As Halloween is approaching and Roobet already have some contests running in connection with , maybe Hhampuz could ask Roober representatives if we should wear thematic signature and avatars for 1-2 weeks ? Smiley

I guess non gambling signature campaigns have Halloween signatures at this time so Roobet can be first. What do you think?

I guess there are plans already for that one,  Roobet alwas updates avatars and signature for the campaign when there are seasonal event, like summer and fall themed ones. I'm Expecting it to be updated soon maybe after for this week's roobet signature campaign.
That will be cool, Halloween themes always looks great, it will be nice if more avatars and signatures will update theirs.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Victim Bitcoin cash fraude. on: October 14, 2020, 12:06:39 AM
You're getting pretty close to what's happening here.
Newbie user, when referring to himself speaks in the plural as a "company" wants to get in contact with users who have been scammer or robbed.... why do you think?
To tell them ho experienced they are in recovering funds and they will recover your funds for just a small fee with a couple hundred /thousands of dollars, of course, payable upfront  Grin

I guess the OP is indicating the opposite. I don't really know his intentions but by judging his post, I guess he might have been on the same problem and were just looking for the users that might help him with his case. But yeah, somehow it was too shady to get "personal information" for an anonymous company or an unknown reason. Also, I guess the OP doesn't know that he might be the one to be scammed, or the validity of the information he might have through such emails aren't real. Even I can send him false information just because he also posts unsolidified inquiries. (but I wont ofc)
4  Economy / Services / Re: Casino Gambling Guest Post Available Good Websites on: October 11, 2020, 11:56:31 AM
Bad marketing of your business, try to be transparent, post everything you can post to attract advertisers, otherwise this will only be viewed as you are just spamming the thread, sorry.. please consider that you are still a newbie, nobody knows your portfolio or whatsoever.

Indeed. I see that there are a lot of newbies that keeps popping up stating that they've done this and that just to gain clients yet failed to provide any valid proofs nor evidences with their experiences. Even I myself I've been too long in this forum yet I still haven't posted any of services that I can do as users here needs portfolio so they can verify your legitimacy, yet newbies nowadays tends to simply tell they can do this regardless of the trust they still haven't even gained.

Thank you for pointing this out, we will try and implement ways to moderate this to keep the site as unbiased as possible!

Just a suggestion, if you were ot reply on various comments in this thread, better multi-quote it instead of making different replies just to simply thank a user. But it is too ironic that you want to implement reviews that aren't biased. How come that you don't feature those gambling platforms that really is popular here in forum? Are you even considering the volume of a gambling platform's audience in this forum and their announcement thread in your reviews or you just had a team that validates your own reviews and use your site to be an affiliate? Sadly, review websites are so common.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin SCAM on youtube right NOW! on: October 11, 2020, 11:21:14 AM
Beware of this Bitcoin shitscam which is going on the youtube right now!!!
There are 70000people watching I hope that NOONE sent his bitcoins to this f...... scam!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLvQgh1EMmA

Gladly this video is already deleted on youtube due to dozens of here that reported it. Apparently, Gemini's project is already hooked with a hacking event on a popular Filipino Youtuber named AkosiDogie, in which hackers used his youtube's popularity to promote the Gemini project. AFAIK he already retrieved it but still the hackers are nowhere to be found but one thing is for sure, Gemini project resides near or inside Philippines. I don't know why Gemini keeps doing this hideous thing. Hopefully, their scam would stop soon.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful during use escrow service from the forum. on: October 11, 2020, 11:00:22 AM
~~

Then maybe the best option is to not focus mainly on direct messages on telegram, but rather contacting them as well in the forum. Yes, escrow services and campaign managers where too busy making those greedy people make us of it as an advantage to contact those that in need of such services. Good thing that the users here in the forum is very much aware and close that most of us here recommends escrow services with the links to contact them to prevent misleading them to scammers. Soon, if this continues, this might make an issue if many would imitate famous escrow services in various forms and way possible.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance bot for new listed coins on: October 11, 2020, 10:40:05 AM
Hi everyone,
I'm new here. Im a young enthousiast of crypto and a programmer. I tried creating a bot that buys crypto's that are new listed on Binance, since these normally go up by about 20-80%. I've tried so many things but can not find software for this and programming myself has not worked.
Does anybody know any software that buy's the new listed coin very fast and sells when a certain % hits. Of course with an API key.
I am new here so don't know if im in the right topic, but thanks in advance!'
Have a good day all.

Just a suggestion, don't be baited with users in here that offers scripts that can do that. Better hire programmers. Even you yourself could make one as you've mentioned you're a programmer. AFAIK, you can use Python as it has dozens of libraries and with huge community to help you. I guess it would be easy if it would only be a script. But also, there are things to consider. Binance can list this token/newly accepted crypto, but the volume would still be a little Also, there are a lot of cryptos that were burned and dumped right now, so I guess this kind of businesses must be a trader's initiative.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "mining cartel" (centralization power) on: October 11, 2020, 10:20:15 AM
When Bitcoin becomes more adopted by countries and companies that use it as a store of value, is it possible for some "mining cartel" to have enough mining power to influence any kind of economic or political decision? I'm not talking about "control the network", but more in a form of economic conjuncture.

Then what would they do with the millions of Bitcoins they could possibly have? Pump its price? Would people even buy it if this would happen? Basically, they can have as much as Bitcoin they like. But it would just be an opportunity to alternate cryptocurrencies to skyrocket. Also, who the hell would buy and make a mining cartel that could cost more than they earn in months? Apparently, crypto mining is for the long term. Hence, regardless of how many BItcoins they might and could have, it still wouldn't affect the vast crypto-space in its economic status.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Crypto Casinos 2020 | CryptoVegas.xyz | Casino Reviews on: October 11, 2020, 10:00:29 AM
~

Honestly, this forum is a much better casino review platform than on your site. Not to be rude, but I'm just telling that review websites do only earn with affiliates and never reviews those gambling and even much popular platforms that doesn't have referral links. It's too sad that you've made an effort to make a platform that reviews other gambling platform yet apparently cannot review those that far on your own interest and choice. Did you get those reviews by the users here in the forum or reviews by your own team? LOL.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Review, Odds comparison, Provably Fair Verifiers, Bots on: October 11, 2020, 09:01:36 AM
~

No wonder why there are a lot of crypto review websites out there that doesn't get much attention and interest from this forum's users. This thread is even more reliable than that. I've been seeing a lot of threads out there that they say "they are the best review platform" yet ends up having no reviews on many popular and much trusted gambling platforms. BTCGOSU is I guess far the best review website compare to others. The others are just reviewing those platforms that they know they can earn with linked referrals. ROFL.

Good list but I do think that it will be better if you can separate it into some tables based on the category, as it can be very long list if you have added all the available services. Perhaps make it into something like:

Good suggestion, but I see that the OP indicated BTCGOSU 4 times and its just the same BTGOSU. Maybe dividing it in to categories in unnecessary. Especially if that platform already supports all of the categories in the OP.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My mistakes x Realization. on: October 11, 2020, 08:34:36 AM
I don't know what you will get after moderators join but honestly I did not know or read all forum rules when I began.
You can check out the Unofficial Forum Rules and Regulations. Here it is, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

Edited your reply, it is actually the official rules.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad that you get ideas and thread topics based on the articles you've read. But honestly, it wasn't a good practice, not to the forum's quality and community, but rather on your personal sake. This forum isn't a community of harsh and sensitive people that makes everything an issue. Yes, you might get hate with posting threads that originally wasn't yours. But keep in mind the reason why you're posting it. If you wanted to learn, better not post things just because of the sake of posting, but because for the sake of helping.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoWow presents the Most Amazing Bitcoin Casinos! on: October 11, 2020, 08:09:46 AM
Why does it is too normal and cliche that suddenly, review websites keeps popping up? This is just like those ICO reviews back then that requires payment just to be featured and be reviewed positively. You're just reviewing here those platform that has affiliate links, same as the goodluckmate.com 's feature. Do you have review in BItvest? Bitvest is a long term campaign in here and they've been successful and still being succesful for years passed. Why?? Review websites seems to be biased.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: The best way of public announcement on: October 11, 2020, 07:31:59 AM
I understand that we have many ways of making our products to be known across other countries without going from one country to another country, internet has already made thing's easier to humans.

This following are the major way or criteria for companies or newly established companies such as private and government sectors to create awareness of their products, materials in their countries and also cross other countries as stated above.

Keep in mind that it depends on what you are trying to do. There are projects that are much popular in this or that platform. Basically, you must target your audiences as well. If you want clients that are much onto crypto, then this forum is for you. If you want clients that are more onto social media, then use social media as well. If you want those practical people that still reads newspapers and watch television, then use it as well. Simple, everything that is worse way in making an announcement was doing it was other way around. Would you use bitcointalk to get clients when your project isn't related to crypto?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk or Cryptotalk? What is the best forum for a beginner? on: October 11, 2020, 02:15:20 AM
~

Cryptotalk is a rip-off community of this forum not really made to be a crypto-world community but to make yobit's (ew) trading platform popular. Have you ever known that yobit had a huge issue here in the forum as its platform stole so many money from bitcointalk users? (See Yobit's profile trust score here) Hence, they've only bought the cryptotalk domain for their trading platform's traffic and market. Imagine that they've been paying if and only if you use their paltform. Also, I've tried to join it back then when it started yet it was so shitty forum that even a single-word replies would be counted to the payment LOL.

Bitcoin talk - Post to learn
Crypto talk - post to earn.

There are some exceptions but same applies to both tbh

Nope, cryptotalk is pure earning forum, no merits nor quality whatsoever. Users in there can plagiarize without being seen and would still be paid. Bitcointalk community and campaigns requires high standards. Basically, BTCTalk users are campaign promoters, Cryptotalk users doesn't promote anything at all. Imagine them not being paid, they wouldn't be running in a month lol.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ransomware: How to avoid CYBORG ransomware. on: October 10, 2020, 07:15:55 AM
...
I don't want to argue with you, just think what you want to think, I just shared this information that I gathered from the sources given. I don't beg for merit, do you see any a "merit" word in my thread?
Quote
How ransomware can affect our devices?
It affects it in only one way: All data is encrypted and a ransom has to be paid to decrypt them.
It's my bad, it should be "infect" and not affect, sorry for the mistake, the word is already edited.

I agree with bob not by his judgement of this thread being a merit begging post, but to the fact that there are a lot of threads and articles out there that talks about ransomware in general and how to prevent it. This topic - the ransomware attacks / malware in general) keeps being opened in this Beginners and Help board yet in fact this must be in Off-topic section as this wasn't really that related nor connected to cryptocommunity Beginners nor crypto-help at all. But still, thumbs up for the effort!
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2FA app on desktop on: October 09, 2020, 02:34:05 PM
This is a question regarding security best practices:

When logging frequently onto exchanges that require 2FA for access, do you guys think it would be safe to use your go to 2FA app on desktop version rather than just using it always on a separate device e.g. mobile phone?

It seem like a bit of a convenience/security trade off to me. But I would like to have your opinion on the magnitude of possible security loss... Thank you!

2FA is just a security addition to those users that preferred a much secured accounts especially in their crypto-space. No matter on what device you would use 2FA apps, you would still be vulnerable if you kept visiting untrusted websites or downloading from anonymous torrent links. But with regards to security, it would depend on what device and operatign system you are using, some OS such as Android (Mobile) and Microsoft (PC) are less secured hence no matter on what device you've installed your two-factor authenticator, you would still be vulnerable.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grayscale buy btc and cryptocurrency huge ammount on: October 09, 2020, 11:50:39 AM
From who they buy from?
Coinbase kraken binance?

Who has so big ammount of cash now what grayscale gives?  The CEO-s and company Names?

This is already an issue even back then where they bought so huge amount but I don't see why this keeps being a new thread. Better see this thread[1] instead of making a new one, hence lock this thread as well. All of the questions you have are already on that thread so better check it out!
