221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: January 15, 2018, 01:36:10 AM
If it affects your health and lifestyle in a negative way or your socialization then I think it can be called addiction just like being workaholic in a way. Cryptocurrencies can be very profitable and to some it was everything they've got since they go all out but being addicted to can also prove to be negative in your investment and yourself.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What fears did you have when you first started dealing with Cryptocurrencies? on: January 15, 2018, 01:18:48 AM
When you first went head first into the unknown, what were your thoughts? What were you afraid the most?  Huh

I fear of being scammed during a transactions or via phishing sites, since I dont' have much any idea about cryptocurrencies works most that time and I usually started by just hearing it as a good opportunity to invest I can't helped but to be extra careful and afraid from scammers since I heard of them a lot in the cryptocurrency world.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: January 08, 2018, 10:00:07 AM
They are not dying they are just red due to the massive rise in BTC and ETH over the past week or so. Give it until the old stainless steel eating rods have been finished and you'll see the alts rise again. It happened last time the fork happened.

If your investments are all in altcoins I'd advise that you stop looking at exchanges for a couple of weeks and then come back to see some green candles!

True, I think it is just normal thing and it will go back immediately to a price where it can start rising again. I've read previous forums regarding this instances and most people who sold their coin by panic selling are now regretting their actions really bad.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: January 08, 2018, 09:44:45 AM
I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.

I think we all happen to fail at some point in our investment but your attitude is good by sharing your experience you give insights to other people and they learn from your experiences and what you did takes up strength. It is not about the money we lost and think about the knowledge you learn from this. It is true that investing is not a race and sometime what we need to do is to just be firm and wait for our ultimate goal to happen.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: January 08, 2018, 08:38:20 AM
Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?

I think I would go to any top 5 altcoins since I only have $50 then I think I would make the most out of it by buying altcoin with a smaller value so I can buy large amount of it and hold for quite sometime that hopefully it will earn profite multiple time my initial investments.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: January 08, 2018, 08:08:06 AM
on bitcointalk and social media
learn that project but still carefull
sometime good project can be scam
or sometime bad project will long life

true , some altcoins can be a scam specially when it is too good to be true and some are legit projects that will not be able to succeed but this are the usual risks out there when participating to ICO's but they can be certainly profitable.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin on: January 08, 2018, 08:05:06 AM
I think it is a scam unless they can present a concrete data on how they can prove their claims. Maybe they just want to attract people to try and invest using the bitcoin hype as a bait. A good altcoin will be transparent in all its claims and will try to prove it through its plan and projects.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:04:00 AM
Just wondering if ETH can

Yes it can but it would take a very long amount of time and possibly years before it actually able to reach the value of bitcoin if we are talking about bitcoin value of $19000 to $20000, I can see ethereum steadily grows but it is still a rookie compared to bitcoin.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: December 30, 2017, 02:03:28 PM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

If they will only learn to observe the market trend through yearly and monthly basis then they would have atleast the idea of how they will reach the profit of their investment. It is not like magic that they can earn easily just buy investing through a couple of days.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of a new year on market? on: December 30, 2017, 12:34:25 PM
What do you guys think the new year will bring us? Massive price drops or maybe prices going up? Or maybe nothing at all? Please share your expectations with me

Well base on my observations before this holiday season the market seems to benefit the most and the prices of top cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum tremendously increased in price where as  the sudden spike results to red markets by end of december to january then maybe gradually increase as the months of 2018 goes by.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: December 30, 2017, 12:07:23 PM
perhaps the first Bitcoin coin in the world of crypto and altcoin is a bitcoin follower. bitcoin is nominated all over the world and is acceptable in most places, whereas most people are not aware of altcoin nor have value but are still under Bitcoin.

True, since it is the very first breakthrough of cryptocurrency through bitcoin I think it deserves that high value from all of the things it has gone through. Bitcoin has laid the very foundation of acceptability and services for cryptocurrencies that every altcoins benefits today.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Know.. on: December 30, 2017, 11:12:24 AM
That is why I am planning to invests in atleast top 5 alt coins in the market rankings and wait until the end of 2018, if somehow they managed to gain profits then I would stop holding them, its true that altcoins have greater potential compared to btc because of the very big price difference.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 30, 2017, 10:59:04 AM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

I think it will, it easily climb up its value in the market this year 2017 and somehow managed to continuously increase its value throughout the period of its existence so I expected ethereum to even reach beyond $1000 before the year 2018 ends.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: December 30, 2017, 10:18:21 AM

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

Invest now, you can later wait until its price increase more than your prior investment. But if you are really a careful investor then try to wait for the price of the coin you prefer to fall down before buying it, specially since altcoins value are much slower to increase compared to bitcoin.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple more valuable than Ethereum on: December 30, 2017, 08:05:43 AM
Ripple is now crypto rank 2: https://coinmarketcap.com/

Grin

I was surprised to see this but I still prefer ethereum for my investment options though it is amazing how ripple manages to climb up the market I find it unstable with the sudden growth and for me ethereum is much more stable.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment regrets! on: November 21, 2017, 06:51:46 AM
The obvious one, not buying bitcoin when it was dirt cheap. Then buy at $100, and offloading them at $450, thinking I had scored a fantastic deal. Hindsight is wonderful, isn't it. Oh! How I wish, it does not work like that. Not even the longest term holders dreamt it will be like this.

That was my biggest regret to, turning down and disregarding bitcoin opportunities in those early times. Even when it was introduced it again to me by my friend I didn't move asap because I was still skeptical about different things about it but as I go deeper the more I realized that I just wasted such golden opportunity.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: November 21, 2017, 05:25:46 AM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?

I do keep buying from time to time, I used 30% of my savings to buy more bitcoins whenever the price goes down. I think every bitcoin bought increase my opportunity for a more successful investments and greater percentage of earnings but I always make sure to not invest 100% of my money so that in case of emergency I will not be able to prematurely sells my bitcoins.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2017, 05:17:34 AM
my plan is to gather as more bitcoin as I can before it gets to $10 000. This year i guess bitcoin can go up to $1000 and in a few years it will worth a lot more.Im hoping to have a few coins when that happens

Same here, I plan to hold and buy more bitcoins bit by bit until I reach my investment goals. First I want to have atleast 4 bitcoins and sell it when it reach $10k regardless of time, I'm willing to wait until it reaches my goal and sell it when that happens.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 21, 2017, 05:12:41 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I'm not surprise since that was my main expectation about bitcoin and the reason why I invested to it. I believe in bitcoin's potential that is why I expected it to reach higher value at the end of the year.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: November 21, 2017, 04:51:59 AM
I have used bitcoin since 2010 without any regard for drama or the price. It is the only money I need and I ain't going back. I deliberately worked on my credit score until it said "Unscoreable". Which is my official credit score, lol.  I've opted out of bank money to the extent I can.

Same here, I've been investing to bitcoins ever since it was introduced to me by my friend early 2017 and I find it very exciting and promising. I do check the market charts from time to time and was amazed how bitcoin's price grew up so high in just a small period of time.
