4261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: September 07, 2018, 12:21:32 PM
I do not own a Ripple right now although I read how profitable is this coin, I prefer holding Bitcoin being a cryptocurrency supporter I read a lot of negative things about Ripple of it not being decentralized and people has a control of it, so it's Bitcoin or other altcoin but not Ripple.
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you surprised at the price of ETH? on: September 07, 2018, 12:19:12 PM
If I have more funds I'll definitely buy more since this is a good opportunity for a quick profit, hopefully, it will not go down the $200 level anymore, people are searching for a good answer why the price is this low, can another coin eventually take over the spot of Ethereum now that they are going down
4263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 07, 2018, 12:08:08 PM
People go here and there spooling, spreading and propagating FUD to get on peoples emotions and to put them on PANIC MODE just so they sell their BTC, and you know what, PANIC SELLERS in these industry are LAZY, they can't and won't research and understand after lots of rise and fall in these year that the KING of all digital currencies is just going through a phase.

I personally Love PANIC SELLERS, and I hope there can be a section on these platform where they register so that people like me can contact them to buy CHEAP from they..

GRACIAS PANIC SELLERS, MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE BLESSING FUTURE MILLIONAIRES WITH YOUR COIN

I don't think these panic sellers will introduce themselves as a panic seller, only a few people will admit that they are doing a panic selling and ignorant on the fact that the market will always correct themselves and eventually change from bearish period to bull period this is a fact and it happens every year.
4264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: September 06, 2018, 10:25:47 AM
In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. Dont wait till the market price is 95%+ before you sell. That only happens when you got your eyes glues to your machine 24/7. Dont be greedy... Make a little profit and grow it over time. Cryptomarket is growing and full of terror! Be careful

You said it right, you should set a time or price when you are going to sell, people are losing because they are too late to sell their coins. like one expert say you should moderate your greed to make a profit, control is the essence of trading.
4265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens? on: September 06, 2018, 10:17:27 AM
There are still a lot of good projects or working platform on ERC20 token, so it's not the algorithm of the coin but the team behind the project, some of the failures can be attributed from the fact that they are building a project that has no value for the community hence the failure of their token in the market.
4266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that Beginners need Technical analysis? on: September 06, 2018, 10:11:38 AM
As new to Crypto, I can say that Technical Analysis is important for not only for investors but also for bigginers becausei it can guide us in analyzing the movement of  the prices of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoincash and other cryptocurrency based on an examination of past price movements.  It uses patterns in market data to identify trends and make predictions which will tell when to invest.

I agree even newbies or beginners must have an understanding on how cryptocurrency works and a technical analysis to be able to pinpoint the best coin to invest and what coins are going to make our profit in a long-term knowledge is power is very important in Cryptocurrency.
4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: myetherwallet hacks? WTF!!! on: September 03, 2018, 03:51:09 AM
It has been said several times in this forum that myetherwallet is no longer safe to check your tokens, otherwise you might get hacked.

If you want only to see what is the current content of your wallet, I find ethplorer.io the best option. I used myetherwallet only twice in my life...

I also stopped using myetherwallet and instead download and use the desktop version of Mycrypto and on top of this I use metacert to check if the site I'm visiting is a phishing site, the scammers are now good they have perfected a good way to scam people and many people are falling to it.
4268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is the fastest? on: September 03, 2018, 03:21:39 AM
I tested both Ethereum and Waves and they are both fast, but I consider Ethereum so far as the fastest sometimes it took only 10 to 20 seconds to confirm my transactions, how I wish Bitcoin will be as fast as this two, credits claims they are the fastest but we'll once their platform launch.
4269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: September 02, 2018, 02:16:20 AM
KYC are done to prevent members of some countries from participating in ICO because it is illegal over there. Does your country permit you to participate in ICO?

There is no restriction in my country to participate in any ICO but they have warnings and advisory on investing in ICO because we all know scam Ico is very high risk investment, I think it's hard for them to know if you are investing in ICO, not unlike those residing in United States
4270  Other / Meta / Do you have problems with login on Bitcointalk with the captcha on: September 02, 2018, 02:13:32 AM

4271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of cryptocurrency? on: August 31, 2018, 10:21:17 AM
Hello guys, is this the end of cryptocurrency i asked my self cause of the subsequently dropping of coins price in the market a lot of red than the green, what may be the cause of all this dropping of price in the market, is it that all coins are connected to one and other that if 1 drops it affects many i just need answers to this my curiosity question. Thanks in advance.

Are you losing your investment that is why you are posting this kind of question, it seems you are not updated on what's really happening in the crypto world read a lot of articles especially the coming Sec action on Bitcoin application comes September 30 this is a good way to update yourself on what is coming.
4272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: August 31, 2018, 09:43:30 AM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?
If the bounty manager is part of the team then he is partly to blame, but if he is an independent or third-party manager there's a chance that he did not know that the project is a scam, after all, we never know, maybe he already knows but because he wants to be paid in full he still go ahead.
4273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 29, 2018, 03:40:12 PM
These are ignorant and uneducated people, big name in the trading and computer technology are now into Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, if there is a fraud and a ponzi scheme, these people and companies will lose their reputation for supporting Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
4274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America Files for Cryptocurrency Storage Patent on: August 28, 2018, 09:56:47 PM
The patent indicates its application function as recording and storing digital transactions–mainly for enterprises and large-scale businesses. It also details a data security mechanism for blockchain networks by linking encrypted data units for a specific blockchain.

https://cryptoslate.com/bank-of-america-files-for-cryptocurrency-storage-patent/

This is a good start and Bank Of America is such a huge bank and many small banks will follow it's lead, I wonder why is this not a good news in the big crypto currency online magazine, it should be and when this will be implemented, we might not know some bank or big companies are also planning secretly.
4275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: August 28, 2018, 09:48:38 PM
Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

It's fast to confirm and the fee is very low, I don't know what would the ICO industry if there is no Ethereum smart contract, almost 90% of ICO or token that is existing are from Ethereum created token, and many platform are imitating Ethereum success, it makes the cryptocurrency excited.
4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: August 28, 2018, 09:38:54 PM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

Discuss Smiley

We can only hodl coins that will likely make a profit for us in a long term, we hodling coins because of the past history that those hodlers of good coins makes a thousand times profit, like what happen to Bitcoin and ethereum hodlers who made thousands times profit from hodling their coins.
4277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP THIS DESPERATION FOR FREE TOKENS!!! on: August 27, 2018, 12:32:12 PM
I agree but still many people are still biting it, as if they are so desperate to get the token, in the end they end up being used by the admin so he can dump and promote his token, it's easy to create a token make it popular then make money from being dump in the market.
4278  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: August 27, 2018, 12:18:58 PM
During last time do a lot of bounties and get some different price. its near 17 numbers and all price according to the market no more then 350 USD for all... What you should recommend to do with this coins?

If there are no updates anymore I recommend that you sell the coins right away there is no use holding it, it will just go to 1 sat and you are going to regret, but if you see that there are a lot of updates, then hold it until they fully develop the platform, and realized their roadmap.
4279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 27, 2018, 11:47:29 AM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.

People consider Bitcoin as a store of value, that is the reason that they continue to hold it in the hope that the price will triple from the price they've bought, each one of us have different views on our Bitcoin, but as long as we believe in it and believe in the technology behind it, I don't see any conflict among us
4280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 26, 2018, 02:10:15 PM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

Knowing cryptocurrency's volatility I doubt if they will offer this to all their clients, some people loan on their banks to invest on cryptocurrency and now they are losing on both, on the bank's interest and the value of the coins they are holding, so I doubt if they will ever implement this.
