin will fall further.

With the continued decrease in price we can expect panic actions from investors which isn't suppose to happen but it's happening. Panic buying or selling does not only happen in the cryto world but even for goods, we can see panic buying because of the continuous spread of the Coronavirus. Anyways, I think will be having a very bad season for bitcoin.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: March 13, 2020, 08:59:31 AM
I don't think it has something to do with the date, these scenarios can happen anytime and it is just a coincidence that it happened Friday the 13th. We all know we are currently facing an epidemic and it resulted for international transactions or business to a stop thus, the market struggles but I am still positive that it shall pass soon.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening ? on: March 13, 2020, 07:58:40 AM
This is what we call reality, bitcoin isn’t always rainbows and butterflies as many people would think. Bitcoin can do wonders and give surprises but it can also be stressful if you aren’t 100% mentally prepared of the risk. In any investment there is always risk and as for bitcoin, it’s volatility. Bitcoin is very unpredictable and we don’t know what would be the price next let’s just hope it’ll be green this time.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 12, 2020, 11:03:20 PM
The panic is already in motion mate, the entire crypto market has decreased by a whooping 100B USD already. This is likely going to tank further as the unrest of Corona Virus is still spreading across the world and slowing economic growth. In other views, this is the time to buy bitcoin at very cheap prices or even any altcoin which has a huge potential of growing.

Just 3 days after this topic is created we are seeing another huge drop, the entire market is down and it's a complete bloodbath. Looks are good days are behind us, and now we need to be calm and try to survive this situation without losing our minds. Around people are panicking, and probably that depends wherefrom is someone, and in what kind of situation that someone is. For now, I am trying to keep my head down and to try to
keep my stash intact until this is over, and I hope that will happen soon.
We could have to wait for weeks or a month before we recover this huge drops. Not only the crypto market suffers big losses but this is a global market issue where we all suffer it. From $8k straightly down to $6k and continue to drop again. I believe this trend could start another market drama and expect for more panic sellers that could help the situation into worse.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: March 08, 2020, 03:25:41 PM
It is difficult to attract people to play games, especially if it is educational games. I like computer games and I am also a crypto enthusiast, even if I am a newbie there is no way I am playing that game. This is a good way to promote mass adaptation and crypto knowledge, however, I believe it won't be that effective.
But the use of educational games is appropriate enough to convey information simply and pleasantly, with the support of attractive graphics and animations, rather than just reading a row of letters. There must be a small number of people who use this. If the OP can promote the mini-game well, I think this is effective enough to provide education to the newbie. All objects can become learning media, the OP has already determined its target players, so I'm sure what the OP can do can be useful.

Exactly, it’ll be fun and knowledgeable at the same time. If OP will be able to create a game that is customer friendly, which means easy to use and understand and use attractive graphics then I think players will still be interested in it especially that bitcoin is becoming popular. With the game type people will know about bitcoin in a simpler way.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: March 08, 2020, 02:44:03 PM
is it safe to assume that Bitcoin is probably hitting a capped price(i.e $10k)?
I think no 10k$ is not yet the price that we wait we that price is starting bitcoin will gonna rise. But the problem is we don't know when the bitcoin gonna hit the highest price. So the 10k$ is not yet the price just wait be patience so that we can get more profit.

I think $10k isn’t that far however, the performance of the price now isn’t looking good and though $10k is near but it seems that the price is having a hard time recovering and going to that mark. Bitcoin is never steady, we don’t know what will happen next so we just have to be prepared.

Can you see your place on that result? I'm happy that you're part of that and kudos to those who live in Cainta, Rizal.  Smiley

Don’t worry little by little madagdagan din kayo and soon masasali na din probinsya nyo sa list. Nakakatuwa lang isipin na nagiging open minded na ang mga pinoy sa mga ganitong bagay and I think it is a matter of time nlang bago halos lahat na ang tatangkilik sa bitcoin sa ating bansa.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the Coronavirus (Covid-19) make BTC to rise? on: March 08, 2020, 09:42:31 AM
if the recession happens then we may start seeing a big bitcoin adoption and a massive price rise that we have never seen before. i am thinking $1 million.

Yeah, I can see people losing their jobs, their business, with relatives in hospitals, with a shortage of food and basic necessities going full into bitcoin!
What's with this fetish that everything that will trigger a recession will be good for bitcoin? It won't!

It will not be good for bitcoin, won't be good for us and will not be good for anyone!
Rather than dreaming of having people putting in a part of what is left of lifesaving into BTC how about a scenario when everything is fine, we have economic growth and people have enough money to invest without cutting back on anything else and without the need for a lifeline.

It seems to me that before talking about the dependence of Bitcoin prices on the situation with the coronavirus, you first need to compare the statistical data, which consists of the size of the community of cryptocurrency users and those people who are trying to protect themselves from the coronavirus.  Based on this, I believe that other people, and not all bitcoin owners, are at greater risk.

Bitcoin owners may not be affected directly but it has an effect somehow. The Coronavirus outbreak affected not only China but many countries already thus, transactions internationally are struggling because of the threat of the virus and with that it will greatly hit a countries economy and when the economy struggles bitcoin can also be affected. Let’s just pray this outbreak will be addressed as soon as possible as to the safety of many people and be back to normal.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 08, 2020, 09:30:22 AM
If it is not paying you right then get out why do you have to stay on a project when you are not rewarded for your hard work. This should be the time that you will have to chose the best project or another project that pays well, you may also do signature campaigns or offer your services to others, there are other things that you can do where you can earn money. Spend your time and effort on projects that rewards well.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: March 08, 2020, 09:01:10 AM
I am a casual gambler but still I would gamble once or twice in week, most of it is on weekdays when I am free and do not have anything to do. I have tried my level best to utilise my free time with something creative but it does not work. I guess only death can stop me from gambling.

I think this does not only apply to you but to other gamblers as well most especially those who are addicted to it. I heard people say some already asked professional help or do a rehab tp fight addicted and to stop gambling but not all are successful. Some were able to stop but some still go back to what they used to thus, for me death would be the very best way to stop gambling.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 07, 2020, 03:18:57 PM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.

It is really hard to earn money by this time so seeing your money being lose in a gambling will definitely hurt you a lot. You know what, it is not really a bad thing to gamble but just do limit the time of gambling. Dedicate a little amount of money that you are afford of losing and ofcourse a discipline in yourself so that you will not be so addicted to it.
Disciplining yourself especially in a game such as gambling where there are maximum chances of getting addicted is a must to do a thing. You can discipline yourself in two simple steps i.e. limit your time for gambling followed by limiting your money. This is the only effective way of avoiding gambling addiction.

It is easy said that done, we can always say that will only gamble using this specific amount to gamble at this specific time but once in and is at its peak of gambling they losses it. A person should have the strong will to discipline himself not to be addicted to gambling and only gamble what they can afford to lose, if one don't have it then rest assured he'll end up like everybody else who got addicted. We all know, well if not all then most of us know how hard it is to earn money but most of the time some few is too desperate to become rich and they risk it to gambling without really thinking of what the consequences.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: March 07, 2020, 02:47:43 PM
When you say crypto does it mean bitcoin only or any coins too? If you are referring to bitcoin then I think it is impossible because bitcoin has a lot of investors and it is growing every day. Bitcoin is very successful for many years now and it has established it's name already. I know anything can happen, it's the reality but if the price will go down it won't go as low as zero. On the other note, the only coins that I see that would go zero are those shitcoins who did nothing but just to ruin cryptocurrency image.
