Hey another Newbie i really like your writing skill
I've been using the site for interest on hodling 15 BTC, and the parimutuel sportsbetting.  I just read the last 30 pages of this thread and it seems weird that most of the thread is this public flame war between customer service and botters who had their accounts confiscated based on secret evidence.  
I used to be a software engineer Google and another online advertising company in LA and at the latter I was in charge of blocking bots that would click on our ads.  It's hard.  There were lots of false positives and false negatives.  Much respect to the people who do this for a living.  But there has to be a better way of doing it that doesn't spam the thread with flame wars about confiscated accounts.   Maybe you can just preemptively block signups from all the IPs of known proxies/VPNs/datacenters and block signups from duplicate IPs. (modulo the edge case where hundreds of distinct mobile devices often share the same IP -- gotta figure out which IP blocks belong to mobile ISPs that do that).  But anyway if you prevent signups by IP you'll have a lot less work to do for banning bots and probably also reduce the risk of false positives from people who were innocently using an open proxy or whatever.    Another quick and dirty idea is to rate limit free btc claims per /24 or /16 IP block.  Are you guys hiring?

Of course, I'm hunting out the cheats and thieves every day. When you give away free money there is no end of low-life scum who will try to take more than one person is entitled to. They were not empty words. I fully explained that I need verifiable proof of ownership of an account before I can circumvent the security measures the original owner put in place.

That's a very poor attempt at blackmail. It won't work because I'm actually really happy every time someone who tries to steal from us publicises that they got caught. Seeing the consequences of that will make other people think twice before trying the same thing. If I refunded failed thieves their deposits there would be no deterrent to stop ever-larger hoards if thieves coming.

Actually, Bitcoin fees have been very low compared to what happened 4 years ago in the last bull market. It is very rare that you have to wait more than a day to get a 1 Sat/Byte transaction confirmed. https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,30d,weight
They are also a lot lower than ETH Gas fees. The problem is usually the exchanges charging a set high fee regardless of network conditions. It's best to avoid such services.

That's incorrect. You can click the provably fair link and change the client seed on a WoF spin in exactly the same way as a dice roll. You have to do it before you solve captcha because that's when the spin occurs, clicking the spin button just displays the result.

Yes. That was extensively discussed here on the forum at the time. The price of BTC increased drastically after we introduced WoF before we linked prized to USD so it's part of bringing the cost back to what was intended.

We are a faucet and casino so it isn't intended to be used for other purposes. A real mixer will not keep records of your transactions.

AFAIK the PR agency uses them for putting announcements/adverts out. It's probably all automated through an API. If there was an option to disable replies I'd guess they would use it. There's nobody there to read them.

Facebook is just full of scam and spam.
And it feels like nothing is being done about it...

For something like this you can only have a separate department that takes care of such scams and spams.
In the end it can also cast a bad light on the real company if people are scammed by fakes or are provided with false information.

It is how social media works. Two years ago, Facebook implemented new policies which cause to massive bans on many farm accounts. They required more steps to create a valid account for using. It is their efforts to eliminate farm accounts but it is not enough.

Spam is still there and on Facebook, you can see many bot messages to shill projects or to attack other projects. Scam is another issue that they can not control. They have features for page admins to hide scam messages, delete or report such ones.

However, people should prepare enough knowledge, read more, being more careful when they are on social media. In the end, they have to protect themselves from scammers, not Facebook, not any forum, not any social media platform, not any chat platform.
