21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 22, 2017, 08:43:28 AM
Do we all have BTU's to sell now after that shitshow??

Just wanna know.. if i have.. then that is free money, i can short that and buy BTC with.

Anyone know?

Good luck with that 'scamcoin' ... Cheesy Cheesy  ... confidence is weak! Smiley

I just want to short it for BTC if i can. Confidence is rightly weak, it's an absolute shitshow of a mess that i was against from the get go.

EDIT: There are a few reputations in tatters after this. People who will never be taken seriously or listened to again. Shown up for what they are: Clueless.

I think that this movement look a lot like the 9-2-2016 scenario.

-Pump
-Dump
-consolidation for 2 months ( we are here now)
-next dump (small)
-bull run can continue again

Wish you'd use the name of the month instead of numbers.. this amreican/european date format can be confusing

I just deep down feel the ETF rejection was a good call and is actually a benefit.. and also that the segwit / core / blockstream / BU drama will get sorted soon. LN? SegWit? tumblebit, mimblewimble.. layer 2 scaling solutions? there is a lot of talk.. and somehow.. somehow it will all be sorted out for the best.. that then, is blastoff.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run is over. Welcome to the consolidation period. on: March 12, 2017, 02:19:40 PM
I thought that too.. until 2 minutes ago..

Like, that would be the normal thing to do.. side ways around 1200 for a while..

I'm not so sure now. Now I think.. "consolidate, my ass... - to the moon inside a couple of weeks"

I don't think I've ever felt so bullish.

And the 'good guys' are who?
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: EXPERT: Bitcoin has Been Infiltrated on: March 12, 2017, 02:10:09 PM
I'm neither a bear nor do i redside in a forest.. you make a lot of weird assumptions, dude.

wait a fu..n minute.. go back to the bit where you said bitcoins performance was poor.. then try and back that up.. go on.

Feckin' thrill shills man..  Shocked
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: EXPERT: Bitcoin has Been Infiltrated on: March 12, 2017, 02:03:51 PM
Im not sure if this is a joke? I stopped watching after her first sentence:

"Bitcoin has been infiltrated. That's why its performance has been so poor."

Classic cognitive bias case. You refuse to consume information that contradicts with your established belief system.

Yeah, but disagreeing that bitcoin's performance has been 'poor' doesn't count as cognitive bias in any sane person's book.

So, to conclude.. you're the idiot here and tabnloz is spot on.

Next.

let's open a quick debate...

Looking at the chart objectivily, don't you see a huge buying interest?

LedgerX, Cme Future, crowd has been focusing in what they're all speaking about, smart money doing the opposite...

I do. It's about ready to explode. Buy or die time soon.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 11, 2017, 11:31:57 AM

WE are sitting above the price of Gold per Oz and marginally over the Mt.Gox ATH..

A good day all round. Gentlemen.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 02, 2017, 12:10:02 PM
Gold is $1241 per Oz

BTC is @ $1234.56 on Stamp...

The launch of the first Gold ETF was hardly bullish. For the first year of its existence, the metal's price actually dropped. Eventually, it took off, but more as a result of the turmoil unleashed by the global financial crisis than on its own merits.

https://www.bloomberg.com/gadfly/articles/2017-02-27/winklevoss-bitcoin-etf-bet-is-a-countdown-to-zero-or-less

So bitcoin price drops after ETF aproval?  Shocked

The gold market has been fully developed for millennia. That's a deeply silly comparison.

GLD probably hasn't done gold any favours though. I wonder whether a Bitcoin ETF will do the same.

I read this article the other day.. my opinion of it? Its basically a big steaming pile of horseshit.
He reckons bitcoin is at a binary crossroads waiting for news of the ETF - Extrapolated further. the very survival of bitcoin depends on ETF approval?

And then he finishes by saying: "The digital currency's future has never been this binary. Unlike with programming code, though, one of the two alternatives isn't zero: It's a deeply negative number."

You can pay heed to this article if you like.. but my immediate thoughts after reading it were: idiot.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: March 01, 2017, 10:05:27 AM
Ok, suit yourself!
At the time i wrote it, that was the information you presented. (How was I to know it was a typo, afterall, there it was in black and white, i just took it at face value)

That doesn't change what i wrote below there, though. I don't see the correlation he is talking about.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: March 01, 2017, 09:26:18 AM
I don't see any correlation at all between Silver and Bitcoin!!   Huh  Huh

Thats not to say it isn't there.. I wasn't around & trading silver or bitcoin back then.. but just looking at the two charts.. i don't see any similarities.  Undecided

(My first thought was: If you look hard enough for what you want to find, you will find it sooner rather than later, and eventually you will find it everywhere you look.
Confirmation bias. You have admitted bearish long term bias, so its natural you seek bearish opinions to confirm your own.)

He compared them on backwardation (really? futures markets have such an impact on btc??)
Hype.. totally subjective.. I could spend all day reading hype articles and sense that there was a 'hype building' around a topic.. or i could ignore them.. and not sense ANY hype at all.
That's just totally subjective and whatever he is sensitive too perceiving.

TSI? Currently well above 0  @~35-40...

So, having look at and compared the charts and the statements.. i just don't get it. IMO, what he's talking about (the guy who replied) is opinion.. or perhaps he just wants to agree with someone he admires, i really don't know.

You'd be better off absorbing what Mr. Lignham has to say, and also if you watch the vid i posted, Mr. Jozza.. he talks about the long-term uptrend that we're in.

Draw a line on your chart, tracing this trend (since around Oct'16) - The area near this line is an entry point if we see a drop. It won't break $900 imo and that's in the worst case scenario.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: February 28, 2017, 07:25:50 PM
I have just read the Vinny Lignham article too, and a lot of what  he says seems like common sense.

If the COIN ETF goes ahead in march, best case scenario would be if we could grow yet somehow manage not to overheat too much, as this would cause another boom bust cycle.
Or crazy bull run and spectacular crash followed by a long bear market. Like 2014-15..
I would also prefer if we avoided that.

I'm ambivalent if the ETF gets approved or not.

Anyway.. here is a video from Mr. Jozza with a a more immediate trading focussed outlook..
