I got my check yesterday, a whopping $15 usd, not even worth to cash out since that costs at least double that.

How many lost coins was the $15 supposed to compensate for?

Thats the problem with the bankruptcy

How many want the crypto back, not the cash?

They sellin your crypto for cash, why?

Would you rather an opportunity to walk by and get $50 of a cryptsy employee or associate?

I'd like to pay a visit to this thread from time to time, especially during this hard time.
It reminds me of the good old days when I first learnt about crytocurrency.

I visit each new post, luv the history.

787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: March 29, 2018, 12:25:16 PM
I believe that war against bitcoin wouldn't be happen because banks can treat bitcoin as its friend just look for the good side or benefits that they can get in crypto.
Do not think that bitcoin can totally replace the traditional money because it is very impossible to happen.

Banks will replace traditional money

We are going to 6k fast.

This is not a re-test. 10k was already re-tested multiple times and we should be above it already.

This talk about TA is useless now. We are going to 6k because the market is in full manipulation mode.

Kobayashi didnt dump all Mt.Gox coins. This situation will last for months, if not the entire year.

You can draw as many lines as you like, but manipulation is manipulation. And theres nothing we can do about it.

The other manipulation theory is;

JPmorgan or CEO bought in around $6000

Went up to about 19666 (Indicator for some whale) Then returned to where big investor bought in - around $6000

Here is the interesting part, The volume on feb 6 from $5920 to $8000 - MASSIVE, biggest ever

Big investor bought back in

Seems like $6000 is the bottom and what we seeing is the manipulator/s using full correction sell profit back to top of buy in area about $8000

End of dump return to trend line

$8000 still not falling, broken but not falling.

correction holding steady, maybe a w pattern forming on weekly chart

macd weekly about to trend up

fundamentally bitcoin fear exasperated, fud is boring and repetitive, not just for bitcoiners but mainstream public (heh they do tire easy of fads and fear)

speculative bullish trend coming out of a bear trap (that is not gay) looking for a huge spike in the next week or 2 with big green dildo's, flying rockets and plenty of moon

I know an investment adviser with 500 clients.  I am the only person he knows that holds crypto.

I asked my investment advisor in 2011 if I should invest in Bitcoin. He just laughed (after I explained what it was). He was like...."you Ron Paul guys...".

My Auditor for my government regulated investment fund advised me 3 years ago and every year since to invest in other options besides crypto.

I just keep laughing

He has suggested the fund runs at a high risk and should be under further review, yet I have x10 on my initial investment

Yup.  I managed to take out about 4x my initial investment and still end up with the same number of coins due to selling into this crash and rebuying.  Next time around I will focus on increasing my stack.

thats all it is, play the smart money, gettin better and better

I am at the diversification stage, have enough profit to start lookin at generic stuff, stocks, etc, just does not sound as exciting. As well waiting for a big dip ? hmm

I agree. Things happen much slower now. We went on a bull run in slow motion and now we are correcting in slow motion. We could still be doing a correction that April '13 did in a matters of days - now its taking months.

Those of us that have been around a long time - I think most will agree the sentiment at the top of this bull run was more bullish than April
13 but less bullish than Nov. 13. I figure this correction will split the difference between the two.

i also have the feeling that the chart movements are slowing down so much, that it is hard to grasp it. funny though that there are people who think movements are speeding up.

Yeah sentiment seems accurate (very bullish), their is an adoption phase going on and old bitcoiners have been waiting and know this and are excited (true value of btc?)

Technical indicators point to HUGE! bear trap, $8000 USD has bounced around now for 8 weeks (great swings)

W pattern forming weekly chart??? bullish

MACD weekly pattern declining

fundamentals - media assisting and providing support on bitcoin use and of course attacks from banks and regulatory authorities ramping up

ah heck lets call it..

Its a trap

Bitcoin is unfolding like the dotcom crash — just 15 times faster

Edit: Amazon crashed from a high of over $100, to a low of about $10 in 2000. 18 years later, they hit $1,578. If we apply the same recovery gain percentage to the recent bitcoin low of ~$6,000, and assume 15x recovery speed, we'd hit ~$946,000 in Apr. 2019. This is all based on questionable math and a clickbait article, but still fun to think about.

let it come i am ready Wink

bitcoin has died 269 times

797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: March 19, 2018, 08:49:09 PM
Bitcoin started the war.

At the moment the banks defenses are holding strong but the wave of new troops is causing fractures.

The very reason bitcoin was invented was to attack the central controlled banks

Central banks are;

1) Privately owned and run
2) Known to implement governments after wars, coups, removal of monarchies, invasion, supporting rebellion
3) Known to use governments to allow them to print money freely
4) Known to increase inflation that always benefits profits over any citizen's wealth
5) A criminal cabal using global corporations, governments (debt owners) to further criminal trade
6) Known to cause the 2008 GFC - the last straw that caused Bitcoin to be invented in 2009

Update on the war

A new battle has been undertaken with the kobayashi (maru) entering the war

With over 160000 BTC troops kobayashi either allied with the banks or on his own have attacked the bitcoin defenses breaking the wall and causing a retreat

the 8000 BTC USD WALL is holding strong with reinforcements entering the fray. But still there is plenty of red.

The banks are using the offensive to promote their centralized troops (coins and tokens) with minor advances into decentralized zones (altcoins)

Reinforcements are on the way with various affrays into the media zones with outstanding success in public awareness of allying with bitcoin

kobayashi has more weapons of mass destruction but with resolve and support for decentralization many new bitcoiners have a chance for cheap entry into a successful war

lock your orders and load your troops

BREAKING NEWS!

A new front in the war has opened with the banks openly attacking bitcoin.

The central banks themselves have announced to the world the banks are terrified bitcoin will destroy their last defenses. This exposes the truth of the banks control over our fiat currency and the pyramid scheme it is built on.

Using our own government policy and law (not citizen choices), banks are undertaking a full frontal attack on the crypto currencies.

Anyone has received fund from claim? i did a claim in the deadline but i never received any notification...

My was in spam folder of google mail. So it may be deleted already if you did not check that folder in your mail account...
Anyway, for 1 btc value estimate you will get about 120$.

Are you sure are $120? I received $50 for each btc

I received a cheque for a similar sum. Perhaps only part of your claim was accepted?  not sure..

I am waiting for the opportunity to take the money directly from cryptsy owners and ex employees.

Opportunities always arise.

Planning a TWIP to China?

No, just livin large.

Not wasting time on this shit, dont need to.

unless its convenient.

I do not think that this will happen. We need banks for the economy. Say, bitcoin became such a huge bank that we had to close it. How will you cope with the fraud? How would you take credit? This is impossible without a bank, and bitcoin can not solve such problems.

Their never use to be banks.

For 10's of thousands of years we lived without banks.

There are always alternatives

like bitcoin
