641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: November 25, 2019, 08:36:16 AM
LOL everyone laughed when I posted this. Look where Bitcoin is now. Only 2K USD to reach 5K USD : )))

That is because almost everyone is thinking that bitcoin will continue in the bullish trend and that they forgot that the price can go down to $5000 or even lower. I guess this is just a reminder to investors that bitcoin can go up as high as it can be but after that high price it may go down almost rock bottom so we should be smart enough in managing our coins before regretting anything.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 25, 2019, 07:13:13 AM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.

I may not be able to stop gambling unless i have no money left. I do not consider myself addicted and all the gambling addicts also do not think themselves addicted. This matter is very subjective and no one knows if they have control to stop the gambling or not, until they really face the situation where they want to stop it willingly.

I don't think that gamblers don't know they are addicted, they know but they are only in denial of the truth that they are already addicted. For me, they do have the capacity to control themselves it's just that they mostly let their greed affect their decisions or thinking to the point that they become unaware that they are already doing the wrong thing and I guess the only thing that can stop them is when they don't have everything already.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: November 24, 2019, 05:43:30 PM
Sure. Bitcoin could be worth that price or probably even more if people realize the importance of bitcoin in general and how it's a potentially great store of value, but I really doubt it will be in 10 years. For bitcoin to reach that price in such a timespan, the current financial system probably needs to collapse for people to be dumping their fiat into bitcoin.

10 years to get to $10,000,000?, I doubt it, we are even struggling now to reach again at the $10k mark now how much more $10,000,000. I know bitcoin can reach that but I guess that would be after many years I guess or if incase all bitcoins are already mined then the price will spike up but with todays situation it is still very impossible to reach that price.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 24, 2019, 04:41:32 PM
It is to easy to say bull run is coming but look at the price now, it is not even on the $10k mark, I think it would only take a miracle to atleast get to the $10k mark again before the year ends. To be honest, I have heard this phrase all the time and it seems that most people are spreading this to increase the hype but sadly it wouldn’t be enough, bitcoin is very unpredictable and with todays price new investors will doubt it so we can’t really guarantee that increasing the hype will result to a bull run.
645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 24, 2019, 03:23:52 PM
I can say that I have control over gambling because I wasn’t addicted to it and when I wanted to stop then I can really stop it if I wanted to. I know gambling can be bad once you are attached to it that is why I make sure to set rules for myself to avoid addiction, I think it is only a matter of discipline and you have a strong will to really stop gambling if needed.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 24, 2019, 08:23:27 AM
I gamble just to have fun but at the same time hoping to win of course because whether you are a heavy gambler or not there will always a time that you are hoping to win though you don't expect it too much if your gambling for fun. It is better to gamble with the mindset of having fun so that you will not be stressed or anything unlike when you are gambling to earn money wherein you think too much about winning and losing and most of the time when you lose you tend to be too emotional which can be bad in gambling.
647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: November 24, 2019, 08:05:47 AM
The truth is that When you have lots of BTC in your account. You are never tempted to go for higher leverages like x25, x50. All you have to do is go for x2 or x5 and keep scrapping your profits even with small movements while for traders with less money in their accounts, they usually get tempted to go for higher leverages leading to liquidations.

Those who have a lot of BTC on their account don't need to go for higher leverage because they have enough in their account already unlike those who have less balance on their account. Those who have higher balance are good at managing their assets by having small margin or leverage while those who are a bit struggling tend to risk almost everything without really thinking of the consequences. Risk is fine so long as you know when is the best time to risk something before you regret doing it.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 03:55:01 PM
Yes, I invested in bitcoin for a long term goal but there are times that I do trading just to take advantage of the best price there is so far. As for altcoins, I don’t invest in them not because I find it not worthy but I’d rather go with bitcoin and be on the safe side. Bitcoin is the best by far coin that I invested in and i’d love to stick to only one coin.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 23, 2019, 03:35:02 PM
good luck for those who wait btc touch 20k
seems like that price is already a dream, with the continues downtrend of bitcoins price i dont see bitcoin touching 20k again. Maybe the fud abount binance made the price of bitcoin to go down.

Bitcoin still have long way to go, in the upcoming years there are many bitcoin events and one of the biggest is the halving day that will be held next year. So i think bitcoin is still good for long time investment even the price right now is experiencing a downtrend i'm sure it will recover next year. the price drops because of the bad news from china that china's central bank said they're anti with cryptocurrency

Bitcoin has been around for years now and we already know it is not all the time on the green side, yes it may be down now but I believe that bitcoin will be able to bounce back to the top probably in the next few years, don’t just look at it on a short term period but also in long term. For me, bitcoin is best for long term investment but holding can be boring so you might wanna do some trading and try to maximize your profit.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 23, 2019, 03:14:11 PM
If your asking if we will give that person money then I would rather not give him especially if I don’t know the person because we really don’t know if that person is telling the truth about his loss, there is also a possibility that he is just making those story up just to ask money from people around here. Another possibility is that what he is saying is true that he lost big time but wanted to ask money to gamble again to recover the losses, whatever reason I would not easily give money because if I help them by giving money then they will be addicted more, I would rather advise them to stop right away to avoid having more and more losses and if he wanted money to start over then he can join signatures campaigns here as well.
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 23, 2019, 11:52:05 AM
I haven’t heard a story about someone who attempted or commit suicide because they lost funds in gambling but I’ve heard in the past of someone who died because he gambled non-stop in the effort of trying to recover the lost funds. Setting target or goals in gambling is easy but when you are already gambling and you have all the emotions going on then people tend to forget the target they have set before gambling, especially when they are winning, greed tends to overpower the mind of the gambler to the point that it is very difficult to stop anymore. In gambling controlled mindset is very important to avoid unnecessary problems and losses.
652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam? on: November 22, 2019, 12:49:23 PM
Never trust anyone who you have met online. A lot of people will promise you a lot of income in exchange for their service, and to deposit that amount to ***.  Have encountered this kind of scheme before and in all different  ways. The only pthing you need to know is to never ever let anyone handle your money online.

Those people who normally promises big income or returns with a little investment is almost always a scam, and scam mostly work online because it is where they can easily get people. Before you invest to someone or on anything make sure you know everything about that person or project because scammers are all over the net now waiting for their chance to fraud people so don’t trust anyone easily.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 20, 2019, 03:57:57 PM
If bitcoin will rally $100k then we will see a lot of people who will adopt bitcoin, we could probably have a mass adoption and aside from that people who have been holding bitcoins who have been waiting for that time will be millionaires in no time, it’s like hitting the jackpot. However, $100k is still a long way to go, it may or may not happen but hopefully it will happen, fingers crossed.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin PUMP ? on: November 17, 2019, 10:17:56 PM
What preparations do you make to see the coins to be pumped?
Are you going to wait for a higher upward trend or choose to sell when you have a chance?
People will surely keep on waiting for the price getting back high again and then sell. This is what it usually happens and no wonder why people manage to hold their coins because they want to earn more profits. Waiting will be paid off for sure but the problem is how long we've been waiting for cause until now we never saw huge pumps( satisfying pumps) that makes us decide to sell our coins.

655  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 17, 2019, 04:18:53 PM
It is very hard to say if people is going to use Libra or not because we still don't know what is it like exactly once launched and we can also say on behalf of other people because we all have different preferences. Personally, I might wanna give it a try just to experience how is it like with Libra but I will always go for bitcoin. I guess it is more of just satisfying my curiosity towards Libra but not of the same feeling and trust to bitcoin.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: November 17, 2019, 04:00:40 PM
My story is kinda similar, except I didn't make "huge" losses and no professional helped me, it was me teaching myself. But yeah, if one wanna publish the story which surely includes me being insulted for gambling away friends and families money, being into debts etc, I am fully to it. Gambling is a lie and a mistake, not a immoral crime that I should be scared to expose Smiley human beings are greedy by nature Wink

I think it is not really a bad idea to share your journey in gambling most especially if theres something in that journey that can probably enlighten or help those gamblers having difficulties battling with addiction. We are not perfect people thus, we make mistakes but the most important things is the learnings that we’re able to get from tat mistake or journey. I don’t gamble much and haven’t helped anyone but gambling stories of others helped me in making sure i’m in control with gambling.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 17, 2019, 03:45:32 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

It's almost the end of the year and bitcoin does not show any hype like the past years' trend and yeah, it's kinda disappointing but I also see this as an opportunity to buy more and invest more bitcoins and altcoins that have great potential in the market. I believe that bitcoin has a big chance to rise again in the coming months or years. Better be ready for it.

Exactly, it is the opportunity to buy bitcoins at a cheaper price while the bull is not yet here, it is one of the best time to increase your bitcoin and hen the bull comes then the profit will be higher as well. Bitcoin is a very strong currency that it is very hard to defeat, it may be gone soon if another coin that is way better than bitcoin but I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

659  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm officially sick of the bitcoin price right now... on: November 17, 2019, 03:01:35 PM
You have to fully understand the market so you'll get used to it.

This is not a typical of investment where its stable and we can predict it easily, this is very unpredictable and always believe that this market is manipulated that is why sometimes it goes sideways  and sometimes we witnessed a significant drop or increase, that's how volatile it is and instead of complaining, why not try to study the market very well so we can learn and make a good decision next time.

True,  everyday in fact every moment is a learning curve for us wherein we being in this domain for long time knows that the market does not go as per predictions and everyone has a different opinion about the market situation and make their own move based on their strategy.  We cannot be frustrated with the market situation rather studying the market will help us in further moves as you have rightly mentioned.

I think the reason why people who got easily sick with the market invested in bitcoin thinking that it provides easy money in a short period of time without really understanding the bitcoin market fully. Well, it is true that bitcoin is a good source of income but that is if the market is in the bullish times but always remember that the market is not always bullish sometimes it becomes bearish for months before becoming bullish again. Bitcoin is not the same as those ponzi scheme where they promises bog returns in a short time, for you to survive in the bitcoin industry you have to understand how the market really works and also ready for all the risk it has with it.
660  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [DISCUSSION] Paano Makatulong Sa Pagpigil ng Bitcoin/Crypto Investment Scams? on: November 16, 2019, 03:19:45 PM
