701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 27, 2019, 02:59:34 PM
No one knows wether Satoshi Nakamoto is single or not, oh not really, someone must have known who Satoshi Nakamoto is but they didn’t made it public so basically most of us don’t know if Satoshi is indeed single or could be a corporation. But I don’t think it really matters, bitcoin is doing great even without him in public so lets just accept the fact that Satoshi preferred to be private than be a public figure.
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 27, 2019, 02:42:17 PM
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.

Investors more like think outside the box, weighing everything to make sure that he can make his investment grow on the maximum level. Investors are those people who take time learn/study everything about the thing he invested to and make a strategy to gain more profits. Common man on the other hand, can also be investors its just that they only think of getting profits right away, it’s like they invested on something just for the sake of getting returns but not really understanding what it is. These are the people who most of the time unsuccessful with their investment because of lack of knowledge and strategy.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin cross $50,000 by Dec 2020? on: October 27, 2019, 02:20:11 PM
Woahh! I just wish it’ll reach that amount but back to reality, we haven’t even reach the $20,000 mark which was long been predicted and now $50,000 in Dec 2020? hmmmm I just think it is quite impossible. Bitcoin still has a long way to go and we still even not sure will reach $20k in 2020 so I won’t buy on bitcoin having $50k in dec 2020, I don’t know but I just feel that with all the manipulation going on from time to time that made people having second thoughts about bitcoin, $50k is just a big price but who knows, maybe a miracle will happen let see when we get there.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let this rise be a lesson - Bitcoin isn't strongly tied to anything on: October 27, 2019, 01:56:17 PM
We already know bitcoin is unpredictable and it sometimes give surprise pump and dump from time to time but I disagree that the price pump is not tied with anything. There are a lot of things that can be the reason why the price right now, it could be the supply and demand of bitcoin or could be just one of the doings of whales trying to play on the investors mind. Lets face it, bitcoin can be tied with anything and sometimes with one very influential person talking about bitcoin then price change.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 27, 2019, 01:42:05 PM
Like what other people do, gambling with loan money. I think no more that you can do except get the money back as long it is not from gambling anymore. Maybe with your sentences, you already do a mistake, but will be good if people read about this too. Sorry for your loss.

Well most gamblers expect that they can win big money in gambling that is why they dared to borrow money from a friend or someone but unfortunately, most of them failed and lost instead. Borrowing money just to gamble should be the last thing a person should do or he will be like OP or maybe worst.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 27, 2019, 12:57:25 PM
As long as you look at the price of bitcoin every minute of your life, you cannot sleep well. People should not focus on the short movement of bitcoin because its highly volatile. The good thing right now is that, the price starts to recover and its good for those who don’t panic sell, it will rise big again soon.

More people are for profits or thinking the investment aspect of bitcoin not taking into consideration the original purpose of bitcoin which is a digital currency for peer to peer transaction. To some investors, price is all that matters, I can’t blame them because if the price is high then they can get big profits. On the other hand, I agree that the price is now recovering so we just have to trust in bitcoin.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: October 27, 2019, 09:40:58 AM
That's really funny actually. A Bitcoin cafe but the people there aren't able to spend Bitcoin or any other crypto-currencies in store.

It's a great work around the government's rules, just because you can't use and buy Bitcoin, doesn't mean you can't plaster it everywhere. I have no doubts that the owner of the cafe has a nice Bitcoin fund himself.

In recent months, bitcoin adoption is slowly growing - we saw china getting lax with their own rules and I reckon your country will as well.

Ironic huh!, there's a cafe but not all can use bitcoin freely and anywhere but I think this is just the start for bitcoin, who  knows, maybe in the near future a lot will adopt bitcoin and we can use it as another mode of payment. We should be happy that little by little we can see establishment that accepts bitcoin though it is still very few but our technology is advancing an as I've noticed more people are now adaptive to new technology thus it is not impossible that a lot will adopt bitcoin.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He's thankful he found "Bitcoin" on: October 27, 2019, 06:47:44 AM
in the end it is the user's responsibility to do extensive research about the thing they are buying. for example when you are buying a phone you just don't go to a flee market, close your eyes and pick the first thing you encounter. instead you read some online reviewed, check out the features, learn how to detect fake ones made by the Chinese forging the brand name,...
it is the same with bitcoin too! they have to do some research and see how to detect fake shitcons that are forging the bitcoin brand.

As investors it is indeed our responsibility to know what we are investing into to avoid getting scammed. With today's popularity of bitcoin, scammers are also at large and they most target newbies because of this scenarios, newbies tend to invest without really researching on the thing he is about to invest to most especially if the person who introduced it to them promised them big returns. And because of this as well, bitcoin has come to a bad light and was tagged as scam because of people investing with wrong people and later on realized that what they invest into is not what they are expecting.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 26, 2019, 10:42:10 AM
Yes it does help, if you have discipline then it means that you know your limitations and you know when to stop if you have too. Having discipline also means not becoming greedy and in that way you can avoid being depressed or stressed and also avoid major losses. For me, discipline is a big help for a gambler not to be addicted in gambling.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 25, 2019, 12:31:37 PM
My vote is that cigar addiction is worse then gambling addiction
I know people personally in real life who have got lung cancer from smoking and the same cant be said for people I know who gamble
They are both addictions which can lead you to suffer in life but cigar addiction is worse for cancer alone

And not only you who will suffer but your family too, both addictions are not good for us if you can prevent yourself from getting addicted then do it or better don’t enter into gambling or don’t try cigar to avoid addiction all together. In my opinion, I can’t choose one for the reason that both addictions can make a person miserable.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 25, 2019, 11:12:51 AM
Depend on the people who were fully oriented on crypto, they want to accept digital currency as a gift. Aside from that, that is very convenient to transfer as a gift even you are far away your family. So, why not accepting digital currency or let say bitcoin as your gift.
Even me, I really appreciated it if there is someone sending in my wallet and say, "my Christmas gift to you please accept".

Yes, it depends on the person who will be receiving the gift, some may prefer digital currency since it is easy and faster. Some may also prefer cash because they might not have a wallet or they are not familiar with bitcoin. As for me, I prefer digital currency for me not to spend it lavishly and it is easy for me to invest it in bitcoin wherein in cash I got tempted easily to spend it.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 25, 2019, 10:52:14 AM
With todays market situation I guess there is a big chance it will hit a new low if not this year then probably in the next years. Hitting the new low is the worst that I can experience so far I just hope it will not happen. Bitcoin has been very bearish this last few weeks and it seems we can’t really predict what’s going to happen next. Lets just hope for the best, fingers crossed. Lips sealed
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 25, 2019, 10:35:12 AM
I already donate a decent sum of money I make from crypto to charitable organizations and charities, and though I'm overall not very profitable in gambling (very few people are), I'd certainly consider donating a portion of that money to a good cause. There's an exceptionally slim chance I win any sort of large lottery or a significant underdog bet in the first place (due to my risk management strategies in esports gambling), though, so that's something I don't plan on thinking about until it actually happens, if it happens.

Wow how good of you to do that, I would also agree, I think it is good to you know share a portion of your earnings to those who are in need like share your blessings not to really brag of what you’ve achieved or wgat but just to atleast a form of giving back that you are blessed with something.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 22, 2019, 01:28:48 PM
TBH, I don’t have much bitcoins in my wallet but what I do to increase it is by bounties, signature campaigns and I also do trading if I have spare time. For now, i’m focus more on bounty/signature campaign instead of trading because I just recently lost because of todays market which is fluctuating and it seems I lost my momentum so had to rest for a while and save up bitcoins and hopefully trade again.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 22, 2019, 12:57:59 PM
Only bring a small amount of money, the amount that you can only afford to lose because if you will bring a large amount of money then you’ll get tempted to gamble them. It is important that a gambler has self-control to avoid losing everything, there will be no one who will be able to restrain oneself but only themselves so before entering gambling assess yourself if you have the self control that is needed for you not to be caught by greed.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice on: October 20, 2019, 05:08:15 PM
Gambling can be very addictive and the common mistakes of gamblers is when they try to recover the losses in times where there emotions are high, if you let your emotions take over then this will happen. This should serve as a lesson to you not to borrow money just to gamble, you should have invested it on something else and if you gamble, maintain a focus mind to avoid losing everything.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 20, 2019, 04:43:22 PM
Have you ever thought of donating the gambling profits to a charitable cause ?  Sometime people won a big lottery or very high amount of money from betting & gambling games.  Do you ever thought of being generous and helping the poor with this money ?
Who will initiate?well hoping that there’s even one to post but what I believe there are gamblers that has a good heart and doing humanitarian help without other noticing what they do.though they are only few compared to many winners, but you have a good question here and may touched the heart of others to have initiative to donate even small part of their winning to others.looking forward for some positive feeds here as I tend to help others by giving small amount whenever I saw older person or child begging in the street, maybe not from gambling but still opening hearts to other

It depends, lottery is still considered a gamble and I heard that some of the lottery winners who won big amount donated a portion to a charitable institution. For me, gamblers are still human beings and they can have a good heart, who knows maybe they did donated something to a charity but kept it a secret. We all know gambling doesn't have a good reputation but it doesn't mean that we can generalize gamblers, regardless of the reason they gamble I know that not all of them are bad at all.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin on: October 20, 2019, 04:16:12 PM
I think it will be more of another mode of payment or money transfers. If the government will legalized bitcoin then it will work like of Paypal wherein you can use it as a payment for goods and services online and if it will be used to pay at a store I guess it will be like bank cards wherein they have terminals that reads the code for bitcoin. However, I think government legalizing bitcoin is a bit impossible now because not all in the government is with bitcoin, I guess majority is against it so may it will happen in the future.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: October 20, 2019, 03:12:18 PM
in my opinion in the future bitcoin will be increasingly popular and adoption of bitcoin will increase. because every year the number of people who know bitcoin increases, the number of bitcoin ATMs continues to grow and the countries that legalize bitcoin also increase. this proves that the future of bitcoin is getting brighter. and I'm optimistic that with more people using bitcoin the future price of bitcoin will be even higher.

I think that's the main goal, bitcoin to be known and probably become a digital currency that we can use as another mode of payment. IMO, bitcoin is going to stay longer and I think in the future a lot of coins will come out and try to dethrone bitcoin as a king but I think bitcoin is strong and will be able to stand the ground but who knows, it still a long rabbit to chase so let see what the future holds.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 19, 2019, 03:07:56 PM
Honestly, it is difficult to play in casinos that are crowded because it is very difficult to move and it is irritating that you can't even focus on the gambling game that you are playing, so i only play when there wasn't any a lot of people in a casino for me to enjoy and focus myself from playing gambling.

Every live casino is usually always crowded and these people enjoy every game, if it really makes it out of focus surely the casino will be quiet.
If you want to focus, don't play at the casino, play online casino. In that case you can freely relax, calm and focus. But it must be remembered that the atmosphere will subside with direct casinos.

Well, it depends I guess because in a traditional casino that I visited it is not very crowded like the one that OP shared, there way to crowded and I think it is very hard to focus on a very crowded casino. Gamblers have different preference in casinos some can still focus even if it is crowded but some people can't focus if there's a lot of people, if that's the case then they can opt to online casinos instead wherein they can gamble even at home and they can play without worrying about the crowd.
