Will the mining work with GPUs instead of Asics?

yes, you should use the modified bfgminer.

Thank you. Do you know if there are any compiled binaries for the modified bfgminer ?

not at the moment; but we can prepare them.

for what platform do you need them?

Windows please. Thank you!

Win32 version as well please Smiley
Still mining i found a couple more blocks over past 24 hours with just 1 BE after finding none for over 12 hours before that, i'm guess the diff must have dropped during this period or i just got lucky Cheesy
I assume i can point the gpu on bfgminer at the proxy and it work harmonious with the BE on cgminer, or is it limited to one or the other?
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ELE] Electric Buy/Sell Thread on: January 06, 2014, 11:12:57 PM
WTB 2.5M ELE for 1 LTC.  You send first.

Hope you're kidding homeboy.
2.5M goes for 1.5 btc

no quite serious,  there is a already a ridiculously huge amount of this doge coin clone that been mined in a relatively short period (in addition to the premine of 2% - equals about 200M before public release?), lack of dev support, no official wallet and the one that was avail still has mooncoin in the titlebar. Other alts with alot more support, better release still have not made it on exchanges.

Anyone wants to sell some PM me.

1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY MED] * Altcoin using UNIQUE hybrid SHA256 / Scrypt hashing! * on: January 06, 2014, 10:21:32 PM
free MED, its the most interesting coin so far this year! More miners are on board with this coin as I only managed to find one block in last 12 hours using single Block Erupter.  Still it something Smiley

1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MediterraneanCoin - REUSE your ERUPTER!! new hibrid PoW algo! on: January 05, 2014, 11:47:45 PM
Been mining with one BE for past few days, first 24 hours i was finding a block every 2-3 hours, now its gone up to average 3-5 hours.  Its something interesting to try and if not for MED, my BE would be just lying around doing nothing.

I had some of those errors earlier, i found restarting proxy/cgminer seem fix it temporarily,  also I found more blocks when my computer was idle so better results probably if u used a separate laptop etc for it so CPU is not being shared with other stuff.

using the the win7/32 bit versions/cgminer that were posted on website for this.

y dont u upload the blockchain somewhere, not being able to sync the wallet to any of the main nodes means only the few people with complete blockchains  are able to mine, its already been some hours and still the wallet doesnt sync at all.  the premine is being effectively extended as long as this situation exists Sad

edit: dev could upload an up to date blockchain with a current peers.dat to a filehost such as Mega or Mediafire or to www.livechains.net so people dont have to wait forever for the 2 week premine to download with the wallet before they can start.

even with addnodes posted above nothing is being synced :\

how do u any of that is that real btc from investors and not the visacoin dev/s attempting to manipulate?  there is alot of dirty btc floating around the past few months and more then enough to support further scams for a long time to come :\
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTT] 1050 CAT on: December 31, 2013, 03:54:26 AM
CoinEX does CAT/LTC and CAT/BTC, you can choose which market u want and no need to risk using cryptsy or anywhere else for a straightforward trade like this.  less fees on coinex as well.

1097  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you be interested in a "gen-wallet"? on: December 29, 2013, 04:26:44 AM
I would like see a plugin based wallet made if its possible.  Something that would allow new plugins to created by other people to support future coins or electrum like networks that be developed for other coins in future. Plugins could co-exist or share the blockchain data with the official wallet for coin, and the main wallet app would show only the coins that user has added the plugins for.
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: ecrypto.net crashed, and my coins disappeared on: December 29, 2013, 03:20:58 AM
this is not an exchange to trust with any significant amount.  according to these terms they can shut down and do not have to pay you any coin you deposited there.  Its something you have agreed to to automatically when u sign up :\
