121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: September 10, 2019, 01:38:54 PM
This is a good way to use crypto but the problem you describe is not that big of a deal in the world scale.
Europe doe snot need it, they mostly use Euro and they dont have problems with other currencies.
USA, Russia and other big players are fine with USD so there is not that much of a need to use crypto in this case.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. Bitcoin ETF bad? on: September 09, 2019, 04:36:36 PM
What do you mean, what censorship ?
ETF if a economical instrument and financial option , it allows certain investors to get in within existing legal framework.
Even more, in reality ETF with high probability will not allow to buy BTC directly ut some option that covers BTC price.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is official a fraud on: September 09, 2019, 04:34:16 PM
This is not news that he is a fraud,  he was just doing it for the money.
As I understand he is shilling BCH and this is why he wanted attention and he made he did reach his goal, he got huge amounts of attention form claiming that he is satoshi if you think of it, then it is a smart marketing move.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: September 09, 2019, 04:32:26 PM

CMC is the industry's best tracking service for market cap and volume but last week Bitwise(a cryptocurrency index fund provider) claimed that CMC is faking most of the exchanges' volume.

Says who?
it is not the best, their web is slow and there are several competitors who are equally good or even better! coinpaprika and coingecko

These sites are not responsible for faking volume but they are responsible for listing those exchanges who do fake volume.

126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Close to BIG Breakout. Will it be $7K or $13K? on: September 03, 2019, 06:49:23 PM
It seems that it broke up rather than down. This could be a sign of market recovering from sharp drop , this big drop could have been just a another squeeze, this time long squeeze and now the market is going where it wanted in the first place. I dont think that 13k is a good upper limit, if btc goes to that level we very well be looking at much higher levels.

127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Calm Before The Storm on: September 03, 2019, 06:44:57 PM
This is cool, it is excellent news when application adds an option to do so, because it is much more convenient to pay on device than physcially.
This means bigger impact and overall positive effect to crypto currencies.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Anyone help me Regarding Bitcoin True Investment? on: August 29, 2019, 06:12:40 PM
You should be more specific on what exactly you want to know, more detailed questions.
If you want us to tell us how to make money, you wont get that answer, anywhere.

The only advice on your limited question, I can give you is to beware of market manipulation moves.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 29, 2019, 06:10:54 PM
Because it is impossible to make it illegal it is decentralized, many shops are accepting crypto as payment options and the number is growing, it just doe snot make sense!
Their are regulating exchanges instead, as many news articles are reporting .
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Billionaires Discussing Bitcoin on: August 29, 2019, 06:08:48 PM
You forgot to include Mark Cuban who has been one of the loudest pro bitcoin billionaires for years now.
Mark Cuban is owner of Dallas Mavericks and recently this team announced that it will be accepting crypto as payment options for game tickets so this should be added , it is significant!
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 27, 2019, 08:38:21 PM
How would you define replacement of bitcoin?

Bitcoin could have very large marketcap but it usage still could be small. Other coins very well overtake BTC in usage , transaction amounnts and speed while BTC still is the number one option for investment.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: August 27, 2019, 08:35:37 PM
The biggest pro of bitcoin is the cross border payment capabilities compared to traditional ones, but i dont see how it will be a game changer for most of the wealthy people . I mean a lot of wealth is concentrated in regions which do not need those payments, I see that those cross border payments are needed for large txs not for every day users.

But i see that alternate payment options is coming ( cryptos) , will it be popular enough, we will see.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming Financially Free With Bitcoin on: August 27, 2019, 08:31:24 PM
I like your strong belief and conviction.
Your plan is solid and i hope you succeed but in case of others, they dont have 100k to invest , most of us can invest up to 1000. This is why this forum is full of thread like " next 10-100 coin" because the 1000 USD/EUR/GBP with BTC will not get you close to financial freedom.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss Crypto Banks Receive Licenses From Financial Regulator on: August 26, 2019, 08:21:07 PM
Red the article , it has 2 references to the companies which are mentioned there.
Both links go to company sites where they have news articles which are about newly gotten licenses. If those companies are legit themselves then the news are legit.
Besides Switzerland always has been the number one banking country and they do not want to lose that.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin be more energy efficient? on: August 26, 2019, 08:13:43 PM
Simple logic says - no , it wont become more energy efficient because hash-rate will continue to increase , and costing more in energy perspective.

But all this means nothing, the main question is what sources of energy bitcoin uses. If they are renewable - no one cares.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can a Bank Run Financial Activies on Blockchain Without Crypto Currency ? on: August 26, 2019, 08:11:15 PM
Yes they can, the best example is Ripple , the have product for banking sector where banks use blockchain without using public cryto currencies - Ripple.
Not only banks are working on those kind of solutions , visa and master-card is doing the same. They recognize the potential an sooner or later will use block chain.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin need to be a currency? on: August 22, 2019, 10:26:34 AM
I think that it is not very important that BTC  is a currenc yfirst and asset second in short term, it is good enough that it gets more people to see it as investment first. It is a good thing that regulations allow BTC to be seen as asset and therefore invested in. In time ti will become more accepted as currency always or other coins will emerge to be payment option.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 21, 2019, 10:58:55 AM
If you had 2 BTC and you say that you had to sell becasue your family would almost starve if you did not, then how much you needed to help them in the first place? Why you did not sell like 2000$ worth of BTC and keep the rest if you were so sure of the bounce in the future.
I think you got scared that it could go even lower than 3000$.
P.s.it so weird to talk about it now, since i also was thinking it can go to 2500 and di not buy that much either.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "satoshi" ever login again? on: August 21, 2019, 10:54:29 AM
Do you think "satoshi" will ever just randomly log in one day and post something?

It seems as if that would be the only way for "satoshi" to ever be proven to be who he is.

I think that it will never happen. It would be too dangerous for him, the whole world would be after him.
This is not the only way to prove his identity beyond any doubt BTW, he can move his BTC.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 21, 2019, 10:45:58 AM

No. There has been a paper posted a while ago that deanonymized almost every mixer (except Chipmixer (perhaps due to it not being vectored properly by the researcher)). I lost the link but i'll search for it in a bit.

And of course you also have the good ol' fed's raiding you if you're hosting your servers in Europe/US. See what happend to Bestmixer. INTERPOL claims they got ALL the transaction data from that mixer.

Edit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117328.0

Vou, that is what I was wondering. This means that crypto can not be anonymous, everything can be relatively easily tracked . And according to link you provided, trackers do not even need to have servers in their hands. Someone who has knowledge of the workings, can easily brake the " code" .
