The form field "Country / Currency" is a bit misleading. Looks like you could only send EUR to France, Germany, Italy or Spain.
But down below you have "Country account held in", where you can put any Country.
So how is it? Can the wires be to any country? Or only from that list?
Can a USD wire go to a different country then United States?
If so, I'd recommend to remove the country names from the "Country / Currency" drop-down list, and just have currency codes there.
Fixed. Edit: Now disabled again. Subscribe for updates!

Are you serious about Swiss Francs? I'm an ignorant American. Are the Swiss not on the Euro? :-)
Switzerland isn't even a member of the European Union, let alone the Eurozone. Ignorant American indeed. Hey, I totally admitted that! I actually live in Australia. I've lived here for 7 years and in Japan for two years before that, but I always use being American as an excuse for anything I don't want to take the blame for individually. Full disclosure: I went to government school in the USA.

where is the Swiss Franc Can you confirm you can send USD outside the US? Do I get a better rate using USD somehow? As long as your bank accepts USD you can send them anywhere. Yes, USD and AUD are a better rate as those are the two currencies we deal in so there are no extra exchange rate costs for us. Are you serious about Swiss Francs? I'm an ignorant American. Are the Swiss not on the Euro? :-)

I'm confused ... that link goes to the forum post that shows Status: Disabled.
Are you providing International wire transfer withdrawals?
[Edit: I see, that will be like a toggle, as that is not a service that will always be available. Why not having your last post there always give the current status of enabled/disabled?]
I planned to always make my last post "enabled" but saw no reason to bump it just to say "disabled".

I have no idea what SHA and OUR mean, however I use a service called ozforex.com.au, which has their own bank accounts in countries worldwide, so from my experience so far, there have been little to no intermediary fees.
Well, they have fees: http://www.ozforex.com.au/why-us/feesfor example 5 USD for USD transfer, 10 EUR for EUR transfer. Do you cover these fees? Do you have a minimum payment? Otherwise someone will order to sell 1 BTC for EUR wire and you'll have to pay 14.96 EUR for that 1 BTC... well... the "Current Exchange Rate" in the "LED style" box doesn't change no matter what currency I choose. Neither in Chromium, neither in Firefox. You should do something about it before someone will want 4960 EUR for a 1000 BTC. They charge 15 AUD for a transfer that I make sending them AUD, and we pass that on to the customer, which is clearly stated on our page. Yeah, sorry about the drop down not working. We're working on getting that fixed. However, the calculator does work (ie if you enter 4960 EUR it will give you the btc amount in Euros) and if you change your currency on the main page ( http://spendbitcoins.com) it will follow you around the page. EDIT: Whoops, it WAS clearly stated. Seems to have not been re-added when I enabled wires this time. I've just put it back. Thanks for pointing that out!

The way it is it is very confusing. I have no idea looking at the form can I send a USD wire to a bank in a different country then the United States of America.
Also, the wires I imagine are SHA? Not OUR? If so, it'd matter to say from which bank exactly they are sent. For example my bank is a correspondent of:
AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND BANKING GROUP LIMITED, MELBOURNE, AUD, ANZBAU3M
so if it goes from that bank in AUD, I might decide to do it, otherwise not, because of risk of high intermediary corespondent fees.
Posting a list of all SWIFT correspondents of your bank would also be cool. Then one might see to which banks I can receive the wire without extra fees, and perhaps open an account at one of them.
Hi there, Thanks for your suggestions. Regarding the currency options, I'm aware we need to update these for the wire option. They were set up originally for Amazon. You can choose any currency you want and to any country you want. If the currency you want is not in the drop down, just let us know and we'll add it ASAP. I have no idea what SHA and OUR mean, however I use a service called ozforex.com.au, which has their own bank accounts in countries worldwide, so from my experience so far, there have been little to no intermediary fees. Any other questions, please be sure to let me know. Happy Spending! Jeremy

I would like to buy on newegg with my bitcoins. I know you can buy on newegg with paypal but i dont want paypal. Can you do this in the future?
Hi there, Unfortunately no. I have tried several times and their customer service is unbearable. They consistently cancel gift code errors without reason and then take hours of our time calling again and again to get the order through. I thought this was simply because I was buying from an Australian IP, and when my brother in the US came on board as a partner, I thought, great, now we can support NewEgg. Wrong answer! The same thing kept happening to him. Unfortunately, we just don't have hours and hours to spend on the phone with NewEgg trying to get orders through, which is really frustrating, because they are the most requested store to add. </rant> EDIT: Incidentally, they also declined our affiliates application. Do they just hate bitcoins? </conspiracy theory>

I used the Western Union spendbitcoins service and I received my money in the same day, which was great.
However, I was quoted (assuming dollar parity) to get $945. I only recieved $875.
When I entered my order, I sent over $1000 worth of coins (199.5 @ $5.04).
I'm not sure if it was in error or deliberate, but the fee seems a bit unreasonable.
You were quoted 945 AUD minus Western Union fees (was clearly stated on our website that the Western Union fee would be subtracted from the total quoted, and a link was provided to the Western Union site to estimate fees). Western Union charged 60 AUD and then converted 885 AUD to 875 USD. I did find out the next day that our AUD/USD rate failed to updat itself for over 20 days, so I am happy to send you the additional $60 if you can accept it via paypal or a refund of 12 bitcoins, regardless of the fact that we did send you exactly what we quoted you. EDIT: Also, we have since disabled Western Union for btc->fiat conversion as their fees are way too high for small transactions and large transactions end up being quite a hassle with ATM limits etc.

To convert btc to WU, you pay the WU fees, since you will be sending WU?
How much time it takes?
Hi there, As listed on our site, any Western Union fees are deducted from your total before sending. It takes up to 12 hours from sending your bitcoins for funds to be available to you at Western Union.

Hi, I am interested in a $500 Costco card. Can you please let me know for how long that card is valid? Also I assume it does not need to be used all at one time correct?
Thanks
Hi there, There is no expiration date and it is just like a prepaid debit card, you can use it as many times as you like. Just to make sure you're aware, though, it only works at Costco in the U.S. as far as I know. Happy Spending! Jeremy
