241  Economy / Gambling discussion / What do u think about gambling? on: January 14, 2022, 06:04:04 PM
I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this forum.I know we have different insight about gambling, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

So the question is(What do you think about gambling? Is it a fun ? Or a threat.

In my own opinion, gambling is fun. It is sort of like watching tv or playing online games but the possibility of winning money. It could be a threat if you dont know how to set your limits of how much money and time you can spend. Even if you have a large budget, it is a not a bad idea to set limits for yourself.

Always keep in mind,

NEVER INVEST MONEY THAT YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 14, 2022, 04:13:14 PM
More than a decade after bitcoin introduces, government around the world still trying to figure out ways to regulate bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The reason why they cannot regulate bitcoin because it is decentralized or there is no central entity that prints money. And it can be also used by criminals. If the government wants to, it can. It is impossible to regulate, only the imaginary ecosystem
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin achievement on: January 14, 2022, 12:32:17 AM

245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: January 10, 2022, 01:54:08 PM
Well,if everyone on the earth who currently does not have btc yet eventually owned atleast 0.1 btc then you might actually be able to buy a house from that or can invest a small business. It depends on how you hold it and dont sell it.It will be pretty valuable in a few years. Remember 0.1 btc at a current rate is not joke money for majority people on earth. So be grateful and thankful that you have 0.1btc that can be use in the future.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 08, 2022, 05:06:33 AM
-snip-
Thurman is training himself, you can check on his social media. But yeah training alone and training while fight with real boxer are different, he need to warm up first before fight with Barrios.

He's still 33 years old, I don't think he would retire when he's still in prime conditions Grin his previous fight with Pacquiao is big lesson for him to become better. But still, I'll pick Thurman for this fight, Barrios aren't really powerful IMO.
I think Mario Barrios will be always on the fight but at the end of the day I just believe that Keith Thurman is the much better fighter, the most experience fighter, the much bigger and the much stronger fighter than Barrios. And there is a possibility that Keith Thurman can K.O Mario Barrios. Thurman winning this fight but it will be a competitive one.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future is looking bright for BITCOIN on: January 07, 2022, 01:45:03 PM
I also don't see the ban of China on crypto mining as a big issue for the crypto world. The whole world knows that China is very protective and only follows their own goals. The world is big enough without China and its just a matter of time for countries to step up against China. Freedom of speech and choice is what made capitalism so successful in the Western world. Outright banning something will not, there always ways to circumvent the ban. Crypto currencies are the future, the strong demand and insane growth rates in the past years have shown that.
China is doing this (banning) over and over. But one thing has been sure, nothing is happen in order the bitcoin to be stop. It has been growing and it has become bigger, better and stronger. So whats my response to whats happening in China,it doesnt change the bitcoin,it doesnt change the technology. Bitcoin is a massive superior technology and it keeps going to the moon and beyond.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 07, 2022, 04:55:44 AM
Well, i think it is possible to become rich with 0.01btc and hold it for maybe 7 to 10 years from now. And you always have to consider rising prices as time marches on. It is also depend not only on your expecation but also on your age because we dont know what will happen next. Life is unpredictable. So live practically. Its not about being rich, just enough to live comfortably.
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 06, 2022, 04:47:43 PM
They're obviously been paid by the casino to play and promote it they do get overhyped when they win even tho the money is not theirs, do i think this is immoral and kinda misleading ? Maybe. Does this behaviour needs to be stopped ? No.I believe some people maybe find this entertaining (myself included)

At the end of the day if you're a compulsive gambler or someone who has a real problem with gambling i suggest you just stay away from those streams.
I agree. It is just a part of their marketing strategy or tricks. And because they are paid streamer/promoter they need to convince and get the attention of the viewers. It tricks the audiences into thinking there chances of winning big than they are.And it is all up to you if you're going to gamble or not.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 06, 2022, 01:50:34 PM
it has been proven that many of us have entered the world of bitcoin, and it has been proven that our finances are starting to improve, my personal experience after I got to know bitcoin my finances have started to increase and I don't need to work in the hot sun anymore, and become people's orders another, after I got to know bitcoin my life has started to improve, I am very grateful because I entered the world of bitcoin, if I don't keep up with the times, most likely my life will not change, the crypto world is indeed a very promising world, giving us comfort and freedom ..

251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 06, 2022, 12:07:29 PM
Gambling is always comes with a high risk, because it is possible to never earn money or may lose money too. So if ever I have earn $2000 dollars a month, I will set aside my money first by saving it to cover all the daily needs of my famiy and emergency expenses. Then maybe I will bet 10% or 20% of my remaining money for gambling.

253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2021, 02:04:27 PM
It was my uncle who told me about bitcoin. He was talking about how online transactions have made it easier for him to operate his business from anywhere in the world. And then, he started telling us about how bitcoin trading and investments have been filling his pockets, which made me even more interested in bitcoin.
Yes, we're both the same. I also heard it from my cousin way back 2017.. He was resigned from his job because of this what we so-called "digital currency".And it is proven and tested that bitcoin is not a scam like what others think. He started to build his own house and bought a new car. And I think it is a good idea for me to try this kind of job.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 11, 2020, 08:31:12 AM
Hello. I've been quite successful so far in my trading endeavors. So much so that I've been offered a decent amount of money to trade with if I split the profits 50/50. I just have some questions on how I can go about doing this carefully.

50/50 is quite good enough mate, you both agree with the sharing at first but if you are using the more than the amount that he'll give to you, well that is a different situation and sharing. Handling money is really hard when you don't trust each other, it could sometimes create the misunderstanding that leads into questioning. I suggest having all the records intact and available for that case.

But to avoid such a thing, I suggest you have your own capital. And in times you'll lose (as we can't neglect it to happen), you can't be blamed either.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: July 03, 2020, 10:56:07 AM
If you look for it, you will find people in almost all countries of the world who do not know about science. But the way Bitcoin is spreading all over the world, I hope so the day is not far when the whole world will know Bitcoin. It's just a matter of time now.
And 10 years of its existence isn't enough by then. The continuous promotion online will help to spread but that also will matter of how the people give interest on it and how they think about crypto. The case that happens to the US is also happening globally for the reason that they don't appreciate crypto and that also for they are hearing scams and fraud incidents. Of course, age may matter for ages '50s and above won't certainly giving a hint on it but rather to keep of what they are doing today and in the past days.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 03, 2020, 07:44:37 AM
Maybe(this time) we could say that Bitcoin isn't truly a safe-haven asset but we keep believe in it that it soars high in the future. This simply means that we are looking for the possibility it becomes to be like that sooner or later even though the volatility remains.
However, we can eliminate the risk in crypto and that absolutely we will see until the next generation. But if you are in the doubt about Bitcoin, will that be better to look for a real stock market investment or invest gold instead.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For airdroppers who can hardly relate on: July 03, 2020, 07:14:39 AM
Admin: Distribution commence next week
Participants: Good to hear that

after a week:
participant: Thank you team, I already receive the reward. When listing?
Admin: Soon...

Things usually we heard about bounty and airdrop. Totally a waste of time and a lot of broken promises. That been hopeless to have airdrops this time, even we have them but it only stuck in our wallet with $0 in value and we don't know if the project had doing it hard to get listed or it just leaves like that forever. In fact, most of them are abandoned already.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DeFi help ethereum reach it's old 4 figure value? on: July 02, 2020, 11:32:15 PM
DeFi has something to give and contributed in crypto growth but we can't rely on it that it pushes ETH to its 4digit, nothing to see that.
We are looking for ETH2.0 to launch within this year as this probably could trigger for its market incline.
https://www.cryptocointrade.com/fundamental-analysis/ethereum-2-0-roadmap-price-predictions/

I don't say we are too hopeless to think about DeFi and how it works but the thing is that people are investing crypto for they saw that ETH has the potential, not the Decentralize Finance attracted to them. Because even though we don't have this, investors will keep investing ETH.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we really know how many bitcoins does satoshi have? on: July 02, 2020, 11:11:19 AM
I'd know if that is important to know how much Bitcoin has Satoshi held at his account. Having to know his contribution and its creation is more than enough. Because of his anonymous existence and even have some discovered transaction that Satoshi has made, still couldn't prove that it was for him. How clever he is to know much for him but that is how he promotes anonymity in crypto and that anyone could not know how much exactly he has now or have nothing at all.
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Gonna be volatile again! Nothing New though on: July 02, 2020, 06:09:02 AM
The ups and downs cycle will consistently be happening again and again. We've been having this scheme for the whole 2nd quarter, we have given the chance to surpass $10k but that just a short stay and it turns back again. This quarter is full of hopes but nothing it gives assurance for a market price spike, may it looks the same as shown last month.

This could possible to look at in the coming days.
