1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Market Is Manipulated on: January 07, 2020, 03:06:42 AM
In every type of market there are powerful persons and organization that can manipulate the price. In stock market there are jockeys who have power to pump and dump a specific stocks while in cryptocurrency market, there are whales who have huge amount of bitcoin that can easily influence its movement. Manipulation is everywhere we cannot do about it and for me it is now normal.

I can't get the reason still many people are against the manipulation though they don't have really nothing to do about it to stop it. In my opinion, with these cases in cryptocurrency community, what is better to do is to comply and accept the fact the profits goes to those who have more control, and if we have less control over the market, we'll be good if we try to be in the stream with whales, follow their movements and get the profits. These manipulation is a just a mere fact that cryptocurrency is profitable.

Because some people took advantage of manipulating the market and make money out of it. That's not fair for those who are not knowledgeable on how the market moves or works. Market manipulation is a bad thing if the person manipulates it doesn't do it in a right way. The one who manipulates it have has the power to control and manage how money moves in the market and maybe they seize their opportunity to took advantage and get more money.

1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: January 06, 2020, 02:29:43 PM
On the other hand, impulsive reactions could lead to huge losses, just like the bluff OP has presented.

That's why bluffing is a skill and you need to practice while you play and play poker. That's why it is called poker because you need to control your facial expression for your opponent to become confused about the things that you're doing in the table. Bluffing is not that easy to perform because it is a way on how you will help yourself win a lot of money in the end.

Though tbh, Bluffing is a huge weapon of gamblers. Have lost to them quite occasionally and have often used them myself. Just that... Me using it hasn't really brought any benefits or at least has made a close enough win to offset my losses from it.

It is very hard to predict the cards of the opponent if he's very good in performing bluffing during the game. By bluffing you can manipulate the game but the risk are higher because if you're doing bluffing while you don't have good cards then you're dead. The consequences will be only towards your money, and some of the gambler in poker are losing a lot of money because of that. If you start a poker game with continuous losing then you're not that lucky in that certain day.

Manipulation is everywhere we cannot do about it and for me it is now normal.
Price manipulation act is played in every investment atmosphere but i dont beliefe theres nothing we can do about it because we can completely seize the opportunity that comes with it somewhat than preoccupation  with it negative impact on the market.

Yeah because it's decentralized the the price was so cheap before, people who already bought bitcoins when the price was so cheap must be owned so many cryptocurrency assets right now and they could pump and dump a coin easily, so price manipulated was not a secret again right now
Yes, price manipulation is not something secretive but the last time i examined people are whales in the cryptosphere are the early miners and this are the same set of people that usually cause the dump in price of some new project coin/token while some people blame the bounty hunters for it.

Reading is not that easy to do when we all know that bitcoin is very volatile compared to other alt coins. You should trade depending on the chart because it will serves us your guide when and how much you'll trade. Analyzing charts can give you hint or knowledge so that when you trade, you prevent losses and you can manipulate your money. Planning is also important in trading, technical analysis and good decision making will also help you to a successful trading.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 06, 2020, 11:55:44 AM
Whats Ur take on that?

War situation USA Trump Economy and crypto Currrency?

Do u Think that current situation have any impact on crypto?

@Polo7 first of all let’s pray that both countries can reach some sort of settlement and avoid starting a war, as a war will not benefit them and both countries economies could take a hit due to war. I’m not sure if war news is directly having an impact or no but bitcoins prices are steadily rising upwards and it has crossed $7.5k on preev. Further if a war does breakout then I feel we shall see a sharp rise in crypto prices, as people will suddenly rush to buy crypto’s to store their currencies and this sudden rate of adoption shall push up crypto’s prices at least for the short term.

In terms of its price, maybe it can affect crypto because of that serious conflict between two country. When that happens, many countries will be involved in the war and many properties and assets will be destroyed and become useless. The same in the cryptocurrency, it will only valuable in buying massive weapons and arms for the war.

And after that it will become useless after the world becomes fucked up. Imagine that money will become useless because of the worst impacts of the war and the World economy will be also vanished and will have a constant downward movement and that is so sad for cryptocurrency.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 06, 2020, 11:20:33 AM
I never respond about someone who i don't know PM me and offer something, any PMs i wouldn't ever to respond. I think people should do that because scammers will use a lot of ways to steal money from us. And something like what OP tell to us wouldn't harm anyone if people can ignore it. Glad for OP he is not easily believe to something like that.
the scammers will certainly do many ways to find people who are easy to get hooked and we must understand it. it's good indeed to forget and ignore things that are not clear, especially on offers that do not go in to what I think is potentially fraudulent. nowadays many methods are done by fraudsters, including sending PM or can also be via email but email will usually be more organized.
It should be the reason why we have to be cautious and attentive when it comes to emails because we can't literally assure that their intention was good. Also, scammers these days will always look for opportunity to deceive us even if we tried to protect and secured our funds by not believing into their words and promises particularly when you have seen that it is quite difficult to fulfill. They will surely take advantage of you if they get the chance and that is why you have to open your mind when it comes to these kind of problem because you will never know when you will encounter it. It is also the reason why researching is always recommended because it can help you identify and determine if something is legit, it can help you make the right decision.

Don't you ever ever trust easily, most of the time people will do everything just to fool you. They work hard to scam and to take all the money you have on your account. As much as possible, always look on something and never trust someone when they tell you to do some actions that you'll not benefit for it. Their words are very persuasive and do not try to get on the bait. Always know those people who make a conversation with you and also secure your accounts.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 05, 2020, 06:23:52 PM
If you are just playing games such as dice and online casino or gambling platform then mobile could be an option, but if you want to experience some real good casino feelings, then try to play gambling in desktop with sound effect and full screen. Though, it could also be achieved in mobile, having a huge screen do really matters for me if I want to test my luck with the best possible experience.

For sound effect you can attach a Bluetooth speaker and enjoy Dolby surround effect with JBL. It is not a movie to enjoy it is a game to entertain.

Sound effects does not matter to me. I play on my tablet and the biggest problem that I have faced is navigating within a website. Gambling websites have worst navigation. You have to move from one page to another, unlike a desktop where all the pages can be in seen in one place.

Some gamblers play because of the winning money and not on the quality of other features. Yes, it can really increase the excitement but it doesn't affect the result of the game in gambling. For example, you played dice, you have a good sound effects in desktop but did it increase your winning percentage? I think not. So better gambling in mobile device, less hassle and easy to play because you can monitor it, you can play anywhere just check if there's a wi-fi or signal in your location. Mobile devices are very handy and easy to carry so that you can gamble anytime and anywhere.
1388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 05, 2020, 03:53:12 PM
This is nothing. Imagine what would happen to the bitcoin prices if there was a worldwide conflict. Easy >$50k, probably close to $100k.
Even bitcoin price will be higher than that if the WW III happened worldwide. But I hope WW III will never happen because it will cause heavy losses for allies and the economy will be in decline for a long time, we live in a world of peace and I want bitcoin to grow in the current peaceful world. Btw with what happened lately I believe bitcoin price will soon go up to $ 10,000 in the next few weeks

I've never thought that conflict and war can bring upward movement in the price of bitcoin. How could you just think of that? If you're country is involved in a war against the two country, then Goodluck. But probably, there are also other country who will join the chaos because of the merging of allies of each countries. Bitcoin will probably become useless of all of us are killed and our properties are damaged. But in the market, bitcoin will really have a sudden increase in demand that results to a higher value and price.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: Grandma tell you to keep old coin in piggy bank on: January 05, 2020, 02:46:47 PM
let me tell you, Bitcoin has only existed for 10 years and it hasn't taken a long time to be able to assert the value of this digital asset. Don't be too subjective to Bitcoin and believe it will grow every year and its price will be $ 1m and bla bla ... don't be silly. If you are criticizing fiat money, then you should not use it anymore and use crypto to pay your expenses, see if anyone accepts the coin you want to pay. Also, if you love cryptocurrencies and bitcoin, let me see why would it grow so well in the future if hold it? Meanwhile, coin is just a kind of tool for Blockchain to operate effectively. Governments and organizations can create a coin similar to Bitcoin!

I personally don't believe btc will grow up to $1mil or even $100k, but it can go up to $20-25k I guess.
But I wan't cryptocurrencies to be a usable tool like USD, not a thing to speculate and gamble around.
So it is better if btc won't go up or down drastically
Your grandmother could be saying that with fiat coins in mind. Thing is, fiat behaves very different  from cryptocurrencies. so hodling them might be a good thing, but not in hopes of reselling it for a higher value in a decade or two as bitcoin is intangible unlike physical fiats that holds innate value aside from the value it was assigned with.

Because we all know that older people knows best and have a lot of experience when it comes to preserving the value if something. That's why most of our grandmother and grandfather have something what they called "antique" and its value was preserved that its price is also high and has a history. Although fiat is very reliable right now, bitcoin can give you a brighter future if the price becomes high again.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - Set your Target and Make your Plans on: January 05, 2020, 06:10:31 AM
For those who own less than 1 Bitcoin, that illusive target of owning at least 1 could
potentially get harder in 2020.

I will be able to buy a LOT of bitcoins in 2020, when the price of 1 Bitcoin goes down to 100 US Dollars  🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hard Facts

Make sure that after you do that, you know what's the consequence and the effect of risking your money. We all know that bitcoin is very hard to expect when it will increase its price again because of the market today. Hopefully, when the time comes it really go high, all of us are holding bitcoin whenever there are risk in the past. But for now, you should think wisely before investing or buying bitcoin to hold for a long long period of time.
1391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders spend crypto when they can? on: January 04, 2020, 08:51:12 PM
I definitely think people should take profits regularly. You want to convert your profits into a house, a car, a lifestyle, otherwise, what's the point?

And yes, do support those crypto businesses that accept crypto and spend some of it. Otherwise the whole eco-system will die and the value of your crypto will die with it. If crypto just becomes speculation, then eventually the party will end. You need the eco-system underneath to be robust so that it can all continue.

When a trader wanted to enjoy their benefits from crypto, definitely they should spend crypto as they wanted to. Joining the eco-system, crypto value will not dies as long as it has been circulating on different types of spendings.
Each and every product that has linked with cryptocurrency, has its independent body, and as long as the demand increased the price eventually rises.

Maybe they will use crypto if it is very necessary like those necessities including, food, health, shelter, clothes and anything that is in a Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. But if you will just use it for something that you want or something that has no value to your life, do not attempt to do so. Proper management of money is also a good thing to practice for you to prevent spending your money to the things that is useless.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 04, 2020, 08:18:20 PM
Major commodities and some major indexes went red after the attack. But I doubt Bitcoin will have any major effect. The reason being the size of the market. Market cap is nothing as compared to other commodities and assets. Thus the effect, if any, won't be any pronounce.
I doubt crypto community has anything to worry about. Also, if people start taking out their investments, then that would also effect cryptos. But I highly doubt a possibility of war.

I think maybe the event that make a possible world war 3 will also help the bitcoin. Because maybe they can use bitcoin to buy arms and guns, bombs and anything that can be a massive weapon in war. The production of weapons will increase and faster because of an easy transactions in bitcoin. So that the market will become more susceptible to increase the demand and many will invest.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of World War III to Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2020, 07:44:54 PM
Point of correction, gulf world war III. No country that has internet monopoly and nothing will happen to internet if paraventure the two countries go into war with each others alongside their allies. Bitcoin will stand a better position to blossom if eventually the Middle East go into war with their allies.

Remember this: infront of any war, every restrictions are over ruin and doesn't stand, so, Iranians will likely switch into bitcoin to survive with their economy, most especially the government which will face more sanctions at the end. Bitcoin will not go down if there is war of any kind between any country and USA. Probably the creator of Bitcoin knowns what will happen after 10th year of it creation. If the war escalate eventually, only early adoptors will benefit.

It would be insane to hope for war just for bitcoin to rise. Lives will be lost but I'm hoping US will not really go into it because we all know what will happen. This will not kill internet of course and BTC will rise when allies take action, the battle ground will just be the middle east countries but lives go waste for sure.  I have no idea what Soleimani did in the past but my guess is that didn't invade any country before.

If world war 3 badly continues, the world will be fucked up. Those gunshots and killings will become a disaster that everyone will be experiencing. Bitcoin will become useless if money will become worthless because of those resources that are destroyed due to the exchanging of grenades and bombs. Imagine a world without life and is pure chaos and corpse. Isn't it beautiful to have a peaceful life while waiting for bitcoin's price to rise again? Unfortunately, Bitcoin will be valueless if every countries are fighting for dominion and vengeance.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: January 03, 2020, 03:33:38 PM
Vargas could only score a majority decision draw over the likes of Thomas Dulorme and Adrien Broner—two distinctly B+ class fighters. There's no way he's going to be able to handle Mikey Garcia, a guy who only lost once to the much bigger Errol Spence Jr by UD.

Let's be realistic here, Vargas is going to get whomped. I don't care if he's 5 inches taller, that's not going to matter much when Mikey is breaking down his body.

With that said, I'm not expecting a knockout. Vargas has been in there with some big punchers in the past and has stayed standing. Mikey isn't the hugest puncher, but he can definitely bang.

I predict this will go to UD in favor of Mikey, with around a 25% chance for a late knockout.

That's a good prediction, some are predicting Vargas others, Garcia, both fighters are capable to beat any fighter, I go for Garcia here reminds me of Mosley small but a very technical fighter with speed and has a good counter, this has the making of a good fight and I don't think it will be lopsided just like what we've seen in some of the past fights.

As you can see, from Mikey Garcia's record, it is a big factor to look on because of the number of fights he won. That's an strong evidence that he can beat anyone who he fought. Vargas is not enough to beat a 4 times champion. I also watched some fights of Garcia and his opponent really suffer from strong punches after the game. The height is also a factor, although Vargas is taller, Garcia is shorter, we all know that the smaller the quicker.
1395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance not accept my citizenship, Alternative? on: January 03, 2020, 11:00:45 AM
Binance, OKB, Bitterex, not accept my citizenship, whats best alternative?
Most of the time I tarde BNB, BTC.
I want to trade 190K$.
Safety is number 1 Priority for me.
Low fee is number 2 Priority.

Guys my Citizenship is fkng Iran, I asked Binance support and guess what? They said not only they dont accept my KYC also they told me to leave Binance forever and they told me Im not allowed to use Binance even for small amount btc.

You can use Atomic wallet
https://atomicwallet.io/

It has BNB con listed, and you can do atomic swaps.
Nobody can stop you using Atomic wallet.
(Other option is also Exodus wallet)
exodus.io

Other option you can try is Kucoin exchange - you don't need to submit kyc for level1 and it has BNB coin listed.
https://www.kucoin.com/

One more small thing that can 'change' your citizenship is called virtual private network

Last but most risky thing is using some chinese exchange/asian - that I don't recommend!

It is good that you have already recommended atomic wallet, which is quite popular and has positive reviews.
You can read user comments about it - https://revain.org/wallets/atomic-swap-wallet. There is always an alternative, just have to look for them.

Alternative? I also use bitmex rather than binance. They are almost the same it allows you to use a certain amount if btc. It don't have a problem with KYC and it will make you more comfortable using it. There are still a lot of alternative  trading platform that can fill up the quality that of trading that you're looking for. Most of the time they have the same issue and problem but not the verifying of accounts. Maybe binance only have that issue.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 03, 2020, 08:32:38 AM
More countries are into blockchain adoption. This is a forward move, but countries are specific in their stand of supporting blockchain technology and standing against cryptocurrency usage particularly bitcoin. China once a big supporter of Bitcoin is now supporting blockchain and in the plan of having their own cryptocurrency. Maybe this can take place with more countries, but there needs to be some common asset that unifies everything. This role probably taken by bitcoin.
In fact, no country really supports bitcoin and the current cryptocurrency, because they can't control it. China has never supported Bitcoin, it has implemented many plans to stop bitcoin since 2017 and it continues at the present time. China only accepts blockchain and is researching and developing to create a cryptocurrency for their own country, a cryptocurrency they can control it

Either they don't support or they don't care, it's either between the two. They don't know the advantages of having a cryptocurrency in a certain country because they didn't see that some countries allow it. China is a large country and their economic state is over growth, the same in their population. The digital currency they made is easy to handle since their mindset is about how money regulates in their country. By that, they know that more money can control people.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 03, 2020, 07:26:12 AM
As the state of economy does at times really influence levels of crime and social aspects in any community.

Right now under the fiat system there is a major and growing sides of rich and poor.
With many times people who are "without" getting into trouble. Such as committing crimes. Getting into substance abuse etc.

If society or at least communities are able to become more independent and based their markets all on crypto. In which they follow the principles of crypto? as in prevent inflation and create an equal or at least more fair financial market. If that was the case/

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?

The rich can always buy all they want while the poor cannot and had to find ways to accumulate more, nothing will really change just because they implement Cryptocurrency into their system, and a criminals will always commit a crimes because a criminal has a mind of criminals even if they are rich or poor, we are still going to rely on the government for peace and order.
sometimes the government is needed to control the ecosystem in a country, without people who can make good arrangements, chaos will occur. actually back to the people who use crypto, do they want to seek profits in the normal way or even make fraud and we still need the government to make fraud afraid of the rules.

But a cryptocurrency is not that hard to regulate in a certain country if the government is knowledgeable and know the benefits of it. They will never let a chaos occur as long as they manage it properly and let the citizens use a crypto in normal way. It is normal for the government to ask benefits from something that they know when money is involved.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: January 02, 2020, 06:12:06 PM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?
It can be possible to be more lucky in the event of new year as in this event many people come to gamble many of them are not good in gambling and if you will bet with them then you will definitely win that bet but the condition is that if you are a good gambler as if you will not be a good gambler then you will also be the same like other non expert gamblers who often lose their money on events like this new year.

Probably, yes. Because there is something with you that feels more confident because the year is a new beginning for you. It's just like you bought a new car and you use it because it feels brand new and nothing can change but the way you live, something like that.

But if you know that nothing's change when it's new year or not, you're a good gambler because the year and your luck isn't related to each other. There's nothing more with luck, if you're lucky then you're lucky, if you're not, then goodluck to your money.
1399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 02, 2020, 05:26:40 PM
A new year and new hope of adopting blockchain and cryptos around the world. Millions of traders or investors are on this Digital Asset Market already.

A good number of people are coming on this market everyday. What are the challenges, regular issues or problems for the traders or investors during investing? Security, High Risk, Scammers, Hackers etc. can be the problems. What do you think?

For me, high risk is not a problem in every trader, because of course all trades have risks, it depends only on what we want to choose. The main problem now is security, hacking, scam, well that is the big problem now. If we look back 2 years, the condition of crypto is declining so fast, and this is caused by various aspects indeed but the biggest aspects are on the 3 things above.

Yeah high risk is not a problem since it is a twin of tradings since we got a huge chances to lose for single wrong movement we do and to avoid such losses or maybe to minimize it maybe it's best to select the best platform to trade and learn the possible best entries together with chart reading since for this doings or methods we can minimize the risk to lose our money, History is really helpful and we can use that to gather data and to win in the present time.

High risk is just a small part in trading but the big factors are those barriers that causes harm in trading. You're right, scammers, hackers, wrong addresses are the main reason why there are traders who suffers from huge losses in their accounts and that's what we should focused on before anything else. We should become more secured and safe first before we make a transactions with some other people. Much better if we know more first the other account before making a trade.
1400  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 02, 2020, 04:18:12 PM
Agree. I was basically doing the same thing for 2+ years now. It's not "hodling" per se but I would not much different. Most of my BTC all these time is in hodl account, while I also budget a very small amount for trading, just to get better at it. These two next years should be really exciting for Bitcoin, at least I hope so.

Just remember that unless you are planning on holding BTC permanently you still need to sooner or later find an exit point for yourself. Even if you are a long term holder there is no reason not to cash out a portion of your position at the height of the bubble and thus have the means to buy the dips continually.
That's also a concern I've been thinking for a while. I'm for sure gonna cash out some of my hodling when I feel comfortable with the price, far from current ATH obviously. And the rest, I don't think I'll ever cash that out unless something extra ordinary happen. I'll keep them in my portfolio for life.

That's why holding is still very risky right now because you don't know when to stop. Selling bitcoin is not certain until now, its price is very low compared to last last year 2017 that it reaches $10K USD. But in the end it suddenly dropped, if that happens I know it is still possible. The only problem is that we don't know when it will occur again. It is very hard to guess the season where bitcoin will become popular and its price will rice again.
