I keep checking this thread to see updates from the op and all I read is whining from you and others. The price was set. He's not going to change it because you keep crying about it
522  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: November 09, 2013, 10:10:49 PM
this price needs to drop.

0.7 I could understand as it would undercut the red furyx2 price of .78 but not at 3x the price of the red for double the hashes

Sorry but where you have that 3x price?

According to last BTC/Eur exchange rate, BTC price is ~0.64

Red Fury / Blue Fury / Nano Fury can be found on eBay for $115-$130.  Some are higher, but they don't sell.
So just take $125 per unit as an example.  $125 x 3 = $375.  BitStamp right now is $359 / BTC
0.9 x $359 is $323.10.
So you can buy 3 Red/Blue/Nano's for 1.04 BTC, which is 7.5 Gh/s
Or you can buy one of yours for 0.9 BTC, which is 5.0 Gh/s (not yet proven independently).

Dude is right.  0.7 would be a competitive retail sale price.
0.58 would be a good wholesale price to resellers.

I'm sorry but you guys need to stop telling them what to sell their product at. Its their product. They know what they need to sell it at to make their money back. Their job is not to get all of you rich by mining bitcoin...its to run their business and sell their product.

If you don't like it then go buy from another vendor and stop trolling. Its getting pathetic now. They set their price. Move on if you don't like it.

OP Died?
No response from him, 6th of November here.

It is sad, he died with the plan of the USB miner.

RIP OP.

Not dead...last active earlier today. Check his profile

Would you take 3.5 BTC + shipping

It is very hard to load all those sticks.   Kind of fun to push limits on one pc.  I believe I will get up to 135 sticks on the 3x  49 port hubs.

It is fun isn't it? I'm using computer PSU's to power things I never thought I would lol. And my computer looks like Frankenstein with things plugged in all over the place.

I do have a question for you though. How easy do you think it would be to wire a 5v PSU into an ATX connector for these hubs. And do you think it would actually work? A PSU like this for example:

http://www.circuitspecialists.com/hf300w-s-5.html

I think you see where I am going with this...2 hubs on 1 PSU...

Anyone looking for 50 blades + plz PM me.

Canary sounds like you have some blades to sell Smiley  With the cube coming out soon would you be willing to discount an order of 10 blades?
528  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] LOT of 336GHash of ASIC equipment & Parts on: November 02, 2013, 02:35:19 PM
EDIT: Both Mini's sold for $500/ea

Thats funny because I offered you 3 BTC each for them...more than $500...and you turned it down literally just hours ago because you didn't want to part your miners out.
529  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] LOT of 336GHash of ASIC equipment & Parts on: November 02, 2013, 12:25:26 AM
Sent you a PM. What hash rates did the Avalon and Red Hash units get?
530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old Trend vs New Trend vs Unsustainable Bubble ??? + "6 Step Pattern Analysis" on: November 01, 2013, 04:50:15 PM
If the BTC will not jump in the next day or 2, I will call the recent drop from 233 USD towards 160 USD as the latest "Mild Crash EVent" and we are now oficially in Consolidation [6] until 18 december Smiley
I will then also update my chart Wink

Price seems stable above $200. Its starting to become a psychological floor now. So you're right we are probably in "consolidation" until the next spike.
531  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get your ASIC now! on: November 01, 2013, 11:33:28 AM
Cool site. However why did you choose USD as the default currency? Why not bitcoin? I know you guys accept bitcoin but it should be the currency you see on the main page. Just my opinion. Still a cool site and I think I'll be trying it out soon  Grin
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old trend vs New Trend vs Unsustainable Bubble ??? + "6 Step Pattern Analysis" on: October 31, 2013, 01:32:57 AM
Overall I think your analysis is sound. I just scoffed at seeing BTC at $500 by January lol. Even I'm not that optimistic. But I think we may be headed into the "mild crash event" you described shortly. There doesn't seem to be as much buying power in the market as there was a few days ago.
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old trend vs New Trend vs Unsustainable Bubble ??? on: October 31, 2013, 01:19:06 AM
Cool thread. Breath of fresh air in here.

thanks Cheesy

I was thinking of creating these charts a few weeks ago, but didnt had the time. And now, with the current "bubble", I felt I needed to do this ASAP Wink

Its interesting analysis...but just looking at your prediction the "False Signal" in [5] is a substantial gain (to well over $500). Thats more then just a false signal, thats an increase larger than the initial bubble
534  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: October 30, 2013, 10:38:47 PM
So can this miners mine all them SHA-256 alt coins like PPC, Zetacoin, TGC ?

Yes.

philipma1957 has found this PSU:

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-12860
use code   afc909     get a 15% discount  to under  14 bucks plus shipping!

It should be tested Wed/Thur to know for sure, but from the specs, it looks to be a great PSU to power one of these hubs (for the $).

Mine is due to my home on weds I will test it and post in this thread and in crazy guy's thread.   they had a lot in stock .

I just went to the link and added 200 to my cart they only have 153 in stock...  So waiting may be smarter  then buying.

My results should post  in about 20 hours.

Thanks!
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin QT upstarted after a couple of weeks, - Complete wallet UNCONFIRMED on: October 29, 2013, 10:48:27 PM
In your bitcoin data directory, delete the "blocks" and "chainstate" (you can backup before deleting, but there's nothing important there). This will reset all downloaded blocks and allow bitcoin to redownload the blockchain.

Does the -reindex command still work? I believe that used to do it for you.
537  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: October 29, 2013, 05:15:46 PM
5000/335= 14.9 AM BEs
14.9*0.035= 0.52

I expect at least 0.5 BTC.

You also have to consider that you need ports for 14-15 block erupters. An additional cost
538  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD] ASICMiner 49 port hubs + 50 units! In Stock! 1.75 BTC - Hub only 1.1 BTC on: October 28, 2013, 07:17:42 AM

The question with this new 49 port usb hub, will be how was it built?  Was it built to usb specs or was it built with mining specifically in mind, meaning, more amperage available to each port.

This. This is the question I am asking. But nobody seems to have an answer.
539  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD] ASICMiner 49 port hubs + 50 units! In Stock! 1.75 BTC - Hub only 1.1 BTC on: October 28, 2013, 07:12:55 AM
I aint going to argue a point with you. You still won’t believe me. Go read on USB.org and look at the founders. (Intel) for better information. Or for that matter go plug 4 erupters into your 1.2a usb port hub and tell me if you get them all working with a full 1.332GH/S (I want proof). I don't have a degree in Electronics engineering for no reason. I do this stuff day in day out.

The charging USB ports are configured differently than a standard usb port.

Also WikiPedia anyone can create BULLcrap on that.

For better information take a look at the founders

The first USB technology began development in 1994, co-invented by Ajay Bhatt of Intel and the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum, Inc). The organization is comprised of industry leaders like Intel, Microsoft, Compaq, LSI, Apple and Hewlett-Packard. It supports and adopts comprehensive specifications for all aspects of USB technology.

and here is your WikiPedia information that you like so much. Says right on top.

Here is some more goodness for you from Wikipedia
Quote from: Wikipedia
Some devices, such as high-speed external disk drives, require more than 500 mA of current[57] and therefore may have power issues if powered from just one USB 2.0 port: erratic function, failure to function, or overloading/damaging the port. Such devices may come with an external power source or a Y-shaped cable that has two USB connectors (one for power+data, the other for power only) to plug into a computer. With such a cable, a device can draw power from two USB ports simultaneously.[58]

A bus-powered hub initializes itself at 1 unit load and transitions to maximum unit loads after it completes hub configuration. Any device connected to the hub draws 1 unit load regardless of the current draw of devices connected to other ports of the hub (i.e., one device connected on a four-port hub draws only 1 unit load despite the fact that more unit loads are being supplied to the hub).[56]

A self-powered hub supplies maximum supported unit loads to any device connected to it. In addition, the VBUS presents 1 unit load upstream for communication if parts of the Hub are powered down.[clarification needed][56]

Aka if the max the usb can supply is 1.2A that is IT.

Seriously man what are you arguing? THIS HUB...the one in THIS thread is powered by an EXTERNAL PSU. If the PSU can supply enough current at 5 v then you can theoretically output 5 amps to every single port on the hub if the hub allows for it. This is my question...what is the maximum current output allowed per port on THIS HUB? Not how does USB work.

Stop trying to tell me how USB works. You are not even arguing the same point any more. You can't even tell me how my own USB hubs work. The hub puts out 1.2 amp at ALL 4 ports because it has a 5 amp adaptor. I never said anything about its maximum you just assumed I meant the maximum output of the hub is 1.2 amps.
540  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [SOLD] ASICMiner 49 port hubs + 50 units! In Stock! 1.75 BTC - Hub only 1.1 BTC on: October 28, 2013, 06:22:38 AM
USB 2.0 spec was revised years ago to allow for current output higher than .5 amp. In fact it can support up to 5 now if the port has an external power source...And I'm tired of trying to explain this to you. Wikipedia is taking over now:

Quote
Battery Charging Specification 1.2:[16] Released in December 2010.
Several changes and increasing limits including allowing 1.5 A on charging ports for unconfigured devices, allowing High Speed communication while having a current up to 1.5 A and allowing a maximum current of 5 A.
