261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: November 15, 2017, 01:32:46 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

I do think bitcoin would survive maybe even a hundred year more but it will still depend on whether it will adapt another network system when internet changes or how the society would adjust to it but at long as there is a platform where its coins can circulate then I think it would be considered immortal.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: November 15, 2017, 01:30:07 AM
I think it's normal that Bitcoin will rise and fall but when it rise I'm sure it will surpass the previous highest value.

I totally agree with this, we have all witnessed how bitcoin manage to survive up to this day and its normal for it to rise and fall but I will still hold because I believe in its potential and it will increase for sure before 2017 ends.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 14, 2017, 05:06:06 PM
It gives you platform to make money and improve your financial condition and it also provides you opportunities for investment. I thinks  these two are the major benefits of bitcoin for their users.

Not just providing platform but giving a lot of opportunities to earn bitcoins and other altcoins. Bitcoin's rise have launch a boost interms of numbers of investors to cryptocurrencies which gives us enthusiast and part timers alike opportunities to few and to some a great number of extra bucks. Bitcoins security is one of its major advantages that made it survive up to this day, its credibility allows people to trust this new currency which results to its very successful market.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 14, 2017, 04:47:12 PM
The only thing that scares me with my bitcoins is when it becomes impossible to cash out meanwhile nobody (merchants) accepts bitcoin as payment. But I doubt it would happen because the silk road will always be there to accept bitcoins.

Mine would be the threat of hackers and malwares, even though we are aware of the threat and take safety precautions there are still chance all though the bitcoins systems gives me confidence that my wallets is almost impossible to be brute forced hacked I still worry about my daily internet activities and some click bait that even the most careful person sometimes makes mistakes.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: November 08, 2017, 10:45:13 AM
What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017?

well since 2017 has nearing to end then holding might not be a very good idea since what you propose is time constrained so I think it would be better to make the most out of it early through selling it before the fork comes. Or take risks in gambling but I suggest you take your time and set a price goal then hold until you were able to reach that goal unless you really need the money asap.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 07, 2017, 08:09:39 PM
Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.
I agreed on this matter, as long as bitcoin being used as payment in online it is considered as money like usd, euro and ¥ which means it shows bitcoin is like a real currency/money.

The only difference is that we cannot hold bitcoins physically and apart from that there is not much difference between bitcoins and real money as we can spend it anywhere we want like real money so bitcoin is definitely a money to me.

Correct, as long as I can use it even on a daily basis and trade anywhere and anytime in the world then I will also consider bitcoin as money or even better than money. The only thing I could think about money's advantage about bitcoin is acceptability though bitcoin is not legalize in our country we can still easily exchange it to our currency and use it like just an ordinary money. I also feel much safer in bitcoins than carrying bulky wallets or atm cards that always an eye catcher for thieves.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 07, 2017, 08:02:44 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

It will not end unless all bitcoins circulating throughout the world vanished or stopped from being used. But that is next to impossible because as we progress internet has become a basic necessities to our daily lives and bitcoins have adapted conveniently to various online services which I think will last forever as long as humans continue to use internet.  Bitcoin may reach an stability in terms of price but I doubt it will end in the future and much more now.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: November 07, 2017, 05:30:26 PM
Well some people will always spend money, if a big proportion of people don't use it, its price will increase until it reaches an equilibrium point.

I agree I read once poll here about how many people uses their bitcoins and surprisingly majority of people tend to use some of their bitcoins on a daily basis. I think the number of people holding bitcoins will just helps the increase in demand of bitcoins versus its low supply and the harder it gets to mine bitcoins as time goes by which will result to increase in value of bitcoins and in that duration bitcoin may show some red market charts which might result to panic selling then more buying and hoarding of coins and so the cycle continues.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: November 07, 2017, 05:14:39 PM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

That was a great loss, but keep your heads up shit happens anyway, mine was not being able to maintain my pc properly and overloaded my computer with different running softwares and games which results to my computer failing and corruption of file including all my important account and wallet details with coins worth $2k which I worked my ass of as a beginner including my hard earned salary which I bought my coins in to and too bad I have no means of recovering them all.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: November 07, 2017, 05:00:03 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Yes, I think it can be considered as an hypothesis since traders and investors do not just hold, buy or sell bitcoins and every step that they do with their resources has an information or an experience backing up their confidence. A experience trader applies his hypothesis to increase a better chance of making a profit out of his or her capital. They rely on information around them that can affect the outcome of the market even just relying on your instincts still uses your understanding throughout the years of experience from the field of trading.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: November 07, 2017, 04:55:28 PM
You're the one who takes the hope of the poor.... Cry

Why did you have to tell the truth? You should let people dream

Well it makes sense but that doesn't mean being rich is being happy with it at the same time a rich person is not just a financially free person and even if a person is financially free that doesn't mean he or she will stop from working or doing what she wants. I'm sure we all have an activity or work that we love to do for example to my plan after getting rich is to establish a school helping people who can't afford to have proper education and in that manner I think I will be able to provide quality education at my fullest just doing what I love and providing modern facilities for them.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: November 07, 2017, 03:26:55 PM
Which of the Bitcoin wallets between the Online and Offline works best?

I prefer online wallets since I'm always on the move with my regular job and somehow monitoring my accounts and investments has become quite ecstatic and addicting for me I can't help but monitor the market and trade different alt coins from time to time like playing a game or something so I never actually used an offline wallet.
273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 07, 2017, 03:18:38 PM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Bitcoin is a currency.  You cant say money is gambling itself.  But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin,  now it is gambling.  Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days,  but you know it might also drop.  There is still win or lose in it,  so basically its still gambling.  The process is gambling,  not bitcoin itself.

True because bitcoins is not a game that you play using your cash or money, it is a currency by itself but as it is a great opportunity to some for investments so they tend to risks their money for a chance to earn more, though they are somewhat the same as gambling it is different in natures since you just don't rely on your luck and play to earn, because investors and traders use skills and researches every steps for clue on how to manage their investments.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: November 07, 2017, 02:48:54 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

I noticed that price changes depending on the current news and events that happens related to bitcoins like interviews with known people giving comments about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies to banning of certain country or being legalize to others. It always affects how the market changes and mostly whenever bitcoins faced negative publicity its price lowered and a lot of people tend to sell or panic sells their coins which to some is an opportunity to buy more bitcoins.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2017, 01:03:20 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

because it is safer and easy to store with cheap service payments that offers anonymity in every transactions. It's high value makes it a good choice for investment since it increase the demand of bitcoin and can also be earned through a lot of ways that it can be considered as a source of income. Bitcoin is not taxable also and provides faster transactions compared to other currencies.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret? on: November 07, 2017, 10:07:13 AM
I don't regret if i missed the big time opportunity a few years back because i can't blame myself because i am not that technology lover in that time and all i want is to play video games and just play the things that i am happy with and i don't care about my future but few years passed by, i realized that i need to take care of myself and just 2-3 years ago, I started working in bitcoin and now i am happy and i don't regret anything.

Same here instead I am glad that I could still be a part of the revolution of bitcoin in terms of market and currency trading. I know bitcoin is still growing and will break every record it made in the past so I will continue holding and hoping also to earn more from where I started.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: November 07, 2017, 08:50:02 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

It is hard to agree to a specific date but I agree that it would be available and acceptable to almost everyone in the upcoming year because internet by that time would be able to reach throughout the world to and since its services will improve market and business establishment would also adapt to it and I think bitcoin by that time would still be the primary option for bitcoin transactions.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: November 07, 2017, 08:25:47 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

They all take risks. Money can be earned and spent, they come and go sometimes lost and sometimes just rains down on you but the one key to make it work and profit is to take risks and manage to save from time to time. If you want your money to work for you then you have to invest like or establish a business or be successful in trading which all requires you to take risks.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: November 07, 2017, 07:54:13 AM
As people are awarding of bitcoin & its potential. When we can see bitcoin as international currency? Huh

I think bitcoin wouldn't need to be considered as international currency as long as it is widely accepted and have various services available throughout the globe then its fine. I believe the international barriers of bitcoin is not an issue since it is used through internet and can be accessible almost anywhere now a days the only issue about cryptocurrencies are their acceptability which is gradually become less of a problem since markets and services are slowly adapting to cryptos now.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: November 07, 2017, 07:34:58 AM
Bitcoin has become the world most valuable asset and the value keeps going higher!

Why not we should focus on saving more bitcoins than selling our last remaining bitcoins?

I read and hear from a lot of guys owning bitcoin saying, should I sell my bitcoins?

The issues is, if you sell all your bitcoins when are you going to buy at lower price?

There's no guarantee when exactly bitcoin price will surely come down.

Share your thoughts about what you think guys. Smiley

Because you could get more out of your bitcoins by holding and selling it when the price goes up. Although it is uncertain and sometimes hard to predict that bitcoins prices will go up or down from time to time in the market it is for sure that there's a point in time that its prices spiked up and you would want to be ready when that time comes.
