Could you consider switching to public addresses? Its impossible to get BTC out of bitfunder right now. Last dividends paid are all trapped there.
Oh, I thought that it was possible to even withdraw 0.00000001 btc till closure. Everyone can withdraw from bitfunder to weexchange their bitcoins, but withdrawls are not being processed. Some people have been waiting for some weeks now to get their BTC from there. Attempts to withdraw result in following error message "Unable to Connect to 2nd Stage Server", and the amount of bitcoin are stuck in limbo. Ukyo says he is now manually processing requests but that also means each new dividend that gots to bitfunder is another support request to withdraw it, and it could be weeks or longer before its received based on the posts in threads. I already made one withdraw nearly 2 weeks ago which has not been processed yet, and i'm not expecting it soon as there are many others ahead of me in the queue. the second best alt (you said second best, so i assume you mean after LTC) in my opinion would be XPM, followed by PPC. you can also trade them for USD, and PPC almost reach 1 USD (0.99) @ Crypto-Trade (link is in my signature), its come down since then. XPM also saw some jumps in USD value while falling against BTC.

Investors need, and deserve, to know what you will be doing with this asset so that, if necessary, they can sell their shares while they still can. Your silence on this basic question is causing you to lose credibility among investors. Who is going to want to invest in an asset that you manage in the future if you don't even answer a basic question like this?
