521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can artists earn Bitcoins ? on: March 08, 2020, 03:24:04 AM
I'm an artist i specialize in Oil paintings and also at Digital painting ..

How can i earn Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as an artist ?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can simply let your customers use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as a mode of payment of your artworks. It is a common thing nowadays and I've seen a lot of users in here from different countries whom do the same thing. But there is a big problem in establishing such businesses as it usually requires a huge trust and reputation first before having a growing business with a trusted customers as well. The problem when starting that kind of business is that you either send the artwork first or he sends his money first.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 08, 2020, 02:51:50 AM
We all know that there is a virus outbreak named COVID-19 and it's spreading quickly throughout the entire globe. Though preventive and and can be somehow cured and be reduced by healing the specific symptoms one-by-one (based on Is there a cure for the new coronavirus? by Stephanie Pappas), there are still numerous cases in which would affect soon every single person on the planet.

Currently, there are 106,195 confirmed cases in which 42,405 cases that are active and almost 3,600 confirmed deaths around the world. COVID-19 can be passed in a lot of different ways, more likely to be through physical contact. And it is obvious that most gambling (especially physical casinos) were bombarded with strangers that aren't that assured if do have the disease or not, and has a high chance where many physical contact occurs (like passing of bank notes and bets).

Recently, there was an article titled South Korea burns, quarantines bank notes as Covid-19 rages in which its states that one of South Korea's preventive measures is they've seen that, it is a risk and a huge possible that bank notes can carry the virus and with the papers being passed through the economy is also an implicit transmitting of the virus.

But then think of it. Casino is a common and usual place where people do often make contact not only by oral communication but also with touching bank notes, casino coins, and even dices and other things used in betting. Therefore, there is a huge chance that COVID-19 would drastically decrease the physical gambling and do somehow can change gamblers' physical gambling onto digital one. And with that, it can somehow increase the community of overall cryptocurrency.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: March 08, 2020, 02:07:49 AM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?

Things you've mentioned are internal/personal reasons why one must/do stop their gambling life. But how about the external reasons?

External reasons often include:
  • Had been scammed.
  • Had a serious sickness/disease (in which is a huge possibility due to the COVID outbreak)
  • Low resources/affected by his/her country's decreasing economy
  • And lastly, addiction, in which most would require a further and long rehabilitation.

Those were just my list of what I think fits the matter.
524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What age would you recommend the forum to ? on: March 06, 2020, 09:18:34 PM
Cutting a long story short , I’ve been asked to do a short talk at my children’s school about Bitcoin. Their IT teacher is very progressive and gets the children involved in a lot of IT projects, like coding and cyber security and one of my kids mentioned Bitcoin and I’ve been asked to do a presentation.
It will be a 10-15 min very informal intro. into Bitcoin with the emphasis at the end to explore the Bitcoin world by themselves and I will recommend reading material and certain websites .
The age group will be 12-13 yr olds.
My query is whether to mention this forum?
Currently I’m thinking not to mention the forum , but if they find it , then so be it .
My thoughts are that the forum would be more suited to 16 + because of these factors
- scams
- trolling
- bad language
- gambling
I’m sure there are or have been many members under 16 and if possible I’d like a bit of feedback . TIA
This is placed in Beginners and Help , possibly Meta may have been better , but I really want some constructive replies please  Smiley

This forum is fit for adults only and members that have further experience in the cryptocurrency and digital world. Imagine having this forum being bombarded with immature people who are most likely to be close minded and war freak. Especially, teenagers nowadays often tend to have short patience and easily lose their tempt. Therefore, never mention the forum onto people that aren't that kind of interested and greedy. Let's make this forum a community of professionals, and never let kiddos aged 16 and below bombard us with their obvious and unnecessary questions.
525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are there Crypto projects Not on Bitcointalk forum on: March 06, 2020, 06:47:23 PM
There are over 7000 cryptocurrencies currently trading on different exchanges. most of these cryptos have public members that are known to many while some have hidden members behind the project which are red alert for investors.
Could there be any cryptocurrency currently exiting without having a post here on Bitcointalk. I know there are many that have not updated their thread due to scam.

Bitcointalk forum doesn't a necessity when making a cryptocurrency-related project as there are good companies that can market well and have investors without the help of any of online platforms as it would give a better possibility that their project would be legitimate with also real and trusted investors. Ripple was the best example as it doesn't even had any promotion in the forum. But with the current projects, no one knows unless those projects would somehow post on any of the social media websites or be a project helped by a huge companies or founded by famous personalities.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: March 04, 2020, 02:59:47 AM
Sometimes, as a trader or an investor. you wonder why you miss out on tokens that does 400-6000 % increase.

You will also wonder how it missed your grasp, but do you bother to check if it has volume ?
Do you bother to check if it has buyers ? Do you further find out, if it a true pump ?

Only centralized cryptocurrency exchanges and even centralized forex platforms can manipulate and fake a volume of a certain altcoin or token. There were also exchanges that has their own token thus a mere risk if someone will invest in it.

Most investors doesn't regret choices after each and every actions. Good traders often predict and be proactive instead of reactive.

Therefore, cheking buyers and true pumps doesn't matter, as long as you know well the exchange platform and the coin you are investing/trading.
527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading And Investor on: March 01, 2020, 11:56:58 AM

1. Crypto Investment
2. Crypto Trading- is it just all about buying tokens and sellings
3. What does it means for a token to be listed on an exchange.
4. What makes one a Perfect Investor
5. How can one determine a futuristic success of a project to invest in. And lastly
6. What are the precautions to be taken in relation to doing all of this.

Crypto investment. The phrase already defines it self. Here your investments are digital, you can start investing on crypto through buying any cryptocurrencies that you want. Most investors started on bitcoin.  Holding is investing.  Trade also does.  But there are also other forms of crypto tradings,  I am not just much familair on them. Trading is buying and selling,  the concept is that,  you will buy at cheap price then you will sell it on an expensive price. That's the rule to win.  But it is not easy as you think.
528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new, I need help and some advice !! on: March 01, 2020, 11:36:55 AM
This is my first post on this forum and I need help on how to earn from the forum,
What is the desired number that I publish daily, how do I receive my earnings, the portfolio I will use, and how do I link them to my account.

Hello,  welcome to the forum Smiley

The first thing that I will advise to you is you should learn how to read about the forum first.  Most specially read the general rules and other essential details about bitcointalk.  There are limit on posting daily since there is time interval between posts.  Do not spam just to boost your activity, make your contents to be relevant to the topic. If you could do this; create threads that you think will be useful for most of the forum members, make sure that the topics that you are creating is relevant to the section. There are set of rules for every sections,  it will be goos if you will read them.
You could receive your payments via your wallet addresses, but for now,  that will not be from bitcointalk, it will be from campaigns that you will be joining soon if you already acquired the position that are able to join campaigns. Portfolio is not required,  but if you do have,  it's better.
Goodluck!
529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A good advise for the beginners. on: March 01, 2020, 11:16:24 AM
For all the beginners out there, Do not mind the profit that you may have in this forum, there is a right time for that thing, all you need to consider first in this platform is how are you going to learn something about cryptocurrency. An eagerness to gain knowledge is better than the enthusiasm of earning money, yes I understand if you really need money right now, but, nothing improvements to you if you prioritize it than gaining knowledge.

If you have so much knowledge in the cryptocurrency, then for sure you may use it for you to become a better person in the virtual world, cryptocurrency is being prominent all over the world, and for sure it will be so popular soon, so it will be easy for you to follow the emerging cryptocurrency if you have full knowledge about it. Our earnings here will come soonest, just be patient, all things will be worth it.

Most of the beginners that happened to realize about the cryptocurrencies are always eager and greedy to earn money.  They think that they can get money without doing anything, which is definitely not true, because before you get any money, specifically on joining campaigns,  bounties,  airdrops,  etc.,  you still need to exert some effort.  You need to comply. And you will not get anything if you did nothing.  Do not think that you can get an easy money,  because there is no thing such as that,  it could be possible just because of luck or a mere coincidence. So do not be greedy. Let the calmness swallow yourself and thrive for knowledge.
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: March 01, 2020, 10:56:01 AM
All of us are afraid of losing money due to hacks, scams, our own mistakes or even bad decisions (buying useless shitcoins, selling coins too late or too early, etc). Most topics cover issues such as these. But when it comes to losses, you should be aware that there’s more than money which can be lost. By this, I’m talking about identity theft of personal data of any kind. Protecting this data and paying attention to privacy should have at least the same priority of protecting your money. After all, money is replaceable; it’s "only" a financial loss. Once identity is stolen, however, there is no chance of its undoing.]

Ever since that I started studying and doing stuffs that are related on cryptocurrencies,  I never been a fan of this Know Your Customer or KYC.  I always have doubts to give any sensitive information to the exchanges or wallets or any other cryptocurrency sites that requires its members to file a KYC form.  If is always better tk remain anonymous. That is why I prefer those that did not require KYCs. On top of that,  it's dangerous to give your personal identity specially if there are money and assets that are involved.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: March 01, 2020, 10:28:17 AM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
That could be possible unsuccessful if you chose buy cryptocurrencies that are not strong in the market.  Personally,  I always prefer to buy alternative coins like ethereum and ripple. Nowadays,  there are a lot of altcoins that are running in the market, some of them are good to start buying and selling,  but most are not.  If you buy those kind of coins,  the possibility that your trade to lose is high,  even you bought it on a cheap price,  you still cannot guarantee that you can sell that on a higher price that you prefer.
532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from this forum? on: March 01, 2020, 10:02:31 AM
This forum is really good for gaining knowledge while earning money, and that is very good, but first things first, I want to know how can I make from this forum, I have read some posts here about asking how to earn money here. Still, most of the comment says that they shouldn't mind first of making money before gaining knowledge, I don't understand them why they keep on saying that, and don't answer the question of the OP first. Do not be hypocrite. We are all here because we want to earn money, money is the reason why we keep on working hard in any aspects, I do not understand why they do not answer the topic about how to earn money here, which is very important to the beginners to know. I am still hoping that there is someone that will answer what I want to know.
Crypto forums allows us to collaborate to other people regarding cryptocurrencies.  Through that,  if we will just try to understand what these people are trying to say or to share into us,  we can acquire a very significant information that we can use or rely on if we are planning to pursue our journey on cryptocurrencies. Ofcourse,  most of us are here for money,  that's goal, to earn money. But,  sooner or later,  you will realize  that it is better to earn knowledge not just to make money.  Because the knowledge that you will acquire will be always recyclable and can be expanded while working with different campaigns here.  You could also use these information if you are planning to make investments on cryptocurrencies. If you are just working for money,  there is a big possibility that you might share some false information. Personally,  at first I am just working or posting for money,  but as time goes by, I've realized the essence of knowledges that I could get while working.

534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Effect of Bitcoin on New Tokens on: March 01, 2020, 06:57:43 AM
hello everyone

The development of a more advanced era, more and more new tokens popping up with various platforms such as Ethereum, EOS, Tron, NEO and others whose prices are not stable, with the emergence of new tokens does that affect Bitcoin? or vice versa Bitcoin which affects the price of new tokens?

Maybe here there are more knowledgeable about this so that it can make me and other newbie's learn bitcoin deeper.
Thank you  Wink

The main idea is that because Bitcoin was the highest and even the center of the cryptocurrency market as most cryptos and altcoins and even projects are circulating and using the bitcoin in most of their possible exchange. Therefore, their price in constant exchange affect from time to time depending on the market of both Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency and tokens.
535  Other / Meta / Re: 21 Million Proposal on: March 01, 2020, 04:46:13 AM
Proposal

What do you think?

Limiting the number of users is unnecessary as people do also constantly doubt and have eagerness to learn in each and every way possible. We cannot just simply limit users to 21million due to the fact that this is a forum not a campaign nor a social media that offers money in campaign you can join. But instead limit the posts to 21million but that would require a lot of work and deletion as there are so many offtopic and short posts.

Overall, limiting the capacity is also limiting the capability.
536  Other / Meta / Re: How can I increase my merit? on: March 01, 2020, 04:11:34 AM
I know that this is not the thing that I should mind first because I am still a beginner, I should prioritize first on gaining knowledge here, as what I commonly read in many other posts, but I think asking is also a form of learning, so I don't see bad things by asking some question like this, which is really need to know of the beginners, based on what I have read on some posts, merit is significant for us to increase our ranks, is this really true?

This forum is an excellent thing about gaining knowledge and earning money, so I want to have these two, so please can you help me with this question, Thank you in advance.

Just be useful and helpful. People often intend to misinterpret having merit and having a good post. Some posts were just funny and still meritable. Some do makes no sense but still meritted because some users found it to have some sense.

Therefore, never motivate yourself with earning merit. But instead be motivated helping other users!
537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Iam newbie here please help me on: February 29, 2020, 01:08:53 PM
I joined here by saw www.yobit.net/en/signture , how can i earn here and what is the signature campaign , will it end ? Or what please help me, where is signature and uid

Don't you dare promoting their signature nor their own-made crypto forum as the yobit had a rough past. They have scammed a lot of users here in their trading platform and continuously scamming others with their centralized exchange and altcoins.

And if you are just motivated by earning money and cryptocurrencies, remember that you'll start greedy and ends up losing everything because of your lust on money.

Ps. That forum was already bombarded eith shitposters and spammers. Therefore lesrning in it is too impossible.
538  Other / Meta / Re: Red tags still being used to silence whistle blowing?? blatantly now. on: February 29, 2020, 11:40:34 AM
Management and moderators do not give red tags on those who doesn't deserve one nor had disobeyed any of the forum's rules and regulations. If you ever had or a user had been red tagged, it simply means they had done actions that are obviously prohibited. If you ever wanted to say something that most of users, especially hgih ranked and trusted users, are opposing or you are being too subjective, expect red trusts too.

Earning trusts is difficult. And losing it is easy.
539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't auto Save your login details on: February 27, 2020, 09:42:50 PM
- In order for "show password feature" to fully function in the Chrome browser, you have to know the "windows password" first before you can unhide it...
- Judging by your comment, I guess Brave browser allows its user to access passwords without layer protection, am I right [or you just don't use any passwords on your computer]?

I do have a pin as a security measure in my Windows 10 Laptop and I don't found any additional security measures / protection layer in accessing unhide autofilled passwords, as the browser always prompt users if a password that was inserted in a text field would be save for future password filling.

I've also tried it with Chrome (Brave is just an enhanced version of chrome FYI) but it worked the same. Do you have any proof with your argument?
540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't auto Save your login details on: February 26, 2020, 11:28:12 PM
Today, we will see how you can hack any password, but only those who will have saved the password while logging in.
~

It is not hacking any password if it doesn't involved any password cracking or brute forcing. Saved passwords is already "Saved" then using such html tags isn't necessary. Also, browsers do already have the feature that shows you all saved passwords in it.

You could see it in Settings > Additional Settings > Auto-fill > Passwords > then click on the unhide icon beside the password saved. (I use Brave browser and this is the process of showing saved passwords)
