1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 25, 2012, 09:03:20 PM
I manually added my port forwarding entries just now to be sure it all works. If it doesn't work overnight I can setup a server with litecoind on testnet for you tomorrow. Just let me know if this is needed.

Edit: My local client doesn't seem to want to connect so I setup a server for you. I will pm you the details so you can add it manually to your litecoin.conf to be sure it connects.

I've started up my local testnet litecoind. I will try to leave it running overnight. I can give you a copy of my testnet block index if that helps.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 25, 2012, 07:11:26 PM
What is the current status of Litecoin's testnet? How many blocks in the chain? I'm away from my normal computer and just redownloaded the Litecoin executable to start my tests afresh.

Testnet is pretty dead. When I was developing for Litecoin I had to run two daemons and a miner just to get some activity going. If you have a AMD gpu using reaper or cgminer will greatly help you. If you need some testnet coins let me know I have a bunch lying around.
1144  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum server discussion thread on: July 25, 2012, 07:08:59 PM
I think the latest git version has multi-chain support build in. Open up your config file (/etc/electrum.conf) and add the following under the [server] part:

Code:
coin=bitcoin
datadir=/home/myuser/.bitcoin

Replace the datadir with the path to your bitcoind config folder.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 08:41:48 AM
Forgetting about reaper settings actually helped and it boots properly now. Problem now is all my shares are rejected, I will try to mess around with them till I get some accepted shares Smiley

Edit

Got working settings on my 6800:

Code:
./cgminer --scrypt -I 11 -g 1 --url lc.ozco.in:9332 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 2048 --userpass Someone.something:orother

  • Setting the thread-concurrency higher will segfault the app.
  • Setting intensity higher then 11 will result in more invalid shares then valid once
  • Setting lookup-gap of 1 will segfault the app
  • Setting lookup-gap over 2 will slow down the mhash

At these settings I'm mining at 145Mhash, which is 55Mhash slower then reaper for me at the moment.

Waiting to hear other members experiences.

I have been playing around with it on my 6800. The good news: No crashes just yet! The bad news, I can't get it to hash matching my reaper config as much as I can.

Code:
./cgminer --scrypt --url lc.ozco.in:9332 --lookup-gap 2  --thread-concurrency 6144 --userpass Something.other:orsomething

If anybody can get it to work on a 6800 please let me know your settings.

ckolivas: Can I somehow get some debug information for you, or is that not necessary at this point.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 20, 2012, 02:29:47 PM
Would it be acceptable to ask Ckolivas to do some updates in this thread and/or give donators a sneak preview at early versions. I know this was not part of the deal but it would be a nice bonus.

There are plenty of pools out there, why do you want this pool?

I honestly don't really care about the BTC too much, just want to help out. I have send you a pm.
1152  Economy / Auctions / Re: I'll buy 8th wonderland dvdrip with english language audio or good subtitles. on: July 15, 2012, 08:59:03 PM
I can get you a version with English, French and German audio, although not the entire movie is English apparently. The release has English subtitles too just in case. I will leave you to decide the final price based on the quality of the movie.

I would like to deposit 40BTC if you are still taking. Could you pm me a receiving address if so?
1154  Economy / Lending / Re: Quick 40 BTC loan while money transfers on: July 14, 2012, 02:52:07 PM
You still need 40BTC?

1% interest per day and returned within 10 days, is this correct?

Need some temp hosting? I can give you a small VPS if that would help.

website still down, sorry about that.

in the meantime, v0.60 can still be downloaded through
the following links:

I was able to find a solution to my hosting issues.

Tachikoma, thanks again for helping out with the temporary VPS.
I guess I will no longer need it now but it was very appreciated.

Roger! I will remove it again, hit me up if you ever need something a little more permanent Smiley

Check Bit-Pay or BitcoinPayflow and the Merchant Howto.
