1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 17, 2019, 03:43:21 AM
The Banks are not the real problem here, the real problem are the payment processors that are used to convert bitcoins to Fiat, because that is not how Bitcoin was supposed to be used.

I know that using bitcoin in many transactions made us support and promote it in many ways. It is the proper way of using it as a payment in many aspects. You said that "it is not how Bitcoin was supposed to be allowed," but what if there are people in business who don't accept bitcoin as payment?

I think it is also acceptable that we can process bitcoin to fiat in terms of necessity and circumstances.

The article makes sense, but you have to remember that governments are calling the shots, because they are not allowing Bitcoin to function as a legit currency.  Angry

In terms of the government, not all government prohibits bitcoin as a function of their country's currency. For example, China made its currency as their legit currency for payment.

If they can do that, what about those other countries which allow bitcoin as their legit currency. Think about that.
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 16, 2019, 04:41:10 AM
I’m not a massive gambler (as in I don’t gamble with more than I can afford to lose).

Then you don't experience the real thing about gambling. When you suffer losses in gambling, that is the time you will look for a way for you to avoid getting losing. Doing some analysis and investigation about winning more than losing.

We all know that losses are unpredictable, but having strategies can also lessen the risk of losing money. Just limit your bet to your maximum amount that you can.

I can probably guarantee you that over the years I am at losses though. I haven’t kept a record of the damage, probably a good thing though Cheesy

Counting all your losses is essential so that every time you lose a certain amount of money, you can retrieve it. You should list it to your note, all the money you've spent. So that when you try to gamble every time, you have an amount to reach for you to win and reclaim all your losses.

Not having a record will lead you to ignore all your losses. When that happens, you are not aware of all the damage you had in gambling.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 01:23:05 AM
Personally, I tend to gamble with fiat since the poker houses I play at only accept fiat (e.g. chips). However, I've dabbled with online gambling with cryptocurrencies on several different platforms including casinos and sportsbooks, but I wouldn't say this is my usual.

At least you tried to join those online gambling, and you experienced how advantageous it is. It is faster and secured when gambling online using cryptocurrency. Try it to become your usual activity when you play.

So far, I don't think I've seen any gambling platforms that offer both cryptocurrency and fiat gambling. Though I would expect it would be quite easy to integrate into brick and mortar casinos, but quite difficult for online casinos due to regulatory issues.

You said above that "you'd joined online gambling with cryptocurrency on many different platforms," but why you've not seen any gambling platforms that offer both cryptocurrency and fiat? In my experience, YES, it is easy and fast transactions. Although it has regulatory issues is still function and updated day by day to avoid more problems, because it is just an online platform, it means digital.

I suggest you try to use FortuneJack, and this can be a BTC casino. It has many games and a variety of promotions, bonuses, and it is transparent for the users. It can manage eight different cryptocurrency and 500 more casino games. There are no other online gambling platforms that are well-founded like this.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: November 15, 2019, 04:35:11 PM
I think gambling addiction as its a serious illness which might lead to destruction of your health also.

I think not, and gambling addiction is not the same as cigar addiction when it comes to its effects. It is not related, and it is a different aspect, so I don't agree with what you've stated. There are a lot of effects of gambling addiction, but not to the point that it will give you an unhealthy lifestyle. It is possible but for those who are not knowledgeable enough about gambling.

Once you destroyed your finances which will likely to happen for gambling addicts, you will start destroying your health as well as you have no peace in life, you cannot concentrate, can't sleep and can't eat well and you will live a miserable life.

When that happens, you are not ready, or you didn't research before doing gambling. Seek first the information like, what to do before gambling, effects of gambling, how to do betting, etc. that will benefit you for you to have a successful and strategic gambling. Doing some analysis and investigation in gambling will make you knowledgeable, well-informed, and intelligent to avoid losses. Avoiding losses will now hinder you from destroying your health because of that.

Yes, losses can make you unhappy, depressed, and miserable, but there is a solution for that. Try to practice gambling, try first a minimum bet, and limit your odds for you to control your money. Then if you win, you're lucky! If you come to the point where your losses are huge enough, this is where you should now know how to CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS and improve your SELF-DISCIPLINE — learning that two will make your mind healthy during tough times.

1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 15, 2019, 03:02:55 AM
Gambling is not a kind of chasing money nor a sort of source of income. It is a game that someone looking themselves to entertain while alone.

If you're passionate about gambling, if you're lucky and wise enough, then it is a possible source of money for you. You should not gamble when you're alone, and it will urge you to spend more money while you're sad. It is not easy to control your emotions when something is bothering you while losing a certain amount of money.

If you're alone, find someone who will support you in gambling, even your friends. Gambling helps you to have a lot of friends, and it will enhance your social skills.

There's nothing difficult if you apply in your self how self-discipline works and know your limit on how much you are going to spend in gambling.

Not all people in this world are the same; maybe some of them have a tough time trying to control their temper or emotions. Not everyone can do self-discipline, as long as you enlighten them on what self-discipline is. In that case, you can now limit yourself to spending a minimum amount of money.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 14, 2019, 01:49:29 PM
Even with odds like this, it is still unpredictable if what will be the outcome of the fight but records of recent winnings sometimes don't reflect on who's going to win sometimes I think this is what interesting about sports betting there is a risk in it but you can surely have a hint on who's gonna win if you are familiar with their game or fights or you are on track with the latest updates on their fight I think your good in making great bets, well losing is part of this all it is really normal to have a losing bet in my opinion.

So do you think that researching and observing about the past result can't affect the odds? It still has a factor in choosing which side we should bet. For example, in basketball, we all know that Kawhi Leonard was the Finals MVP last season, and he gave the Toronto Raptors a championship. So if that happened, there's a probability that he can also bring the Los Angeles Clippers to the championship.

Think about that; doing some research about previous results can help you predict on which team you should place your odds in the present. It will help you to earn profits and enjoy yourself at the same time.

Just analyze my example above. There's a lot of factors to consider, so don't just say that it is unpredictable. Yes, it's unpredictable, but you should still look on the positive side and believe in yourself and be confident.
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My tips for Starladder in Berlin (counter-strike) on: November 14, 2019, 01:14:12 PM
I bet on Astralis and they were beaten by NRG?

What is happening with Astralis? The back to back major champions are in the slumps right now. I am not updated to what is happening with them but it seems that they are having a problem. This might be a reason for another reshuffle of the team, what do you think guys? Oh yeah, thanks for the OP.

Don't just trust the team that you want to win. It is a money game when you bet during Major Tournaments. Do some research before making a bet! At least you earn money if you tried to search for the team that has a high percentage in winning a game against their opponent. The reason why you place your bet is to earn money. You're lucky if you place a bet on your favorite team, and it is dominant in the tournament. You are guaranteed to win and enjoy watching the game at the same time. Please, do some research and observe the bracketing.

And in terms of your favorite team, if they lose, it's okay because at least you placed your bet on a strong team and not on the side, which is not 100% sure win.

There are some lost but still, I do get some ideas where to bet, BTW, I will be betting on G2 too without the tip.

Yeah, as what I've said, look for the team that has a high winning percentage. Don't just focus on your team, and it will lead you to a happy and profitable moment while monitoring the game.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 13, 2019, 03:43:48 PM
I'm not into gambling but I have some clients and classmates who are Reay into gambling, if they don't gambling virtually due to low internet they will find way to play even around their vicinity

But the topic is about the longest break you have on not gambling. You just stated that you have clients and classmates who made their way to play gambling. Your statement is very far from the topic, and you said that they are ready to play even in their place. You spoke about their cleverness about gambling.

I, the longest break I had on, is about three years of not gambling. I just did a private business of my own, family, and my investments. Gambling is about taking a risk, and it is not a 100% win-win. So I just did a break about not gambling to take a rest and enjoy my money to something else.

Familiar with tong-its, they will play it anywhere as long as they have time, they consider it past time that they bring cards everywhere or they will buy cards since it's too popular in our country many stores sell it.

I like playing tong-its, but if it's my time to take a rest about playing, I will not play as long as I can. There's always a time where you will get tired of gambling. That's for sure, I guarantee you.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 12, 2019, 04:15:43 PM
I do not think that any gambler will stop gambling after big wins, then you are wrong. Gamblers are usually greedy and they will not stop gambling specially when they have a lot of money recently won to gamble more.

Not all people are the same, although gambling is addictive, there's no way that gambling is a 100% win to you. What if after you won a huge amount of money, when you still play gambling again, and then you lose? Who's to blame now?

If you ask my opinion, i too will not quit gambling because now i would have won more money to gamble and enjoy.

If I were you, I will do a business out of my own money in gambling rather than retaking a risk playing gambling. Continuing is not always an option for you to have a tremendous amount of money in gambling. Investing is also necessary because it is a life long business, so think critically.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 12, 2019, 03:37:23 PM
SMB will rank no.5 in the standings whatever happens on their remaining games, a SMB vs Ginebra match in the playoff is unavoidable this time. SMB is very vulnerable in the playoffs, they are just lucky last time against NorthPort but this time against a crowd favorite team, they need a dominant import which for now they don't have.

It doesn't mean that they placed no. 5, they can now defeat the crowd favorite team, which is Ginebra. Any basketball team can reach that kind of position in the standing, so don't be too confident. They are just lucky, and being blessed is not absolute. And also, they don't need a dominant import because the play is coming from a great coach. Having a smart and intelligent coach can help a team win, Tim Cone is an example of it.

SMB's journey to the grand slam is not looking good as of now.

Because I'm sure that Ginebra will have a successful journey to the Grand Slam, trust me.

First of all, you say that you have the right to request ID and location confirmation from anyone before one can withdraw money from your website. Many gamblers prefer to stay anonymous.

But they are the one who is responsible for the safety of your account. Try to do a background check about the website so that you can ensure your safety before using it. Why should you not trust those EOS-based gambling site creators in terms of your location and ID? I think they want to confirm if you're active and to know if you're a legit user.

Also, most of them are professionals, so when I used their website, I'm confident and comfortable.

One might have 80% of transactions with faucet without knowing that it's against the rules. Wouldn't it be easier to block access to faucet when the limit is reached, rather than put responsibility on users?

It depends on their administrator if they will going to block that one who breaks their rules.

By the way, do you mean block? Permanently? Or what if they just put an interval like a day or a week? Before using a faucet again. Besides, allowing other users to use faucet is their responsibility because other websites authorizes it.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Application (Dapp) on: November 06, 2019, 03:07:03 PM
Dapps are safe, but some do not, I've used Imtoken for 2 years and moved using a trust wallet for 1 year until now safe because they are decentralized reliably.
Different from the wallet in the chrome add-on or software application some of them keep our private key and suddenly take our balance. So I think Dapps is safe if choosing a good one like Imtoken and trust wallet.
After reading some articles about dapps, I can say that they are 80% to 90% safe based on how they works the 10% to 20% are still at large on possibility to be hacked like what I experienced on ImToken, at first I didn't notice it until I saw it real time that my tokens are diminishing. I E-mailed them and they were still unable to answer what was happened.

Meron ba satin dito ang full time trader?

1576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins in Jan 2019 vs Nov 2019 on: November 06, 2019, 12:49:51 PM
to be honest, until now, I have started to lose confidence in XRP. I also realize that XRP did not make a significant increase this year. in fact, since 2018, the price has decreased from $ 2.3 to $ 0.30 at present, and the ATH has reached $ 3.8. it was a really big reduction, and even from the beginning of 2019 to the present, the price was really stable and didn't show a significant increase.

for now, I plan to see the development of XRP, because the development of bitcoin and ETh could affect the price of XRP in the following year.
Although we haven't much from XRP this year, there are some news that XRP will be used by a popular money remittance company which will be a reason to make the XRP known by the people not just the bitcoin. There are pretty valuable changes in the market these days specially on their prices, could it be the indicator? as we are approaching the end of the year.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Criminals got balls because no COP or law to tackle them on: November 06, 2019, 12:06:09 PM
I read people's post on this forum saying even if regulations find its way to crypto space scams will never seize to exist and they keep comparing it to real life criminals even when we have COPS ,POLICE FBI, COURTS crime rate is still increasing, well this is my answer to all of you, in crypto space we don't have COPs or Police to hunt down scammers, accepted, but what do you think will happen if there is no cops, police, courts in real life? criminal activities will grow alot with no boundaries, it will be the same thing with crypto space, if there are laws that can jail scammers at least they will start hiding and there will be FEAR, unlike when there is nothing to fear off scammers now, scammers have too much freedom compare to real life criminals where there is something to tackle them.
Wait. You seem to be misguided. Using crypto currencies doesn't mean that you are invulnerable to the law. If you commit a crime, you are a criminal and you will be prosecuted. Doesn't matter if you use fiat currency to commit that crime or crypto currencies. You will still be a law breaker. It is just that finding the criminal becomes a harder task for them if they use crypto currencies.
I tend to agree, actually even in using digital, law is still effective. There is a law created to counter every situation even in crypto. With or without cops, using crypto in illegal activities doesn't mean that you can avoid being apprehended by the law. Once an individual committed a crime, there is always a law that will chase them.
I could not agree more, wrong is wrong even if every one is doing it and right is right even if no one's doing it. Crime is crime and law is law, even here on crypto space law is above us ruling the right thing and then there are authorities that executes it. These criminals were not able to capture because of the anonymity, and lead no where because of complex patterns.
1578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Artificial Intelligence to predict the market on: November 05, 2019, 02:24:15 PM
Hello @everyone

I’d like to present you something which is interesting for every trader.

https://www.b-cube.ai has created Artificial Intelligence that can predict the Bitcoin and other Crytocurrency markets. Register to the Website and you can see our records, with the portfolio gain percentages.

Using the Website is all FREE until the 31 of December, there is no need to give any credit card numbers in the registration process.

We have won 4 startup competition awards so far with this method. Our Team have gained experience at previous working places like Morgan Stanley.

All the signal services out there are scams.. It should not be like this. Ideal semi-financial services are transparent, credible, correct and bona fide.

Come, Sign up at https://www.b-cube.ai/register.html
Let’s transform this scamy industry and left the nonsenses behind us! With any question, DM me here or write to the website contact.
AI is slowly taking over and is very helpful especially when it comes to technical analysis. But it does not mean that the prediction is accurate since it is only based on the past data and the prediction depends on what happened to the data similar to the present.

I've seen seeing vast promotion here with the AI on trading. From stalking to the poster, it seems like they just post and go.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: November 05, 2019, 01:39:31 PM
We need some kind of regulations that would prevent such a dramatic amount of scam projects. Unfortunately, all those scammers are creating a bad image for crypto in general which makes it extremely difficult to attract new investors.
Sadly we couldn't do anything about it but to know when a thing is a scam to avoid. We cannot solve this kind of illegal doing here, on this kind of industry where anonymity is involve. ICO these days are quite hard to detect if legit or not because there are lot of ICO in the past that has a decent everything but still able to scam and run with the money.
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Would Really Buy Facebook Coin? on: November 05, 2019, 07:02:54 AM
Imagine how it would be easy to use Libra coin in everyday life. People are using messenger or FB app everyday, now there will be an opportunity to send money as easy as sending message, without knowing private key and another annoying things connected to the cryptocurrencies.
We are all talking about crypto and adoption, but we still don´t have an easy solution for the masses.
Undeniably facebook is at the top among the social networking websites and application so becoming the leading alternative coin isn't that impossible. Talking about libra does not mean talking about facebook only, but the 20 companies that backs it up like paypal which is a big company. No wonder if libra comes huge in the market, facebook has billions of user worldwide. Maybe the next king? who knows.
