4321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: July 14, 2018, 11:06:42 AM
everyone recommends this coin too but I do not like it. It could not give you the wish during the bull season. but there is still support. I think you should look at other coins.

I made the profit last year when it hit $15 it's highest market price I bought a lot of it when it was trading at $2 level and I'm sure there will be a repeat this year, that is the reason I'm still holding my waves, there is a profit to be made here.
4322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: July 11, 2018, 09:25:23 PM
It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites.
I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.
I agree it is so much hard to discover a very good and profitable Ico now, you promote them for a long time then you ended up with nothing there should be regulation here so people will not get scammed again and these airdrops are just a waste of time for everybody.
4323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO NOW!] 💠 FORTY SEVEN BANK 💠 – Connecting Financial Worlds on: July 11, 2018, 09:22:08 PM

Price was down (FSBT)$0.451206 USD (-24.71%) just when the team is working so hard to get the project spreads and get listed on many exchanges, why the drop of trust by investors, when this is a good project, after all, I guess they need to do a lot of marketing online.
4324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: July 06, 2018, 05:39:09 AM
this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Hope this helps to the new investors thinking of ICOs

Well if that is in the case then there so be no Ico at all and people will just wait for the coin to hit the market, but if the project is going to be great they are going to need funding for it, and if they cannot generate funds for that then the project will go on, but I like that idea that they first put the coin in the market first before getting their funds.
4325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: July 04, 2018, 10:43:16 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.
Not all of them are selling all of their tokens coming from bounty, I believe they sell just a portion of it and keep it for future profit, but with so many bounty hunters, the sell order is very huge this is the reason why the coin's price dip because of bounty hunters sell order.
4326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: July 04, 2018, 10:22:09 PM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

Unfortunately, this is not the case in some of the coins, some coins have gone worthless and shitcoin over the course of time, it's the battle of the fittest among these coins, the one with good platform and marketing always stay for good.
4327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: July 04, 2018, 09:48:51 PM
My friend in Canada told me that bitcoin payment has been used in KFC. What does that mean?

Do we have a link on this in an article your friend might be just joking we all need a proof that it is really being done, this is a good news and the only way that we can add credibility on this kind of news is a link from a trusted source.
4328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: July 02, 2018, 10:25:09 AM
Is there any evidence that these mysterious 'whales' really control the bitcoin market, or is this a myth generated as people try to understand why bitcoin prices go up and down?

There's no hard evidence but logic will tell us it's possible, as you can see they are the one who is going to benefit if they can control the market because they have the volume but I understand they buy in a dip and sell in a surge this is how they make profit and they easily sell it in profit at a much lower profit.
4329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Big financial institutions" are interested in the cryptocurrency market on: July 02, 2018, 06:12:00 AM
Financial institutions called "Big financial institutions" are interested in joining the electronic money market. They are aggressively investing and hiring talented people to set up Bitcoin trading capabilities, estimated at $ 130 trillion, waiting for this market, while the market is just $ 300 billion in value. Major investors are still bitcoin need to overcome their weaknesses such as:
+ Need to fix technical issues such as scalability
+ Need a reputable and secure financial institution to hold their large number of assets. (Good news is Consortium Komainu depository service has been launched and has reduced concerns for investors. private)
+ Legal regulations are not yet clear (30/7) G20 tough and tough statements will be crucial to this market, there will be legal frameworks needed to ensure benefits for investors when entering the market)
+ The trading floors are not really safe and fragmented, the liquidity is poor and the infrastructure is lacking as the volume of transactions that large investors pour into the market is much larger than the current market. (Coinbase, Binance and Huobi have worked very hard over the past few months and upgraded their system better)

What do you think about this?

We need concrete proof or a trusted article that can prove that this is indeed real, this is big news and will definitely help the cryptocurrency to reach new heights. it's a welcome news to all of us a big breather from the long bear trend.
4330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum as a store of value coin. on: July 02, 2018, 05:57:56 AM
If Ethereum is a utility platform and the value of its coin rises, how can it continue to be used as a utility when its used as a store of value?
Most people that buy Ethereum aren't using it, they're trading.
I think you should widen your scope on ethereum, trading and using are the same thing as long as you trade if you are using it's fee it's private key and anything associated with it, there are already companies using Ethereum don't know where you get that idea.
4331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: June 29, 2018, 11:06:12 PM
I agree ethereum is the next big Crypto but we never know some platform is getting better, I am watching  Credit, and they are building up good and really fast, they are going to be a big contender in the next few months and could threaten Ethereum when it comes to smart contract.
4332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to find out about good airdrop? on: June 25, 2018, 12:33:46 PM
there are so many scams how to find out about good airdrop ?

If I were you, I stopped doing airdrop and just do a bounty I figure that 9 out of 10 airdrops are scam and worthless, this is based on my experienced out of 20 I participated 2 are legit but the airdrop is not enough to have a decent meal for two days.
4333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: June 25, 2018, 12:12:29 PM
So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

You are the kind of investor that is coming in without thinking what he is investing that it could wipe out all your investment aty anytime and you must invest what you can afford to lose, only thinking about the profit, its better to sell all what you have to get out of this depressing sitution.
4334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1000 decentralized ETH applications in 1 year on: June 24, 2018, 12:22:49 PM
Great news for Etherum. So many Dapps deployed on Etherum will certainly help Eth to grow more. Lets hope for the best for this coin.

This is one of the reasons why Ethereum is on the top spot and continue to challenge Bitcoin's supremacy, the cost to create a token has been minimized because of Ethereum smart contract features
4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many altcoins on: June 21, 2018, 12:05:38 PM
With the wide array of altcoins available in the crypto market, how do you choose which one to invest on, which one to buy and which of these altcoins worth holding?

I have the same dilemma but I based it on the kind of personality that are involved on that coin, they must be reputable people in their industry, of course platform is another thing a coin must not be a pump and dump coin, because it will eventually die.
4336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do I find the next big thing like Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2018, 11:53:07 AM
Hello guys can we please share some  strategy on how to dictect some big trending coin early just like discovering bitcoin in 2014!!!

You have to find it yourself by doing your research I have been scammed by other coins from other's recommendation, from then on I just do my own research, so you have no one to blame but you in case something goes wrong and you can always modify or set up new criteria and guidelines.
4337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin difficult to understand? on: June 21, 2018, 11:17:03 AM
If you look at it as Currency, it is difficult for an average person to understand it because it is different.
Bitcoin, being a different kind of a digital currency, it breaks down conventional thinking in many aspects. No central regulatory body. The concept of mining. The open-ledger (blockchain), the way miners are rewarded, how transporting value is determined by its packet size and not value, the hash rate, the concept of limited supply. The 100 Million pennies in a Bitcoin, etc.
Its difficult enough for people in the money space to thoroughly understand Bitcoin (we all say we understand it, but do we really?).
For a common person, its an overkill. Its like trying to explain the concept of TCP/IP, Networking, Routing, the Internet for someone who wants to use email.  Overkill.

It's not the technology's fault people are not spending the time to acquire the necessary knowledge to learn how bitcoin works, there's a lot of articles written about Bitcoin there are countless videos about Bitcoin and blockchain, it's the people who just want to make money, not given enough to appreciate the technology.
4338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: June 17, 2018, 01:04:55 PM
Could anyone advice when stability and scalability tests will be released to public?
Yesterday testers got 7th technical update of pre-release version. Btw, did you see review article from one of CREDITS private testers?
https://medium.com/@astralcrypto/credits-testnet-test-results-first-update-5aa575c43fef
Thanks for the link ) Waiting for the main net launch!
The only thing we are all waiting is the platform to launch before it takes off, everything here is going great, this is a great coin in the making, they are making headlines and partnering to the right people, agency, and companies, I can't wait for this coin to reach its height.
4339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300 on: June 17, 2018, 12:52:29 PM
ETH is falling very strong compared to its $ 12xx early this year, will you buy it now?

Why not, In fact I'm buying and trading my other nonperforming altcoin to ethereum, I still have a strong belief that ethereum will reach $3000 we just all have to be patient, at this point of time, patience is the name of the game right even if people are giving up on ehtereum.
4340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a future for Waves Platform on: June 17, 2018, 12:41:03 PM
Increasingly, I began to notice tokens made on the Waves platform. What do you think about this project? How much will it become popular in the future? Maybe you have already successfully invested in tokens from this platform?

I only have Waves and no other token created on their platform, but I do have a strong believe that Waves will eventually become profitable and most used token creation in the market, I know they are testing it, based on their continuous updates to all their supporters.
