821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 15, 2016, 08:29:39 AM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?
I will stop if my funds out of stock for gambling. Unfortunately, I'm not good in gambling, I have no idea to make profits through games that I don't know how it works unless rely on my luck. So far, I just following tipster on sports betting but sometimes win and sometimes loss, not profitable for me. But I do enjoy the games and it feels entertaining, so I can control myself for sure.

That's good. If you are out of funds you know it's time to stop. I know a lot of people who are thousands of k's in debt because they have borrowed from a lender when they busted their bankroll, in turn to win back.

Personally my self control isn't as good as it could be, but i definitely won't take out a gambling loan regularly.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you like when gambling alone/ with your friend? on: December 15, 2016, 08:27:06 AM
I like playing gambling when im alone but i still prefer to gambling with my friends. because it can be our bonding when we are stressed in office and like the other said its not boring to play alone but it would be more exciting if you and your friends are both winning in gambling and together losing money haha. after playing gambling with friends we're gonna grab a drink so we can release our stress successfully.

Yeah, I think that gambling is something that would be really fun in a group environment because the atmosphere is as if something is at stake, and your friends can support you while you go through an emotional and monetary rollercoaster Smiley

It is always fun to play, when you know your friends have got your back for a few drinks even if you lose Wink
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: December 15, 2016, 08:26:06 AM
I will buy what I want if ever I got winnings from gambling. I prefer buying high end smartphones like Iphone and of course a brand new laptop to replace my old refurbished one.
Honestly, I just feel gambling for entertainment, but if I had given the chance to win a high amount, of course I would be very happy and thankful and think one of the very lucky in the world.

That is great words. I wished that I could say that as well.

Although we as gamblers all know that it is dumb to continue, the house edge will always catch up with us, gambling is only supposed to be entertainment, etc. etc., we always make the mistake time after time anyways of chasing our losses, and chasing our winnings too.

Personally, I sometimes do that, or I buy something that I really want.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: December 15, 2016, 08:24:54 AM
Not really, because slots i can't control the payouts, nor are most of the slot games on offer by softwiss or betsoft provably fair. They have also refused to pay out a few jackpots recently to add to their illegitimacy. They also usually have a higher house edge.

I would rather lose my money on dice, fair and square, instead of chasing a jackpot at the slot machine.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: December 15, 2016, 08:23:51 AM
Well, is it really true that anyone can even be good at a gambling game? Unless you're talking about PVP games, then there is really no chance for you to get a mathematical advantage over the house on any house v player games.

If you are talking about what games I enjoy, it is definitely blackjack and dice.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Highest profit on Bitcoin Gambling? on: December 15, 2016, 08:21:16 AM
What is the amount of highest win/profit in the history of Bitcoin Gambling? Do you guys have any idea?

Well, my highest profit in a single bet is 0.25 BTC from a 2.5 BTC bet at 1.1x payout. So it was quite a risky bet, I was chasing a 2x red streak on 1.1x, if i lost this bet then that would have mean that my whole bankroll would have been gone.

Luckily, i won that bet, but didn't cash out and lost it all anyways xD
827  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: December 15, 2016, 08:20:01 AM
i think bitcoin bank is necessary for bitcoin users ,

I really have to disagree. If you are just using bitcoin, then you don't need a bitcoin bank. A bitcoin bank is just a fancy name for a bitcoin investment. They want to sound like they are providing you with safe returns when you might as well just loan out your coins on polo or bitfinex and have the same amount of counterparty risk, of them doing a runner.
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: December 15, 2016, 08:18:45 AM
Because with bitcoin trading you are personally involved in it, if you believe that bitcoin is going to go well in the long run. That makes trading so much more worthwhile, and so much more fun as well in my opinion.

Also you are able to control the markets in certain situations, if you have enough funds, instead of riding the government policies all the time on fiat trading.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Steem dump again... on: December 15, 2016, 08:13:15 AM
Well there is the initial hype(always), people coming in saying how good steemit is, especially when steemit itself is a platform where you can make posts and earn money from making these posts, when people upvote you, making more and more hype up.

And then there is one point where people finally realise that it is just a bubble. Everyone dumps, price goes from 0.005 to 0.0001, bounces around sideways 0.0001-0.0003 region.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: December 14, 2016, 04:51:52 AM
Yes, definitely. If bitcoin doesn't have a future then I don't know what other cryptocurrencies can qualify as having a future? Most of the new ICOs are scams, they have no developer team that they claim to have, just a scammer that is running the whole scheme.

Just take a look at Ebitz and Opair, and deClouds.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 14, 2016, 04:50:47 AM
Gamblers usually have two severely flawed logical thoughts:

1. If I win, that means that I'm on a run. I will definitely win some more because luck is on my side today.
2. If I lose, that means that I'm having bad luck, but in future the nature will balance things out and the odds will swing in my favour. So better deposit some more, or martingale bet.

Not only are they severely flawed fallacies, they are also contradictory.

So no, as a gambler I hit my target balance, and I withdraw straightaway.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: December 14, 2016, 04:48:53 AM
The main reason is investing and also being able to have a decentralised, anonymous payment system. I don't need to submit IDs and go through the lengthy process of GreenID verification anymore, like I need to on other payment processors. Nor do I need to deal with dodgy admins that are basically anonymous, such as the admin of Perfectmoney, and Egopay(which went scam, by the way).

Bitcoin combines the good of every single payment method, and adds some of its own elements too.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: December 14, 2016, 04:46:56 AM
What would you do?
Move onto another coin?
Cry all day long?
Throw your computer in the pool?
Eat 100 bananas?

First of all, why would bitcoin even die in the first place? I don't get it. The network should sustain as long as there are people using it. But if it was to die, I would definitely seek online alternatives. In my opinion, bitcoin is something that i don't want to miss.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle CEO on BTC: Nobody Will Be Using Bitcoin in 5 to 10 Years on: December 14, 2016, 04:23:28 AM
The source of the statement is from this article http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/11/20/circle-ceo-nobody-will-using-bitcoin-5-10-years/

So I ask this. As the growth of the darknet market place every year keeps going higher and higher, the possibility of it becoming a multi billion market place is not too far to reach. What currency will it use if not Bitcoin?

Does the CEO of Circle knows what he is talking about at all? Most of the so called "experts" in the Bitcoin and blockchain world do not know what they are talking about because it is all still new.

For me the people to listen to about blockchains are Peter Todd, Gregory Maxwell, Adam Back, Luke-Jr and there might be some names I have forgotten so please post them in here.

It's his opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't agree with him.

I think that bitcoin although slowing down over the past few years has been getting a boost again since the halving earlier this year, as well as the price hikes as the result of the Trump presidency. If we as a community can make the right moves in the coming years we can definitely build this into a great project.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2016, 04:22:01 AM
If Trump presidency means a weaker US dollar - like many analysts suggest, then it will definitely drive up the price of bitcoin because bitcoin usually moves in the opposite direction of the US dollar as it is an asset like gold, not a fiat currency.

Bitcoin has already risen quite a bit since Trump was elected.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: December 14, 2016, 04:20:24 AM
I believe that if you want to double something it is logical to actually put it into a new technology that already has a existing customer base - like bitcoin. Unlike altcoins, it has a proven track record, and a lot more adopters and believers.

Bitcoin is nearly doubled in price this year, I can't see why it can't do so for next year as well.
837  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Wanting to trade 56 BTC for Paypal on: December 14, 2016, 04:18:04 AM
I can do this $49, if you wish. However I am definitely not going first because of your status as a newbie.

You do realise that even though paypal is reversible, doesn't mean it is easy to reverse? Especially when paypal is against the use of bitcoin, it is hard to chargeback on a transaction that you have made whilst you are in full control of your own account.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: December 14, 2016, 04:16:33 AM
Of course bitcoin can be used for good, because bitcoin as a technology is simply nothing less than a revolution, and when people actually realise the potential of this technology, sooner or later, they will switch to bitcoin and ditch fiat.

Fiat is an endless hole, if you save your money in fiat, then you can expect to never see it again.
839  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 14, 2016, 04:14:27 AM
Never believed in fiat and never will change my opinion about fiat. Fiat is just worthless pieces of paper and it won't ever change. Fiat by definition is the currencies that are backed by nothing, except for the trust in government.

Sooner or later, fiat will collapse. Why would you trust something that is used as a tool against you, to implement a secret tax where the government can just print more money and not tell you about it, thus taxing your existing savings? Roll Eyes
840  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: December 12, 2016, 07:24:40 PM
You shouldn't. You're right. Banks have the power to freeze your account at any given point in time, and they can take away all your money without saying why or even telling you how it is possible for them to do these sorts of outrageous things.

But also, they use fractional reserve to deceive you that they have all the cash needed to pay out despositors in time. That is... Not true. Thus the bank runs.
