201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency market is crashing on: February 05, 2018, 02:28:19 PM
Is it good or bad, who knows.

In last 24 hours whole cryptocurrency market is crashed and lost 30% of its values ( including bitcoin and other altcoins).

So it can be a good time to get in or maybe its time from when bitcoin starts to fall.

What are your views on recent crash ? share your advise and reasons.

I do see this as a normal occurrence yearly in cryptocurrency markets and even in regular business and market charts. There are always down season and peak season and its not healthy for a market to continue on spiking in value, cryptocurrency trading and investing is usually a test of faith and patience.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties aren't dead on: February 05, 2018, 02:21:47 PM
Came across a really good bounty with IoT Chain. For a second I thought bounties were stopping due to regulation.

Find the bounty here: https://medium.com/@IoT_Chain/iot-chains-dag-code-is-now-available-on-github-we-are-giving-away-10-000-itc-to-celebrate-1b2d437fb0d3

I think this the new regulation regarding to bounty campaign and rank system will benefit both the bounty hunters and the bounty campaign itself since the number of participants will somewhat decrease but the quality will increase thus the forum will become more informative attracting more readers which makes their signatures more efficient and the stakes to be received by each participants will increase as well since there will be fewer spammers around.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to stop ICO scam is on: February 04, 2018, 09:05:22 AM
As if you can control the people behind of the ICO to scam others or be honest. There are no easy way to stop ICO scam, only by research thoroughly you will lessen the chance of investing to a scam ICO.
I've read a nice guideline on how to avoid being scam by ICO check this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822896.0

To know how to identify the usual characteristics of an ICO scam and spread the knowledge about it. Stopping people who wants to take advantage and do illegal activities would be next to impossible and the best way to fight them is to reduce their possible victims.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going down this few weeks? on: February 04, 2018, 03:24:06 AM
I found this recently that bitcoin is going down rapidly,
what would be the cause of this going down of BTC and how it would affect the crypto world.

I think its seasonal they said most of the month of January to February are usually the red market season and its quite normal a normal occurrence in the trading market specially in cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless I know this is not long term and would eventually increase again in no time.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] CREDITS - OFFICIAL BOUNTY THREAD [ICO Start - 1 Feb 2017] up to 2400ETH on: January 29, 2018, 05:41:27 AM
Good day manager, my rank changed last week and I would like to update it from member to full member.

My number on the signature campaign spreadsheet is #138 and  I already changed my signature code and uploaded the avatar.

Thank you in advance and more power to this project!

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: January 29, 2018, 04:32:52 AM
Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

I do, but what I am really concerned about is that if these hackers managed to exploit a weakness in the cryptocurrency system then it would greatly affect the market though I believe it to be next to impossible feat there are still chances. But as of the moment I am being careful on protecting my self and my account details to possible new form of phishing sites like some fake airdrop links and viruses.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: you have profit in all airdrop? on: January 29, 2018, 03:49:26 AM
the airdrop for me its super profitable to gained money, even its all free but you need also to support them, what i mean is if you buy some token or coin for better,. i know they dont yet if they success the project i just suggest its get to support them, even its small money you spend in that project but soon your spend money to his project your profit make 3x income.

I receive the tokens and surprisingly it was only a few days or a week after I participated and I already received it though upon checking in its value on various trading platform it is almost next none and not profitable to trade so I guess I would have to hold it until then. Airdrops maybe profitable but it would take a huge amount of time for it to have any value in the market.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I know a bounty program is good? on: January 29, 2018, 03:46:24 AM
I see a lot of bounty programs on the BCT, but I do not know which bounty program is good, there are many fraud programs. Can you  give me advice ?

Check their idea as a cryptocurrency user the you should have a glimpse of whether it would make a hit or not regarding their targets plus you can see it depending on the bounty campaign token value. I also check the rank of the campaign manager since the better their credibility is the higher chance they will choose a quality bounty campaign to manage.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: January 29, 2018, 02:12:12 AM
Why you haven't add facebook to the list ? You think is not worth as social media to spread bitcoin info ?

I think because facebook is infested with a lot of annoying advertisement and scam plus not to mention people who will not take it seriously since its a platform that is usually used not for information and news unlike twitter which is dedicated to pass specific statements which easily caught attention of possible investors.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where will your Cryptocurrencies go once you Die??? on: January 29, 2018, 01:31:18 AM
I think it depends on where did you put your cryptocurrencies, its is a very important matter specially if you are on a long terms investment since you will never know what might happen to you and it would be such a waste to lose these investments. I guess we all need to make precautionary measures and beneficiaries to have access to our investments like in a last will and testament form.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You looking for in ICO? on: January 22, 2018, 11:17:00 AM
Honestly what I look first in an ICO was first its success rate for me and how will I able to profit by investing to it. Then the next question that comes into my mind was its credibility as an ICO and the team behind it, how it address its users and how its platform works. There are plenty of ICOs lately but sadly some of them are just being used to scam other people so I think we really have to be vigilant in choosing an ICO.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 22, 2018, 11:03:57 AM
eth is good now ..

True and its a very good news for me and for those who believe and invest to ethereum last year. I have seen how it grows from $500 and I would have loved to turn back time and invest to it much earlier but then again I expected it to even grow more this year since its market hype is increasing steadily.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying my coffee with cryptos! on: January 22, 2018, 03:32:01 AM
Letīs say I want to open a coffee shop where you can buy your coffee ONLY with cryptos.

Which coin would you use for this case?  I would choose XRB, because it is very fast and there are no fees!

Please tell me your suggestions.

True, I think this is good choice of altcoins specially now that bitcoin and also ethereum is not very advisable as a mode of payment. These top cryptocurrencies have very high fees specially eth and btc and not to mention the tax from buying basic commodities in your coffee shop it would not be very advisable to use btc as a mode of payment though it is more famous.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: January 22, 2018, 03:27:29 AM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue

I choose to hold both because both will tend to grow and is expected to do so in a few months and I wouldn't want to miss such opportunities specially now that it has very low price. It is like a second chance for us investors to buy and hold some bitcoin or to just increase our recent holdings.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum? on: January 22, 2018, 01:28:03 AM
If Ethereum's supply is infinite, why does it enjoy a $112 billion+ market cap?

Because it is stable and has much more value compared to other altcoins. Being on the top 2 altcoins in the coinmarketcap helps a lot also in inceasing its trust rating and credibility thus increasing the number of investors. I also find ethereum to be widely accepted through different websites and exchange platform as a mode of payment since it has much lower price compared to bitcoin and not that low compared to other altcoins.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 15, 2018, 03:25:11 AM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?

Virtually myetherwallet or to be precise your wallent security details is almost next to impossible to brute force hack since it is made that way and the only way for hackers to access your account is through phishing sites or having to manually get your details by any chance.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 15, 2018, 03:21:22 AM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

Yes, I think they have the same risk as trading, they all have potential scammers but with a little effort in searching their credibility before joining them then finding a safe and successful ICOs would be much easier.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: January 15, 2018, 01:58:31 AM
What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

I do check this website from time to time https://blockonomi.com/cryptocurrency-news/ and I think they are very informative and I am very satisfied for their contents and they update regularly. But there are quite a lot of news sites for cryptocurrencies and sometimes I just search directly in google to pin point exact information I wanted to see.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Etherdelta congested? Does it work for you? on: January 15, 2018, 01:47:23 AM
I have been trying for the whole day to access EtherDelta, and the page never loads entirely for me, no matter which browser I am using. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Does anyone have an explanation? I have noticed that ETH gas is skyrocketing - is there a relation with that?

I do believe it has becoming quite congested since it is rather slow compared to coinsexchange but it still works for me and I still preferred it as a trading platform since it has more volume compared to other trading platforms. Try accessing it in off peak hours or maybe when theres less traffic from your internet connection.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should hold or sell Tron TRX? on: January 15, 2018, 01:43:06 AM
Day by day it's value is dropping, should I get rid of them or hold them for long term? Is there any bright future as I don't see any purpose this coin is going to serve!!!

Don't cut loss immediately specially if you don't need your money from it. If you can bear to cut your loss from your investment then I think it would be much better to just hold it, some coins tend to take time in order to grow value and holding is proven to be a very good choice among other investors since a lot of them learned they lesson from panic selling.
