Ok I had enough of this sharade ....I payed on Feb 11  in BTC for one LA3M proof: txid: 68685976617132fb6c6c06d29673a4faa711857d704fa68a051950fe13be7810 and he said he will deliver it in max 7-10 days.

Today is Feb 27 and I received no LA3M , not  even a tracking no. Yesterday he said: "just a min I will check your order" and after 24 h still no reply.

Every mail I sent to Angela was like dropping a coin into a hole...you can't even hear it reaching the bottom...she never replied back with a tracking a number, not even a confirmation of my BTC payment.Only Jack replied but without solid answers to my questions, like: we will ship soon or just wait" and so on.

Jack acording to your TOS I'm entitled to ask for a refund if you didn't ship in 10 days max from my BTC payment. You are 1 week late you drain out my patience completely and  I see my ROI getting thiner, so REFUND ME AT ONCE please, at my address: 1JUVE4VXSUikBUabLbVNu5CJopzqmRWQzk    or if you already shipped my order pm me with a solid proof: tracking no, otherway just refund.
I'm not going to get "we will ship your order soon or today" for granted again.

I'm going to be a gentleman and  wait 24 h more for my BTC refund before a I shall put a SCAM tag on you and post negative feedback.

If you won't refund me after those 24 h  I will make a signature with lightningasic marked as SCAM and link it to this topic and pay others for posting their signatures in here and everywhere in this forum and litecointalk.

That sucks, and I was in the same boat until a couple days ago. I suggest emailing each of the various email addresses multiple times a day asking for an update, and PM Jack here. It really seems that you have to pester them to get any traction. My order has shipped, and I was thinking about getting some more, but I don't want to go through this experience again so I'm going to order with someone else.

How much RAM does it have?

The general trend of scrypt is to be Asic resistant, you are seeing a shift taking place away from litecoin scrypt to more ram intensive things like N-Factor and Scrypt Jane , thats where the future of crypto is going to be, no one wants asics because big banks will just buy up the entire supply chain in one swoop.

That is exactly why i put in a paypal dispute.

Asiabtc wrote that he had units ready to ship out. I paid on the 10th and have just recieved my tracking number yesterday after doing a dispute towards him - amazing how that helps huh?

I would rahter pay the 3.5% fee for paypal than to be in the situation that juve4v is in.

Same here. I hate that I paid in BTC. Just bought the BTC and paid directly so no loss so far in exchange rate. But it's frigging annoying that they're just ignoring everyone. Just get 3 guys more to do support and then you will have half the problems. Quite close to also putting a scam tag on jack's account.

Tbh.. did you guys see the prices from gridseed on the units?

And compared them to his price..

Hes making like $100 a piece in profit - and this is PER USB, not PER LA3M.. I'd argue he has money enough to hire a few (no offence) cheap chinese supporters who can handle his email support/sending out tracking id's..

Finally got to the dashboard and put in all the required info, but none of the miners start up they all say offline.     Undecided

I also see that when I add the workernames that I made (seperated with commas) and I hit the submit and restart button, I don't see the workers names show up next to the LTC Miner names  for example LTC Miner 1:24 (workername not listed here)  only says LTC Miner 1:24

I tried different mining pools to, with no luck and seen some people talking about turning something off and on, but they don't describe what exactly to turn off and on.    Is there anything else I need to unplug and plug back in as well?    any help is greatly appreciated! Smiley

Have you put a pool in the SHA-256 pool? Even if you're not going to dual mine and have it disabled you need to have a pool entered. Just enter anything.

Yes I just copied the scrypt pool into into the sha-256 pool fields and have enabled for sha-256 unchecked.    it just says offline for the miner :/

PLEASE HELP!

after 2 days of troubleshooting this I'm finally at the dashboard and see all my 10 miners but they are all OFFLINE and I can't get them to hash at all.  Huh  I have setup the scrypt pool and filled in stuff on the SHA-256 as well and left the enabled button unchecked (I just want to mine scrypt anyway)

I tried doing the steps from worldlybedouin listed below with no luck as well...

1. Unplug power cable from TP-Link controller
2. Turn off the USB hub switch (or unplug the hub from the controller)
3. Remove all the USB cables from the hub except 1 of them
4. Plug in the TP-Links power cable
5. Allow the controller to start up and "settle" a bit (~2mins or so)
6. Make sure the controller dashboard shows no devices connected and says something about connecting a USB hub
7. Flip the power switch on the USB hub so now the 1 miner is connected to the controller
8. REfresh the Dashboard to see the 1 miner show up
9. Wait to let that 1 miner start hashing away
10. Next, plug in the remaining miners 1 by 1...about 1 min apart from each other

I would stop following that guide at step 4 and just plug in all of the miners at once. Also, turn everything off when you want to reset your miners. You can wait about ten seconds for the blue light to stop blinking and then turn on the USB hub. Now see what you have. What pool are you using? I know wafflepool will work with these miners, so use that one for testing purposes. Make sure to put a real BTC mining pool info into the BTC field (do not enable). It may take 1-2 minutes for the miners to turn from offline to online (close the browser window and open a new one with your TPlink ip address). Try switching the frequency to 750 if they do not change to online in 5 minutes.

Next you can try turning the frequency down to 600 and turning the usb hub off and on. If this does not work, double check that the connections are tight and try to identify which miner is not running (does not flash like the others). Then switch it to a different power cable and USB cable to see if the problems moves with it.

Much appreciated for the tips! I actually got it hashing finally, after refreshing and changing pools.   I tried plugging them all in at once but they were all offline still, but got them to work after doing it one by one.  For the sha-256 pool info I just put some other scrypt pool in there and it seemed to work.   You think it would work better if has real BTC mining pool info entered in?

Also you said to turn everything off when I want to reset the miners, can you tell me how I go about doing that please?

Was in the same boat, but then I called DHL and told them that I should have a package on the way. Gave them my details and they found the package . They are really unorganized and might not even have a good way of checking what they sent out.

I got my LA6M today but only one of the controllers is functional  Angry. The other controller isn't recognized by my router. This means I can only run 10 units right now (only half of my order). I tried all 20 on one controller but it wont use all the miners and only gets 3mh total. Not happy with this situation. Is the lightningAsic brand the only controller that disables sha-256? I need a controller (that disables sha-256 and only mines scrypt) fast.

What do you mean by disables  she-256 ? Are you saying that you cannot enable and disable the she-256 cores as you wish ?  The controller from lightingasic only allows script mining ? I ordered to use both cores, this would not be good news

Dual mode is supported no matter how your run them. Some people WANT to disable the SHA-256 cores and that so far isn't possible when running from a computer.

But, you can have the lightningasic tech's login to disable it on the controller right?

They are coming from China of course. They may go through Hongkong, but the company is based in China obviously... Hence sellers website talks about Chinese Yuan not Hongkong dollar.... And the address on the webiste & asiabtc's sig...

Shenzhen
...
So that would be mainland china I guess.
Well Shenshen doesn't sound like Hongkong to me... Sounds a lot more like the massive Chinese city at the border still leeching off a by-gone age & British colonialism.

Paid by Western Union for LA6M on Monday. Money arrived in China instantly. (faster than 6 btc confirmations)

Product was shipped Wednesday.

Arrives 2pm Friday.

I've ordered shit from Amazon that has taken longer and was more complicated. Very happy with this total process so farGrin
