Unfortunately only one board do this... And when running at full board get much hotter...
I did notice that marking on one of the components is a bit different then on a sample board but component datasheet say it is only a date code...
So are you saying we still don't know what is wrong with the boards? Has Mr. Teal made any progress? No. We will see what will happen when MrTeal get his board... That means ... Realistically we won't see our boards until the beginning of next year.

Hmm,
do you mean you can send the boards which hash > 30 GH/s allready? It looks like these are ok for now and every day is a loss in 10 € a day with actual diff. (not to forget the lost allready we've got for the time). I don't need an immediate fix for more hashing rate for an board which can be throw in a trash bin in a half year but is running for now . :-(
Cheers...
+1 IF, it is fixable via software ... otherwise please fix the hardware. Get Mr. Teal a little more involved, he designed it after all. Cheers one4many

EDIT: Because of all the errors we found we only made 4 boards so we can test if they work. I did ask MrTeal yesterday to go over all that he send me and he told me that everything should be fine now. It wasn't so I'm not ready to risk all boards...
Good call!

There is uncritical mistake in Chili BOM... One component is missing. Is anyone plan to use GPU cooler? Plug for GPU cooler fan is not in BOM and I missed that error. I will order it now and will add it later by hand on boards that will need it... The rest looks OK... But they didn't finish setting up yet so first board will came off assembly tomorrow...
And now I have all the boards done... I will also receive the one from France tomorrow too... So I can make additional 150 boards without a problem if anyone needs them...
Just send me my connectors later ... I do them myself. I guess you have to do lots of other things at the moment anyway. All the best! one4many

Staff at assembly... They are now making PnP ready for production...
Yaaay ... I keep my fingers crossed so nothing breaks again! Good luck! one4many

Have the boards made it back to the facility yet? What kind of time frame are we looking at until completion and shipping?
Update... Do not use Aramex or DPD express for shipping anything... They send package DPD express and it turns out that DPD uses Aramex for express shipping. It was seating in Paris till today and today they have no idea where it is... Tracking say it left Paris 2 days ago but that was not the case unless they lie to me that it is still in Paris... I should get 40 express made boards next week(I hope Monday) so we can start... Would you like chip picture again so you know I'm not mining? This is a too crazy ... a total disaster one4many

First in First Out is fair.
+1 Why should the ppl who paid later (waited too long!? ... potentially delayed the ordering parts) now get boards earlier? Doesn't sound fair to me. The ones who ordered first should be served first. Just my 50 Satoshi one4many

I will know more tomorrow but I guess about 10 days... I will see if I can get founds for rushjob from them... But that is like 400% price... The ones who lost the boards should pay for that!

OK. Yesterday assembly could not find boards. ….
I guess you are cursed. 5 weeks delay that is quite a stash of cash going down the drain All we can do is sit and wait

I try identify the form factor of the USB connection on the board. Is it mini USB .... or micro USB?

It's a 5 pin Mini-B. Thx ... this is just what I needed ... need to order a few ... still prefer to use chaining ;-) If it would have been ready.

Lucko,
can you please confirm that the Chili Baords are going to be the same as the original ones from MrTeal? I would like to know because I need to order parts (power connectors / heat sinks and chases) upfront so I can assemble the miners with no further delay.
Also do you happen to know how much AMP they will draw per board on 12 V?
Thx in advance

Hello MrTeal, - Z-Link Chaining Connections
....
How is this feature coming along? ... It's a low priority firmware upgrade, since it's really only useful for a few users (most of whom already have their units set up). We will continue to work on it, but it will likely be a little while before it gets implemented. Thats extremely unfortunate .... meaning I have to buy USB hubs and hope they all work on one box Why offer such a feature when you don't implement it ... I guess it was very clear from the beginning that only a few users need that .. but they REALY NEED IT!!! oen4many

Hello MrTeal, - Z-Link Chaining Connections
Similar to BFL's X-Link interface, this still in development interface allows boards to be chained together and a single USB connection to be used, keeping wiring clutter in check for large data center applications
.... [/list] How is this feature coming along? Is it already implemented and how do I daisy-chain several Chili boards together? How many boards are the limit in one chain? Thx one4many

And I ordered by mistake wrong PCI-e plug... So it is not plugged in from side but from top Ah you can put them on my boards. I don't want side usage normally too for the trimmers. The reason is I want as many as possible in a 4HE 19" Serverrack to put them to a air conditioned server room and top connections will help. So I want to have so less space as possible between much boards. +1 ... I don't like cables to side as well, they are almost every time in the way when getting board into cases. Same goes for the USB cable on the board. @asjfdlksfd Do you have special designed case? I would be interested. Cheers one4many

OK ... It is over aaaand ... the auction was shit ... What else was to expect.
5 minutes before the end you could not bid ... The server would not respond at all. So it was impossible to buy something unless you made your bids hours in advance. Meaning most of the units have been sold very cheap, YiFu and the technically incompetent idiots at Tradehill did loose out big time.

Are there any places to buy a bare FPGA replacement board?
bitmine.ch might sell you one ... If it is Avalon batch #1 and #2
