Isn't is a little late to be fixing this generation of board? Refund and close it all out.
My guess is, Lucko not in the position to refund anything.  Huh

I'm not your dude ... For your information, i invested in BTC and in Bitmine the first time (Avalon clones). I got my machines late, I even visited in their offices to talk to them. They are nice guys, they try their best. I don't want to repeat myself (read my text above again), otherwise I sound like you, a retard with no clue.

So continue dreaming and crying, I couldn't care less.  Grin

Thx for the update Lucko

I still think you should send 2 boards to MrTeal, he is the only one who knows the thing inside out and waste not more time on trying to find the problem yourself.

I think after all, nobody forced you to invest in something which is highly risky. But you did.
I guess your own greed ate your mind. Remember the sentence: "If something seems to good to be true, it probably isn't!"

Because money is involved your greedy brain turns off all warning signs. Just look at the history of Bitcoin mining equipment companies. Has a single one delivered on time in the past? Probably not! Something like in the high 90 % has not delivered on time. Even bitmine.ch has not delivered on time at the first Avalon batch.

So why on earth do you risk your life? GREED is the answer ...

Now that you have lost a huge junk of your money the sad truth remains. The truth tries to teach you a lesson, but you probably won't listen. All you do is blame others but not yourself. Even if it is others people fault, that you have lost the money, in the end you HAVE to accept -- that it was YOU -- who has given your hard earned money away (in a risky greedy decision).

BTW: It is not true that only the Bitcoin industry delivers late. Have a look around on kickstarter.com, there is only a hand full of project which deliver on time. I myself invested in a hand full of projects and NOT A SINGLE ONE HAS DELIVERED ON TIME. All of them have to do with electronics and are quite famous, for example Pebble, over ONE YEAR LATE in Europe.

I hope you do recover in the end, but let greed never make any decision for you again.

All the best!

At this point the only real information I have is that there was an error in building the boards but which part is incorrect isn't known, and that the ASIC core power goes immediately into a current limit fault when it is powered on.
That was my assumption. But it doesn't look like it is. Unless I missed something it is assembled correctly. And from data I got back till now they also didn't find anything. Is there a way a new firmware for VRM is the problem?

EDIT: Also there are no shorts. Is there a way to say ignore error? Heat will tell if there is really a problem.
No, the fast overcurrent faults are not something that can be programmed out. You can email me the details on what you've done with these units and I can comment on whether I can see an issue and any results the person you talked to might have found.

Lucko ... again ... what is the status ...
I suspect nothing happened again ...
Send 2 boards to MrTeal so he can diagnose the problem, it can not be that hard to make a parcel ready.

Hi guys,

here some feedback from me about the miners and the seller.
...

UPDATE: I'm in contact with the seller now, they have been to busy to answer last week.
They will replace my dead miners as soon I send them back. I'm thinking of posting the tracking number here. So we can see how speed the replacement is going to be!
Surely transparency is key now, so the seller earn their trust back from the community!

All the best!

Update of the update ... the broken miners have been received ... after that they went silent.
I'll give it another week and then a bad trustlevel is going to be issued ... Too bad really .. there is no honesty in coin business, scammers and low life everywhere.

3rd and final update ... I received my two placement miners on Saturday. They have been well packed and are working ... The whole process took too long for my taste.
Nevertheless the seller was a honest skin and replaced the dead miners.

Regards

Same as I wrote you in a mail. I have send it to debugging company. I can't find anything wrong with it.

Good to know that MrTeal doesn't care anymore ... who is the debugging company. URL / address ?
I would like to know who and where they are.

Thx

what is the status? When are you delivering the last batch with our boards?

Hey Sandor111,

this might be a stupid question. But I don't see dual mining support (scrypt / sha256), is this feature missing intentionally or still coming?

Cheers

So i got a new TP-Link WR703N in the mail and tried to figure out how to flash it with the LA firmware..

Its ended up with the unit flashing for around 12 secs, then having the LED off for 4-5 secs and finishing having the blue LED on constantly after.

Anyone have any ideas?
Hey mazedk,

I had the same problem. It turns out after flashing the first image the WR703N looses it's network settings completely and reverts back to DHCP.
To make it worse needed two or three fresh power-cycles before the web UI came up to flash the 2nd stage firmware.

Hope that helps!

I call scam, enough is enough now. I guess the stream of excuses has run dry Sad
Please say send me my boards now. You will see they are made and they don't work. I would love to do that so I have less of them to fix and someone will confirm the problem... It didn't run dry I'm just sick and tired of this. I'm working over the day and fixing this board at night. What else do you like me to do. Last week I end up in ER because I was neglecting to drink enough and my kidney stones return. One4many pushed me in making boards ASAP but had every chance to have them make sooner. Same goes for you. So please put your money where your mouth is(calling this a scam) and say send them now. Unfortunately this batch since we were pushing time limits went bad. I have no clue at the moment what is wrong. I tested components MrTeal told me that can be wrong and they are all OK. I'm fixing the board blind since I don't have full blueprints only assembly instructions. It is no fan testing components 1x0,5 mm.
Excuse me ... so it is my fault that you had boards made which seem to be broken? Did I or anyone here else tell you to skip 'the normal process' with a the safety precautions or did you make the call yourself? My guess is the latter, so fix it and deliver the boards in a workable state.

Thank you!

      one4many

P.S.: Send a board to the MrTeal, he might have the time to find the problem. Worked sort of with the first broken batch.
P.P.S.: Out of curiosity, have you ever produced a batch with working boards?

Another 2 weeks have passed  Sad
... have you been able to find the cause of the problem of the boards sitting on your desk for a while?

Cheers
