461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 11:23:14 AM
You can if you really want to and if you think you are an expert but in my opinion, no matter how good you are at gambling it is still not a guarantee of sure win most especially if you're near the house edge already. I know people who are very confident when it comes to gambling because they think they can beat the house edge and they risk their life saving for it but unfortunately they've lost in the end. If you want to gamble so bad only spend the amount that you think you can afford to pay and lose because gambling can be addictive and if you will let your emotions control you then it will lead you nowhere.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 25, 2020, 12:27:34 AM
I think I can pass as a compulsive gambler based on your description, After some regrets and realization, I got decided to reduce my activity and start changing myself. I've been a gambling addict for years and wasting countless money on my addictiveness. Friends and foes tried to change me before but I can't stop being the same, It's hard to get rid of being a compulsive gambler but it is possible. Try slowing down the activities and putting a limitation on yourself. It's almost a year since I start to change and it brings a significant change to my life. I also didn't seek professional help for my addiction. Just some deep realization I was able to change.

Changing is not impossible.

Changing is indeed not impossible if you are really willing to change. If you are already a compulsive gambler it would be very hard to stop in a snap because gambling is already in your system and that you don’t have the ability to control it and you don’t care about the people around you. In this case, the only person that can truly help is your own self, if you will be determined enough to stop being that person then you can, you don’t have to stop immediately but you have to stop little by little until such time you’ll be a able to better control you gambling habits.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 24, 2020, 11:45:26 PM
Not really, I started gambling way back even before introduce to this forum and before I was accepted to the campaign. Joining a gambling campaign does not require someone to be a gambler but it would be better if you atleast try it’s services and be familiar of it’s offers since you are advertising them. Also, knowing what your gambling campaign all about is good to be able to answer queries incase someone will ask you about it.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: February 23, 2020, 05:03:15 PM
Blockchain is a ver good system but it is not decentralized thus, it will not replace banks. Most people in the institution wants control over something and blockchain being different would only mean that blockhain will remain what it is now.
465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy on Friday and Sell on Monday on: February 23, 2020, 03:42:36 PM
The researcher found that the average lowest price of bitcoin was at  6 am UTC time on Fridays and the best time to invest or buy bitcoin.

If you would have done this in the week-end just passed, you would have bought at around 10240$ and sold at 9790$. Not a good business.
The morale of the story is: don't just go by various self-called specialists, some don't know sh*t and Bitcoin market is more volatile than the "rules" they want so badly to find out.

Really not a good business because bitcoin volatility does not depend on the days of the week, it is not always that Fridays are good days to buy bitcoin and same with monday. The days of the week doesn't have much effect on bitcoin because the price moves mysteriously.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outdated, Loves Ethereum on: February 23, 2020, 03:25:00 PM
If bitcoin is outdated how come Ethereum hasn't overpower bitcoin? Yes the price of ethereum is getting better everyday but the price isn't even one forth of the current price of bitcoin so how can he say that ethereum is the new trend? Anyways, I don't know what is his basis of saying that and I don't really care what he says because for me, bitcoin is never outdated if ethereum will skyrocket to more than the price of bitcoin then that's the time I will agree that bitcoin is outdated.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 23, 2020, 02:56:12 PM
I don't think games are a good tool for educating adults about new concepts, they are time-consuming and distracting. You could use them to teach kids, but why would you want to teach kids about Bitcoin in the first place, it's not like they will be using it till they grow up.

Adults play games to relax and have fun, and educational games generally have poor gameplay, so I can't imagine such game being popular.

I disagree, I think it us a good idea to create a game that educates people about cryptocurrency because games can be fun and while having fun you can also learn something. For those who have not known bitcoin may find it boring to read and study bitcoin but if it's a game then it will be fun.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: February 23, 2020, 11:32:17 AM
Using Bots for trading is not good idea. Hear we don't learn anything but hear we get profits some times losses some times.

In opinion don't use bots for trading. Join some groups which share their genuine experience in trading. Ask your friends which is good choice, how to do trading like those. Those helps a lot.

Instead of learning anything it will only make you more confused about how to trade. Personally, I prefer learning trading on your own and don't rely on bots because they only work on what was programmed on them unlike if you learn it on your own you can trade with confidence and ease and the same time you can always change your strategy base on what the situation is. Bots can be good if your busy and you don't have time to trade but trading needs time and it pays to trade using your own judgment.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Destroying Bitcoin with a single question on: February 23, 2020, 11:01:32 AM
Let's just reduce this post to "Bitcoin is backed by nothing" type of argument and its value is determined by the people who uses it. This has been raised plenty of times before and yet bitcoin is still alive. Never destroyed.

Exactly, not only that, there has been a lot of rumors, scam accusations and etc that was thrown to bitcoin by various people or personalities but bitcoin is still alive. Bitcoin is a very strong technology that can't be tamed easily with anything, bitcoin has its share of advantages and disadvantages because nothing is perfect but bitcoin had helped a lot of people thus it will not be destroyed easily.
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pomp 100,000$ Prediction on: February 23, 2020, 10:03:24 AM
On second thought: $100,000 USD will be too easy, with that much momentum why not $357,034.63?  Grin

How I wish it's that easy for bitcoin price to skyrocket to $357,034.63. Come on guys, we know bitcoin can do so much but this isn't some kind of a joke that we can say the price will be like this and that. Anyhow, bitcoin can probably reach $100k after 5-10 years or even more knowing that $100k is still a very long way from $9900 today. It even dropped a little now and we aren't sure if it will continue to drop or will it be strong to strike up again to $10k in the coming days.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: February 23, 2020, 06:03:20 AM
It will be hard if you are already addicted to gambling because as you said it becomes a habit already. Getting out of gambling addiction is very hard you may need professional help or rehabilitation to ensure that you will not gamble anymore because if you will just say you'd stop on your own but we know temptations are everywhere if you are not that willing to really stop then you can't stop. Personally, the longest for me is like years, I don't gambling much and I only gamble when bored and sometimes I forget it for months or even years.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 23, 2020, 05:45:59 AM
Level 0:
Gamble while gamble and may forget it for months. Gamble only with friends and gambling is not an option to kill boredom.

This one is for me, I only gamble with friends which is very seldom, I don't also allocate a portion of my earnings to gambling and not really into thinking of any strategies to become successful in trading because for me regardless of what strategy you create for gambling the more you play and the closer you'll get to the house edge then it will be useless. I would rather play just for fun with friends and I also forget it for months.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 23, 2020, 05:23:41 AM
I do use some of my earning to buy goods and services, aside from gambling a bit of it. I seldom use the gambling service of the signature campaign I'm on for the reason that I seldom gamble, I only gamble if I'm bored because I don't want to be addicted. Also, when wearing the campaign it is better if you know what they offer or its services and how it works if incase someone will ask you about it.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the affect of Valentine day on Bitcoin Price on: February 21, 2020, 02:19:09 AM
I don't think Valentines will do any difference from other days, the trend from 2018-2019 is only a coincidence and it doesn't have any relation and to be honest, the only effect that I can think of is there will be a lot of spending using bitcoin because a lot will be spending for their special someone. For me, Valentines or any holidays are always the same with normal days where bitcoin do it's thing.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 20, 2020, 11:49:06 PM
To be honest, the gamblers that I know aren't rich at all they are broke. Well gambling is a good way to become rich because it can give you big winning however, people are people and when they win the jackpot they become greedy and they tend to continue gambling and most people will do all in and unfortunately they lost it and after losing the can't accept the fact that they've lost so they will continue to gamble trying to recover the losses and that's when playing recklessly and instead of recovering the loss they tend to add to it. Therefore, for me there is only very few people who become rich through gambling and actually I don't know anyone from my circle.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 20, 2020, 11:30:56 PM
Gambling can be fun but it can also be a threat once you get addicted. Some people see gambling as there way to have fun when bored like myself but I'd made sure that I have total control of myself and that I won't let myself become addicted to gambling because once addicted it will not do any good to you. The big threat for gambling is when one gets addicted because it is very hard to get out when gambling is already part of your system and it cannot only ruin your financial status but it can also ruin your family and life thus, gambling should be done in moderation.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 20, 2020, 07:14:49 AM
I don’t think they are real accounts and can be managed by someone of the site to show gamblers that some persons are winning.I believe that even the most regular gamblers cannot win daily and can’t manage the winnings as you are suggesting. This in dice is impossible as it is a game of chance controlled by a random algorithm which is programmed to make people lose money in the long run.

Right, it is most likely stats coming from the creators pretending to be an active gambler just to attract peoples attention. Gambling is all about business and businessmen so anything they can just to increase profits. Gambling is only good in the early games because they will let you win and if your lucky you’ll win the jackpot but if you will continue to gamble, the longer you gets the closer you are to the house edge and once you very close the chances of winning is very low thus, most people fall for it and instead they lose everything.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 20, 2020, 06:50:46 AM
There are professional advisers who can help you on how to trade well effectively, I think some of them have youtube channels that you can look into however, not all who claims they are professional aren't really professionals and you might just end up getting scammed. I would suggest you trade and trade even with small amount until you got the hang of it, it is much better if you learn it by yourself rather than asking someone to do it for it which can be complicated for you.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 19, 2020, 06:19:36 AM
Guys, It's time we need to be more cautious and avoid panic sell or massive buy we might see more of these market fluctuations which might be tempting as well as bothering. Please consider a broader picture before making any decision and consult with fellow peers rather than falling for a bull trap or panic sell, lets learn from our mistakes we made in the past.

This should have been done ever since to avoid getting into a bull trap who you can't blame other people who fall for those unreliable speculations. As investor it is very important that we study how the market moves so that we will not have to depend our decisions from other people predictions and for us to ensure we are not going into a bull trap.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: February 16, 2020, 03:27:49 PM
Personally, I don’t use trading bots because firstly, bots works based on what the programmer set it up and we already know that bitcoin can be very unpredictable and the factors affecting the price isn’t the same always and sometimes it’s a combination of factors. Secondly, bots cannot make changes on the trades right away unless if the creator changes it right away. However, bots can also be good for those who doesn’t have all the time in trading just make sure you chose the right and best bot for you.
