OSX 10.6 is 32Bit and I'm guessing this is 64bit only binary, good to know! I will see what I can do about that I failed so far to build a 32Bit binary because my python version only has 64Bit support. In order to build a 32bit package I need to use the default installation of python but I can't revert that. I am looking into the option of setting up a VM so I can build both arches.

Thanks to the scripts Coblee build it is now possible to generate .dmg files for OSX. The problem though is that the behaviour has been a bit inconsistant. If you are on OSX or have access to a computer running it please try downloading this file. Please report back if it works and what the GUI looks like (Black or White).

OSX Instructions?
I see some people are running in on mac, but can't get it running on mine.
If you can come by IRC (#electrum on freenode) I can help you with any problem you might have

That doesn't scale very well though. What would happen if I wanted to run a litecoin testnet faucet? I really prefer scoping services on testnet prefix.
|
|
|
I've setup a testnet explorer on http://explorer.testnet.litecoin.net/ http://testnet-explorer.litecoin.net/. You can also add this domain to your testnet client with addnode to make sure you are always connected to an other testnet client. I have a few k/hashes working on testnet to generate blocks. I hope this helps others out when developing litecoin related applications.

But if you are setting up a pool you will have to do all those things anyway. Or am I missing something?
I'm working through my backups now and trying to get you some data, if I succeed I will update the topic and pm you a link.

Did you consider running your pool on testnet and just put a GPU on it for a few minutes? That should give you tons of data

Until the servers can be more stable and the windows version of the application can connect to the servers on a constant basis, I will be using Multibit which I am happy to say is more forgiving of glitches. There is even a nifty rollback feature.
This feels kinda passive aggressive in my humble opinion. You post in a thread to tell us you are _not_ using the client the thread is dedicated to.

Like most people pointed out we need more merchants. There is a page on the Wiki with some merchants and other services. If you accept Litecoin please consider adding yourself.

Yeah, I will see if we can keep a testnet running.
I have a dedicated node running litecoind on testnet. I can run a abe instance from there as well for testnet if needed.

You haven't been active for the past four months and just got back to get a loan. That doesn't really give me a lot of confidence you want to stick around to pay back your debt. Too risky imho.

I like it too. This is how it looks on Win XP (classic theme):
Ugh, it looks way worse then the OSX gui. Some differences I noticed right away: - Horrible font rendering (BTC amount)
- Different spacing between elements
- Inactive state for the send button doesn't apply the right font color
I wonder if it's the same on Windows 7, could anybody get a build running on 7?

Not really pool/exchange related but I've updated my Electrum litecoin node

I'm working with Genjix to spice up the new lite GUI. New styleOld styleYou can test out the new style in the 'new-layout' branch on Gitorious. I'm mostly wondering if it renders the same across all OS's. The reference screenshot was taken on OSX.

Try to run this query on your electrum database update datadir set chain_id=1 where datadir_id =1
Or manually open the datadir table and put chain_id to one for the correct row.
