81  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Maybe bitcoin is a kind of a bubble,' Goldman Sachs CEO Blankfein on: November 10, 2017, 04:59:52 AM
Well bitcoin is consensus money at least the best there is out there at the moment that is ready to be used by any adopter. So i'm not sure why he's comfortable with the idea of that but not bitcoin itself? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Anyways yeah, it's definitelyan attempt to short bitcoin in my opinion.

They obviously have demonstrated interest in BTC in the past but seem to be relatively negative right now, meaning their positions probably have changed.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin drop hard? I am waiting to buy it. on: November 09, 2017, 09:40:26 AM
Will bitcoin drop hard? I am waiting to buy it.

I am thinking sell now 7280$  and buy back at 6700- 6900$. How do think about this strategy?

many peoples believe it will drop hard to 6500$-7000$

It will probably come at a later time but not now. Right now the price of bitcoin is still soaring because of Segwit2x being postponed for later, but within a few weeks/a month time you'll definitely see some minor and major price adjustments.

Buy when you see these adjustments coming.

You could always stock up right now, it's not a bad price to buy at. Just a tad high. Maybe buy a set amount of BTC every day.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoin NOW. November 8, 2017 on: November 09, 2017, 09:31:54 AM
I fruitful advise to all,

You need to sell your bitcoins now. This is because the btc is about to correct its price.

Dont wait for 8000 usd price btc will not reach that price yet.

After price correction, buy btc again.

BTC Price at coinmarketcap = 7,126.02 USD / BTC

This is only an advise not a recommendation, the decision is up to you. Good luck  Wink

The price has actually gone up to around $7700 today, but then it started to instacrash and it's now down around $500 from the all tim ehigh. Still though you would have profited from just holding BTC from your time of post.

I believe that price in the medium term will continue to go up, though a correction will probably happen in the short term to potentially drop prices down to a more acceptable buying level of $6000-6500 per coin.

Buy the dip if you get the chance.
84  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Exchange] HitBTC: >>1 month paid listings<< Scam or just very unethical? on: November 09, 2017, 09:28:02 AM
Well it's definitely shady since it's not directed to anyone in the public but rather just devs that are privately contacted can get this deal. It's obvious that the only reason why a dev would want to list their coin for one month only for a fee at a guaranteed level would be pump and dumps.

The fact that anyone would even be willing to pay this means that their project has absolutely no interest.

HitBTC is directly targeting those people, basically encouraging scammers.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 09:22:35 AM
When is the snapshot of price taken for this data? Or is it a weighted average of the daily price level like the original OP? because obviously today we saw an all time high of $7700, but just for a brief amount of time before price went down to around $7300 once again.

It would really be helpful if you could clarify this.

Apologies if i missed previous posts about this and is asking a duplicated question.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit2X Hardfork cancelled/postponed on: November 09, 2017, 09:19:53 AM
Already mentionned in the BTC/USD observer topic, but can be usefull to be repeated...

Source :
https://www.coindesk.com/2x-called-off-bitcoin-hard-fork-suspended-lack-consensus/

Yep and this news has had a major impact in the current bull run of altcoins and also bitcoin before a dump off. I really would expect the price of bitcoin to climb once again since now it is seen as one unified coin again.

It'll be extremely interesting to see how the price reacts to when segwit2x gets reannounced.

They're saying that it's just postponed, so not entirely cancelled.
87  Economy / Lending / Re: 💎💎💎 Dkpp Bitcoin Loan Service [0.1-0.5BTC] - COLLATERAL ONLY - 5%💎💎💎 on: November 06, 2017, 09:12:41 AM
Did you get scammed by ProspectorPR?

Just a tip - as a lender, if you want to accept collateral you either do so via escrow(best option for you since you are still a newbie) or get the collateral first before you send out the loan. You never send the loan before you receive the collateral.

Otherwise, no point whatsoever in having the collateral.

I'm new and i was a fool i sent first and i will never deal again without escrow.

That's good practice. Just take this as a really expensive lesson, man. Everyone makes mistakes when they first come into the bitcoin scene, it's rare to see anyone to not get scammed in such a anonymous and free environment.

That prospectorPR guy wasn't going to get you anything good as collateral anyways. He used fake collateral to scam several people.
88  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: November 04, 2017, 08:56:39 PM
I don't think there are any empty spots.

Yep, CFNP is closed for new participants. Not sure why people are still applying.

Any updates on payments? Been (nearly) a week.
89  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: DashBargain.com - buy anything online with Bitcoin! on: October 31, 2017, 11:09:25 PM
So will you guys ship the item directly to the buyer or will you first dropship to your warehouse and then you can ship to the buyer's address? I feel like the second option gievs a lot more privacy and anonymity in my opinion.

Is there a list of accepted sites that i am able to purchase from?

Service and site looks great, though. Keep up the good work.

91  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sent BTC to bitmixer2 and it's been over 24 hours and still haven't forwarded on: October 29, 2017, 03:43:01 AM
I sent some BTC through bitmixer2 and it's been over 24 hours and still haven't forwarded to my other wallet.  I've used this before and it's worked multiple times in the past but i'm starting to worry because it doesn't usually take this long.

Could anyone help? Thanks

They literally copied their entire website design from the legitimate bitmixer.

That's the first thing that should have hit your brain. If they are not even bothered to design their own site, but instead choose to impersonate a veteran site that has already shut down its operations, then they are most likely a scam.

I'm sorry, but take this as a loss. Hopefully it wasn't much but it's a lesson to be learnt.
92  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lost 25 bitcoins from bit blender on: October 29, 2017, 03:40:31 AM
I can assure you that bitblender has no reason to scam for 25 BTC.

If you look at their signature campaign alone they have invested 24 BTC into advertising their service. And this is excluding any other marketing. Why would they throw away all the trust built and potential profits in the future for 25 BTC?

I think it is most likely that you clicked on a phishing link. If not, then keep trying to reach support. Eventually you'll get a response for sure.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 02:03:39 AM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.

Well, in countries like Japan where the interest rates are negative having some overseas investment is always good and bitcoin essentially facilitates that. But previously if i remember correctly, it was taxed wrongfully and now that they've removed that.

You're right, in most countries bitcoin is just sort of a neutral figure.

It doesn't really have anything to do with the central bank, since it is completely independent anyways.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Difficulty jumps 21% on: October 29, 2017, 02:02:11 AM
Well i would assume that difficulty rises it is a precursor to bitcoin's price jumping up as well.

However jumping 21% at a time is completely abnormal and probably won't be sustained into the future. There has been no movement of price since yesterday, so i'm really doubting this correlation is true.

It's a viscous cycle that's great for HODLERS. Price rise causes hash power to increase and hash power increase causes price to increase!

Lol. Which came first, the hash power or the price? Haha like what came first, the chicken or the egg? I don't think there's any way to figure out over time what would come first.

Exactly. Maybe it's the pump of price that resulted in this.
95  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ****** [WARNING] CEX.IO - PENDING WITHDRAW FOREVER ******* on: October 28, 2017, 11:32:15 PM
It's not just you but a lot of other users of cex.io are having the same issue.

So yeah, you don't have many options on your hands. You'll just have to wait, keep on trying to reach out to them on whatever platform possible(i'm assuming that support tickets are going to be the primary way), and hope.

Unfortunately, that's how bad cex.io is right now. They've actually promised other users to process withdrawals but they haven't to date.

Well, I understand the situation of the other people is facing as well, but if you kindly read through my case carefully you will notice that it is different from others. I am doing well on withdrawal of payment card visa still now I try now and it is ok. It is instantly withdraw money to my bank account with no problem, it is just one transaction of 2000us from the past that is still pending and don't have no idea what situation it is with no answer and I need that money for a living, don't know they care this much or not. Again, it is just visa payment card that is an automate system that I have been using in cex.io for about many times with no trouble just face this first time and it should not have been a trouble at all because it is not like wire transfer or sepa etc.

I see. So the 20 USD withdrawal went ahead with no trouble?

My point still stands. Their customer support is pretty much nonexistent right now and if you do something wrong and need their assistance then you are essentially depending on luck, which will often result in a long wait.

Hopefully they respond.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is black monday possible in Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 11:28:52 PM
BTCWhat if bitcoin is suddenly crashed, what will happen to the investors who have invested millions of dollars,
If satoshi nakamoto suddenly decides to become devil and crashes down the server and take away all the money?
Then what will be the value of the bits??? again $1.

I don't think you understand how bitcoin works.

Bitcoin doesn't work like that. Satoshi can't come and suddenly shut down "bitcoin servers" which do not exist in the first place. The whole point of bitcoin from the beginning is to create a decentralized environment where people can trade and transact.

First of all, it'll never crash below $1000 in my opinion again. Even if it does, it's for a reason. Sure investors will lose money but bitcoin framework still works.
97  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A university in Vietnam receives tuition fees in bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 09:53:32 PM
Le Truong Tung, President of FPT University announced on social network on October 26 that the university with accept Bitcoin payment of tuition, which will be first applied for foreign students.
http://vietnamfriendship.vn/FPT-University-acccepts-Bitcoin-payment-05-16697.html?page=40

Well, i don't see a reason against it.

It's going to boost their image in terms of technology adoption or their willingness to actually use practical Fintech, people are going to have more payment options whether or not many people embrace it, and it's completely their business decision. They are free to accept whatever payment method they want.

Good news for bitcoin adopters in Vietnam, seems like their country is catching up.

99  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ALFAcoins - Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency payment processing system on: October 28, 2017, 09:44:47 PM
What are the advantages of using your service instead of Bitpay/Coinpayments/shapeshift? I mean you essentially offer the same product, but the services that i mentionied are a whole lot bigger and has got wider reach in terms of customer base.

But i like the site, it's clean and intuitive.

Never knew there was this service until today as well.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COBINHOOD - ZERO Trading Fee Cryptocurrency Exchange on: October 28, 2017, 02:10:43 AM
Nice looking site.

However really what really matters is not trading fees(exchange trading fees are already quite low for high volume traders on most exchanges), but rather the amount of volume they can get on their site. If they can get into top 10 in terms of volume then they can definitely blow up.

But yeah, could turn out to be a great investment.
